261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help on: November 11, 2019, 01:39:51 PM
this is my current investments. do u have any suggestion

20k$ = BNB
20k$ = ADA
20k$ = EOS
20k$ = XEM
20k$ = NEO
10k$ = XRP

First I don't think that it is a good idea to sell your house in exchange for your crypto investment. just unbelievable. The unpredictability of the market won't be good to invest in exchange to your shelter. Second is, even though your lists include top cryptocurrencies, disregarding Bitcoin would not be a good long-term investment. just a thought.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: November 10, 2019, 01:19:13 PM
My crypto journey started with just simple research about blockchain technology. I got interested in it and started researching how the technology works and its development. I gained knowledge that blockchain has many facets and that cryptocurrency was one of them. By digging deeper into cryptocurrency, I have learned the opportunities that it can offer through free distribution or paid services. From that moment I been hook following its development.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 10, 2019, 11:12:54 AM
We are saving for a house down payment of 40K.  I don't want to leave it in the bank as there is a old judgement they can take any time so i want to store it in crypto as we grow it over the next 6 months.  Is a stable coin the best option?  Thoughts?

In my opinion, it would be a bad idea to invest money intended for an important purpose in crypto. Promising crypto might be, its market is not that stable and you might end up losing your money. I would suggest you invest only money that you can afford to lose. This way you will not be pressured to sell for a loss if the price sways or fluctuates.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can share your own opinion if you have. on: November 09, 2019, 01:06:43 PM
Firstly thanks to all for reading my topic.

Who has had more success in this crypto market?
1. Traders
2. Investors
You you have any skills? From which you have made enough profit or How much amount you loss??
Welcome to share your skills.

My principle is Buy low and Sell high. But it is not easy as just saying it. You should develop skills in reading market trends. Timing is very important in the crypto market. Selling and buying are the right time need skills. So you must first develop that skils in predicting the market price. Start trading low first until your confidence develops and slowly increase as you become aware of all the factors involved in trading.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Makes a Successful Crypto on: November 09, 2019, 12:28:29 PM
There are 3 components that every good crypto project continues to improve on

1) Technical capabilities & Delivering on Technical goals
2) Marketing, Community and Adoption
3) Integration, Partnerships, Usability and Company Structure

From these 3 distinct categories, there's a whole infrastructure and sub-categories that can be stemmed. Ultimately, there are teams who solely focus on 1/3 areas and neglect the others; this is ultimately what we call shitcoins. Most top 50-100 coins have at least captured 2/3 of these areas, with only a select handful of gems attaining or about to attain all 3 levels of success.

Ultimately, every project I see can be defined by these basic and generic overview of essential capabilities I view. Again, I want to stress there are several areas to emphasize within these categories there are numerous of sub-categories, such as legality, financials, revenue, market share, competition and a whole host of other factors that make up any successful business

I agree with you on this. Crypto projects should have these essential components to succeed in a very crowded market. Partnership and alliances with stable organizations, personalities, and stable companies in crypto space would also greatly contribute to the success of a crypto project starting in the market.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: November 07, 2019, 01:51:07 PM
The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.

Although the creation of new altcoins saturates the already crowded market and creating more confusion for adoptors, I think they all aids in the development of blockchain technology. I think these new ones will not affect the already established altcoins like eth, xrp, etc. as they already have their niche in the market. They will just give more competition to others that struggle to make it big but I think competition is good to users.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash Price Prediction 2020 on: November 07, 2019, 12:26:12 PM
Bitcoin Cash, the first Bitcoin fork and I think one of the more successful forks is remaining steady in its market price. But eventhough it's in the uptrend right now, its price is still lower than its 1st quarter price of this year. I still believe that BCH price will pump in the coming years. I have acquired BCH during the time its price was still high and still hodling them until now. I still believe in the long term potential of the platform.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big prize for 1 participant in a signature campaign? on: November 06, 2019, 03:41:31 PM
for example: prize allocation for a campaign (signature) is around 2,000,000 tokens and if the project only has 1 participant in the campaign (signature) and when the project has been completed or not scammed, is it true that the participant will get the sum of all tokens (signatures)?
or maybe not at all,  for other reasons?

