Celtics lost some firepower for next season as Gallinari has been diagnosed a torn ACL on his left knee. That's a nasty injury and he's likely to miss the entire season. He's not on superstar level but decent role player that can fill up the rotation which the Celtics badly needs.
I agree that it was very unfortunate that Danilo hasn't even play for the Celtics and he got injured in FIBA. And that is why the name of Carmelo Anthony surfaces as potential replacement for him in Celtics. But I don't see any similarities, if there will be Anthony might be worst defender than Gallinari. But let's see, Carmelo can still play and give good numbers per night. Let's see what the Celtics will do to find at least a good replacement for Danilo and if that will be Anthony at least for this year in green uniform. Let's see, we cannot conclude right away, Celtics have depth, they are a great team and they are still a championship contender this season. Melo might be recruited and might give a spark to the team, no one knows but I'm sure the management will do everything to solve this problem. I hope to see Melo playing with them. He can blend with the type of game play Celtics have, Brown and Tatum are players who know how to find an open man and with the good setup for Melo, he still has that offensive threat if given that open shot, though on the defensive side not sure if he might be a liable unless he will also adjust and add some on his routine, tougher and quicker young guards might attack him, so it's important to improve on this matter. They just need more offensive players like Melo because the existing roster is already more of a defensive players that is why they are called as one of the best defensive teams in the league. Melo can provide that production they need from the bench, no doubt about that because he is already proven throughout the years and until now he can still give good numbers if he'll be given an exposure. |

That proves why Loma is not an average fighter who can be bullied right away if his foe has the height and reach advantages, fighting Loma without proper training regimen is like fighting blindly in the ring because he can really get you where you won't expect it the most as his IQ is so vast in this sport.
I also agree that this fight might end by a way of TKO/KO in Lomachenko's favor, he will do that as a sign of his comeback.

And of course there are styles as well, styles that make people buy tickets and wanted to see the fighters live to see how good they are like Tank Davis. But then again, boxing politics will stand in our for us fans to see if this fight is going to be made or not. But it's better for Shakur to just take one step at at a time, beat Robson in a dominant fashion like he did against Oscar Valdez and as I have said, go and unify the belts, we've seen Josh Taylor did it this year and Canelo has done that in 168 lbs. If he will win against Robson in their upcoming fight, then its not only history that he will chase but also lots of money will be in his possessions. However, it’s always good to see a good boxer taking one step at a time because that will also give him enough time to master his own boxing skills and enhance what needs to be more develop. As for Shakur, it won’t be hard for him as he has already titles that prove his worth in the ring. For sure, he is being trained by his grand father Wali Moses, so he is as old school as other trainer as you can get.  So Top Rank's Bob Arum failed to persuade George Kambosos to face another opponent before demanding a rematch with undisputed champion Devin Haney. George Kambosos officially exercised his rematch clause against undisputed champ Devin Haney. The planned date is on October 15 at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. It is the same venue as the very popular Australian Open (tennis). I think the first fight was very boring and Haney clearly outscored Kambosos. I think it will happen again. But maybe the difference is that Kambosos will let his hands go right after the opening bell. It is probably the PPV buys that will take a hit. Unless they both can promote this fight well. Haney is a boring trash-talker though but a mad Kambosos isn't. Naoya Inoue is really a great boxer, besides having the absolute majority of fights ends with a knockout, which is quite rare for the lightest weight, Paul Butler of course has more experience in the ring, but he is 5 years older and it seems that he is not a favorite in this fight, unless the puncher's chance
Experience can't help a fighter against Inoue, if that experience really is a big thing, then Donaire could have won against Inoue, but look what happened, Inoue just stop him in the early rounds to prove that he is the king of this division. |

I think Coach Ham will keep on pounding WB as an attacker to create spacing and learn a kick out pass.
That's right, it should be the purpose, otherwise that strategy won't work if Westbrook is not gonna pass the ball. Maybe more than 50%, WB will draw attention when he drives the ball, so there are shooters that are going to be open, and I don't know if the Lakers have a consistent 3 point shooters that could play the role. |

