That is a fact, it is difficult to introduce a new sport in a busy world like today and people do not have the patience to learn a new sport. I started following the sport to place a bet and then this forum is the only space where i talk about Cricket as none of friends knows about the game. If the sport is included in the Olympics then we have a chance to see some interest from the government to introduce the game so that they can win a medal, other than that, ICC can only spend money and they will not get the desired results like some speculate.
Introducing a new sport takes may take many decades to have a real impact. The most basic requirement is Olympic inclusion. If a particular sport is not included in the Olympics, then the governments don't have any incentive to support it. And this is exactly the reason why countries such as China and Russia ignore cricket completely. And the ICC is least bothered in getting Olympics included in the Games. Now they are saying that it maybe possible by 2032. And ten years later, they will claim that they will push for the inclusion in 2042. This sort of delaying tactics will go on forever. It is the International Cricket Council that hasn't submitted an application for the inclusion of cricket into the Olympics. Cricket has been played in the 1900 Olympics with the participation of Great Britain and France. Till date that match stands to be the first and last cricket match played in Olympics. I was watching the first 8 overs of the match and i did not expect them to score above 180 runs but Suryakumar Yadav played a really great innings along with Venkatesh Iyer and the young talents are showing up every now and then and hopefully they will get matches consistently rather than once in a full moon.
It was the same decision from West Indies as the previous match to bowl first after winning the toss. In the previous match it had the highest chance of winning, because they've lost only three wickets. This time the wicket loss has taken place continuously. Same as the previous match Pooran and Powell kept the match alive for some time. Should've been a winning match for West Indies. For users who have profited investing on altcoins will never look for bitcoin investment, because the profit out of altcoins is very big against the profit from bitcoin. Currently, Bangladesh is in not good shape but still they have very good record against Afghanistan which is also good for them and now playing at home is another good advantage for them because at home they have very good record like beating Australia and New Zealand so right now most chances both teams having fair chance for winning these series of T20 and ODI.
For me here, Bangladesh is going with good chance to win because they have very good batsmen and Afghanistan is mostly depending on their bowling, and they have some space in batting which need to fix in future for having some better and fair chance against top ranked teams. But good thing despite many issues both teams are having some good matches for better experience and good exposure of game which will help them in long run.
In last two series at home against SL and WI, Bangladesh managed to win both of them by 2-1 and 3-0 respectively. So there is fair chance that Bangladesh can win ODI series against Afghanistan also. Afghanistan IMO is much better side then SL and WI, so Bangladesh need to be careful while playing against them. Yes Afganistan is a very tough side to beat right now and for bangladesh it wont be easy to beat them. Comparing both sides head to head I feel both teams are pretty close and I would give a slight advantage to Bangladesh just because they play much more cricket against top playing nations and hance have more experience to perform during tough situations in a match. We can't say Indian women's team is bad in its performance. In 49.3 overs India lost all the wicket scoring 279 runs. New Zealand batted second even after winning the toss. I also agree with this and these types of actions are against sportsman spirit. I think PCB should not allow these types of acts in the match and take strict actions like banning these players for 2 or more matches. Unless and until there is plenty for these acts, players will not refrain from doing these stupid things.
