And I thought OP's post was going to lead somewhere when it begun with the problems the people are facing in these difficult times, but it had to lead to a conclusion about some monotheistic religion.
2582  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal to allow cryptocurrency buying, selling and shopping on its network on: October 24, 2020, 05:04:56 PM
This PayPal news is yet another attempt to leverage fractional reserve applied to Bitcoin. I will be eagerly waiting the day that all the people that will store bitcoin via PayPal will want to cash out when the price will skyrocket. That will be the day of PayPal collapse.
I leave them to that but I am sorry for new users that are about to be fooled if things remain like this.

I've never trusted PayPal and thought their business model will not survive with the fees they're charging. They somehow became popular and rode on that popularity for a time, but the fees and time it took for them to register money on the account was really bad compared to Bitcoin that allows you to exchange instantly instead of waiting for your money to appear on your centralized paypal account and then be moved to your bank.
They were trying to undermine Bitcoin's position first by attacking it and then trying to push Libra. Now they're opening payments, but it really looks like they're trying to accumulate coins this way. You won't know what they're doing with your coins as long as they're sole holders of your keys.

From June 2014 through December 2017, Helix conducted over 1,225,000 transactions for its customers and was associated with virtual currency wallet addresses that sent or received over $311 million dollars.

How are they even able to measure that in USD? Between 2014 and 2017 the price of Bitcoin was jumping between as low as $100 and $20000 so it was 311 million when? In 2017? If so it was only 100 million in 2020... Also, if he was mixing cryptocurrency without even touching USD how can they call it money transmitting? Is RPG gold also money? It's classic abuse of power on their side if you ask me.
2584  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-10-16] Institutions can cause Bitcoin shortages in the market on: October 18, 2020, 09:50:24 PM
Bitcoins are not consumed. There will never be a "bitcoin shortage".

You're on point. There can only be a temporary drop of supply. Whatever we call it, it can indeed cause the price to surge and form a bubble. I wouldn't mind a quick 50k USD run up Roll Eyes
2585  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-10-15] 10% of all bitcoins are concentrated on five exchanges on: October 18, 2020, 09:39:39 PM
Only 10%? I'm surprised it is that low. I would expect it to be more like 50%.

There are many speculations as to how much of the total supply is lost. If that 10% of all bitcoin is taken out of the mined amount and we subtracted the lost coins, that 10% could double. If we added the mentioned above Bitmex to the mix the number would become even higher. Many people say that centralized exchanges are the weakness of Bitcoin and I tend to agree.
2586  Economy / Speculation / Re: What could be the impact of the US election on currencies? on: October 18, 2020, 09:26:06 PM
If we'll have an impact it's going to be indirect, which means the election news will hit the stock market first, just like the lockdown did and the stock market will impact bitcoin and bitcoin other cryptocurrencies. Since the election is usually a nervous period, many investors prefer to stay out of the market ready to go back in when it's all over and they know there were no riots or anything like that, I think we'll go up in a few months.
2587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Not User Friendly Yet on: October 18, 2020, 09:10:18 PM
To get a bitcoin wallet is even more simple than register new bank account. Why people still think that btc is hard?

Probably because they're trying to comprehend the technology behind it which doesn't make sense. They don't know what operating system the server of their bank is based on so why do they have to know how blockchain operates to be able to use it? Nowadays sending and receiving BTC can be done by scanning a QR code and entering the pasword that's all it takes to pay someone. If that's hard, the person has to be tech illiterate.
2588  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 18, 2020, 08:51:19 PM
I think pandemic is good now in market because many people have no work now and they are want to invest in bitcoin for a short and even a long term. In our situation right now is very hard to find work so we need to find another ways to get income those who have knowledge in bitcoin are investing again to earn while the pandemic is going on.

What are they going to invest if they lost their jobs? People who have less money are less eager to invest because investment is a risk. When you have a lot of money or at least a steady source of income you can take a loss, you are not afraid to gamble a bit.
Since the current sutuation is bad for the stock market and stocks influence BTC, I say it's also bad for us. I'd like to see some good counterarguments.
2589  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 18, 2020, 08:31:45 PM
I'm still a student. Varsity is also closed  for covid-19. So I'm currently  spending boring time sitting at home. I Spend time doing some bounties. In such a situation, i can't chat with friends outside. Everyone’s financial condition is also bad. In fact, i am having a bad time.

Are you really bored at home? Don't you have hobbies? A girlfriend maybe?
I always had so much to do that I could spend months at home and not run out of things to do (as long as I had some money coming in of course).
I'm still unaffected by this whole shutdown. Yesterday I had some friends come over for a drink. Smart people don't care about the pandemic and continue to live their lives. Worst thing you can do is give up.

The religion of peace strikes again. Roll Eyes
At least they say the suspect was shot so no more beheading for him. There are virging goats awaiting him in the afterlife.

Islam is the religion of peace and it preaches peace in the world.

What about the holy war? Isn't it the idea of the religion of peace? What about virgins awaiting every dead jihadist?
They want peace through war.

However incidents like these are condemn by the Islamic teachings and those who are involved in these activities are not muslims or are the one's giving bad names to the muslims.

Some support it some condemn it, but the truth is that no other religion goes as far to convert people to its teachings. Even if only 10% of Mulslims support jihad, it's stilll too much. While it's widely called the religion of peaace I don't hear about similar acts of violence commited in the name of other religions.
2591  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: October 18, 2020, 01:11:25 PM
There are just lazy person wanting a passive income without working on it. This is not the way the government wanted at least you could have done something to do good for the government in return or to the community. You are just longing for a passive income when you can't get help yourself to get a job at least or start a business. It would be better if you can think or started to get involved and once you will be successful one day you can have pasive income.

