261  Economy / Economics / Re: The HODL strategy is not actual on: April 17, 2018, 11:17:35 AM
This morning I saw an article where a guy made a simple calculation through Google trends about HODL strategy, and it showed that call to HODL used less and less from February of 2018. Popularity of word Bitcoin and crypto currency is also falling down.
Why it is so? Do not people believe in Bitcoin and it's bright future anymore?
No matter on such tend I am going to HODL my founds till bitcoin will not come back to 20k$ Grin
If you were able to buy bitcoin @ $800 last year, then there is not enough reason for you to HODL... obviously, people who got in to bitcoins only the latter part of 2017 are those who doesn't understand much about bitcoins, they only got into it because it has gained popularity and the price was quite attractive. Today, you could expect only few HODLing bitcoins because only these few really understands how bitcoin works, and how it survives the toughest dip.
262  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NewG Bitcoin Investment Scam - Biggest Bitcoin Investment Scam in PH on: April 17, 2018, 11:05:03 AM
Well, halos araw araw akong nababadtrip kapag pinapabasa sakin ng misis ko yung newsfeed nya sa FB, may finofollow kasi syang page [BITCOIN USERS PH] yata kung di ako nagkakamali. Madaming recruiters doon na nagpopost ng screenshots ng coins.ph nila tapos may malaking amount ng money... obviously, facebook is the best avenue to scam our fellow pinoys, bukod sa napakaraming jobless na buong araw nakababad sa FB eh napakarami ding naka free-data lang, which made them very limited when it comes to education about bitcoins.

Whenever you have spotted a potential scammer, maglagay kayo ng short comment doon na magsasabi na people can always invest in bitcoins by simply using coins.ph directly... hindi nila kailangan ng "ask me how". Sana wala nang ma-scam pa.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ian Balina Got Hacked for 750 000$ -never open emails that are recovery on: April 17, 2018, 10:44:56 AM
Just like what the top says, don't make yourself an open target... when you make (or invested) huge money in crypto you better STFU for real or else the black-hats will be coming at you. Don't be such a noob to open up funky urls, and most of all you should always use encrypted emails such us protonmail. You can never go wrong with protonmail. ha ha!
264  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Apat Na-Uri ng Bitcoin Investors, Alin ka dito? on: April 17, 2018, 10:34:05 AM
I am, and will always be a speculator. ha ha ha! Eto lang ha, trust your instincts and you will never go wrong.

ICOs are all uncertain... kahit pa sobrang hardcore ng roster ng mga devs nya at kahit pa sobrang credible ng company nila, there will always be a chance na mag-fail yan or worst - takbuhan ka... Kaya again, trust your instincts and you will never go wrong.
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: New pump? on: April 17, 2018, 10:18:02 AM
What do you think about yesterday’s pump? Bitcoin grew from 6750 to 8000$ in a few minutes. That’s incredible! Do you think it is a new pump and soon bitcoin will cost 20000$ again?
Nobody can tell. As far as I know, there are no positive news yet (or maybe there is, and I've missed them out) but it is quite too early to reach $20,000. Expect another dip on August because the experts say that it's the ghost month for the Chinese and they don't want to do business during that. The only piece of advise that I can give you is buy now as many bitcoins as you can.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: surprise 2018 on: April 17, 2018, 10:12:18 AM
OMG! btc prices continue to decline, most likely the price of other coins also decreased.
we need improvement in the face of this situation.
in my opinion 2018 really a lot of surprises.
No, i don't think that these events are surprising... last year has it's blood bath too, right? Cryptosphere will always be like this - huge dips causes weak hands to sell and the brave heart buys it cheap. If you are an experienced mad ass, you will always ignore the first 10 months of the year - celebration happens in the latter.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin and altcoins ? on: April 16, 2018, 03:27:01 AM
Guys all we think the next bull run will start soon. So maybe thats right time to invest more to cryptocurrencies. Do you agree that or should we wait more ?
It's hard to tell - I have a strong feeling that there will be some sort of bulltrap right infront of us at the moment. If you can HODL for the next 3 months then go ahead, buy now and be patient until the bull run happens. On the other hand, if in case the price crashes right after you buy then be patient enough not to panic.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Citizens of Japan are going all-in on Cryptocurrency on: April 16, 2018, 03:21:00 AM
Citizens of Japan are going all-in on Cryptocurrency. Japan, a country known for its progressive financial vision, has reported an unprecedented 3.5 million active Cryptocurrency participants on the island. More than 80% of traders are between the ages of 24-40. Japan made bitcoin a legal currency!
Will other countries take an example from Japan in near future?

