2581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your BTC for $100 000, and never go back to the game again? on: December 18, 2020, 11:40:03 PM
I am booking my profits whenever i feel that the market is going for a big correction and most of the times it is hard to predict exactly how the market will react, the game continues and even if i sell all my coins i will be purchasing once there is a correction and the market settles down irrespective of the higher valuation and even if the price reaches a million dollar and booked my profit i will be in the game.

He was lucky that the PCB spared him from a permanent ban. However, after his return he could never manage to perform in a consistent manner. But IMO, he should have been a bit more patient. He's just 28 years old and had another 7-8 years of prime cricketing career ahead of him. Anyway, who knows? He may be planning something else. Some of the South African players are trying to migrate to US, so that they could be eligible to represent USA in three years time. Amir may also be thinking the same.
Amir was 18 years old when he did the mistake and there were senior players who might have forced him including his captain during that series, atleast this is the sentiment he got from the bigger audience including senior players who retired from the sport and hence he was spared from getting banned for life and he literally ruined his cricket career along with Asif who i considered to be the best bowler during that period.

May be he is planning to migrate to other countries but the shadow of match fixing in which he is trying to hide will be there forever.
2583  Economy / Speculation / Re: $25,000 can be achieved by end of year? Or January 2021? on: December 18, 2020, 06:48:53 PM
But a gain to $25k might be seen as a bubble and it could be burst anytime soon. We don't like that. The price is still hovering $23k but I think there will be resistance now.
The big fund houses that are investing heavily in BTCitcoin does know very well what they are getting into and we can view that as a bubble as all these big investors will dump the coins whenever they reach their target and we cannot do anything about that and BTCitcoin went from hardcore BTCitcoin enthusiast holding the coins to capitalism and that is a fact you cannot ignore and they do not really care about the fundamentals as they only look for profit.
2584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 18, 2020, 05:42:32 PM
I agree with your first statement but about second Pakistani Players banned from IPL its never been issue for Pakistani players
The IPL is the biggest cash cow and it will affect the players as they are not allowed to earn money because of political reasons and it will help develop the young talents as well and so is the reason every player is looking forward to get picked in a team.

When it comes to the management there are some issues and i have seen a talk show where Shoaib Akhtar was a guest and they were talking about how they are developing improving things from the ground, not sure about the real situation but they accepted that they are not able to attract big investors and advertisers like the BCCI.

New Zealand won the first T20 against Pakistan, for most part it was competitive but then New Zealand was able to win.

Whenever the market is rallying you always hear the positive aspects of the market and you will hear from celebrities showing off their investment ideas and we have seen that during the ICO days when some of the celebrities even started promoting scam projects. This celebrity is promoting an application and this is the first time i am hearing about her yet she is not promoting BTCitcoin but an application Wink.

Don’t mistake wealth for respect’: Ramiz Raja reacts to Amir’s retirement
I understand the position Mohammad Amir is taking the decision to retire, may be he is feeling hostility in the dressing room and in his young age he was involved in match fixing when he was on the top of the world as the most promising bowler and after returning to cricket he could not replicate the same level of performance and i do not think that he accumulated that much wealth like the other average player.

In case you are in a live-in relation, then the male partner doesn't have the right to call off the relationship. If he does so, then the female partner has the right to file rape charges against him (here in India it is known as "sex on the false promise of marriage", which comes under rape). So although the physical relation is consensual, the partner may be arrested and sent to jail. Only option for him is to remain in the relation and to marry the female. On the other hand, the female partner can call off the relation whenever she likes. The male partner can't file a complaint against this.
I support equality in each and every aspect rather than picking and choosing  Grin.  Since you choose to say these, the context is important, just yesterday the Delhi high court squashed a case filed by a lady citing rape while they were in a live in relationship for 7 years and married another woman, if there is exploitation or domestic violence then you are in trouble.
2587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 18, 2020, 05:59:22 AM
key Australian players such as Warner are not playing in this match. IMO, it is still 50/50.
Why is Warner not in the team, India is bowling really well and both the openers are back in the pavilion and now their main player Steve Smith is in the crease and the match depends upon how much runs he is going to score and if India is able to pick up his wicket then the match will be in favor of India and if India is able to score a decent second innings total then India has a chance but there is plenty of time in this match and anyone can win from this position.

Good to hear that Cameron Green is cleared to make his debut and i am expecting him to make an impact in the match with either the bat or the ball and he will be a regular in the squad because of his all rounding capability.
Cameron Green is a promising talent and if he is taken care by the Australian board and if he is able to avoid injuries which includes good reflex when the ball is approaching him then he will be a good talent for them Grin. The ball that knocked him in the head, he could have avoided that but instead his reflex failed him.

I am expecting Australia to win the match and it depends whether the pitch will be flat as India have some good fast bowlers and any help from the pitch will be a nightmare for both the teams.
Toss is a major factor as they are playing with the pink ball and the first two hours will be crucial as the bowlers will have an advantage.

^  Just shows that 6 months rest isn't enough after that massive beating he took from Gaethje.  He should've stayed away from the game for at least a year imho.

And how about that Fiziev match vs Moicano.  I think we'll be seeing Fiziev at LW top 10 next year.
Khabib predicted the future of Tony Ferguson and he said he will be loosing when he fights again and he specifically said that Tony is a stupid guy as he is not smart enough and it was evident with the Gaethje fight when he unnecessarily cut weight even when the fight was called off and then returning again withing a short period again and then getting defeating again Grin.
2592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China will bring up the Blockchain Engineering Bachelor. on: December 13, 2020, 09:00:14 PM
They only against bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that they don't control, as we all knew that their government wants to control everything on their country. And their behaviour towards blockchain tech is different from the former, they even built some projects related to blockchain and advancing building blockchain related projects. And making its own cryptocurrency is likely to happen in the future
Do you seriously think that the Chinese government is implementing the blockchain technology and planning to come up with their own version of digital currency to be progressive, they are implementing to have more control over their citizen to monitor each and every transaction.