Get your ass move first before making delusionals on making passive income.

You're quick to judge but passive income is a better form of income and it doesn't mean a person who wants to acieve it is lazy. Many people I know worked hard all their lives to finally achieve passive income in their 50s or 60s. I know a man who owns warehouses and rents out storage space, I also know a guy who owns a hotel. They both had to spend a lot of time and money before the businesses grew enough. Demanding a high and sustainable passive income from something like PoS mining is a bit naive, but using market investments to build a self-sustainable business is a great idea.
2592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "10 Reasons Bitcoin Is A Terrible Investment" - A pathetic attack against BTC? on: October 18, 2020, 01:01:41 PM
>Blockchain is years from being mainstream
Its true, isnt it? Only very small amount of customers pays for goods in crypto. And not so big amount of people in the world know that bitcoin is in general

It is true and it may never go mainstream but remain localized. For example, is a Russian ruble mainstream? I wouldn't go that far. It's not a world reserve currency and you can't use it to pay for goods and services outside Russia. You can exchange it to other currencies almost anywhere in the world, but it's the same with Bitcoin. Localbitcoins traders can be found all around the world and bitcoin exchanges exist in most countries. So, we don't need Bitcoin to be mainstream, we just need it to be there. To remain as an option.
2593  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: October 18, 2020, 12:50:06 PM
Humans cannot be replaced by robots very soon, because it needs a lot of time to create a perfect robots that can act or work  like a human. There are so many robots that is now already invented but still it cannot replace the human, however there are still a great posibility that in the near future the people can create more accurate robotics to do human task or works.

You're saying that it won't happen but your main concern seems to be time. You're trying to fight the statement but end up confirming it in your own words by saying that we'll need a lot of time to create perfect robots. The truth is, it's going to happen sooner or later and most of us deep inside know that it will the moment we finally create the first self-learning and self-replicating machine.
2594  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Athiest are the ultimate free thinker? on: October 18, 2020, 12:16:43 PM
My biggest gripe with atheists is some of them come across as arrogant ass holes with a superiority complex. They'll be dicks to religious folks because they make the claim that they're on the side of science while religious people believe in some fairy above the skies. But words aren't violence.

This is the exact reason why I try to stay away from religious freaks. Some of them can be such annoying dicks to atheists or even people with a bit different understanding of the same religion. They think that only their interpretation is the right one and if you don't agree you're a subject in need of conversion. A great example of such dicks are jehovah's witnesses.
2595  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Balance on Exchanges Reducing on: October 17, 2020, 12:56:41 PM
Makes me wonder if the time needed to move coins to an exchange will limit the supply during the next bull run and make the price skyrocket.
Think about it for a moment. The supply is getting low now, with the demand being relatively stable because people are moving coins from the exchanges. When demand explodes people who would be inclined to sell will not be able to get their coins to exchanges fast enough to satisfy the demand. I'm not a trader so I won't really benefit from it, but a big bull run would be good for Bitcoin's image.
2596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin investment stage on: October 17, 2020, 12:42:53 PM
Comparing it with the ICO market that is unstable and full of scams may not be the best idea.
I'm a believer who thinks that every 5 years or so people will reflect back on the old days and say "why didn't I go all in back then", but if you look at the big players on the market right now, if you were able to stay invested for decades, you did good no matter which of them you chose. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Tesla... they all started low and exploded.

It's funny how people have negative opinions about Bitcoin and say it's a bubble, while Tesla is in a similar bubble right now. It was worth 7 USD in 2013 and went to 440 in 7 years. We're talking about 60x growth when Bitcoin barely went from 1k USD to 11k in that time (11x). Based on the above, I say that Bitcoin is yet to see a real bubble that will easily take us to 50k USD.
2597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you promote bitcoin if you were Jack Dorsey (twitter's big boss)? on: October 17, 2020, 12:31:02 PM
Too much promo can also be bad. He shouldn't do too much of it or he'll risk getting a label of that crazy guy who always talks about Bitcoin.
All that's needed from him is to remain consistent. If he likes Bitcoin, he likes Bitcoin. Worst thing a person can do is to be like McAfee: very enthusiastic at first, but quickly turning into a shill and a salty loser.
2598  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Covid reinfection on: October 17, 2020, 12:11:23 PM
I've read somewhere that the virus is mutating and the strain that came from Wuhan and was spreading in March and April was not the one we're getting now. For this reason there's an increase in active cases around the world when compared to the numbers in Spring. Also our immune systems might be weaker now than they were in Spring and Summer due to lower temperatures. The weather in the EU has been really bad lately.

2600  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Opinions on relationship in the society. on: October 17, 2020, 11:23:59 AM
Generally speaking girls won't accept someone who is financially in bad situation and also men also concerned about extra burdens and what we can do after getting in to relationship because they get more responsibility. Perfect relationship are mever exist, so make money then you have more choice to choice to choose from.

You're generalizing. There are as many types of women as there are types of men.
Most women want strong men to accompany them, men who can take care of them, protect them, stay calm in dangerous situations, but not all demand men to be rich and pay for everything. They see it as an additional quality, but not a must.
None of my friends are rich and they have women. It's funny but I know 2 guys that are doing pretty good financially and both of them are struggling with women. They both look good and are in their 30s, drive nice cars, but women just don't stick with them.
