No doubt ethereum is a very good technology but it will not replace bitcoin. There are other projects like Polkadot , Caradano or Binance smart chain which are strong cometitors for ethereum.
Also ethereum supply is not fixed but there will be some very good updates in eth 2.0 which will involve coin burn also.
We'll have to wait a few years to see that 2.0 update finish. I am with when the update is complete then ethereum supply in the market will be fixed and I think it will obviously improve eth coin for the better. I have about 35$ that I'd like to buy BCH with, but with the transaction fees, I can barely get 8$ out of those 35$. Anyone know a way to buy BCH on blockchain directly from your BTC balance? Also, Could I maybe set a low low fee and use transaction accelerator to push it through?
Why don't you move your funds to binance and then buy BCH from there. That's the most cheapest method to buy the coin currently. On the other hand, If the coin is not available on centralized exchange then you will have to buy it from uniswap where the fees are too much. If it's only a small transaction, I think don't use Uniswap or ethereum token transactions just yet. We know not only on Uniswap but most transactions with the ethereum network also have increased costs. but if you want to play with small capital it would be better to use tokens that are cheap but which are already listed on big exchanges. now all of them are still constrained by high transaction fees. |

If you are a long term holder like me, "happiness" knocks in after seeing this bull run. And that makes me not regretting my decision not to sell off all my bitcoin when first new ATH at $19,000 was reached. Seeing how bitcoin is still going up until now, my fruit of patiently waiting for many years ( because I am holder since 2018 ) has paid me off today.
Just small regret in ethereum, selling it immediately last month and didnt rebuy it. And to the fees, we couldn't do anything about it. Since prices are high expect that fees are also quite high for that.
