Well the match will not last even half a day. Looking at england batting performance even batting one session would be a challange for them. Root already out and only stokes a solid batsman left. They can collapse yet again as they collapsed last two times also. England batting is really bad. As soon as root gets out they always get bundled out cheapely.
After watching the three innings they played in the Ashes, there is nothing much they will do in this match, their plan is to play as long as possible and delay the loss, which batsman will test the patience of Australian bowlers is to be seen as they have not done that till now and now they are playing to save the match, they will fold soon but expect some cameo performance.
1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My coins percentage down on: December 19, 2021, 04:58:18 PM
Even though the entire cryptocurrency and none crypto assets on the stock market price are down currently but the level at which my various altcoins portfolio crashed backward baffles me, please can anyone explain for me how the altcoins market works.
There is no magic recipe that would predict how the market would go. Even the new coins that are listed hyped for a while and had a good entry while listing and even those coins went down after a few trading days. That is how the market is right now, it is hard to predict how the market would gain momentum, it all depends upon individual projects and how they are planning to attract the investors.
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY ARE ETHEREUM GAS FEES RIDICULOUSLY HIGH? on: December 19, 2021, 03:36:52 PM
I was about making a withdrawal transaction some time ago on the ethereum chain, and the service fee was approximately the amount of the withdrawal I wanted to make.
Is this normal or was the platform dubious?
For the past several month, high fees are a normal in the ETH platform. There was a time when Vitalik Buterin used to mock the transaction fees of BTCitcoin when the transaction fees crossed $10 and how it wont scale and his magic net will change everything and now anyone who invested in the ETH network are stuck because they do not want to spent $100 of dollars to make a transaction and multiple hundreds for minting using the ETH network, how ridiculous things can be in a short period of time   Cheesy.
1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 19, 2021, 02:37:28 PM
As expected, it ended in a KO/TKO. It looked like Daukaus was too confident in his counters and volume punching. It was a smart move to clinch while Lewis is throwing powerful combinations but he still threw some punches and he paid the price. Just look at how Lewis controlled his head before landing the right hands that dropped him. He should have tried to recover first and then distanced himself.
I was expecting the fight to end soon but i was not sure about the skill level of Chris Daukaus. Disappointing to see Stephen Thompson on a loosing streak and Belal Muhammad came up with the perfect mindset to take him down and control the fight. Cub Swanson won the fight and it was a great knockout as well as i did not expect a first round knockout.

I would be surprised if Woodley would win here, not underestimating him but this exhibition fight is the game of Jake Paul, he is the king here and he will not choose an opponent that he think he would lose. If Woodley will adjust here, I'm pretty sure Jake Paul would do the same.
After watching the fight, the hype created by the so called analyst was to hype up the fight so that users will purchase the PPV and they have done  good job hyping the fight. Now the dream of Tyron Woodley to pursue a career in boxing is over as he is not even able to defeat Jake Paul and his career in MMA is done for good. He needs to find something else or pursue a career in music which he was trying to pursue when he was the champion Cheesy.

Going through the match statistics of majority of the test matches, the first session used to be smooth and there won't be much of wicket fall. The second session used to be completely different from the first one. The ground used to change its nature with time, and how far this makes the change in the play matters. I'm not saying the ground is responsible for this, but it also have its role.
England is giving away the matches too easily, once their top order is gone especially Joe Root then they are in big trouble as their middle order performs  once in a while, even in today's match i thought England would fight back but once Joe Root lost his wicket England surrendered the match to Australia.

Before the series i thought this will be a great series but unfortunately it is a one sided trashing.

