Of course you have to tell .gov where the fiat comes from. That is called AML and exist everywhere except in tax paradises.

I can't get YDX to respond to me to withdraw IOTA. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
You know that there is a big queue of withdrawals on YDX... In that very case statedude sent the withdrawal request in a wrong format. Thanks. I don't read general so wouldn't have noticed that if you didn't say so here. Was hoping for a PM response from him or at least a "mention" Has anyone had issues withdrawing to Bitfinex? I was going to send a test withdraw but the process is so laborious might just send it all. Be safe then sorry. Send 1 first then the rest to check. Dont bother because of the price drop, it is going up again. Just take your time and do it correct.

Bitmain is the cancer of BitCoin!
Jihan is the trump of crypto.
|
|
|
How much mining power does bitmain own?
Antpool has ~17% so it should be logical to say they have less then 17%? Imagine they take away 15% of the mining power from one second to the other at the start of a new difficulty.
Enough chaos for the short of your life.

IOTA @ FORBES 2017/06/15 IOTA's Bitfinex Listing Surges To $1.5B Record-Breaking 'Crypto' Capitalization On Market Debut (...) Their listing has broken records by exceeding $1.5 billion (bn) in market capitalization during its first day of trading on Bitfinex’s cryptocurrency exchange. It represented the largest capitalization of any crypto-currency following listing, with the first day of IOTA token trading being Wednesday, June 13. A communique to flag up the record breaking result stated: “IOTA is gaining significant attention within the IoT community, including leading manufacturers, due to its uniquely designed ‘Tangle’ platform.” (...) Just imagine a connected electric car that requires re-charging, or a connected server with spare capacity for rent, or an internet gateway with spare bandwidth. IOTA provides the value-exchange mechanism for connected devices to use those resources and to pay for them instantly, with micro-payments between the distributed devices - and the companies who own them. (...) David Sønstebø, the founder of IOTA that has a presence in Berlin’s fintech hub and has been in development for several years, commenting asserted: “The world is poised for a new ‘economy of things’ where connected devices exchange financial value for the resources they need.”The Norwegian who is in his late 20’s elaborated: “But there’s been no way for companies to collaborate in practice - the settlement layer has been missing. That’s the problem we’re solving at the IOTA Foundation with a new type of blockchain that overcomes the scalability and cost problems we’ve seen with both Bitcoin and Ethereum.”(...) Unlike Bitcoin or Ethereum there are no IOTA miners, but rather each connected device provides the CPU resources required to process transactions. Bitcoin and Ethereum process blocks on the blockchain in sequence, while Tangle makes it happen in an instant manner and on a peer-to-peer basis. (...) Jamie Burke, CEO and Founder at Outlier Ventures, a venture capital (VC) firm based in London, explained: “That’s the genius of what David, Daniel and their team have been able to achieve with IOTA. They have resolved the fundamental conflicts in the design of the first iterations of public blockchains that have stopped them scaling.”(...) The IOTA team brings a wealth of experience amongst its four co-founders who have been active in the blockchain space since 2010, with co-founder Sergey Ivancheglo having invented the ‘full Proof of Stake’ consensus algorithm. It is understood that the Tangle platform is already being examined by over thirty major corporates including Bosch, Cisco, Innogy, Microsoft, Canonical/Unbuntu SAP, UBS as well as one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, to develop a range of prototypes. What a misleading title....
What is misleading about it? From the title you get the picture that ark is hiring devs with a monthly salary of 10.000++$. This is not the case after reading the three articles. Two articles which need candidates to prove they can code One article which show the best coder is hired Yes, after hiring salary could over monthly 10.000++$. If you want to work for Google you need to spend weeks and month in Google camp to prove to them before hiring. So it is not just a bounty system? The first article stated that one guy was hired but nothing about salary etc. The two other articles was about bounties. You might want to put in more detailed information like what salary, how it is payed and what background you should have.

