Men's value decreased, a man is not so desiderable nowadays.
And that's another cause of the fact that a woman now is willing to be with a man ONLY for an advantage ( be spoiled and/or he's more handsome than her).

Both men and women have value. They have their own strong points and weak points. For example, men are good in administration, politics, sports, science, medicine.etc. Similarly, the women also have their own fields.

Nowadays you see everywhere that the men

- have a tougher time finding a girl, compared to the past, and they have to make compromises to get one ( be a money slave, and/or get a girl with looks lower than his)

- men are ridiculed for doing something, while women are praised to do the same thing. Double standards.
Example: girls make a sexual compliment to a guy on the street. It's "normal". When a guy does the same to a girl, he's a pervert. And if the police is watching him at that very moment, he's at risk.
Example: if a girl insults a guy, the people watching isn't going to defend him. Conversely the same people would defend the girl even if he's right.

Where do you live?
Maybe you have a hard time finding a girl because you:

1. Look ugly
2. Are stupid
3. Dont have a job/money
4. All of that above and some more.

I never saw a situation you described in the past except that of girls making a sexual compliment to me and that usually ended in having sexual intercourse.

Of course society looks out more for females because they are physically the weak part of our species.

You know whats funny?
My wife is a hot blonde with a ph.d. in biotox and she still likes to cook everyday for our family.

2603  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 85.000 copies of Mein Kampf sold in Germany in 2016 on: January 21, 2017, 06:52:07 PM
I think it was a best seller because it has a very limited printage.

So people buy a lot of these books and sell it on ebay like i see for very nice prices.
About 4-5 times higher than the original price.
This book can be read on the Internet. Once they buy it so for them it is not just a book it is a symbol. It is a bad sign. After the democratic reform can come of radical nationalists. It will be the same as in 1933.

This book couldnt be reprinted because the copyright holder didnt allowed it.
Every original could be shared, sold or bought without problems.
In 2016 the 70 years copyright duration ended and everyone can reprint it now.

The alt right dudes are going nuts again for nothing.
The problem is not that the book was reprinted, but the fact that the idea that promoting this book recently enjoyed great popularity. It seems to me that this pushes the migrant crisis and the rise number of attacks.

Explain me where you get that "fact" from?
The 2016 reprint is full of additional infos and comments.

Isnt it rather logical people bought it as a mean of historical research?
Else you would just buy the original or download it from the internet if you are a wannabe nazi.
To be fair extreme right ideas get more and more popularity...
But don't know if the "nazi" idea will come back.
I think it will take another form. They won't wake up the monster, they'll just create a new one.

I agree here.
Today you cant say far right = nazis anymore. We have people from all colors and ethnicities saying from themself that they are far right/alt-right. From slaves over blacks to jews and asians.

A cryptocurrency which is fully controlled by a nation state is just a national currency.
And banks do the job good and cheap enough for fiat transfers.

There wont be any chinacoin...

There will, and it's a terrifying idea in the hands of a country that is perfectly at home practising wide-scale internet surveillance and censorship.

Why would they need a crypto for it if they can do the same with less expenses?
If you look at capital controls, aml, kyc it will only get worst and china has much more play room then western democracies in this regard.

I can only imagine a chinacoin if it is a undercover operation by the chinese government where they have full control in secret.

2605  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: January 21, 2017, 06:31:28 PM

I saw the inaugural speech on CNN (via YouTube) and they finally turned the camera around and showed the crowd! I bet Trump had to have the secret service force the camera men to do it at gunpoint.

Must send trump an email about flat earth and nasa scam!!!!!

Trump will probably be getting a briefing about the various psy-ops undertaken during the previous administration.  I hold out hope that he will do the right thing and declassify them.  One way or another, I doubt that Trump will retain Cass Sunstein as and adviser or continue the guy's strategies.

Sounds like you may not know it, but nobody actually believes the 'flat earth' thing.  The main goal was to give people without an argument something they perceive as 'clever' to say.  Most of the people who fall for it are to ignorant to realize that the joke is on them.

edit:  As a taster, here's a decent piece at Salon from back in the day when Greenwald was a contributor:  http://www.salon.com/2010/01/15/sunstein_2/

I watched the episode about reptile alien shadow goverment at alex jones.

Growth means prosperity and the more ideal money will allow for more sustainable growth.

