Fox with only 16 points in a game that he should produce at least 30, pero babalik siguro sila next year, hindi naman sila mayayabang katulad ng Grizzlies hehe.

Sixers +9.5 @1.95 vs Celtics

Kahit wala si Embiid pero i think may laban rin yong Sixers para maging close game to.

Warriors -4.5 @1.88 vs Lakers

1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do with bitcoin? on: May 01, 2023, 08:03:34 PM
Hello guys!
Today I was thinking about Bitcoin and where it will finally go up. And I came to the conclusion that I don't really understand what is the right thing to do with Bitcoin after it will "go to the moon".

So I wanted to ask you all, what are you planing to do with bitcoin when it will go to 70k, 80k etc. Are you planing to sell it or you will keep holding it?
If you will sell it, at what price are you planning to do it?

To be honest, it's quite too many to even mention it here Cheesy But let's see, if in-case bitcoin will break another record and set another ATH, I think I'll still prefer on keeping it and holding unto it because 70k or 80k is not really my goal. If I'm not mistaken, the last ATH set a price for $64.4k so $70-80k will be achievable during the next bull run or after the halving. As of now, I'm patiently waiting for that time to come and there's no need to be hasty because I know that bitcoin will explode more in the next couple of years, maybe soon enough I will start considering to sell a fraction of it if the price is right.
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment involves being realistic, doesn't it ? on: May 01, 2023, 07:39:40 PM
It's fine to take profits if a pump takes place because the correction will happen sooner or later but we all have our plans, some plan for the short term, and others plan for the long term, so even if there is a small pump it makes no difference for long term holders, they will rather prefer to hold than taking short term profit.

true, investing in cryptocurrency is indeed very good for the long term, but my advice is that if a pump occurs, then it's better for us to sell some and wait for the correction to buy back, so that the profit we get can be bigger than we just stay silent and miss the pump, because take profit is the most important thing from investing in cryptocurrency.

That depends on your plan and just like what @ANSEL_2.0 have mentioned, it doesn't really matter if there will be some small rally or slight pumps in the prices if you're holding it for a long-term but if it's just a short term, then taking profits during those pumps will be a good idea because there will be some corrections that will happen along the road. But in my perspective, I'm not really into taking profits in my bitcoin portfolio because I'm holding it for a long-term whereas for my altcoins, surely I will take advantage of the pump.
1664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: May 01, 2023, 05:10:50 PM
The odd for Lomachenko is nice, 3.05x on Stake!
I don't think it's a one-sided fight that deserves such odd btw, so I'm with Loma Grin
He still can win this even though he's getting old. IIRC De La Hoya was retired by Pacman at 35, but fitness-wise, Loma is in much better shape.
If Loma can be at 100%, I think he'll beat Haney with no problem. Loma is weak versus powerful fighter because he is small, but he will be fine versus a technical boxer.
Hard to compare though Pacman vs Dela Hoya, Oscar un-retired and fought Pacman at a catchweight of 145 lbs. Oscar hasn't fought at that weight for many years and so he likes a zombie against Manny in the ring. And so it was a mismatch on the part of Pacman as he dominated a old and slow Oscar that really put his name on top of the boxing world.

But this version of Loma, even at 35 years old can still pull the trigger. Yeah, I know based on his last performance, he seems to be out of shape but there could be reasons there. But in this fight, he might just flip the bulb and be the old Loma himself against a young and very talented fighter in Devin Haney. So yeah, the odds might not do justice and for those who loves the underdog, this is their chance with that 3.05x or even higher at some crypto based casinos.

I surely hope that that was really the case at that time because it is indeed hard to believe that Lomachenko's career is already at sunset now just because he had a short inactivity because of the war. He pretty much had a choice to fight again and try to reclaim the belts that he had lost but he didn't do it because his country needs him more, and that war might be one of the few reasons why he was not performing well in his return. In this bout, we will have our questions answered.
1665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 01, 2023, 04:33:34 PM
Oscar didn't ditch Canelo though unlike what he did to Ryan after the loss. Just what I have read on news sites.

I haven't followed it though, I saw Floyd comments on no show of Oscar Dela Hoya in the post fight. However, this is Oscar responds,

Quote
Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya says the reason he didn’t attend Ryan Garcia’s post-fight press conference last Saturday night is that he was advised by his security team not to attend because he had received “death threats” all week long and they felt it was too dangerous for him to be in attendance.

https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/oscar-de-la-hoya-blames-death-threats-for-his-no-show-at-ryan-garcias-post-fight-press-conference-after-loss-to-tank/262224)

And another thing that caught my attention though is the case of Bernard Hopkins as well. He was accused according to Oscar of having a testosterone cream in his hands when he touch Tank in the weight it and was requested by PBC to be out right ban in the fight inside. So Bernard is absent as well.

