2601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: December 25, 2021, 10:58:28 AM
His last fight is against Pacquiao and he lost, this time, I think he can win since Barrios has already passed his prime. I'm hoping that this is a big preparation fight for Thurman vs Crawford because we already have Ugas vs Spence Jr.

Great news for the boxing community.
2602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satisfied what you gained with altcoins in 2021? on: December 24, 2021, 11:46:22 PM
Cryoto market was bullish from at beginning of this year and hit most of ATHs. still i can see, altcoins recovering themself and keep increasing. Almost each and every altcoins performed/performing well and it is expected that, everyone has made satisfactory gain in this year but there are also someone, whose's luck doesn’t flavour on those. Well so do you think, you are satisfied what you gained with your altcoins in 2021??
Only greedy people won't ever be satisfied but me, maybe I call myself being lucky to know Bitcoin and make a good profit from it, and these some shitcoins made a huge contribution as well.
Yeah, 2021 is a great year, not just for me but I think for everyone. It all performing great compared to the last bullish season and we are hoping for its recovery now. And I just hope also that 2022 will be the same... Grin

Anyways, I'm already prepared for what happens next year. I know we can't be all in bullish and these drops are inevitable.
2603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MEME coin rule the world? on: December 24, 2021, 10:55:01 PM
I think coin memes are just a temporary trend that might still last for another 5 years, we can't prevent coin memes because they have a strong community and of course financial support, in my opinion as long as it's still good and profitable then it doesn't matter if the coin meme dominates in the market.
Well, I don't think so. You've said 5 years but how about Doge? These meme coins will exist longer than these shit projects, maybe some of the meme coins but some will also stay and exist longer than 5 years or until the end of crypto.
We can't finally draw a conclusion to them, although we think that most of them are shitcoins (not all), however, like this Doge and Shiba Inu will possibly make their journey longer. They are potentially capable of that as simply because many traders and investors valued this two.
2604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: December 24, 2021, 02:19:59 PM
Here we go again, we are still underestimating Ugas despite what he displayed during his fight with Manny Pacquioa. I did check the betting odds to confirm whether Ugas is the underdog but it looks like there's no odds available yet or any article that tells about a possible betting odds of this fight, so I'm guessing maybe it's too early to talk about this fight? lastly, is it confirm already?
2605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 24, 2021, 01:53:43 PM
Manila Clasico is a game where whoever are the players involved, it's the team's name that is bringing excitement and thrill. The long-time duel of Purefoods franchise and Ginebra San Miguel. It's one of the remarkable and famous match-ups in the league.

Not wrecking the fun of oldies but it's good also if they put Ginebra vs NLEX too. Others are now waiting for the match-up of KJ McDaniels and Justin Brownlee. It's the best match we want to see this elimination as the import of top teams, TNT and SMB are not performing well.

We will eventually see NLEX and Ginebra playing, but it's not anymore manila Classico.
Of course, because these two teams will meet in the future, but let's just focus first on the games tomorrow and on Sunday. Both NLEX and Ginebra will have their respective game tomorrow, so let's see if what team will remain undefeated afterwards.

TNT and SMB are not performing well? maybe, but it's too early to tell, these teams are capable of winning and when the playoffs come, that's the time for us to know who really are the better teams to look up, as for Ginebra, I believe on their consistency, but not sure with NLEX yet as they just skyrocketed to the top. Also, let us remember that SMB and TNT have a good roster, so they can also make a surprise.

No question about that, yes, it's too early but as a fan, we already have our favorite to win this conference and I'm pretty sure that NLEX gained some follows this season and believe they'll make it to the championship and win.
2606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk once again throwing shade at bitcoin on: December 23, 2021, 11:06:21 PM
he is making fun with Dode and shilled them in the first place, so what are we gonna expect from him? A pro-Doge will always talk like that and hated Bitcoin and other coins, unless if he changes his mind and accept that Doge is a meme coin.
He is trying to convince people to buy Doge, not Bitcoin. He has the influence and that could bring something big influence to the newcomers, yet can be natural but I'm not sure how effective it was as people know that Bitcoin is the most trusted coin in the crypto market.
2607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 23, 2021, 01:36:45 PM
I still want to believe that this is a real (and not staged) fight in which Mike Tyson will knock out Logan Paul.

I don't like Paul Logan.  He's too loud and arrogant.  Mike Tyson is a boxing legend.  Exchanging money for a place in history (in my opinion) is a very bad deal.  I want to see a real furious fight (not a stage play).  And Mike Tyson can show us this kind of boxing.

