261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is doing it on: December 01, 2020, 12:43:34 PM
Some analysts say that PayPal allowing customers to buy crypto and Bitcoin in particular was one of the factors pushing Bitcoin to that high it closed the month. It sounds true, there are some 346 million active accounts.

I do not think that the key factor of growing price of BTC was the PayPal. Of course in some way it made the interest to Bitcoin become higher in the society, but not made a great impact on the price. May be there are lots of active accounts, but it is not always that all of active accounts buy or sell crypto, especially Bitcoin. But nevertheless it would be good step towards Bitcoin and crypto in case everything will be so as we imagine.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Lived In London While Working On Bitcoin on: December 01, 2020, 12:21:15 PM
When I saw the title first thought was - oh, again...who is Nakamoto 😁 but having read the article and those research I was surprised really. Sometimes people make me impressed with their perseverance and willpower in order to make titanic work and find out who is real Satoshi. And even taking into consideration that it is more likely that we'll never find out the truth, they do not give up. Respect! And it would be interesting to learn more such researches. May be some day the mystery will be solved.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: November 30, 2020, 11:51:12 AM
There are many people who still don't know about bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. I don't know about others I am talking about my country and about my society. Whenever I ask from people about or talk about the Bitcoin. They ask what is this?

How much there is who face this problem?

It is the same like there are lots of people that do not know who Elon Mask is or know nothing about Binance exchange for example, what is synchronizer or how to raise wheat. In every direction there will be new facts and lots of information for everyone. And of course Bitcoin is well-known for those who is interested in money, profit and investments. For lots of people who are not interested in such things at all it is still something unknown and new.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] 2020, your last chance of owning 1 BTC on: November 29, 2020, 04:44:23 PM
In case I would have got 1 Bitcoin nowadays, I would definitely Hodl it. It is my opinion, that today is not the time to sell it. But I made too hasty decision one day when I decided to sell some part of it, and bought altcoins that looked a bit perspective. Nowadays I would got more benefits rather not buying those alts then selling part of BTC. But what is done is already done))
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why make New Crypto Exchanges on: November 29, 2020, 07:43:36 AM
Lately i see many new crypto exchanges / shitcoin exchanges.
I find that creating new exchanges these days isnt profitable anymore, why would someone switch from a long known exchange like binance/coinbase/etc. to some brand new exchange? Even with a marketing campaign, theres not much you can innovate. All exchanges that promise "no KYC fiat trading" is either a scam or will be shut down due to AML policies.
Exchanges which allow anyone to list their own coin ( exists ) are very vulnerable to Dip and Ditch schemes.

Overall i find working on a new Crypto Exchange a waste of time, money and effort unless you have some truly insane idea.

Am i wrong? Correct me if im wrong, willing to hear all your opinions.

Sounds a bit strange)) 😁😁 In case everyone thought like you, we would not get the Binance or Coinbase some day. May be some service look like the same with nothing new to offer, but aafter some time it will surprise us with a high reputation, forr example. Or some coin may become really strong and profitable some day, but at the very beginning it looked like a shit coin. From the million of offers everyone will choose the best option. And it is not bad that we have such a variety. It is good because this creates the competitive area for participants. Without worst there will not be best.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another institutional investment firm is getting involved in bitcoin. on: November 28, 2020, 09:12:35 PM
An american investment company VanEck($49B AUM) is launching bitcoin exchange-traded note on German exchange Xetra.
 https://decrypt.co/49488/49-billion-fund-manager-launches-bitcoin-etn-in-europe
More institutional money is flowing into bitcoin market with growing capitalization and adoption among the rich. Scarcity and high prices may soon become out of reach of the general public and may only be available to wealthy individuals or companies.
What do you think?

May be it is not bad that different institutions are interested in Bitcoin, and not only show their interest, but even really implement Bitcoin into their activities. But what about this situation and the US investment company, the key words for me in this article were :"The product will be traded on the German bourse Deutsche Börse Xetra", not in the USA. Everything is not bad at first glance, but nevertheless the priduct will be traded via the company of another country. For me it says about lots of things.
267  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 17000$ today on: November 28, 2020, 08:59:32 PM
For me, it's impossible for Bitcoin to create a new all-time-high this year after its rejection at around $19,000+ few days ago.
I am not negative on Bitcoin, I am just telling on what I can see on the chart.
I hope this correction will not go deep and will not last long.

Finally someone who understand that Bitcoin couldn't brake the resistance at 19k$ after the parabolic rise in the last 2 weeks. I think we just saw the 1st correction of the 3 ones, so Bitcoin might make a 2nd one around 15k$ so another one going again to 13k$ from where it began.

I'm not negative about Bitcoin as we all love Bitcoin here, we're just realist persons who can understand that Bitcoin did something out of nowhere and couldn't break the resistance and now the bulls kinda decided that they should leave the market for now.

Solution ? HODL!

Agree with you completely, that Hodl is really nowadays the best variant for those who have assets in BTC. of course I am like lots of people who loves Bitcoin and believe in its growth but Bitcoin really can not grow from nothing in such situation that we see on the market nowadays. In my opinion we all looking forward of the highest possible price of the year, but we will not see it at once,  at least not this year exactly.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The dangers of buying bitcoin thru Paypal - real life example on: November 27, 2020, 06:59:33 PM
what did you expect?

