...the current value of our portfolio does not represent the real value of it...
//DeaDTerra
Please make sure that you establish this REAL value before processing withdrawals. You are running an INVESTMENT FUND, not a DEMAND DEPOSIT BANK. I believe that withdrawals should either wait on liquid capital inflow from new investors, or pay a substantial penalty. Otherwise, a "bank run" of sort could result from the remaining investors feeling like their being left holding a bag of CURRENTLY over-valued assets. investment funds are sellable, this isn't, there was nothing mentioned on the front page about dodgy withdrawal issues when I opened an account, otherwise I wouldn't have even thought of putting money here, but I'm being patient.

I just saw the CBC ( Canadian broadcast corporation; Canada's most trusted source of news ) on tv do a story on the Silk Road... well it was a "quick hit" or whatever they call those brief almost-filler type pieces. They briefly touched on Bitcoin and Tor. I did a quick look on the web to find a video clip of it. I haven't found it yet, but they covered the story more fully on their website. Canadians among top participants on illegal drug websiteI've been waiting to see when/if The Lang & O'Leary Exchange will do a story on Silk Road and/or Bitcoin. I find it funny how the article is distinctly anti-drug, where the comments are all pro-drug advocates, I wonder how long this split will last.

Lol, scams scams everywhere and not a scam to scam. Change the record EM, you can only cry wolf so many times before loosing all credibility. In case you not aware property purchases require legal documents, guess the solicitors are scammers to though.
I think we all new this was a scam when we looked at the website

very impressive location, I love the pictures of the beach As well, your website doesn't have any pricing information on it, it just states "available upon request", could be an issue.

I love the idea of seeing other people portfolio, should a new thread be made or could this be used for that? Is there any risk I may be missing with sharing that info?
yeah its not like there is any "lucurative" investments right now, anything better than anything else, I'd be happy to post mine.

Id like crap threads like this to be closed, and OP to be warned. He cant seriously expect anyone to lend him this, on these terms. It's just attention seeking; this is a lending forum....
If he spent reasonable time in correcting his obvious misgivings and understandings of how to request a loan like this, it's reasonable. The lender gets collateral as the car is still owned by the lender until the payment is sent, its pretty minimal risk in the sense that you at least have collateral that you can get back at any time and is enforceable by law if you're local. IMO When I decide to get a car I might come here for a loan (If I need one, I probably won't), I think stuff like this is a natural progression of the "mining loans" that have been plaguing this subforum since its creation.

Dank, I'd like to introduce you to Maria. You two should get married.
I thought maria was already married? If not then yes, first bitcoin romance.

Payments would begin after one month. I'll pay $500/month for the first three months, then I would pay $1000/month for a few months, $2000/month, etc. until the $34,000 is paid off. You can keep the title in your name till it's repaid if it gives you more confidence, I don't care, as long as I'm driving it. FYI you would also most likely have to pay for max level insurance on the car for the duration of the loan, and pay for secondary driver insurance as well as the lenders insurance (IIRC you would have to do that up here, I'm not sure if you would in the states, someone correct me on that) You would be paying a few more than 500/month I would hazard a guess. It would largely depend on his driving record and age. A male teenager with no collisions in his record would still be paying $7K a year on a car in this price range and with the insurance lenders want (you better be getting the max on comprehensive, but as a lender the no-fault doesn't really matter to me). as well as potential GPS inbedded in the car to prevent "extended roadtrips" until the lease is paid, although if the lender has some trust in you this term could be avoided.

"that is anonymity of the my location of my computer,"
I understand this but with anything, if you want something and there is restrictions to getting it, you must go with them. If you are willing to lend to someone with 100% anonymity then you got to expect some losses. Im pretty sure thats why when you get credit they want to know where you live, Just saying.
Im really not sure why your so negative about a something that could be helpful. But I'm glad you bring up points to be looked into.
I don't know about gweedo but I've thought of similar proposals and put some work into thinking about how it could work, and nothing I thought of is as practical as just getting an "eye" of sorts, like when patrick or hash get their "red flags." The new lenders will still get just as burnt with your system, except they would have someone else besides themselves to blame for their misfortune.

newbie loans popping up elsewhere is fine, it keeps this place clear of the clutter and we can lend to the community itself rather than to questionable outsiders, I agree with this proposal as well, where's theymos when you need him?
This is like living in a landfill and demanding the garbage be shipped to the nearby residential area. ban them for making posts about loans, easy fix. Follow the rules, either pm a stickied lender or fulfill the requirements of posting in the subforum, it's not that hard.

Social security number has nothing to do with lending and it is use to keep track of citizens for society rights. Second your talking about a credit score, but the problem is the anonymity of the internet. What if I register a lot account and flood your service with a lot of fake data making it seem that I am amazing lendee, build it up so I can get a loan of 1000 BTC no questions asked cause your service would make me look like a great lendee. But then you combat it with facebook login, now your going against the anonymity that bitcoin provides. This is one of those questions that takes a lot of hard work and time to figure out and I would just move on cause you don't sound like you did enough work to really see the flaws (many more that I can point out) or research on lending and credit.
If someone is completely anonymous, they don't deserve a high credit score. Most serious lenders require ID. I've made fake id's before to questionable people, its not hard, really it isn't, unless you have access to a department of moter vechicles database for the location the card is made from, or a SIN database, good luck getting access to either.

Sorry bud.. I am fine.. Hot wife, Amazing son. couple cars, all the toys a dude could want..... my penis size aint half bad either.
But you
Lend me 1-10 million lend me car money, lend me gas money, lend ALLL ThE BILLIONS.....
Who what where?
It really doesn't matter, you're the only one taking what I said so personally as to list out your possessions for us. I never asked for gas money and you don't know what I plan on doing with that money so you have a moot point. My ego needs no boosting and I come in your threads because IMHO their FUCKING RETARTED.
excuse my language but c mon dude......
Sounded a little defensive, I never said your ego needs boosting but its appearant that it is present. FYI dank, if I was local to you and actually that kind of cash to throw around, I'd take you up (if everything checked out, of course.) I appreciate that you have faith in me, not many people do as of yet, however, that changes of course. It's not that I have faith in you, I however have faith in a car lease program which is very trustworthy if it's insured properly. IMO one of the safest investments you can make on here, besides a mortgage.

+1, this is not an easy task to complete, the best we have so far is the OTC rating system and that is just as flawed, good luck.