Where did you get the news? Anyway, if this is true then its going to benefit all of us. One of the reasons why bitcoin price is reaching high is because people began to patronize it - so if Japan uses it the way it used to be then the demand for bitcoin will certainly spike up. The only challenge that I can sense is the volatility of it, how am I suppose to buy goods in the future if the price is very unstable, if I'll be saving some bitcoins now to buy a gun in December, how certain am I that the value of my bitcoin will be sufficient to buy it when I already decided to? I hope one day the global populace will use bitcoin religiously and therefore it's price will never be this volatile.
269  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Do we want our own coin? on: April 16, 2018, 02:58:58 AM
Pero for the mean time, mag Ripple nalang muna... hehe.
270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit 25k by the end of this Year? on: April 13, 2018, 10:07:21 AM
Crypto Bull Tom Lee has declared that Bitcoin will hit 25k this year!
Don't worry Guys! as yesterday bitcoin has jumped to a record-breaking volume within two hours.

We will reach to the Moon!

Have faith.
This is not that impossible since we are all aware that bitcoin price soars annually without fail, and if last December it has reached almost 20k then it is not impossible to hit 25K in the upcoming months. However, there will always be ups and downs all throughout the year and please expect for a huge dump before the price goes rocket once again... dips were caused by money makers who obviously wants to grab a bag of bitcoins before it reaches an ATH. As you grow older, son, you wouldn't listen to forecasts anymore... you'll rather listen to your thoughts than to some popular misfit who obviously have positioned himself before spreading some good news. Trust your instinct and you'll never be sorry. PS: 25k is kinda cheap compared to McAfee's forecast, and he'll eat his dick if it doesn't happen.
271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes on: April 13, 2018, 07:20:34 AM
This is a mistake a lot of us make. If you track btc every minute you are more prone to panic selling. Btc has a lot of ups and downs, if you are in it long term the short price has little meaning
I definitely agree with you. You have actually made me realize how foolish am I to look at the price on the 12th of November in 2017; that was the first leg of the operation dragon slayer and man I sweat my blood out because bitcoin cash was pumping and the bitcoin was moving the other way. Every minute of me looking at the charts had made me suicidal because It was so damn difficult to transfer bitcoins from my ledger to poloniex, the fee was so damn high and the traffic was hell of a stuck. I wish I could go back to that day and I promise not to look at the charts very often - I would definitely HODL for long term. The lesson I learned in a hard way is to take it easy on charts and never trust the news. Believe in bitcoin, and that's everything that we need.
272  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are you saying wait? on: April 13, 2018, 07:04:28 AM
In recent months, the market has dropped a lot. Many people's portfolios have fallen by 50 percent, and the answer is basically waiting.

We can sell it at a higher price and buy when it goes down.

