I AM at post.office on alt account. Give  me an hour I will post photos. I will figure price. Never pay me on this account.  Just the main one.
262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will NEVER reach it's ATH anymore. on: July 21, 2020, 05:53:52 PM
In order for btc to continue you need miners.

The definition is btc is created by conversion of power into coins.

Maintenance of miners profits is done by

gears cost
Gears watt to th ratio
Coin cost or going price
Difficulty of mining.

All of the above must be there and somewhat in balance.

They got way out of balance in dec 2017
Coin price was too high or difficulty was too low.
Or maybe both.

At the moment the balance is pretty close to correct.

So expect a large shift to toss it out of balance again.
263  Other / Meta / Re: Can moderators see where was a post reported? on: July 21, 2020, 05:31:42 PM
I reported that thread. Very likely faster then mikeywith did.

It does let me know that can happen to you.

I HAVE had a 220 report streak end a month ago. My stats were 99% and I got a bad report. The thread I reported was moved. So I think it happens some times. At least i know why.

Thanks for the thread.
264  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: BTC the reason of keeping small block size. on: July 20, 2020, 07:48:25 PM
I disagree a bit on what you need for a proper node. HAVING done a lot of testing kn fullsized blockchain downloads this month. I decent node needs a good internet connection. Since a crash and burn event means eight to nine hours to synch a full blockchain if you have 100mbps connection
265  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] 0.045 btc [N] PayPal at preev 1:1 on: July 20, 2020, 07:35:24 PM
As stated in the title, I have 0.045BTC and need PayPal funds at preev 1:1.  I can sell less than the full amount if you don't need that much.

I will not send first unless you have significant green trust or if I've done business with you before.

This will be a neutral feedback transaction.

Send me a PM if you're willing to help me out, as I might miss seeing this thread if you post here.

Local rule:  Please do not post here unless you're interested in doing this deal.  PayPal is very risky because of the chance of chargebacks, but I have never done this and won't ever.  Also, I won't deal with anyone under Full Member unless they're willing to send first.
can you wait for an hour or two I am on my cellphone and won't get to my main account until an hour or two
266  Other / Meta / Re: Security risk for more than 7300 bitcointalk users? on: July 20, 2020, 06:47:43 PM
It only contains the telegram name and Eth address.

Even the telegram name and the ETH address are random or fake in the below quoted spreadsheet. I can see my name is included in this spreadsheet, but the ETH address and telegram ID is never seen by me before, I mean it's not mine. The telegram id doesn't exist at all.

Brings up an interesting point.  You could get you btctalk id attached to an eth address holding 1000 eth coins.  You know you have nothing to do with it. But a tax authority could try to tax you on it.  In the usa the burden of proof for income is on the government. I wonder if we will hear about  this in the near future. I WOULD THINK that your forum name on a list is not proof of income.

I like the five legged cat. I smiled so thank you.
268  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: It is 2020 time for a new diff thread. on: July 10, 2020, 05:47:24 PM
Yeah I am impressed by levels. I THOUGHT we would move slower
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Bitcoin hits $ 100,000 after halving, Litecoin may be worth $ 3,000 based on on: June 30, 2020, 06:29:43 PM
Then I will be a very happy man indeed if 1 LTC = 3000$!

I have dreamt of this scenario a lot but actually to a much lower scale of 1000. Which is why I always aimed to have at least 10 LTC (not yet achieved) and 5 ETH (even less achieved) right after I get my 1 BTC (almost half achieved).

That's pretty much awesome mate, possibly if bullrun comes we might see $3k per LTC. For now it remains a big dreams for all of us, and waiting is really a biggest challenge that we'll going to face meanwhile. Always keep your coins at safe storage and avoid any sort of panic decisions, because you might regret in the end if you lost it all for nothing; choose to hold rather than being an early seller.
I think people are greatly overestimating the profits that LTC can produce, if bitcoin were to bull run now and reach 100k that will be an 11.11x increase in its price but in order for LTC to reach 3k from its current price of 41 dollars that will be a 73.17x increase, do you really think that litecoin is going to grow so much especially when investors are more aware of the limitations of altcoins? If anything I will be surprised if LTC can keep up with bitcoin during the next bull run.
Good common sense. NO reason for Ltc to jump 70x and btc to jump 11x.

