261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: January 08, 2018, 09:03:22 PM
Firstly there isnt any sure shot trick to always win in gambling but anyways is some small things are taken into consideration, one can stay on the safer side and yet enjoy gambling.

First and most importamt one is dont try to win back your loses everytime.
This will make you play again and again and may make you lose further.

Set a goal till which you will be playing and after that you will withdraw.
This will ensure you are not unmecessarily wasting and also will make gambling more enjoyable.

And dont borrow and play. Always play with what you already have. Dont be in debt and play.Make sure you have enough money saved up already and then play.

Don't forget most games have multiple bets. but in reality they are just illusions. See, for example Blackjack usually has a "pair" bet, where you get paid like 3x your money ro whatever when you get dealt a paired hand. The problem is the odds of this are a lot lower then your initial investment, therefore you essentially just lose money every time you bet on that.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bookie - Sports Betting Exchange on the Blockchain Wants Your Input on: January 08, 2018, 08:34:25 PM
Something special would be to bet on the next LOL or DOTA 2 championship. A lot of crypto enthusiasts are gamers. The pricepool for the 2017 DOTA2 tournament "The international" was stunning 25 Million USD (source https://www.esportsearnings.com/comparisons/zcdd-dota-2-vs-lol).

e-sportbetting

I'm not sure if there is any possibility to bet on esport yet.

I second this.

Never in my lifetime would I have thought that "eSports" would become so legit and mainstream. Think about a decade ago even, there were barely anyone in the world making a living only from playing video games professionally and now we have $25,000,000 tournaments?! Incredible.

I think lots of younger folk would be betting on these things.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people keep trying new casinos? on: January 08, 2018, 08:10:17 PM
Because maybe your luck could be better in a new place. it's probably just our fantasy, but we'll never know if we do not try it, right? So just try a new casino, who knows you better luck there. And if you're feeling uncomfortable with a new one, you're back to your old casino, simple right?

I am not really believing on luck but I do believe in things like coincidences and destinies, well I do think that is corny but I think they are somewhat close to lucks and bad lucks. I think the reason they are switching or maybe trying other casinos is maybe they just want to try new things. I know that one gambling site is enough, but eventually you will be thinking that it makes you bored so you try other sites or casinos.

Every casino looks and feels different. Also it isn't like any of them offer better odds or anything... it's the same no matter where you go. With that said, it makes sense why people switch casinos just to get a different feel and a fresh atmosphere.

Now, there are other reasons such as if a casino lies and basically says hey we offer a better chance to win then other casinos or we give a free deposit bonus or whatever. Most of the time you need to make bets to get your "bonus", it isn't free.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 08, 2018, 08:05:50 PM
What a turn over in the match right now . SA in very difficult position and if ABD fails to bat well and put up good score then Indians might win this match . Anything above 250 will be difficult to chase in this pitch but very possible with the current Indian side, SA must waste as much balls as possible and try to score only when they get loose balls.
South Africa won the game with a wonderful bowling performance from Philander and a day in which we saw 18 wickets fall,it was a difficult pitch to bat but i expected some fight from the famed Indian batsmen but after the fall of Kohli they could fold them pretty easily and was a disappointing first test and hope the series will be like this.

It truly was a great game but it was over after the beginning inning in my opinion. Kohli needs to improve his game and make sure he holds onto the bat harder because India could have won.

It is always a shame when one player ruins it for everyone. I'm not talking about just cricket, but in every sport. Like when a keeper plays bad depsite his team dominating offensively and defensively, it is a real bummer.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: January 02, 2018, 11:56:01 PM
Definitely in gambling its not all about money. The price you will win is like a bonus price. The actual gain or earning you have with gambling is the joy and excitement you get. As they say its more like of an entertainment. If you loss you still gain. You are relieved from the stress you have. Just like playing an online game. You cannot say you can win all the time. However, you have all the chances you can have as long as you funds. As I've said the price you won is just actually a bonus. Keep in mind that you do not go beyond your limits.

I would have to disagree. Gambling to me is only about two things:

1) Money
2) Fun

If you aren't there to try to make money or at least not lose it all very fast then in my opinion you are wasitng you time.

Also if you are too stressed or not having fun, just addicted or whatever then that also isn't good.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: January 02, 2018, 11:44:16 PM
I know what you mean. I've had my fair share of gambling addiction type behavior. Wouldn't say Ive ever actually been addicted, but sometimes it has been very close though.

I dunno, the thing is when I relaized gambling is just math, I stopped being an addict because I feel like I have a good understanding of how it works now and don't really feel as much of a rush anymore.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you need licence to open up an online Bitcoin Casino? on: January 02, 2018, 11:34:38 PM
Yes, I would imagine that you do need a license. I am not a lawyer or anything but in my wildest dreams it doesn't make sense that you'd be legally allowed to open one without one.