I think it's neither Obama nor Obamination. Or else you could have called it a Bushimination. The truth is that all american presidents have been puppets controlled by greater interests.
Remember when people could express their opinions about the President of the US, and it was ok? I voted for Bush, but I didn't agree with everything he did. I expressed my disagreement with some of his decisions and policies (like Iraq) and when I did, it felt like freedom. If you look at the policies of Bush and now Trump is clearly traced to the interests of big capital. In the activities of Obama I had ever seen. I liked the policies of Bush senior. He was really guided by the interests of the country and not personal interests. Really? You need to read this article from the New York Post: http://nypost.com/2014/10/12/obamas-4-trillion-gift-to-the-rich/In reality, Barack Obama was far worse than any other American president ever could be. He gave trillions in funds to the wealthy, and in the end managed to increase the federal debt by some $10 trillion. QE is not a tax break. Trump is doing the same now with his trillion $ infrastructure project.

Yes, it is true, I agree. They eat dog!! Can't believe that they can do such cruel things. Dogs is our best friend of us, but they kill them and cook them just because of trying to find another good flavor If you can eat beef, pork, mutton, venison, veal, fish, chicken, caviar.etc, then what is wrong in eating dog meat? Also, it is a part of their tradition. Who you are to order them to stop practicing their customs and traditions? It's about the torture the dogs have to endure before they get eaten.

I don't think that gay people should be permitted to marry and to adopt children. I personally know a few people, who happens to be homosexuals. They indulge in all sort of risky behavior, including injecting drugs and having sex with multiple partners. It is a very unhealthy way of living, and I am glad that in my country homosexuality is illegal.
And every straight person you know that doesn't do drugs, including yourself, is perfect? Only gay people take risks and do drugs? The worst people that I have met in my life fit into the category of being straight non-drug users. Should that be banned too? It's sad to see people encourage their own freedom's to be stripped and celebrate it. Government has your back, keep paying those taxes Keep crying. Gay and transgender people are far more likely to both mental illnesses and suicidal behavior. Hardly something, that would make them effective at parenting others. If they still want kids with their condition, fine. Then can make them (you know why right?). Adopting/buying child of someone else is not human right, mister. Child is also human being and its not 1860 anymore. Great environment for children: What is the reason for such a high suicide rate in the case the numbers are correct? :S

Who is here from 2013 who is not a USD millionaire at least on paper?
I bet noone here from 2011 is not a millionaire.
If so what were your big mistakes that prevented this from being the case?
** edit
don't take from this post that I myself claim to have attained that millionaire status .... but then my early trading was an example of how not to trade. Im guessing the majority has done far better.
let us not let this thread turn into a sour grapes situation....but it is nice to know many average everyday people have now made life changing amounts of fiat due to crypto. I feel millionaire status is within grasp of so many that are here even recently.
let them enjoy their success and inspire us all.. If they made it by buying fairly on the market or mining fairly then it is great to know that so many have done so well.
I can tell you for sure that the majority of traders are in the same boat with you. It is less about TA but more about the will to believe and hold. Trading has great risk/profit margin but holding the right coin is still the way to go.

Having gun control is good for the safety of the people of a country. Supporting gun control is equivalent to supporting the safety of your loved ones. Without gun control, any time, anyone may lose his proper thinking and may start grabbing guns and randomly shoot at people. Gun control will also prevent school shootings from happening again.
Incorrect on all counts. The Paris shootings alone prove your statements are false. Criminals don't give a shit about the law. Mass shooting in us schools vs europe schools. USA wins easily. For that reason us schools look like high security prisons. Lol

I find it strange that so many people just accept money laundering laws and KYC as just something that needs to be done to stop the bad guys. No big deal because you're not a bad guy so the government should know every transaction you make because...terrorists and drug dealers.
Just like gun control laws its not to stop the bad guys. Its about controlling the people and being able to stop whomever they want so the government can gain more and more power.
Now every time a terrorist attacks they use it as an excuse to pass more laws to control the flow of money just like how every time there is a shooting somewhere they use it as an excuse to pass more gun laws.
Their ideal is a world where they only allow you to spend money on whatever they allow along with having no way to fight back if you want control over your own life.
Elwar, are you a terrorist or drug dealer?
