2643  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: October 28, 2016, 01:05:59 PM
Bitcoin is Freedom because it lets us save our money in a way that it can't be disclosed to others that what portfolio we currently hold.
It lets us gamble freely, wait for its price increase and sell it freely at our rates without any fee (if we want to go without escrow).
2644  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: October 28, 2016, 12:55:01 PM
Bitcoin is worth a lot to me because as we put lots of efforts to earn fiat currencies, the same we do in case of bitcoins too.
When we provide our skills and get paid for it in bitcoins, then I think it should be worth something in our lives.
2645  Economy / Economics / Re: So I made some calculations today on: October 28, 2016, 12:53:06 PM
Bitcoin is still new for many as most people don't even know what it is, while Gold is being used since ages and will get used till many more ages.
Where Gold which was barter-traded for things before, it is not easy for Bitcoins to take its place that easy.
2646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount to start as a trader? on: October 28, 2016, 12:51:00 PM
If you have already learned the risk-to-reward ratio management, then you may go between $100 to $500.
If you want to learn, then $10 is a good amount to start with.

Pick 1 (Live)

Lacko v K De Schepper

My Pick : K De Schepper

ODDS: 2

I know how it feels when you choose someone who is not better than the one playing against that person, but Schepper gained my trust when he played well before. Won the match.

2650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: October 28, 2016, 12:09:34 PM
If you pay fee relevant to your transaction size, then I don't think there is any reason for it not to go through and confirm.
Pay the least fee as recommended, even BTC0.0001 would do (BTC0.0002 is the current normal fee).
2651  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: October 28, 2016, 11:55:49 AM
Both types have their own limits and both are risky, but I think that if in skill-based gambling, you are talking about sports betting, then sports betting is less risky compared to trading which is less predictable due to sudden ups and downs that take place any time and might harm your portfolio badly.
2652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm Lucky Today on: October 28, 2016, 11:53:51 AM
Congratulations mate. It is not important whether you win big or not in gambling, but winning it is the important part when you play for profits.
Your profits are small, but you did manage to make something out of scrap which is appreciable.
2653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: October 28, 2016, 11:51:53 AM
Bitcoin currently is not being hyped or spread that much which it needs to be because if no new investors would join in, the people who have gained coins will try to get more and more coins and they will only add it to their portfolio and never disclose or distribute them.
2654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: October 28, 2016, 11:50:00 AM
Bitcoins can help poor countries if adopted there.
If poor people decide to get paid in bitcoins and suddenly the price gains some weight, then it will be the best decision made by them because this is not just one person, this is a country which is getting paid in bitcoins and the numbers will be big.
2655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: October 28, 2016, 11:48:31 AM
Bitcoin can never be destroyed no matter what effort is been made to bring it down.

That's not the thing here. This is about making banks disappeared with the use of Bitcoins only and not about destroying bitcoins.
But yes, Bitcoins will never disappear no matter whatever ways governments take if they will ever try to ban it, but Bitcoins can't make banks disappear.

Pick 1 (Live)

2657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game do you prefer? on: October 28, 2016, 11:37:09 AM
I always prefer sports betting as I play Tennis always and I know the pros and cons of players in it, so it is very easy to predict who is going to win and in how many sets. Sports betting also involves less chances of loss as compared to other types of gambling.
2658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: October 27, 2016, 03:27:09 PM
Yes as every now and then, news come up saying that some hackers or stealers are asking for extortion money in terms of bitcoins as they know that this is non-traceable and that's the biggest harm that is being done to the bitcoin community.
2659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: October 27, 2016, 03:24:32 PM
Banks have been there since ages and they have their own degree of limitations and Bitcoins have its own.
So whatever happens, banks won't disappear at any cost because we will still need them.
2660  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you invest a substantial amount of Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2016, 03:22:55 PM
I would not invest it anywhere, but I would develop a gaming/gambling website with some cool concept in mind and put all my money there only so that it will grow slowly and eventually.
