SP31 failed? Grin Tongue Cheesy

Nope. Just ordered one for ~2k$!

haha yes roadstress, just some courteous counter-trolling. Wink

Sure. Otherwise I will have to find another thing to do with my spare time and I don't want that. Cheers.

I like the hardware and I like to have a small army working for me  Cool

No no. Not for Gen3. For Gen4! Gen3 will never hit 15%. Willing to bet some BTC on it!

I will ask you the same question that I've asked jimmothy: would you like to elaborate on the 1btc/share market value statement?

FC claimed that 40nm should have hit .35W/GH if they hadn't made mistakes (that they have now identified and corrected).  AM is the only publicly traded company producing mining chips.  Once 28nm Gen 4 is announced and power estimates are realized, you will wish you had invested at these insanely low prices.

I'm already betting on it.

Nicely argument Smiley

You got it wrong. It's not about the cost of 1 share. It's about the dividends! jommothy stated that a successful gen4 chip could bring in 1BTC per share in dividends form. I would like to know how he got to that number so I can see it's not just an attempt to raise the share price.

Dude, you should reread the post you quoted.  He said a return to 1BTC/share not a return of 1BTC/share.

My mistake then!

Really nice, and it is only 0.45w per gh/s. Seems like a really good deal..

First post here?  What is going on?

1btc per share in dividends for Gen3 is ridiculous, admittedly.  However, If Gen3 hits 15% of the network and Gen 4 hits power/Gh estimates then it is entirely possible that 1btc/share market value is possible.

thats just stupid, the review sites need to see the thing phisically and not just say it exists just because paying them says it does, what a load of crockary..

Or they simply don't care. It's not their job. Look at this forums rules regarding scams and apply to the journalists.
1628  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 05, 2014, 04:44:08 AM
...but a hugely successful gen4 could also mean a return to 1btc/shares.

More than the all-time ~0.60btc/share from the good days of mining when people were spending money recklessly? How did you got the 1btc/share number? How much revenue is needed in $ or BTC for that big big dividends?

10% of the network reward is about .0063 per share weekly IIRC, which would generally support a share price around 1.0.  Cost deductions offset by higher network % and/or sales profits could put it in the 1.0 - 1.5 range  if mining works out at all like friedcat has planned.  There's a few 'if's' in there, for sure, but thats my current view.

So those 2 review sites are probably working along side them, ive personally never heard of those sites so why try to convince me or others there legit from third party reviews that dosent even show a frigging picture of there miner working

They are not necessarily work with them. Maybe they received some money for the article or they just took them as a good company. Journalists aren't aware of what's going on in the bitcoin mining scene with all the scams.
1630  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TuringStations Razor Bitcoin Miner (The worlds first 7 TH miner) shipping now on: September 05, 2014, 04:30:16 AM

I think we all know the drill already. No picture, no video, domain registered just 2 weeks ago on 16.08 and under a proxy name. 95% it's a scam!

They do accept CC so if someone wants to have fun he should do it, but be prepared for a scam!

P.S. I love the case design of the 7TH/s miner. It has a smaller room for intake air compared to the 5TH/s miner even if it generates more heat. Pro design!

I use to watch http://minefast.coincadence.com/p2pool-stats.php for p2pool luck and stats, but I see that there is a problem now. 4 orphaned, 0GH/s network speed.

What is going on? Have I missed something? Because I don't see a discussion about it here.
1633  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hardware comparison list with announcement and shipping date on: September 04, 2014, 09:36:26 PM
Price is subject to change all the time so it will be hard to keep a good track of it. Also the power consumption may vary a lot if you consider the whole range of underclocking-overclocking.

What is the big delay with the GB coupons?

Is this answered yet? Have anybody recieved a coupon?
because i wait more than  a week for the coupon it means we who choose compensation in form of coupon are at the end of the order que...

Some have received. Send an e-mail to sales@ asking about the coupon.

Edit: Noob question. Can I power the SP30 with regular PSU power cords that have 10A on them? I see that the cables SP-Tech used for PSUs have 15A. By my math plugging the PSUs on 220V should only require ~7A per PSU, but I want to be sure. Thx.
1636  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: September 04, 2014, 04:39:41 AM
while I agree that number of users is increasing exponentially (so far), the number of transactions is NOT, which was posted earlier.
Possible explanation-the absence of accurate statistics, but then the whole argument is mute.

What would you prefer on a personal level as a miner in the short and long term? An increase in transactions or an increase in exchange rate? What about for bitcoin overall?
1637  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: September 04, 2014, 04:32:20 AM
Seriously, you need a native English-speaker/web designer to go through and make sense of the mess that is your admin panel. It's unnecessarily confusing.

Highlighted the important word!

How were the fans when you opened the package? Check/reapply thermal paste? All fans working? Unplug/plug all the cables.
