2621  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio - Shipping from stock on: June 03, 2014, 02:22:10 PM

All in stock SP10 were ordered.
Next production run is mid June.

If there will be cancellation or non paying, we'll open "immediate delivery" stock.
Congratulations on your success!  I'm very satisfied with my SP-10, and am looking forward to great new innovations from you in the future (SP-15, SP-30, and perhaps the next-generation SP-50 - a 10TH/s beast on 20nm chips with the same power draw as the SP-30)

EDIT: The SP-50 is a fictitious product that I have made up (but hope sees the light of day) and in no way represents Spondoolies-Tech product pipeline Smiley

Congrats SP-Tech!

Jonnybravo0311 there won't be an SP-15 I'm afraid. It seems that people aren't interested in small miners anymore. As for the SP50 I expect at least 4x more hashrate than the SP30 and at least same power as SP30. The hashrate jump would equal the one from SP10 to SP30.
2622  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 03, 2014, 11:12:38 AM
Yes, but they sold at a loss (at least according to the data they released). Who cares what they did in sales if they lost money? Only thing that matters is profits.

What are you talking about?

Chips are sold at around $0.5/gh and cost around $0.2/gh.

If they sold at a loss how would they have $9,000,000 in assets?

And distributors sell miners at well over 1$/GH which means that FC isn't maximizing profits for his shareholders. The distributors seem to do a much better job on that.

What? How did you extrapolate that? I think you are imagining FC could have sold the same amount of chips at $1+/gh which is not realistic.

$4,000,000 in chip sales suggests FC knows what hes doing.

And distributors aren't fleecing anyone. For example hashratios production costs are $0.8/gh and sold for $1/gh. Extremely small margins. Even at the average price of AM hardware at $1.4/gh the margins are not huge.

Certainly nowhere near the profit per gh on overpriced hardware like spondoolies but exorbitant prices does not equal maximizing profit.

Extrapolating? I'm not extrapolating anything. I'm just stating facts. You just said that hashratio is selling for 1$/GH. That's a simple fact.

I didn't say that FC should sell chips for more than 1$/GH. I said that he could sell miners for more than 1$/GH if he could produce them. How come that last year FC was able to sell for over 30$/GH when the market was below 15$/GH, but he can't do it again?

Let's see how many chips will FC sell after the big sale worth 4 mil $ (from which you saw no dividend) because those 4 mil $ mean nothing if the chips which he paid won't get sold.

Spondoolies seems to really get you since you mention them so often. This is not about SP-Tech. I was just trying to find out why would FC settle for ~0.2$/Gh profit when I think that he could get more. If hashratio has the same 0.2$/Gh profit then doesn't that mean that by producing his own miners FC could get at least 0.4$/Gh as profit?
2623  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What's price of miners $/G/s to be ROI wise? on: June 03, 2014, 10:10:27 AM
haha 0.2$/GH? Where would you get that

Nowhere. OP only asked what price would be ROI wise.
2624  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: H/w Hosting Directory & Reputation on: June 03, 2014, 10:09:23 AM
Status update: quiveringgibbage.linguaefelis (SP10) is now hashing at http://minersource.net , thanks to Bobsag3 for the prompt power up of the hashing unit.

Bobsag3 had the unit up before the courier status updated to Delivered.

YaY!! I'm HASHing again Smiley
QG

Now that's damn nice!
2625  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What's price of miners $/G/s to be ROI wise? on: June 03, 2014, 09:19:35 AM
At 600$/coin- BTC price what's the ROI break-even price of any miner in terms of $/G/s? roughly 1W/G

Any feedback is appreciated!

0.2$/Gh would bring a very fast ROI Smiley

knc must start free hosting next week

for the very first customers

Why next week? Maybe on 30 June...

To moderators AND ADMINS
Guys,
Please do a simple ip check if the thread creator is posting from same ip used in AMT MINERS ACCOUNTS
IF YES JUST LET FOLKS KNOW.
I MEAN IT REALY.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE
And if this turns out to be same ip used from amt bring this evidence to the court agains AMT
That's not going to happen. Only law enforcement would get admins to reveal IP information.

Admins don't need to reveal IP information. They just need to point that both accounts are from the same ip so they are the same person/user. But we all know that won't happen because Thermos supports scammers.

