Any news regarding the solo cluster pool? Will it ever be back?

Why did I use this pool (https://cryptoknight.cc/stellite/)to mining, but but the local wallet( the address: Se4KbZXsh6wgHwpHPFQZNqEFQbwzBwseaZf5Evfi4ucv9o29Wp6zcXMWxxyqpNma1VeWgUHncCzno1u 9qTcAAAzA1XB2sRYLv) did not receive payment.  Angry
This is the only pool I ever used for XTL and I never had any problems with it. Is the payment listed on your stats page (on the bottom)? Is your address correct? If so, maybe your wallet isn't fully synced.

Edit: Ah well, so now I tried REMOVING RAH from the machine where I attached WCG, then updating WCG. As a result this has now correctly inserted my desired CPID into the field "external_cpid" in the XML file. Now I will wait until this also shows up on the WCG web page/profile; on the other machine the "external_cpid" is still empty...

Glad you got it figured out. Adding WCG and waiting a day worked for me. I've read either the oldest CPID wins, and sometimes I read the one with the most work. I tend to think it is the oldest CPID that wins. For me, it was always just adding WCG project to an existing BOINC client with R@H already working. Strange you had to do all this XML business.

Thanks, now the correct CPID finally made it to the WCG web page. However I'm not quite sure what the cause of this was. I realized another mistake(?) I made, which I corrected maybe an hour before the CPID was adjusted:
For every new machine attaching to Rosetta I always used the "weak account key" and it worked perfectly. That's why I also did this with WCG. But perhaps with the weak key it cannot adjust the CPID correctly, so I removed WCG from one of the machines and added it with the "strong" key and then updated again.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay | Masternodes | Sanctuaries | POBH - ASIC Resistant | 10% ORPHANS on: May 17, 2018, 08:55:15 PM
I have a question regarding WCG. Since R@H still doesn't work properly on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS I created a WCG account under the exact same e-mail address I use for Rosetta. Unfortunately the CPID for WCG does NOT match my current CPID.

If you want the Rosetta@Home CPID (the older CPID) to transfer to the WCG CPID, you have to run both projects on BOINC. This way, they know that the older CPID should apply to the WCG. Usually, it only takes a few hours for the update to occur. This is from the BOINC GUI, I'm not sure if the boinccmd (command line version on Linux) knows if other project's CPID should be changed.

Thx, that's what I'm currently doing right now, let's see how things work out. Wink
Additionally I copied my desired CPID to the "external_cpid" field in client_state.xml (as described here: https://steemit.com/gridcoin/@dutch/the-definitive-guide-to-fixing-a-split-cpid-gridcoin-s-and-boinc-s-1-problem). Not sure if this is gonna help^^.

On a completely unrelated note: I think someone found a way to crunch Rosetta tasks with GPUs. This user: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/hosts_user.php?sort=expavg_credit&rev=0&show_all=0&userid=1994560 has machines with completely ridiculous CPUs but sporting 6 AMD cards. His best machine is currently at a whopping 19k RAC, which most certainly does not hail from the single Celeron G1620.  Cool

I read that split cpids article but I think they overcomplicated the issue.  (Ive had a lot of servers in the past running various boinc projects and sold a lot of these) and it all really boils down to correcting the e-mail address and worst case scenario:  Running RAH first, unmounting WCG and re-mounting WCG.  Ive never seen the need to actually edit the XML file, wcg does the heavy lifting in the background.

Well, I tried various things (updating projects, unmouting/mounting WCG, changing user name to the exact same, connecting to WCG on a second machine and solving some jobs there (while simultaneously running RAH) but after more than a day WCG has not changed my CPID (yet). Anything else I could try? Or should I maybe just wait another day?
I just checked the email hash; it's the same for both projects...