I think we'll lose a little bit less, better than nothing.
Full time traders rarely experience that 50% dip in their portfolios because they have their entire day watching and reacting to the global trade market. People like me who has a day job are often victims of the dip - I can still remember the last time I have checked my ETC, it was roughly at $35ish and then I peacefully fell asleep but behold when I woke up the next day it was below 30s and that left me no choice but to wait until the next pump. Unfortunately, I still have to HODL on my ETC because it is closely to 50% down. Actually, selling high and buying low are easy said than done. Have you tried selling at high and buying back at low consistently? I doubt.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: April 13, 2018, 06:57:16 AM
Yeah, you are absolutely correct to read whitepapers before indulging yourself (and your precious time) in bounties. You may also want to look at the profile of the devs involved in the project, most developers work for different tokens and they can be easily identified by you if you would carefully read and do your research in forums like this. One more thing to consider is the wallet (hard wallet, ledger, etc.); if the bounty likes you to get wallets from suspicious sources then you must think twice before extracting one - trusted wares are uploaded in trusted sites. But anyway, at the end of the day, bounties are bounties... all of those are worth a try.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DIGIWAGE (WAGE) | POS | MASTERNODE | FREELANCE WORKPLACE |NO ICO on: April 12, 2018, 05:13:55 AM
Too bad I didn't learn about this token until Monday... I was POSing (staking) 808 coin for a while now and then I heard about this DIGIWAGE which made me so optimistic. I'll probably start staking in a bit... not to mention, I love the wallet more than any other wallet in my machine. ha ha. Anyway, I was able to read on about DIGIWAGE and this project is really into something big, this is quite a venture that could possibly compete with Jobstreet and Upwork. I will personally recommend this to my peers and to myself. And hey there, look at me - I am wearing their signature to show my support to the devs and the rest of the team. Kudos to y'all, mga kababayan! Feel so proud.
275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do's for trade in recent downtrend??? on: April 12, 2018, 02:56:55 AM
I personally prefer margin trading during times like these. Not all would agree with it, but that is the best game plan for me to profit from "downtrend". Anyway, am I the only one who felt that technical analysis doesn't work for cryptos? It does for ForEx and Stock-Market because the market psychology is only influenced by a specific crowd/consumers/region. Analysis in crypto could sometimes break your ankle (just like what Steph Curry does when he crosses over. ha ha!). I have experienced it many times already, the yellow and blue lines were already meeting at the bottom and therefore the price was supposed to reverse the trend soon, and it was supposedly the best time to buy. Unfortunately, my tech analysis didn't work fine... the price went down weirdly and left me no choice but to HODL until the reversal happens. Since then, I began to margin trade during downtrend instead. If you don't feel comfortable trading at the moment, don't trade.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes: Bitcoin to $35000 Bitcoin: The Harder The Fall, The Higher The Rise on: April 12, 2018, 02:27:06 AM
This is not far from reality, in my opinion. It is quite obvious that there are "somebodies" who keep the price low today, they were possibly buying bitcoins at a very cheap cost from weak hands and from those who can't wait the next pump anymore. Researchers and geeks said that the wall street and major names in banking are the entities who pull the price down so they could accumulate sacks of bitcoins before the price goes to another ATH. Money makers know exactly how to make money out of thin air (that's why they were called money makers... clever!) and right now all we can do is have faith that bitcoin had made it to mainstream, people are already buying it, and the only reason why it's price is low is because somebody is dumping to create fear among the weaklings and therefore they could accumulate bitcoins very quickly before the pump. $35,000 is not impossible - it had almost reached $20,000 recently.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think ETH have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 12, 2018, 01:23:01 AM
What do you like about ETH?
What do you like about Bitcoin?
Which one is better?
Eth is better because of Vitalik Buterin, russian genius of our days!
Bitcoin is about to die. Too slow, too expensive, too UN-unonimus.
Unfortunately, I strongly disagree. Vitalik Buterin doesn't make ETH better than bitcoin, the community does (granting that it becomes better than bitcoin). Bitcoin is still king while ETH has a lot to do with blockchain development, projects, and birth of neo tokens. People will decide which one to put their assets on - and I personally would chose Bitcoin over ETH as a representation of my money. ETH could be a practical tool to send value to my peers but at the end of the day it will always be bitcoin. People will get into cryptocurrency with bitcoins, not with anything else... not even bitcoin cash (well, for now).
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin starts to climb up in the next month? on: April 11, 2018, 05:33:31 AM
Its really freaking me out, i cant wait , Im also exited for the Altcoins.
This truly confirms how noob (in a good way) you are. The price of bitcoin today only indicates how influential these money makers are, not to mention the wall street and some of the huge names in banking. Since they have obviously missed the earlier cycle of bitcoin and it had caught their interest only after the price went ATH on latter 2017, they forcefully pull the price down by dumping a few and let these weak handed people does the rest at their expense. Don't worry, it won't take too long for these money makers to fill their bags full of cryptos, and once they have satisfied their greed, they will certainly pump the price so they could sell at another ATH. Obviously, there will be another dump afterwards and most noobs wouldn't learn from experience.
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell ethereum or hold ? on: April 11, 2018, 04:12:29 AM
I will leave you with something to think about and maybe you would be able to answer your thoughts. What would you do with the money after your ETH are sold? If you will only sell your bag of ETH just to buy them back some other time then you have to make sure that you aren't buying them back at high price (which is a very common mistake among emotional traders). You better create a strategy first before you react to the current market because selling with gains are useless if you would only be forced to buy at high afterwards because of FOMO. If you ain't really sure about your strategy then I strongly suggest that you HODL because the price will surely surpass the recent ATH. Trust me, I am an old man who had lost a lot in trading but gained a lot on HODLing.