TNT can't afford to sit out Castro in this game so i think they will let him play as this will be the last game for this conference. Looks like history repeats itself on TNT on their championship series against Ginebra the last two years where Castro was injure or it was Parks (not sure) and they lost that series so maybe SMB will take the crown tonight. To be sure, i'm taking the ML as they would be a defense-oriented game and a low scoring game so the winning margin for this game might not be wide. Sure, Silva is damn near 50 years old, but he’s got power that Jake hasn’t seen before. I like this fight. I’d rather have seen him fight Andrew Tate, but this was unexpected and a nice surprise.
Is this an exhibition fight? Or Anderson Silva is making his pro-debut in boxing at an age of 47?  I already knew this fight would come after Jake's fight has been cancelled against Rahman Jr., it was already rumored that Jake would fight Silva but ignored it as it will be an another money fight for Jake Paul. Sure, Silva is a professional and deadly athlete but that's on octagon and not in the ring. Probably a pro-debut . I am looking for a reply from people who don't want an exhibition fight like this but it looks like I can't find one  . It looks like they already accepted the fact that boxing is not only a sport but more a business thing. I like watching Silva in his MMA moments, but I wonder if he can fare enough with boxing. So I am thinking of exhausted Silva after round 4. Also, Silva is already old enough and I'd say this he is just after the guaranteed money he can get after the fight. Definitely! But still, it is interesting to watch a fight like this, especially when a person involved had made a dominating fighter impression on our minds. We will see though if this is going to be a title eliminator, or the winner rightfully facing the WBC champion in Tyson Fury. Because there are rumors that he is not going to retire because and would very much fight Usyk. So let's see, the winner might have to wait though.
Whoever wins here is the rightful challenger to any of the world titles be it the WBC, WBA or IBF but if WBC will have their way, the Fury -Usyk will have to wait, and Fury if he wants to retain and take hold of the title he needs to fight the winner of this fight, but if Fury doesn't want to retain the WBC and go straight to the Usyk match then there could be an interim match, which the WBC will decide, there are so many speculations now. Fury really has a lot of challenges to take in the future for him to maintain his title. There are lots of boxers who want to beat him because of his consistent winning record. Fury is an in-demand boxer right now and I guess he should take advantage of the many opportunities in front of him. However, he has to go through Usyk first who seems ready to face him on the ring. I agree, Tyson Fury should just take this advantages first to gain more money while he is still hot and in-demand because this situation won't last long if he will go through Usyk first for an undisputed fight as his record will be threaten in that match. It's not irrelevant. Cp3 doesn't crash the paint anywhere near Westbrook. That's where russ can create and wreck havoc on games but it also gets him in bad position. Just pointing out both have different styles you can't compare the 2. And yeah of course he lost a step at his age but I'd bet on the side of west having an off year. Think he comes back better this year.
Yes, I agree with you. Even though it's clear that CP3 is really much more effective in the team last season compare to what Westbrook is giving, we can't conclude right away that Westbrook is totally not useful. Westbrook is disciplined in his body that he didn't even experience major injuries even how athletic is. Usually, an athletic player is prone to injury but Westbrook is not. He just needs to fully become mentally prepared to somehow return to his usual performance. Not the same during his prime but a Westbrook that can adjust his gameplay and be helpful to his teammates. I'd say that he is still worth the chance to prove his capabilities this coming season and have the same faith that coach Darvin Ham gave to him. We never know, Westbrook might be more effective this time because he knew that this is his last chance to prove his worthiness in the league as this is his last season too before he lands in free agency. I agree, let's say we give Westbrook a chance this season, if he improve under coach Ham then good for the Lakers. If not, then for sure in the middle of the season we might see him get traded. And there are rumors that Ham wanted Pat and Russ play at the same time. So it will be an interesting combination to see them both in the floor. Two high octane players, gonna be fun. Latest I see in the trade is that free agent Markieff Morris has agreed with the Nets, it's a one year deal so for good him. Things have change now because it really seems that the Lakers management is eager to send off Westbrook before the training camp commences. Darvin Ham cannot prevent that from happening as the management is in the money business while trying to avoid paying Westbrook in the last year of his contract. |

Let's wait and see the outcome of this fight as we all know that this two fighter already proves what they got. And in their third match a lot of prediction comes up in our mind because as we can see that both fighters aiming for TKO or KO once again to prove that who is the best and if this fight ends up with a unanimous decision for sure there's a possible GGG vs canelo 4 .
The fourth fight wouldn't count as a professional record anymore, but an exhibition fight since GGG already retired when it's happen. It's sad to see there's no other good boxers that can compete GGG or Canelo on super middleweight or middleweight, so many fans only expect the fourth, fifth, sixth and so on. When GGG already retired, I think the super middleweight or middleweight would be boring. A 4th fight is not possible if it turns out that Canelo will be hailed victorious in this trilogy, but if it's the opposite like GGG then a 4th fight can still happen and that will be a professional fight because GGG has already said that he is not yet hanging his gloves after this fight regardless of the result. Both boxers are looking for a KO but I think they know that it will be a tough job to pull off because both of them already know that they're hard to be KO'd. |