Now I associated WCG on ONE machine and it currently solves a couple of tasks. As Rob wrote on #5953 this issue should solve itself within a day or so.
Now my question: is a matching email the only requirement for this automatic fix? Since my current user name for R@H was already taken I chose a different one for WCG. Is this a problem? In that case I would simply change BOTH user names to a (third) user name that is not taken on any of the projects. Regarding that: will changing the user name affect my payout/BBP association?

My VPS with my running win wallet had maintenance yesterday. Before that I switched off the wallet. Today after maintenance was finished I started wallet again. What a surprise, I see again 0 active peers connection :-) :-) once again. After resync same, after deleting all appropriate files and restart and resync same.

Result: I dont have a words for this... again.

Sounds to me like a network/firewall issue rather than an issue of the wallet. I have several wallets (Win 7, Win 10, Ubuntu etc.) running and I regularly close and restart them and never had any problem with not finding peers.
The only time I experienced this exact same problem was when I had my laptop in a university network. There the wallet couldn't establish any peer connection.

P.S.: I don't have any "addnode=" lines whatsoever in my configs...

Thanks for answer dave. I was thinking about some firewall issue. I switched the firewall off completely but with the same result. I dont expect that VPS service provider blocked some network ports or something like that during maintenance.

dave_bbp sometimes it's better just sleep a little bit :-) today morning (Central Europe) is everything running ok without problem.
Haha, nice to hear that. Reminds me of Psalm 127:2. Cheesy

"OUT_TX (05-12-2018 07:09:54) (05-12-2018 07:09:54)": "You have 70% UTXO. Did you consider using less CPUs for PoDC and use some for PoBH or even another altcoin? Seems a pity RAC is only getting you to 70% reward of your staked coin."

Whoever put this prayer in should be ashamed of themselves.  This platform is for prayers not for serving Mammon.

If we have another case of abuse we will need to lock it down.

Ah well that was solved easily...
I already wondered when this feature would have been added. Now it's also clear why the English in that "hint" was so weird.

On another note: Has anyone tried Rosetta@home on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS yet? I installed it on one machine of mine just to check it out, but weirdly the jobs constantly crash right at the start. As soon as the project is added it downloads the tasks, starts computing and immediately stops with "computation error", then deletes them, downloads new tasks, crashes them and so on...

I could duplicate this behavior on another machine (rented) which works perfectly with Ubuntu 16.04.  Huh

My windows controller wallet currently says the following in the hint section:
Quote
You have 70% UTXO. Did you consider using less CPUs for PoDC and use some for PoBH or even another altcoin? Seems a pity RAC is only getting you to 70% reward of your staked coin.

1. This is not true. I am pretty sure I'm always right on the edge of getting 100% reward (I currently stake ~940k BBP for a RAC of ~51k). How does the wallet get the 70%? My exec totalrac gives a target of 1.12M BBP. This multiplied by 0.7 would result in 780k BBP and is still far from my stake balance.

2. The phrase "XX% reward of your staked coin" sounds very confusing. While in general this hint is certainly a good idea, I think it would be better rephrased to something like "for your staked coin" or "dependant on your staked coin". Wink

Guys,
Again a question...

Why from a couple of day my "Task weight" is at 0 ?

This Just at pool.biblepay.org and on biblepay central...

In the wallet is at 100 below the proof..

It's not just yours, it's everyones's and it's nothing to worry about, since the payments are unaffected. It's probably just a silly bug in the data collected from BOINC/Rosetta...