In short it is their way of having more control over the economy and to monitor every transaction and to have to foothold in the cryptocurrency space.
2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 13, 2020, 07:26:38 PM
This issue of fixed matches has made me changed my attitude towards BOXING games, i regretted betting on the last recent exhibition fight which Tyson won but game was later turned draw, what a mix priority. This game has been my most favorite game so far but becasue of the recent happenings am bent to change my mind toward the game.
You cannot expect a fair judgement in exhibition fights and if some top fighters are doing that then going for a draw is the best bet and rarely you see a draw option in betting sites but Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul could be different as Mayweather will be looking for a win and Logan Paul looking for a lucky punch, i need to look at the rules they will be implementing about the rounds as every rule will be implemented to favor Mayweather.

@eaLiTy. However, after El Cucuy's painful loss in the fight vs. Justin Gaethje, this is giving the fans with more questions in his confidence and his skill. He was not only defeated, he was broken by Justin for the first time in his career.
After the fight the intuitions you had were on spot and i was surprised to see Charles Oliveira completely dominating Tony Ferguson on the feet and on the ground and the ease in which he was able to secure the take downs i wonder what Khabib would have done to Tony and Khabib predicted this when he was interviewed and he said Tony will loose again as the amount of damage he took in the fight against Justin is too much and that is exactly what happened as the fight was completely dominated by Charles Oliveira.
2595  Economy / Speculation / Re: When moon? ($500k / $1 million / $2 million) on: December 13, 2020, 06:30:14 AM
As Bitcoin possibly gears up to try to hit $100k in the next year, and far higher prices seem an almost certainty in the future, I want to know when you think Bitcoin will hit $500k, $1 million and $2 million?
I am yet to dream about impossible targets right now, if you are confident about the price of BTCitcoin reaching those levels then you can hold the coins for a very long time. First i need to take things as it appears and with the way in which the market is performing now we might see the price rallying up to $30k to $40k depending on how much money is pumped into the market.
2596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 13, 2020, 12:03:04 AM
As we know Will Pucovski is in doubt for a call up in the Australian team for the first test match and so could Cameron Green after getting hit in the head from a straight drive shot while bowling so two of Australia's young talent could be out with concussions.
It is a really unfortunate situation to see Will Pucovski and now Cameron Green out for atleast two weeks due to concession and i was really worried about Cameron Green as the ball hit flush in his head and the response by Siraj during that period dropping the bat and running to aide the injured Green was an instant viral sequence in social media.

2597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 12, 2020, 10:36:43 PM
I just watched  the Charles Oliveira vs. Kevin Lee fight and I thought Charles is quite flashy and has some chin as well. It's a pretty good match up for Tony Ferguson but I just don't know if he's good enough to avoid the takedown and submission attempts. I'm likely going to throw $10 at 2.37 for Charles here.
Charles Oliveira and Tony Ferguson always have entertaining fights and if you watched the fight against Kevin Lee who is known for his cardio you always know that he will fade away in the later rounds and that is what culminated to the submission in the third round. Tony Ferguson has stamina for many rounds and it will be a really interesting fight and i am expecting Tony Ferguson to win the fight and then the winner will face the champion and Khabib coming out of retirement for his last fight and i wish it should be Tony Ferguson Smiley.

2598  Economy / Economics / Re: Cause of Covid Vaccine and it's Value on: December 12, 2020, 09:01:49 PM
To reduce the spread of the covid 19 virus, we need a vaccine, and now there are some vaccines ready to be released on the market this coming year 2021.
There is no debate about having a vaccine so that we could go back to normal but the problem is that i am not sure whether the vaccines are properly tested as i never heard about a vaccine that is 100%. Even the the vaccine manufactured by pfizer they claim that it is 95% tested if i remember correctly and i will not risk my life taking the vaccine if it is not 100%. If i am able to sit inside for over ten months inside my house alone then i can wait until we have a conclusive confirmation.
2599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millennials’ impact on the future of digital assets. on: December 12, 2020, 12:15:53 PM
This current bull market is driven by institutional investors, and whomever is in charge of deciding which assets to buy over there is most likely not a millenial. Millenials are highly represented among the retail investors, but Gen X shouldn't be underestimated - they are also quite tech savvy and have more money than millenials.
It is a possibility that the deciding factors for these institutional investment are not from the millennial generation but then again the advisors can be from the millennial generation as it is conceded as people born in 1981 to 1996 if i am not mistaken and if that is the case then it is possible these decisions are taken by them.

I have seen many changes in technology throughout my years and i started with i486 processors when i was a kid and then updating to many changes in the technological space which was literally rapid and we are always updated as we are groomed that way and the new generation will be one step ahead from my generation as i can see the changes in my kids as they are very well aware of the latest gadget and are always updated and if they are interested in finance and investment then they will enter the cryptocurrency space as well.
2600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: December 11, 2020, 06:06:32 PM
I wonder how many forum users will be inspired by the OP's decision to quit smoking by emulating their goal and improving their own (and their families) lifestyles with this important first step.

(will they also buy crypto week-in week-out??)
It is an inspiring story but it is difficult for a regular smoker to quit smoking all of a sudden. I am trying to quit for the past couple of years but the most i can stop is a week and then once i see someone smoking the urge will come again  Cheesy.

@OP it is good to hear that you were able to quit smoking and do something positive and hope it inspires people.