More likely btc hits 20-30k and ltc hits 400-500 usd.

BTW

here is  free advice for any believer in LTC.   Doge will rise it is at $0.0023

I see it going to 0.01 by 2021.

I hold over 400,000 Doge coins I hope to get to 1,000,000 doge by 2021
270  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: It is 2020 time for a new diff thread. on: June 30, 2020, 06:18:07 PM
So it took around 14 days and 2 minutes which is really close to zero or down it may be the closest ever to zero
271  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer T9+ Low hashrate problem!!! on: June 20, 2020, 11:28:03 AM

272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC empty blocks (2011 - 1 May 2020): miners, size, daily, monthly,yearly stats. on: May 06, 2020, 03:16:03 AM
<...>

Very clear and concise explaination.
Only little thing that is probably clear to both of us, but not immediately passed on your text.
When you say:

Quote
what if miner B found the block AFTER checking the previous transactions, cleared his mempool, was able to add new transactions, then he finds the solution, refuses to add transactions and send an empty block?

An unexperienced reader could think that a miner can add transactions after having found the correct hash for the block. Of course it is not possible, you can add transaction only before starting guessing for the correct hash. Modifying the transaction list irredeemably changes the merkle tree and then the hash of the block.
So what you are saying could better written as:

Quote
what if miner B found the block AFTER checking the previous transactions, cleared his mempool, was able to add new transactions but refuses to do so, then he finds the solution, refuses to add transactions and send an empty block?

I think this little rephrasing could help the casual reader (are there casual reader here?) better understand the point. Or maybe it's only my broken english.

English has a lot of double meaning as it is written. ITS very hard to explain in detail with out boring the reader. I am hopeful we can get this done as I am interested as to the guilt or lack of guilt of transaction manipulation.   My sticky thread in mining has proof positive that fees were manipulated higher by someone and that major pools had a financial incentive to do what I shown .  I think I could cross reference that info with this requested info . It may be good enough to show that bitmain actually did the fee manipulation back in 2017 .   There is no question they were manipulated higher. There is no question bitmain made bigger fees do.to the manipulated tx fees.  The question is did they do it or did someone else do it.  If the empty block analysis of this thread shows abnormal patterns. You could be sure bitmain manipulated empty blocks.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if BTC never reaches all time high? on: April 03, 2020, 12:01:10 AM
If 20000 is the ath then the diff will drop.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU hash rate being cut in half after a few hours of mining. on: March 13, 2020, 02:30:52 PM
This belongs in alt coins not here I asked mod to move it.

How did you clock the cards?

How do you monitor cards?

It could be the card is over heating and down clocks to cool off.
275  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: It is 2020 time for a new diff thread. on: March 11, 2020, 06:56:56 PM
... @philipma1957, are you still in the green after a halving with no price no diff change?

yes but barely.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Faster sync would be nice (i.e. soooo slow) on: March 03, 2020, 08:09:58 PM
Out of curiosity I set up another pc with 2 sticks of 16gb ram. 32gb total but 2400 speed. I used a 1 tb nvme 2 western digital black a fatality x370 mobo and an amd 2400g same 200 mb internet this took 13 hours for full startup.  So even good dedicated pc takes at best 4 hours. More likely 6 to 12.  I would say clone the drive every three months make two copies of it.  You will never be more then three months behind.  It is cheaper then any other method.
277  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos SHAME ON YOU on: March 03, 2020, 08:01:23 PM
Can you point out an example of scammer support?
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Unfair aspects of KYC. But KYP is here on: March 03, 2020, 07:52:38 PM
Kyc is here.to stay. It is one of.many tactics used by many governments to attack all coins

I am on my cell I don't use it often. But two people gave definitions for burst posting. I tend to agree with 20kevin20. Making 10 posts in ten minutes to reach max
.  Is most likely burst posting.

Coolcryptovater
Also tried to define burst posting.  Yeah I think 10 in 30 minutes is very close to or is burst posting.  But he talks about taking at least 10 minutes before you make a reply to a post. Not so sure that is correct.  I can give a 150 word solid answer in under 2 minutes in some cases.  Some one may ask what parts do I need for a low end ryzen 9 3900x build to mine Monero. Since I have three builds I can list and answer the question really fast.  Maybe I misread what he was trying to say. In the case of some longer threds