The popularity of boxing is indeed falling.  But Mike Tyson was actively boxing at a time when boxing was at its peak.  This is why we are all so interested in the coming battle.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to see a prime Mike Tyson but his fight against Logan Paul gives us an opportunity to see Mike Tyson fight in the ring. I have no doubt that he could KO Logan Paul, he is a true boxing champion while Logan Paul is just a youtuber, I hope he realized that he is risking his health fighting a legend.
2608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 23, 2021, 01:02:55 PM
I've heard some interesting thing about Kyrie Irving if it is true of course. Firstly, we know that he is still so stubborn about not being vaccinated. Because of his current attitude, he can't play in any of the games in this season of NBA. However, I've heard that he wanted to play in some of the games but didn't want to play in the rest of the games. And Nets didn't accept a request like this of course and decided to leave him out of the lineup. This is a so funny request by Irving.   Cheesy

No, it's not like that, he can play on states that didn't require that you have a jab. So as far as I can remember, he is still not eligible to play in Nets uniform, but maybe he can play on other states or something.

And he still refuses to take the vaccines, so it's really up to him if he wanted to take a stand and be the face of anti-vaccine in the States.

That is not favorable on the Nets, it will only ruin their chemistry as Irving would be on and off to the team. I think Nets are already thinking of trading Irving now, they are just waiting for the right timing, besides, they don't lose because Irving is not paid for the timebeing.
2609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you like to trading with meme coins?? on: December 22, 2021, 10:22:39 PM
~~
Meme coins are good for short trades and you just did it right but those who rode the hype and bought those coins at high, they did a mistake
Yeah. Meme coins aren’t for longer. Value will be decreased after hype end. That is why, We Should not buy any meme coin blindly from high because of hype. Need to think before purchase cause something people saw the hype and purchase altcoins asap and after the end of hype, altcoin value go below. they can't recover their invested capital back
And that makes it very risky when using these coins. We can actually take a ride on the hypes as it seems really profiting but if we cannot able to catch and perfectly sell in time before it drops, that might it caught you into losing. This is not advisable for beginners and especially those who do have not enough time to monitor the market trend but if you were a full-time trader, this is something a little bit easier to manage.

2610  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 20, 2021, 09:39:37 PM
^^ I do agree, he is following footsteps of Manny by going up in weight and winning belts.
Nah man, certainly ain't going to agree about that. Canelo's footstep is going to be a much more different than Manny Pacquiao. Yes its sure looks like he's following but he sure knows that Pacquiao's footstep isn't easy to follow on or atleast be in his level and he also made it clear than he's going to make his own legacy than any other professional boxers. I think Canelo can continue what he plans, and by far Makabu and CW division is the toughest to step on.

Read this: www.dazn.com/en-US/news/amp/boxing/how-many-world-championships-has-saul-canelo-alvarez-won-a-full-list-of-his-major-title-wins/27afneqpuhbp1wjk08yfamjia

Manny Pacquiao is the only 8th division worth champion, I guess Canelo is only 4 or 5 now? I think he cannot surpass the success of Pacquiao but his journey is still remarkable as he is the only fighter (correct me if I'm wrong) to try to dominate in heavyweight classes. Anyway, let's watch the result of his fight and judge his future afterward.
2611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc hodlers vs short time traders on: December 20, 2021, 09:07:56 PM
Sorry but hodlers who buy with dca method are the winners in this game.
Dollar cost average is by far one of the best methods many dont like it as they dont have patience.
We the people want to see results always too fast if not we not interested only few the handful can really do the buy the dips combined mixed with dca style buying.
They might in some instances like if they use their funds wisely and just make trades with potential coins. This is very common to impatient people, short-term trade is what they prepared but of course, it was profiting. They are more comfortable doing this and they felt winning against long-term traders. Well, does is not the problem as traders/investors or anyone will choose those things that it makes easier for them without the struggles to hold longer than they can do.

I'm not literally to say that they are winning, that is actually the strategy they use and it was fine and working well for them. And they continue doing this.
2612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 20, 2021, 08:31:39 PM
If they go to finals I am 90% sure that Lakers won't be there, so he has a very slim chance to meet with Lebron since it would require both teams to be on finals and I do not see that happening.

Maybe because Bulls' journey is easier than the Lakers to reach the Finals?
According to the NBA Futures, LA Lakers still has more chance to reach the NBA Finals than the Bulls, so I would stick with the experts analysis.

2613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: December 20, 2021, 08:12:13 PM
Is Mark Magsayo also a champion?

I think he is just a challenger in this particular weight class or division and he is here to try to steal the belt of Gary Russell.
He is our pride, but to be honest, you are right that his lack of defense, and he always suffer his first defeat in his last fight if he was not able to KO his opponent.
Yep he's a challenger, Magsayo's doesn't have world champions title, he only have youth and asian title.

I wonder how effective is Russell perform and strategy if he only fight one a year, this fight there's 2 years gap since he doesn't have any fought last year. It's true he's active training and workout, but that's different when you fight in the ring. Sometimes, experience is more important than hard workout.