To my mind lots of people after the announcement about PayPal and crypto hoped to get the real adoption of crypto currencies by this services and just forgot what the monster is hidden behind this process. People just thought positively about this proccess and thought that finally it had happened and such famous system with strict ruless of using might really allow people to use their crypto assets in a really suitable way. But personally I have a very realistic attitude to such kind services. And Ithink that people should first try to learn in deep the history of the service and do not forget the policy of the company to its users in previous years, it always shows what the nuances may be in future. But I do not think that person that wrote the article is silly. He just believed them, and forgot a little about the reality.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways against BTC confiscation. on: November 25, 2020, 07:35:28 PM
Tip: They can't confiscate something they don't even know that you have. This is also one main reason why a lot of people here(and with Bitcoiners as a whole) have been heavily advocating in using peer-to-peer platforms, rather than spot exchanges like Coinbase.

Of course they can not confiscate things they do not know about. But in case you are under investigation or someone from your contacts is, it will not be too hard to learn about your assets in crypto, wallets and so on. Of course it is great to use platforms that tell us about anonymacy, but this anonymacy is a bit conditional. In case some person will attract attention of such bodies or agencies it will not take too much time to learn in deep lots of about you and your assets.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rumours that Bitcoin was created in Russia on: November 24, 2020, 08:47:34 PM
is there a valid news source? Satoshi Nakamoto may be a pseudonym, I have also watched a documentary about bitcoin, that Satoshi Namakoto has invited an American programmer in the documentary, maybe he came from the United States, this is just my opinion

Of course there are no links, no news resources were mentioned. All these enormous theories about the Nakamoto origin remind me weather forecasts, when it will be raining or it may be not raining. Personally I think it is good that we have got Bitcoin one day and it does not matter, from what country the creator is. We got lots of new opportunities and is the most important.

273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your seed? on: November 24, 2020, 07:58:56 PM
Personally I do not trust any electronic programs or apps for keeping my data there, especially seeds or keys to wallets. So I do not recommend this to others. Of course the most riable place fo keeping such things is offline not connected with your gadgets place. Because to find the information on any of your gadgets will not be such a big problem for different tech genius.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spend or HODL Bitcoin during COVID-19? on: November 24, 2020, 07:45:34 PM
Of course it depends on the aim of a person and concrete situation. Of course the situation with lots of jobless people and those who had to stay at home wothout salaries made them to go into crypto or remind themselves about their assets in BTC or other crypto. And of course benefits of using crypto were valued again from the other side. But those who hold Bitcoin in those days nowadays are becoming more and more happy)) looking today at the situation on the market.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Am Emotional after seeing this Rally on: November 24, 2020, 07:35:44 PM
Right, Now BTC Cross $19K not for me after 2017 this is really a very Emotional moment for all the investors whyo trade BTC last time in 2017. What's your Opinion?

Personally I am calm, because in such situations you should better control emotions in order not to feel quite another spectre of emotions in case the price started going down in few days or weeks))) sometimes it happens, the market is unpredictable.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hits the home page of The Wall Street Journal on: November 24, 2020, 07:26:50 PM
Crypto is again capturing the attention of the mainstream media, with the home page of today’s Wall Street Journal discussing Bitcoin’s 80% rally since reclaiming five-figure prices.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-hits-the-front-page-of-the-wall-street-journal

I would not say that attention of such kind media was lower than today. They always try to catch attention of as much auditory as possible. But of course nowadays the activity of different crypto gurus, businessemen and profit hunters are more often use Bitcoin and crypto in their speeches from positive view comparing with some previous years.
277  Local / Трейдеры / Re: Биржа BITTREX on: November 24, 2020, 07:05:51 PM

Binance 🔶 on: November 24, 2020, 06:57:22 PM

279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Take Profits in BTC or USDT on: November 24, 2020, 06:50:23 PM
There is some confusion when it comes to BTC Market or USDT Market and sometimes it is difficult to decide to take profit in which currency, BTC or USDT.

I give you an example here and hope anyone can explain in detail.

ETH was 0.035 BTC few months ago and it was around 400$ USD. I did not took the profit and did not sell Eth.

Today, ETH is 0.028 BTC but in USD it is around 540$. (buz BTC price is high)

Now if i had sold it earlier at 0.035 BTC, so today's its worth would have been 660$.

So what's is the best approach in this case to get the maximum profit ?

The most silly question to ask questions of such kind. It is only your choice but not the choice of the person that gives you advice. It depends on your strategy and in case you are a trader, so you should analyse according to the situation on the market. And of course do it by yourself in order not to regret that you listened to somebody's false predictions.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where will it be by the end of this run? on: November 24, 2020, 06:20:49 PM
Bitcoin is currently #27 on this ranking of the world's currencies by estimated market cap. Where will it be by the end of this run?

Oh, we all hope that this rank will be even higher)) Bitcoin is really perspective and promissing asset as it can be named so. Something tells me that it is not top rank for BTC, that someday World will pay even more attention than we can imagine. Will see.