Normally the allocated stakes would be divided to participants which would mean more coins for them. But in reality, bounty managers re-proportionate the rewards to smaller portion and add the remaining to other bounty campaigns which are joined by many participants. I have experience joining a signature campaign which only a few joined and the manager decreased the total rewards and added it to their social media campaign which has many participants.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still hodl? Then we go to you! on: November 06, 2019, 01:44:30 PM
Do you still hold coins and wait for them to grow?
I trade every day and make a profit. I can make a few in one day. For a month, it turns out about 100%
Why sit and hodl coin?

I am still hodling most of my coins. I don't know but I still believe that crypto will bounce back and the bullrun season will come again. Especially with the schedule bitcoin halving next year, I am confident that crypto will pump again just like the previous halving where we experience the biggest BTC price.
Though, I also learned to trade from time to time. Given me also big rewards from my assets.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot Altcoins on: November 05, 2019, 01:51:20 PM
Besides BTC, there are thousands of altcoins. Everyday there are new currencies.

Other than top 20 currencies, what are hot and profitable currencies you think?

Do you think that fresh new currencies are always profitable?

But I don't have so many accounts in various exchanges to buy these altcoins. To be have verified accounts in many exchanges is difficult for me.

I have also been researching what crypto to invest right now aside from Bitcoin and Ethereum. I have been visiting crypto forum websites and youtube channels and common among them is LINK, RVN, MATIC, ZRX, and some others. Looking at coinmarket for the movement of the listed coins indeed I see some bull pattern. These coins also have good technologies and team behind them. Try to check it out how.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: list top 10 exchange in the market on: November 05, 2019, 12:51:22 PM
What is the top 10 exchanges which all the investors trust it?

Most crypto forums, chatgroups, IEO, or projects always want to list their coin on Binance. It has been the go-to exchange for crypto who wants to make a big impact. But I think there are many exchanges that offer better features and lesser fees than Binance but do not have the market presence. For lists of top exchanges, I always refer to coinmarketcap's ranking according to recorded or adjusted volumes lists in here: https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: November 05, 2019, 04:45:04 AM
I have been in the crypto world since a long time but i have not been able to make my portfolio and never earned anything...i dont have much cash that i can buy many different coins....i have only 0.01 btc right now Embarrassed
Please tell me ways if there are any to earn some different types of altcoins to slowly build up my portfolio with some valuable coins...

If you are patient and knows how to spot legitimate projects, bounty campaigns will give you a good amount of rewards if you are persevering to do most of the available tasks. I started from bounty and since have somehow amassed quite a good amount of different cryptos. From there you can start trading to make your assets or hodlings bigger. best of luck!
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 05, 2019, 04:21:59 AM
To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you

I have joined a bounty project in the past that extended their campaign for another 6 months. A social bounty campaign. Even though frustrated with the announcement, I continued doing tasks because somewhat I believe in the project and trust the bounty manager. More than half of the participants left the campaign which I think is good cause only a few would divide the stakes. After the extended campaign, the release of stakes took more months that I forgot about it.
Boy Im glad I continued. Because my perseverance bore fruit. Got big stakes because only a few divided the stakes and the coin has big value when released in the market has big value.
One of my biggest and rewarding bounty campaign so far.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: October 22, 2019, 02:55:32 PM
What you think more profit, participate in IEO or wait after IEO and buy the token from exchanges?

If you are a risk taker, investing in IEO would give higher returns as during this stage, price of tokens are very cheap  and discounted. But be sure you are investing in a legitimate project or youll end up having coins that are of no use when these does not reach exchanges. Investing after it hit exchanges is a secure process as you have idea how the coin will hold in the market. At early listing period, normally these coins are cheap so its worth investing during that time.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: October 20, 2019, 03:32:56 PM
Quit underestimating wallets and figure out how your wallets works either its ETH erc20 based wallets or multi walllets, you lose your private keys or recovery seeds you lose your coins and tokens,I was in a gathering on message when somebody posted his private key guaranteeing he didn't get an airdrop tokens,I wonder what may have transpired as of now,its like some still don't have the foggiest idea how genuine there wallets recovery seeds and private keys are, quit playing with wallet private keys and take them more serious like you doing with your bank account.

