261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Island on: May 16, 2012, 09:02:16 PM
Bitcoin will be used on the island,

And how would that work exactly? You know.. internet? Im guessing the nearest cell tower is a bit far.
I thought the same thing.  No Internet at all there = bummer.  Would have to somehow do a bi-directional sattelite setup and those SUCK.

263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dwolla changes TOS to prohibit Bitcoin transactions? on: May 16, 2012, 08:37:18 PM
Oh so this is why my withdrawal didn't go through Monday.  I had to accept that TOS.  I saw some areas in it that were somewhat gray on blocking Bitcoin related transactions, but I thought "meh, it will probably still work".  Well, all I have done so far now is send a ticket to MtGox.  My money is in La La land right now, grrr.

It puts an "A" marker in the middle of the ocean, the green arrow is what you wanna zoom in on.

Wouldn't you have to be a Nicaraguan citizen to buy that?  Are you prepared to live in Nicaragua?  There's good cigar tobacco down there, that's all I know haha.

Yeah very interactive, he had like a storyboard or something of videos that he could choose to play when somebody asked for something.  The somewhat seamless transition was really cool, it looked like the video cut out or something and boom she was doing what you asked.  It was hilarious.
267  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: options for leverage on: May 15, 2012, 05:33:00 PM
win win. I will mine and sell until it is no longer worth it and move on.

Maybe buy shares of mining companies instead of selling, so u can mine while u mine. Yo dawg.
That's what I'm doing, and the dividends are fantastic.

Lot of action today on the site.  I would say this website has been a success so far.

Also, the scammer that injected fake video loops and got about $15 worth of BTC was quite entertaining.

Converting to HTML5 would be a good idea.  It would remove almost all dependencies besides a modern browser.  Youtube is already half HTML5 if you turn it on in your options.  Works great for me.

Is there a way to use bitcoin to pay for Adult Friend Finder subscription?
I heard that most "adult" dating sites are scams with mostly fake woman profiles put there by the management of the site to lure man into paying and then when you sign-up and pay you realize there are very little real people there, its just all fakes to make you think the site is big?
Bingo.  Don't ask me how I know.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] "Chaturbate" For Bitcoins Camming Site on: May 14, 2012, 05:09:43 PM
I'm not sure we need another bitcoin camwhore site yet.  The first one barely has two performers.

I know I'm a bit late on this...but HOLY DIVIDEND BATMAN!  This is officially more profitable for me than trying to day trade a flat market.  Thank you amazingrando.
275  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: AMD Catalyst 12.4 Released today. Thoughts? on: May 04, 2012, 12:23:07 AM
12.4 drivers FUCKED ME OFFLINE for two days... Nothing good comes from them, Just wait for 12.5
I've seen you QQ and bash 12.4 in about 10 different threads.  I'm mining on 12.4 (read: OpenCL 923.1), with a 7970 (and some 5830's), on Windows 8 -- which is supposed to not work at all.  Guess what?  It's been rock stable and faster than ever.  Also, 12.5 is already out, leaked beta downloads everywhere.
276  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: AMD Catalyst 12.4 Released today. Thoughts? on: May 03, 2012, 05:45:36 AM
After months of seeing threads like this where a new driver version comes out and people report horrible performance decreases, I have to say that I have never experienced the same.  For one, in the cgminer documentation it tells you to delete the *.bin file after every driver update or cgminer update.  I'm suspecting most people don't do that and report bad numbers, even the people who say "YEAH I DELETED THE KERNEL BIN FILES!".  Reminds me of people who call me at the help desk and go "YEAH, I RESTARTED 62 TIMES, STILL DOESN'T WORK!" and then you reboot their computer once and *magically* everything is working again.

The other thing I have to note is that I have found that driver versions don't mean shit when it comes to performance mining.  What really matters is the OpenCL DLL versions.  I don't care if you have Catalyst 1.1 or Catalyst 200,000,000.11923456.  What is your OpenCL DLL version?

I can tell you that I am running the OpenCL version that people are reporting in this thread on 2 5830's and a 7970 and my performance is exactly the same as 10 driver versions and 3 OpenCL versions before that.  If you were to believe everyone who says that each new driver release decreases performance, we would all be mining at 1MH/s by now.

Woohoo!  I'm finally connecting to GPUMAX with cgminer!  However, the website stopped working right now, lol.  Just in case you weren't aware I am getting:

Can we get the Queen of Bitcoin (BTC tat on her coochie) on the camming site?
Oh I forgot about her!  What has she been doing?

280  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hardware issue with ASUS Striker II NSE POST pulse 5830s on: May 01, 2012, 06:19:57 PM
I had a Core2Duo setup mining away until I was super drunk and spilled my soda all over the motherboard and fried it.  I looked for a replacement motherboard and yeah there was nothing.  There were some listings for like $400 because the supply is literally gone.  I ended up having to re-build with a Sandy Bridge, ASUS P6z68-v/gen3, DDR3, etc.  I feel your pain.
