Stellar is gonna be big.

Seeing some ppl here comparing STR to DOGE is pretty funny when you know the difference
262  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRCDice.eu + REFERRAL BONUS + provably fair + Leaderboards +INVEST + PLAY + CHAT on: September 19, 2014, 08:00:28 AM
I browsed through the bets and rolls between those ID's, and none of them had the roll 70.6362 or a bet by Loidy.

That quite the allegation. Do you suspect foul play or further incompetent coding?

I happened upon the PRC dice chat earlier today only to find the usual suspects in there talking behind my back about how I shouldn't be trusted, that I'm "just a troll", senile, stupid, and idiot, etc. etc.

I tried engaging them, but it's almost impossible. They avoided almost all of my points and ended up muting me without reason.

I guess I won't attempt to engage them any more. Just be careful with PRCdice - their tech is crap and their manners are worse.

Poor Dooglus, you are scared by trolls now ?

Why are you all after dooglus?

What I can see he is the most trusted person in a not trustworthy bitcoin world.

Then when he points out some obvious problems in a bitcoin dice people act bad why?

I think dooglus ask some very legit questions that should be taken serously.

How long have prcdice existed?
Yeah that's right LONGER than even JD did, so I find it scary that they still havent got the freaking code to work, its not like its the most advanced site ever build.

The concept are actually quite simple.

This smells bad.

I'm not after Dooglus. He just act like he's scared by 3 anons who obviously trolled him in a chat (btw a chat is the best place to solve a bug and is full of competent devs !) ... and his conclusion is : "I guess I won't attempt to engage them any more. Just be careful with PRCdice - their tech is crap and their manners are worse."

Great logic !

I don't know what any of that tells us, other than that the coins Mateo just lost seem to have been withdrawn from DB and redeposited without being used for anything in between.

Edit: I should point out that each of these transactions is a child of the one before it; they form a chain. Each (other than the first) has just one input, so you can follow the chain back from the last to the first.

The fact that the entire withdraw was untouched and sent back in its entirety should be a flag imho.

This site has more red flags than Tiananmen Square

I see two intelligent and so far honest site owners. Maybe too much ego here and there.

Why people can't talk to each other ?

While AK miner was betting last night, the total investment went from around 740 to 800 something BTC. And this was when the profits went from 65 BTC to 55 BTC, if the profit was not spread to the investors evenly and this happened. It would mean, they would be getting a smaller amount.

I don't gather stats very often - usually just once per day - so it's hard to tell what happened.

Here's what I have though:

Sun Sep 14 09:46:02 PDT 2014    Total Bets:8,481,494    Total Wagered:20,961.26123047        Total Profit: 43.45820931        Total Invested:693.96138399
Mon Sep 15 08:31:18 PDT 2014    Total Bets:8,623,039    Total Wagered:21,650.00383396        Total Profit:  0.18380911        Total Invested:725.80908230
Tue Sep 16 11:35:59 PDT 2014    Total Bets:8,801,497    Total Wagered:24,044.02811243        Total Profit:-56.28617105        Total Invested:774.09619051
Wed Sep 17 07:41:32 PDT 2014    Pocket Rockets Casino is offline temporarily while updates are being made.

From Sun to Mon, profit went DOWN by 43 while investment went UP by 32.
From Mon to Tue, profit went DOWN by 56 while investment went UP by 49.

It could be people see the house losing and (incorrectly) figure that means it is due for a win, and so invest more. Or it could be due to the bug that Dean is looking into.

Edit: I should say that it's quite normal for "invested" to stay the same while profit goes up or down because often the losses come from an investor divesting and playing, and winnings are often invested back into the house. So we shouldn't expect to see the bankroll drop just because the site profit dropped - unless we know that the winning player didn't reinvest his profits.

268  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 4 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX on: September 17, 2014, 10:49:51 AM
Today's ScryptX dividend: 0.00007681/share

I suspect next dividend will be closer to 5500-6000 tops.  Road to nowhere and in a hurry.

This is one of the reasons I don't understand how the majority of shareholders voted to keep the reinvestment fund and to wait for opportunities... Unless those opportunities are to buy lottery tickets, I can't see how to get out of this.
Anyway, on the topic of "cryptx faking the survey results", it could help to see a masked list of voters. Cryptx just remove the usernames but show us a screenshot please. I'm sure that if you faked it, you can also fake a photoshopped result... right?

IDK, based on the level of discussion over here, I woudn't be surprised that the vote was genuinely in favor of reinvesting...

But good news, we're mining shitcoins now !

271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: September 15, 2014, 10:48:17 PM
I will hold till the moon.
Today is bouncing?

I am also holding since first day, no interest on selling because I did not paid for that.

I dont think STR price will ever go back up over 1k anymore, with a total of coins of more than 100 billions, current price of STR is considered overpriced compared to dogecoin (doge has more or less same amount of coins)

Except that at the moment, there are only a bit more than 1 Billion coins in circulation.

And the comparaison with DOGE is irrelevant.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storj - Decentralized Storage on: September 15, 2014, 03:35:08 PM
I am not sure that is smart to dump all your SCJX holdings now, price is taking off slowly...

It's never dumb to take your profit when you've doubled your initial investment.

275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SWARM] Swarm - Cryptoequity Crowdfunding - Official Thread on: September 15, 2014, 10:57:17 AM
Do you plan to add SWARM to a centralized exchange ? Because Counterparty exchange lacks of liquidity and it would be nice to let the market discover the price of SWARM.

It's been on my agenda for a long time and really any exchange could integrate SWARM at any point, but so far we've had limited successes in communication with exchanges. Anyone who wants to provide contacts at any of the main ones, would be much appreciated.

Try contacting melotic. They've intergrated XCP and SJCX, and they handle counterparty assets depostis and withdrawals quite fast. They lack volume on other coins so they might be intrested in having the exclusivity on an asset.

I've invested to the ipo how can i get my coins and trade on poloniex?

Send the coins with counterwallet to the deposit address on poloniex (or melotic if there are buy orders)
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: September 15, 2014, 10:16:29 AM
Luke-jr and maybe some other bitcoin devs is like little kids who don't want play together with neighbor house kids in their sandbox, but there is coming day when they grow up and ask XCP and MSC join to play same game   Cheesy Thats why there no need other chains.  But that is just normal because neighbors kids have bigger trucks and other toys and they have only sandbox.

That's why he has "Jr." in his name Smiley

Luke filters out XCP,  MSC, etc. transactions and I don't think he's gonna change his mind soon. The only thing is that Eligius pool share is shrinking (from more than 10% to 5% in 12 months) and his opinion & influence will soon be insignificant
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: September 13, 2014, 02:50:15 PM
I sold all coin, and now price going to sky, not good for me.

If you made a profit, it's good already

Just buy back some coins with the profit made and you can't lose
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SWARM] Swarm - Cryptoequity Crowdfunding - Official Thread on: September 12, 2014, 05:37:07 PM
So whats next? I see the Comic book (VERY COOL) But what about the software?

Big announcement coming on Tuesday of next week.

nice.

280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NXT] Decentralized Asset Exchange Discussion Thread on: September 12, 2014, 01:12:43 PM
Would be nice to have those dividends flagged somehow to give some clarity, but I guess it's on the roadmap of the future NXT improvements.

They are working on AE v2 with improvements, hopefully we'll see more bells and whistles soon Smiley
*

It's probably not the place to say this but a assets transaction history (with the price and quantity paid) would be nice too. Although nxtreporting is somehow doing that already