The assumption is based on WestIndies performance for last 3 to 4 years. There are bright chances that Pakistan will win the series. WestIndies first priority should be to avoid whitewash at every cost. A win can surely boost there confidence. Its so heartbreaking to see WestIndies team in such down situation.
West Indies is competitive only in the T20 format and now they are not producing the talents that they used to considering how they performed badly during the last T20 World Cup and that is continuing in the current series against Pakistan, who reached the finals. Pakistan is a really strong team and there is no way West Indies will dominate Pakistan.

their chance to be able to compete is very difficult now jack may come back to challenge if fury is healed later but will he be able to beat Woodey later.
whether this youtuber can bring his luck again against this former UFC fighter or not because if you look at it, actually Woodey is a former UFC welterweight champion who is considered a good striking MMA fighter.
There are huge bets coming in for Tyron Woodley and the odds are attractive and some of the experts are claiming that Tyron Woodley can amend his loss this time around and the odds are 2.8 which is really attractive but i have not seen him win a fight for a long time and i am yet to see him work in the gym and Tyron Woodley had really power when he was reigning as a champion but once he lost that power, may be due to injury he started accumulating losses.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 17, 2021, 09:58:52 PM

T20 and ODI goes hand in hand, majority of teams have same captain for ODI and T20. As both formats are about fast cricket. If Rohit is named captain for T20 then its obvious he will lead ODI squad also. As far as Kohli is concerned, he is not treated well by BCCI. He must be taken into confidence before making such a decision.
There is a discussion going on regarding the surprise removal of Virat Kohli as a captain from ODI, when Mohammed Shami was attacked by the right wing political party against his performance against Pakistan, Virat Kohli voiced his opinion against attacking him when the entire team failed to perform and that was the downfall that culminated in his removal from captaincy.

What ever it may be the situation, i was expecting him to be removed as the T20 captain but not from ODI and even Virat Kohli was surprised by the BCCI decision.

Some people think that their bitcoin is safer at an exchange than in their own custody. As you can see from these recent news, that's not true at all. "Not your keys, not your bitcoin".

Learn how to keep your bitcoin safe in cold storage instead of keeping it in exchanges.
How many experience does one need to understand that keeping your coins in exchanges are not the safest option in the cryptocurrency space. I know there are people who still holds coins in Tier 1 exchanges but the risk is really high as we have seen the top exchanges getting in trouble and once that happens it is a battle when you will get back your coins.

Only move coins to exchanges if you are planning to take a position, if not it is always safe in your own standalone or hardware wallet.

James Anderson breaking the partnership picking two wickets and today Steven Smith lost his century loosing his wicket for 93 runs and now Alex Carey lost his wicket and the tail is exposed. It is a matter of time how long Australia will bat.

The way in which Travis Head lost his wicket was ridiculous, clean bowled to a full toss from Joe Root Cheesy.
1612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of NFTs on: December 17, 2021, 12:00:24 AM
I don’t know about you, but it looks like we’re in the ICO stage (2017) stage of NFTs. Quick cash grabs, high floor prices, etc.

Beyond art, I see so many other applications for NFTs. Example: Michael Jordan creating a fan engagement platform with NFTs, companies like 4K turning physical goods into NFTs to leverage, music platforms that sell NFTs to redeem for experiences, etc.

What other applications do you guys see for NFTs?
I am not sure we can compare the ICO phase to the NFT boom, ICO was literally a period of time where any projects could collect money without any legit use case, but when it comes to NFT space, there are some legit projects out there, i was reluctant to jump into the space for a very long time, but once i started looking closer, i changed my perception. Some of the AR VR products some of these projects are launching is outstanding.

Unlike the other national cricket teams, West Indies represent a loose conglomerate of a dozen or so independent nations, and there are always issues with nepotism and selection. These issues surface once in a while and bring down the morale of these players.
West Indies always represented a loose conglomerate of dozens of independent nations even when they were dominating world Cricket during the 1970 and 1980. The level of talent was reduced considerably, they had some great players and the captain can be credited for finding those great players. Not sure about the current situation or the nepotism while selecting rather than skills.

West Indies played well and had posted a good total of 207 runs and still Pakistan did not allow them to win especially Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam their main pillars of batting Cheesy.

CMC is hacked ? Just work up and see i have more money than elon musk in my wallet .

1 Bitcoin = 799,988,888,678
It is not just BTCitcoin, the entire market went to new all time high and some of the coins went to zero, it is just a bug as they announced and i think it has affected some wallets that were connected to CMC and i think some of the swaps were affected with the bug. Not heard if anyone lost any serious amount due to this, but i have seen a few scammers popping up asking you to help rectify the issue Grin.