All the time but sometimes upset does happen as well, so let's see if Magsayo will be able to pull an upset here and enjoy that day to become a world champion for the first time. I'm pretty sure he is inspired now with the Filipino fighters who already won a world championship, maybe he is getting some advice from his friend Casimero.

I'll go for Magnolia plus points as I'm sure they will be the underdog.

Let's wait for the betting odds to be available, it's too early to talk about the odds, the game is on Wednesday so most likely the odds will be available by that day or the evening of Tuesday. But, I agree with what you said, Magnolia will surely be the underdog here, but we are not sure if how big the handicap is, if it's only +3.5, would you still take it?
2615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 20, 2021, 01:38:44 PM
Three games were postponed last night. But I was contented with watching the big game that was Chicago Bulls - LA Lakers. There were important missing players like Zach LaVine and Anthony Davis for both teams. We watched a great competition in this game and Bulls succeeded in beating Lakers by 115-110. They were really effective especially in the first and last quarters. We watched a great duel between DeRozan and LeBron. DeRozan ended the game by being the top scorer (38 pts) of the game and had a big role in the win. And LeBron made a great double-double having 31 pts, 14 reb, 6 ast.
DeRozan was the winner here and he continues to show his MVP plays in this game. LA Lakers lose another game, I'm so disappointed although they really fought hard here because I was expecting that they'll start winning especially against a strong team like the Bulls.

You don't have to because in the first place LA Lakers are very inconsistent so far, you'd be surprisedd if they win against a good team, not disappointed. However, I believe it's still too early, the LA Lakars still have enough time to figure out how to win consistently and I believe it will happen this season.

If Westbrook and Davis gives consistent contribution, then most likely the LA Lakers will gain the trust of the fans.

I became hopeless for AD now especially that he's injured. He plays differently this season and it seems like he has been very contented with just 1 title.
I've seen consistent contribution from Westbrook, the only thing he needs to minimize is his turnover numbers and start improving his passing accuracy.
Isiah Thomas could be a good addition as he puts on good numbers for the Lakers, he might still need a little time to blend in.

Yes, AD is really a problem now, he has become more prone to injury and it has affected the Lakers a lot. Speaking of Thomas, I think we should not expect much from him, his out of his prime already and he would not be able to contribute big time for the Lakers as there's Lebron and Westbrook who would always love to bring the ball.

I believe this could help...
https://phemex.com/academy/what-is-the-metaverse-crypto

Metaverse is getting started to get more attention to the community and this probably creates hypes someday.
Many people will think that this will fail but I guess not. It was clearly a decentralized project and it seems the application to the community seems very useful to everyone at this time as blockchain technology development continues. I think we have to welcome this artwork and let metaverse projects show what it can do to us.

2618  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: December 20, 2021, 11:27:40 AM
I've also learned that Trading is not an easy money machine. It always need your time and effort and most important you have a lot of knowledge, strategies, patience and self discipline. If you are able to enter, you should also determine your trade exit.
Well I got to learn that trading is not what you get to learn in a day. There are a lot to learn from trading; from character to strategies, and how technical analysis works. And less I forget that there is also fundamental analysis which can as well be as important as its technical counterpart.

So there is a lot for us to learn, and even after you have learnt every basic, there is still more to learn, some things are just what you have to learn everyday, you don’t have to learn all of them at once and you can’t even do that; the far you go into it, the more experienced you will become. And like you have said, trading requires that we all have patience. Anyone who lacks that patience, won’t be able to succeed in trading and that’s for sure.
Yeah, and the more we got into trading the more we learn things different from what people think before actual trading. But what I'd learn most and I valued this is to know how to manage your funds especially when a crisis comes. And this learning can be applied even outside crypto.
If we are not able to change ourselves and adapt to the situation where it is supposed to do, it for sure we never reach our goal.
And like many people have been said, trading is really hard and risky and this is not meant for everyone.
2619  Economy / Economics / Re: How far is bitcoin from full adoption (100% mass adoption)? on: December 19, 2021, 11:55:01 PM
Please answer, how do you feel about it...
100% adoption? that it looks like it needs 100 years to wait...we don't know.

As for now, there is no timetable for that. Adoption will take longer far different from what we think before. We even think it was too fast and easy but seeing the situation, it moves slowly, at least there is a continuous improvement since some big establishments are into adoption and accepting crypto as a mode of payment. In this way, it helps to encourage others to make adoption as well.
2620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the right time to invest in cryptocurrencies? on: December 19, 2021, 11:23:01 PM
Perhaps, it was your own discretion when to buy as to whether we like it or not, there is no such right time to buy cryptocurrencies. If you were studying the market trend, you may also know that buying during the dip is ideal and I consider this as the right time to buy but not this really be the perfect timing if you ask it OP.

I think that everyone has their own market understanding and I buy coins depending on my analysis. Maybe you OP could rely on that rather than soliciting opinions from others. Well, that is something it helps to decide but of course, the final decision must be coming from you.