I don't know if it's only me or it's a general problem

Edit: it only happens in the windows qt wallets. In the masternode it shows properly.
PODCupdate works for me (windows qt) but the testvote doesn't work either. Could this be related to the fact that (at least on the pool page) EVERYBODY has a task weight of 0? oO

Funny, I did get payed on last superblock:

Did you really? Is the PODC payment transaction in your wallet (as immature balance)? The biblepay-central page only calculates magnitude/1000*(total PODC payment). While this is in general quite a good approximation it doesn't really account for the coins you actually received. Wink

I still keep getting CPID_HAS_NO_MAGNITUDE at the pool. My wallet has magnitude.
I have re associated my wallet to R@H.
I have issued a exec podcupdate true

I'm not exactly sure but I think - since your last superblock payment was 0 - you have to wait until after the next superblock (PODC payment), which is 44895. Again it's strange that your getboincinfo shows mag>0, but payment 0.  Undecided
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay | Masternodes | Sanctuaries | POBH - ASIC Resistant | 10% ORPHANS on: May 05, 2018, 04:00:59 PM

Yes I did set up a second wallet according to biblepay-central.org instructions.
It says that you can POW mine with multiple wallets. Just copy wallet.dat and add utxooverride=-1 to the config.
So if I understand correctly that is not the case?
Oh well... better disable the second wallet and hope things return to normal.

Yes, this is definitely possible (I'm currently using that method myself). However you have to remember that your second wallet (the one that you copy to all your POW miners) also has to be connected to a (different) CPID which has to solve some BOINC jobs. Otherwise that won't work.

oO What happened to the main pool? The leaderboard is completely wiped out, no-one is mining anything apparently. Shocked

So, this didn't go as planned....
I get two error messages on the leaderboard, CPID_HAS_NO_MAGNITUDE and CPID_SIGNATURE_INVALID
Also, all the hash is reported as errernous work.

Wait a minute, so you do have 2 different wallets, one for PODC and one for POW? In order to heat mine you have to have mag>1 on the very wallet you want to do POW with, otherwise it won't work. Additionally this wallet has to be unlocked.

Furthermore the main problem is that your last superblock payment was 0, therefore your current mag is 0 and you are not "allowed" to heat mine. This is an issue that has been discussed here before and I too am not happy with it, but it is how it is.

So the question would rather be why you didn't get paid yesterday. Your UTXOweight seems ok to receive some payment. Please check your wallet for the last PODCupdate transactions and whether there was a large gap (>24h) inbetween them. I see you also use WCG. Unfortunately I have no idea how this comes into play since I haven't used it yet, maybe someone else can find an error there. Wink

hello people.  small note to apologise for the cluster being stupid lately.  this has been tracked down to someone being upset with the cluster and sending a lot of traffic to disrupt things. ddos anyone ?

im going to change the firewall in a while and hopefully this should fix the interruptions.  it would also be nice if we could get the miners to auto reconnect but it seems this is a feature they dont have.

So how's the cluster trouble shooting going? I just checked and I still cannot connect.

There is a new upcoming exchange where you can vote for Coins. I submitted a voting for BiblePay, if you also want to vote, here you go:
http://quantadex.com/vote/414/biblepay

I think you have to register to upvote, so if you don't mind, please register using this link (25$ gift for new users + 10$ for me as referral bonus):
https://quantadex.com/?ID=r1kgkRqa8OoZ

And please don't forget to leave a comment explaining why BBP is awesome etc. Smiley

...just a quick reminder to vote for BBP on that new exchange. There's  a lot of scam and BS-coins being voted on there, so it really would be a shame if we - being as legit as can be - could not run ahead. Wink

I need a little advice:

I have set up a second wallet to make it heatmine to pool.biblepay.org
But it does not seem to get going.
What I've done:
Added a new worker to pool.biblepay.org
Downloaded and installed the wallet on the second machine.
Copied the wallet.dat and biblepay.conf from the main wallet.
Added to biblepay.conf: utxooverride=-1
Modified worker in biblepay.conf
Started the wallet and synced.

What am I missing? Please advice.

You have a wrong edit/typo in your config:
pool_url": "http://pool.biblepay.org\rutxooverride=-1

Did you edit the config on windows and copy it to Linux? Obviously this line should end with *.org and after a line break the new line should start with utxo...

Other than that you should be good to go. If you use the Linux version on the second PC don't forget to unlock the wallet!
