As we near the release of deterministic Znodes and LLMQ support that comes together with a Bitcoin core upgrade, we wish to prepare Zcoin users and Znode owners on what to expect. We also go into the reasons as to why this upgrade is important to Zcoin’s infrastructure.

AtomicDex is not only a secure multi-coin wallet but also has the peer-to-peer trading functionality of a decentralized exchange built-in!

The past month has been very productive with major headway being made on Lelantus and also polishing and preparing Deterministic Masternodes and LLMQ for release. We finally finished all work on our privacy on by default mobile wallet Sigma and are waiting for Edge to approve our pull request. Our Electron wallet GUI has also gone through some major improvements and we’ll be making a new release soon.

We are proud to publish from Zcoin’s research labs a new paper on hierarchical one-out-of-many proofs (HOOOMP) which improves proving time by an order of magnitude. One-out-of-many proofs (which is a type of zk proof) forms the basic building block for Sigma and our very own Lelantus. We are excited that Zcoin’s work in creating Lelantus has revived interest in one-out-of-many proofs which is also used in Lelantus-MW  (developed by Beam), Anonymous Zether (developed by Benedict Bunz et al and further extended by JP Morgan), Triptych and Arcturus (both developed in Monero Research Labs).

We’re looking at different options to further decentralise the funding of Zcoin development and to take steps to move away from a pure block reward.

An option that came up at the last community meeting and in the Zcoin Adoption Working Group  https://t.me/zcoinawp was to use https://opencollective.com/zcoin

Open Collective is pretty cool in the fact that we can set up tiers for paying members, creating rewards for each tier.

I’m busy setting up some tiers and would like some feedback from everyone.