I don't how can someone expose their private key. It is like your are opening your gate for scammers to pillage your assets. Im sure these are newbies trying to learn the ins and outs of the crypto space. Feel sorry for them to loss their assets that way.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott ICO's ? on: October 19, 2019, 03:18:07 PM
Most of us have been through this sad phase of life wherein we have wasted our precious time spanning to months on scam projects wherein the either the project turns out to be a scam or else the developers refrain from distributing the tokens to the bounty hunters for first few months after launch and by the time we receive it the value of token is negligible. Should bounty hunters boycott the ICO's and look for alternatives?

Gone are the days that where investors can trust ICO. Those days ICO was a think and I have experienced investing in many of them before. But sad to say right now it has been a venue of many scammers to deceive people of their money. They are killing the industry that used to give lots of opportunities to many.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 17, 2019, 09:54:04 PM
Before now, I have always been getting it wrong about cryptocurrency. A friend recently opened my eyes to see how I could have increase little coins I have to fortune overtime by day-trading. But I am no that type. I had always thought I could only make fortune in crypto by hodling a certain coin for long.

13 months ago, I bought SNTR worth about $100 hoping that in few months I'll wallow in milliions of dollars like Ian Balina , but the reverse is often the case in the subsequent ones I bought. Sad fact, $100 worth of SNTR 13 months ago now less than $2.

Recently, I watched several videos of how to analyse a coin or token to invest in, gained some good knowledge of the basics. I discovered day-trading tokens like DX token and Atomic wallet (AWC) could have actually make me what I hope to be If i had the right information. But its never too late. Yet, I am drowned in mentality that hodling for long can only be the fortune I hope for. Reason I need help.

If you have time to monitor your assets regularly, day trading would be a good way to earn. Study how the market fluctuates so you will know when to buy or sell. Prices could spike instantly so timing is important. If you have amass a good amount of crypto, long-term hodl is good also. Just be sure it is a coin that has long term potential also.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 15, 2019, 03:33:15 PM
Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

I think you got all those points right. For the one thing why people get scammed is that they want to get easy money. Thinking that their investment would jump right away. So they try investing without even studying properly the project.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Came Back After a Year on: October 15, 2019, 03:17:44 PM
Hey, Guys, I am jak3, I came back after 1year. (i barely visited this forum in this 1year) but I remember when I left this forum there was a lot of bitcoin campaigns and a lot of discussion topics. But nowadays people are only talking about altcoins. Can you guys tell me what I am missing till now or what exactly did happen under this 1year? I do have some idea about merits thought. Hope I can get a grip back into the discussions.

Well, the market is a bit better now than on the bearish period same time last year. In terms of market dominance, Bitcoin still leads the pack and is expected to continue to do so. ICOs are losing to IEO in terms of investors interest and there are just too many altcoins that come and go. The markets more interesting now.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Harsh Reality About The Current ICO Project on: October 15, 2019, 03:12:01 PM
I feel cheated ... but the fact that every project that promises or claims tokens will eventually increase at a very high price is just nonsense ...
in a statement on the road map they promised to use project funds for further product development, but they were only trying to take advantage of the investors' black money ...
what they have to do is develop their product further, not just start doing it or say all the sweet promises ...

maybe it's one of the things they have to reconsider, if their project wants to be successful and the project product can be sold out in the market ...
I hope I'm not mistaken about this.

I think that is why it is important that we should look deeply and carefully about the ICO project that we feel like investing. If I feel that the ICO gives too much promises, I right away doubt about its authenticity. one should be really be careful else end up being deceived and losing money.
