I guess I kinda got a big update to announce.
I received the silver blanks a few days ago and I was pleasantly surprised that they where all ready rimmed and look better than I thought they would, I will post a photo of them in the OP. (of my selling thread)
The stamper was delayed heavily, should have only taken about a week to come to me, but I just received the tracking number for it and I should have it by friday SO on friday I will posting pictures of one finished set (without the engraving) and I expect these to be shipping the 24th the latest.
My time table right now is this:
Receive stamper on February 9th,
have coins stamped and ready to be sent to engraver on the 15th.
Receive coins back from engraver on the 22nd.
Has the stamper been received and will we see photos of it? It got delayed until wednesday but I am on vacation now, so I cannot update with pictures of it until next week so I will probably be posting pictures of it at the same time of the first few coins. |

Security hologram.com if you want to order 5000. It would probably be around $1500 depending on which hologram security details you pick. They do smaller runs but I got a quote for 500 and it was only like 300$ more for 5k. So with them 5k is the way to go.
But defcon had some nice custom ones made, idk who he used but ik he didn't order 5k

I just personally think that 2 weeks is pretty crazy to pay for a raffle spot  If you guys have agreed it in PM, then fair enough, still seems bizarre. No offense was intended btw. So if you bought all of the tickets it would be 3.5 btc, and there is 2.5 btc in prizes. The btcc would get at least an additional 0.2 btc if not more because of the signature, and I guess the chip would get a slight premium too. To me it looks like the prizes are worth more than the ticket price

I really dont see need for other alt currencies unless buying 1 YYY of something directly correlated to something.
Why not support the current alt currencies we have now instead of making new ones?