It appears you have not discovered the inevitable endgame of our civilization unless humans turn the earth from a closed to open ecosystem by leaving the planet:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steady-state_economy

But things like the speed of light means it will likely always be a closed ecosystem.  Instead of "more growth" it's also likely the human population craters down to 500 million since the earth only has that much sustainable arable crop land to support humans with.  That and the whole peak oil and natural gas thing. Growth is over

This is not how things work in general

Some two-three thousand years ago people most likely had been thinking along the same lines, though the numbers were a few orders less of course (say, that the Nile river could only feed a few million people). What you call as the end of growth is only the end of growth in the current technological paradigm. But we have already been through a few of such, and there is absolutely no reason to think that there won't be a few next technological shifts in the future. Basically, what you refer to as growth being over in fact refers only to the limits of our current knowledge and understanding. A simple but explicative example (your example really), a few hundred years ago people thought there was no speed limit, then they started to claim that the speed of light is such a limit. Now this position is no longer considered valid and people again think there is no such limit

Not neccesary.
Think about the fermi paradox and the great filter.

Today we are able to destroy our species completely from the surface of the world and the chances arent that bad either.

Of course we could also not do it and start space exploration, colonisation and live for the next bilion years.

It is quite convincing, because Trump performed better than Obama, but all we see is just a few months ago, and we cannot see after a months, or what will he be planning with?, we cannot just say that Obama is just a president, but he is a good president. Obama, former president of United States is given a lot of applause, nevertheless, just like Obama, Trump performed better, and they also can give him a lot of applause than Obama
What are you talking about? Inaugural speech of Obama was about 2000 words 1500 trump. The number of people on inoguratsii Obama was twice. The Trump rating is the lowest since 1940. And rallies of opponents?

Well you gotta understand the most hated nigga of all time obomber had more then twice as much people attending his inauguration.

It is not possible to have twice this amount of people.  They were full at 6am when the gates opend packed by 7am and folks were still in the streets trying to get in after it was over.  The streets were full of people who did not get in.  So sorry I do not agree with your statistic.  And I was there so this is personal observation vs what probably you read in the media.  If you have any link I would love to read where you got this claim from.  Thanks

He's a drug dealing criminal. Lock him up and throw away the keys!

If he was one, then there is no evidence to prove it. The FBI has never claimed that he personally dealt with drugs. He set up an online market place, which was used by a number of users, including a few drug dealers.

Silk road... few drug sellers.... Lol
I think that russian troll is prob an online drug dealer too. Or a braindead potuser Smiley

At least in Germany, the migrant crisis had no effect on the popularity of Nazism. The neo-Nazi party (Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands or NPD) has seen its vote-share declining in the 2015/2016 elections.

They are voting AfD now.
A lot of their voter are either alt right or neo nazis

Awesome circle jerking but to bad that reality looks like this:

Germany is nr 1 economy in the west.
Germany got 1% more population through refugees since 2014.
Germany is one of the handful nations that has a fiscal surplus of nearly 20 billion € even though merkel invited over 1 million refugees.
Outlook for 2017-2020 is similar to 2016

 Grin

Meanwhile we see russians that accepted 0 refugees crying about their shitty economy and why that is the fault of muslim refugees LOL

Btw. Americans have problemos with mexicanos not with mudslimes even though both words starts with a "m". (Trumps big wall and stuff, remember?)

I wonder how the German finances will hold up after the UK and France have left the EU an they are left to pick up the tab.

The same or even better. Cheesy

But how about the UK? I see lots of stuff and numbers going down the toilet lol

2614  Other / Off-topic / Re: Progress of Artificial Intelligence on: January 21, 2017, 03:31:24 AM
Most advancement in AI comes from hardware and transistor density increasing over time (moore's law).

Very little comes from progress made in software.

I would guess decades will pass before AI reaches a level near human consciousness.

 Smiley

Interesting I always thought that AI was an advanced form of software that's super complex. I had no idea that CPU power had anything to do with it's learning and decision making abilities other than taking longer on slower CPUs.
If you write a super complex software, the "brain" will still be limited by its ability to process it. The more complex the program the more time it will take to compile an answer.
Also, the software will only allow it to create an answer based on the directions the programmer has thought of. Meaning that if you ask it a question it will answer it, but it won't be able to formulate its own questions, ones that the programmer hasn't thought of. It won't be curious and it won't understand what it is and try to improve.

Or you code a neural network then can learn, adapt and improve itself.

The really annoying thing is that trump is going to mess up allot of what obama did, Health care project, Relations with other countries and maybe even finance with all the awkward things he would be doing..

It's fascinating to see people assign the worst of bungling to Trump.

A guy that fought through a Republican establishment that was totally against him, then against a dominant Democratic environment, against media forces and many other factors, and came out the winner.

That's just like playing poker, and drawing to an inside straight and winning, when it is done by sheer skill and guts, not chance.

You forgot to tell the sheeples that donald walked over water and made wine from it aswell.

Also dont forget the 7 million fake democrats voters!!