Now, you could obviously open one without a license, but that is just asking for trouble with the law and if you are investing millions or even hundreds of thousands, getting a lawyer to handle this for you is both a trivial, and necessary matter.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real Casino or Digital Casino. Whats is your Poison? on: January 02, 2018, 11:31:09 PM
I prefer real casinos because they are safer and more provably fair.

that isn't to say provably fair in crypto doesn't exist. Actually any truly provably fair BTC casino is cool as well.

I jsut think real brick-and-mortar casinos have a lot more to lose considering how much the infrastructure costs compared to a website with some software that can be downloaded from Github these days. Smiley

270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Minexcoin a Good project or Scam on: December 31, 2017, 10:55:21 PM
Minexcoin is a good project, their unique algorithm is to stabilize the volatility of price. And this Minexbank is an opportunity for you to get interest from your parked coins, you don't need to make deposits or what so ever just like investing on a common website, you will just need to sign a message of your receiving address and here you go you are now register to Minexbank. One more thing is their support, they are very active on helping and answering your questions when you contact them either here in the forum or in social media account.

Sounds cool. I like that their support system is good. You can always tell when a company has a good support system they probably also have god service, and good functionality because they put the customer first.

Don't trust them too much though because as well all know, most ICOs turn out being scams!
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell all my ripple on: December 31, 2017, 10:47:20 PM
They say buy low and sell high. Ripple is sky high right now so I think it only makes sense for you to sell them right? I mean what is the point of holding them? The price is bound to crash at some point. This can't go on forever.

When it crashes people are going to lose most of what they earned to begin with. You should get out while it is still possible before you become one of those. Trust me! Sell 80% now and hold 20%.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Litecoin today - 31/12/17 ? on: December 31, 2017, 10:44:05 PM
I think Litecoin will always stay at 1/100th the price of Bitcoin.

It had a weak few years but its back on track now and since cryptocurrencies are getting so popular I think that is going to stay like this.As more and more cryptos come around Bitcoin is losing its massive dominance, but this is to be expected and not surprising at all.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: what benefits you've got from bitcoin in 2017 on: December 31, 2017, 10:05:10 PM
I actually didn't get much benefits from Bitcoin in 2017. At one point I owned over 16 BTC but I foolishly gambled them away and if I kept them I would haeve a lot of money now.

It sucks but on the other hand we didn't know what they would be worth at the time so I don't feel bad about it in that sense. Everything happens for a reason and we just need to learn from it and move on!
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: December 31, 2017, 10:03:49 PM
I feel some sort of shame if I lose my cool and blow money that I shouldn't That is just irresponsibility. Not necessarily do to being a gambler, but just because irresponsibility in general isn't good. Anytime I do something that I regret later, I feel some sort of shame. Some people say shame isn't good, but these are the ones who have no shame, the worst people.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: December 31, 2017, 04:37:47 PM
I think most kids these days are exposed in one way or another to "virtual currencies".

Be it Facebook credits or Runescape dollars, or somethign else - Bitcoin really isn't different in practice only it is a lot more secure. Otherwise it is the same. I think kids will learn easily because of this. It is the adults who are going to have the most difficulty learning about it. Smiley
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Will Happen In The Crypto Market In 2018? on: December 31, 2017, 04:25:46 PM
I think crypto is going to go into a downtrend in 2018. It is definitely ina  bubble right now. The entire insutry is booming and this can't happen forever. It needs to collapse at some point. I think it won't last all the way thorugh 2018, but who knows.

If it does, then Bitcoin will be worth like $100,000 b the end of 2018 for sure.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: December 31, 2017, 04:22:48 PM
Saving money is hard for most people.

When you are poor and used to being poor and finally get some money it can be very hard to hold back from spending it all very fast when you do get some. Most people can't resit this temptation.

However, it is important NOT to do this. When you get some money you need to do your best to multiply it as much as you can by starting a business or something along those lines.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ethereum only $730? on: December 31, 2017, 04:16:06 PM
The price of anything is always dictated by the market.

The reason Ethereum is only $730 is because people aren't willing to pay more for it!

If it was in greater demand or less supply - then people would pay more for it and the price would increase.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: December 31, 2017, 04:08:50 PM
If gambling isn't introduced , there will be no more crimes on this world because the greedy of people won't show up ?

I'm not so sure about that mate.  Greed is exactly why the human race is messed up, but this greed isn't solely or only attributable to gambling.  Gambler's and non gamblers alike are equally greedy and gambling is not a sort of precursor to crime, neither can abolishing gambling guarantee reduction in crime rates. Also gambling comes in many forms, playing the lottery, getting involved in crypto and alot of other activities are a sort of gamble, we can't simply stop all those things in the hope that crime will stop as a result.

Couldn't agree more!

"Money is the root of all evil"

People do crazy things to make money. It really isn't good the lengths people will go to in doing illegal acts just for money. It isn't right.

People are Human. You can't do something wrong to another person and expect that the "reward" will be of benefit to you. Nope. IT will only serve to increase your suffering in this world!
