This just happened to me, and authy's support is telling my 3 of my accounts were "not there".
So I am hesitant to recommend authy as the solution.
I might have backed up what I am missing, but can't find it readily.
For example, using Total Commander, under Titanium backup, there is an authy file, but I can't open it.
Help!
You don't need any file to restore authy, you just need to login using the same mobile number and you'll get all your 2fa accounts there.

. Smells of Deepak Chawla to me again!
Deepak Chawla was too small for all of this. As far as i know Deepak Chawla was found. He had a gambling problem if i remember correctly, and cops had raided him and a good thrashing was given, and after that incident he has not surfaced again. Really , any link to provide an update on this ? I heard from a friend who is a seller on localbitcoin that he too was contacted from someone , and asked to confirm about some offer through the email localbitcoins.com@gmail.comwhich I believe is the same way Deepak scams. That's deepak chawla's email id which is liked to his mobile number. 9911376028

We would like to notify you that we are having an upgrade where we can keep your Bitcoins in cold storage, whilst you are still able to use them as real BTC when selling. By this, we mean since it is the responsibility of LocalBitcoins to ensure that your coins are secure, placing them in our cold storage wallets will help us to achieve that, at the same time keeping your balance the same and not having any issues with your trades.

1. Click on your wallet balance

2. Enter your designated Cold Storage Address(below)

3. Enter your current balance in the Amount in Bitcoins section

4. Enter your password

5. Send the BTC .

Please note that your account balance will remain unchanged after this, but that should not be a cause for concern.

Their Basic idea is pretty confusing, I doubt it's going to be successful in eliminating fraud, identity theft etc. http://techcrunch.com/2015/05/05/shocard-is-a-digital-identity-card-on-the-blockchain/"Meet ShoCard, a startup that stores your identity onto bitcoin’s blockchain so that you can prove your identity whenever you need to. " "Your ShoCard is basically a tiny file that only you can manipulate. When you create your ShoCard, you first scan your identity document and sign it. Then, the mobile app will generate a private and public key to seal that record. It is encrypted, hashed and sent to the network of communicating nodes running bitcoin software for later use.
After this initial creation process, you will use the company’s app to retrieve your information. But the best part of this technological feat is that ShoCard hides all this complexity for the consumer. There are multiple use cases for something like ShoCard, starting with online purchases." Does that Means If I have a fake passport, I can create a shocard with it and prove everyone that it's my real identity? Or It means, I can make a shocard with someone else's ID card and virtually use it illegally anywhere.