Shittt Davey!!  why why? Poor guy missed a ton again. Aus 178/2
In 2016 Mark Nicholas started this curse for David Warner in Test as he lost his century because of commentators curse as Mark Nicholas was talking about David Warner not getting out in the 90s and just then he lost his wicket in his 90s and the video is available where Shane Warne gets frustrated in the commentator booth and he is going through that patch still  Cheesy, this is the second consecutive innings Warner missing his century in Ashes tournament.

Link of that video where Mark Nicholas casting his jinx  Cheesy
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still makes you rich or end of trend? on: December 16, 2021, 05:16:06 PM
meme coin is just a hype phenomenon full of manipulation, so it takes a lot of luck to get rich and profitable from meme coins.  don't expect you to be able to analyze price changes on meme coins because it's useless..
The majority of the cryptocurrency space run on the basis of hype and do we need to complain about that. Majority of the projects does not have any use case and they are rallying simply because they are run by big funds backing their project and their vision is to make money and some of the project are doing that wonderfully, so why accuse meme coins as just hype.  Tongue Cheesy

Anyone who invested in Doge last year would have made a fortune, that is the ultimate aim of some of these projects Wink.

Bravo and Gayle is already having Retirement from International cricket just because of this now selection committee is looking for some newly players for future but still I am having no good and positive movement into West Indies cricket because now they completely fail to have some good and quality players which is big concern for them in domestic set up.
It is time that the West Indies Cricket board start looking for new players, Gayle and Bravo era is long gone and they might perform once in a blue moon but they are well past their prime and they need to find players who could fill their shoes even though it is impossible to find someone that could replace their great players but they need to groom young talents.
1618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Machine Learning truly predict Bitcoin's price? on: December 12, 2021, 08:14:47 PM
I think machine learning can predict bitcoin's value but not that accurately as machine learning predicts by analyzing past patterns , it wouldn't take into consideration of current news. For example Covid lockdown and many other factors which affects bitcoin's value in real time.So IMO also do your research before believing in youtubers and investing blindly.
They can evaluate the market situation in multiple exchanges and then have an idea about the market by studying and analyzing the buy and sell wall of major exchanges. Other than that it is hard to predict the price with any machine learning and no one can predict exactly what will happen in the market and if someone finds that magic solution, he will be a billionaire  Cheesy.
1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of SHIBA Inu, is this the end of the Road? on: December 12, 2021, 07:52:01 PM
We can't predict exactly what will happen in the future of Shiba inu. Meme coin does't have any use case, so I think, it will stay in the market if there are people still patronizing this type of token. Yes, the community behind this token will be the way to increase the value of shiba inu. Let's wait and watch what will happen next.
I do accept that meme coins are created for fun and hence the name, but recently i found some gambling sites started to accept Shiba Inu, if any business is using them, then that is the use case you have to think. Other than that what is the use cases standard you are thinking. If you hold a coin either it was a funny coin meme coin, it does have some utility and by the general standards in the cryptocurrency community it is doing that.

I am not an investor in the coin, i just said my opinion about it. If none of the site was accepting it then it was a different story.

And the underdog won. Yep, the champ is the underdog because many believe Dustin Poirier is about to whack him. Turns out they are rooting for the wrong guy.
Bookmaker counted him out vs Poirier but managed to prove them all wrong. Dustin isn't an all-around fighter who can manage on the ground, the gas tank drained after that and the night becomes the underdog domination. The body shots I guess hit Dustin so hard.
The reason everyone was considering Charles Oliveira as an underdog was because he had so many defeats in his record especially against good strikers and he had loosing streak in the past but he got in my radar when he defeated Tony Ferguson and then i looked back and checked his fights after his defeat against Paul Felder and i was surprised that he was finishing all those fights with his submission skills and he improved his overall striking game.

Dustin Poirier is not a one trick pony as well, he has good ground game and he has good chokes.