This time last year I was mining 3BTC a day on a single Avalon B2.

Things change incredibly quickly in this game.

bitcoin miners are a dying breed. it's really getting tough to deal with the heat.

Dying right after my first 1 year celebration? No way!

There are ways to deal with the heat. We have a Hardware colocation thread here for people who can't deal with the high power and the heat: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622998.0

Help me troubleshoot:

Had a power outage and my miner is now blowing cold air and not mining.  I've checked the DHCP table on my router and am not seeing it listed any longer.  I've verified that the ethernet switch is operational and I have link lights/activity lights on the Jupiter.

Is there a reset procedure?

2631  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio - Shipping from stock on: June 02, 2014, 07:32:19 PM
Thank you!

No problem.  By the way, with those voltage settings, I'm getting 1.23TH/s steady for the past 24 hours.  The ASIC Stats page shows it's using 929 watts.  Temps are 21 in front and 71 in back.  Oh, and it doesn't sound like I've got a small jet trying to take off in my basement now, either.  So, I lose about 100GH/s from the "turbo" settings, but I gain not having the little lady complaining about that damn thing screeching like a banshee.

You can turn up the voltage a little-bit and aim at ~80C at the back. 71 in the back is cold Smiley
(still on holiday)

Considering that my future SP10s will be hosted at a DC that's a very good advice. Thank you.

2633  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is mining worth it for new miners? on: June 02, 2014, 01:50:14 PM
Hi folks.

I'm just getting into this mining lark.
I've got 3 antminer U2+ units and fit a bfl 30ghz box cheep off ebay.

Currently I'm not expecting to make any ROI... More a thing of interest.

However is there any profitability with mining? I'm seeing people say that even the S1's are no longer retuning the ROI.

Any thoughts? Any advice?

Cheers
Jason

How much would you like to invest?
2634  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: MinerTechnologies.com - MTCH1, MTCH2, ASM1 for sell and cloud mining available on: June 02, 2014, 01:23:45 PM

Page earlier I mentioned that we are preparing video, so no worries. All will be up this week.

Stay tuned.

It doesn't take so many days for a video, but waiting it!
2635  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: MinerTechnologies.com - MTCH1, MTCH2, ASM1 for sell and cloud mining available on: June 02, 2014, 12:01:09 PM
I guess you are bad reader as well. Smiley

We said 100k units not for 100k.

Price from Dreamchips are 1 Million euros for design and 2+ for tape-out Smiley

And please stop posting here, deal with your thread.

Maybe reply to my question?

For cloud mining we are using our servers which are displayed in main page.

Care to show a live miner pointed to eligius to see the hashing speed in real time? I assume you already have the MTCH 1 unit available so it shouldn't be hard.
2636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 02, 2014, 11:59:04 AM

Graphics for our Neptune housing is being finalized as well, and we've included a sneak preview from our Art Director Robert, at the top of this post.

wht the fuck is that?

Pretty case so that customers forget about the other stuff related to the miner.
2637  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining ASICs Technologies Promises 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner And 200 MH/s Scrypt Miner on: June 02, 2014, 11:57:15 AM
I'm not an official voice but a customer waiting for his gear.

and Marc from Mining Asics does post but by his own admission to me via skype he's simply been too busy working the designers, engineers, etc to spend an reasonable amount of time on here...

however the other forum is visiting their office today and will hopefully have some feedback for everyone.

No need to make yourself a fool before not knowing the real situation, okay? If you will keep posting here, we will start posting on your thread and asking why in CEBE your server was empty. We were there.

We had talk with Dreamchips about our cooperation and we were ready to sign with them for 100k chips.

Our previous chip designer sent us only 70% of chips we ordered and scammed us, we are still negotiating with them about refund. So we started searching for another partner. Before telling here that we are scam prove that you have some working devices, we are selling cloud contracts every day and we have already loyal customers and they get earnings daily from us.

For other readers I suggest to come back here in 1 week and see real proof of our working devices and users which receive earnings from us daily.

Care to show some proof of the 100k chips order?

Refund from scammers? Hard to have them both.

What mining equipment are you using for your cloud contracts?