Hard to know that truth though, and probably we might not know the reasons behind why both of them are absent. The death threat was absurd already, but the Hopkins accusations is very different and most likely the first time that we have heard this before.

And this is the video that you're talking about - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPLHUeGsmdw

Oscar Dela Hoya's reasons why he wasn't there in the post-fight press conference is too shallow, nobody is buying it, really! He said that he's been receiving death threats all week long but his actions aren't suggesting that he was really receiving some threats because if that were true, I'm certain that he will not be in the fight night and will just watch it live through PPV because it's too risky and dangerous for him, but he was there and then his mood changed when Ryan lost the fight.

Even Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Davis's trainer aren't buying his reasons. It's plain and simple, Oscar was very unprofessional and he was frustrated because Ryan Garcia didn't had the fight even just for a bit. I wonder what did Ryan Garcia felt when Oscar didn't show up.
1666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: April 30, 2023, 07:46:18 AM
There are so many new projects launching everyday and some of them can be good and some of them can be a scam as well. How can we identify it well? Perhaps we should have more discussion about it so we all can learn from everyone's experience.
The difficult thing about recent new projects are that even though they look legit at first, but at the end they could turn away from you 180° and then scammed you off. It's been a trend in recent new projects, starts from they fail to maintain the price so they abandon the project they already fulfilled the "goal", bad project teams, scammers, etc.

You can start to check from the whitepaper, the legitimacy of those people that working as a team(they could impersonate as famous person out there just to scam you), the usage of that project, etc. It's started from reading it carefully and you will know the pattern that differentiate between good and bad projects.

It might take some time before you can actually verify if they are really legit or not because aside from looking at the whitepaper, there other factors as well that you need to verify like having your own research and getting some fresh opinions from other investors before confirming their legitimacy. But if you're really into new projects then you should gather all the facts first even if that will take some of your precious times just to make sure that your investments will be safe.

1668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 29, 2023, 08:40:16 PM
@Boafeng, @bisdak40. Is there a rematch clause for Fulton and Inoue? It appears that this has not been made clear in the news. I cannot find anything that mentions a rematch clause in my hard 10 seconds of searching hehehe. I will do more searching on google later, however, this should be easy to find but is not.

It would also be good for the division if there was no rematch clause. Tapales vs. Akhmadaliev had none and Tapales does not have any mandatory defenses. This implies that he will be given the freedom to fight for a unification against either Fulton or Inoue.

There is no rematch clause, listen to this interview, straight from Fulton himself:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1HlyBFnBm4&t=109s

Go move to 1:33, he was asked about a rematch clause and this is his answer.

Quote
There is no rematch clause.

So there you go, one and done for Fulton and Inoue. He knows Inoue has been knocking out fighters in 118 lbs, but obviously he believes that this is his division and not even Inoue can beat him at 122 lbs.

Well, just as what I expected about that topic because I believe Steph Fulton will climb the next weight class regardless of the outcome if their bout with Inoue. If I'm not mistaken, Fulton was already prepared to climb but it was delayed because he waited for Naoya Inoue after he suddenly announced that he will be leaving the bantamweight and will proceed towards super-bantam.

Yes, you're right. Fulton have already expressed his plans in the past that he may climb the next division much sooner and vacate the belts that he managed to possess which is the WBC and WBO. While I'm not really that sure about the reasons behind that statement because he didn't disclose it but it seems to me that his weight is not yet a factor that is why I'm also confused.

Anyway, back to the topic, I'm really glad that Fulton and Inoue have crossed path before one of them leaves the weight class because I think people have been looking forward to this fight already since Inoue made a statement that he will leave 118 once he unifies all the belts.

Why is it that bad news always comes in a bear market and when we are in a bull market, all bad news about Bitcoin vanished? Are they doing this on purpose? It's always the bear market, after halving everything will disappear and some bans will be lifted, and so on...

Well, I'm not someone you can call an expert or even an OG about these cryptocurrencies but I'm quite confident enough to say that it depends how you see things in your own perspective. Like believing about bad news are always associated in bearish market while the positive news are always in the bullish season, it is not really like that my friend, every season has their own reason and why it exists. In my perspective, both bear and bull season does have their own advantage and disadvantages but I'm more focused on the advantages as that is how I accumulate and earn.
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 29, 2023, 07:40:13 PM
In the Suns vs Nuggets series, the sportsbook odds heavily favor the Phoenix Suns, but I'm not going to fall for that because I believe that the Nuggets are built to be successful in these playoffs, and they can at least reach the WCF.

The Phoenix Suns beat the Clippers in 5, but that was when PG and Leonard were out. They beat an undermanned team, but this Nuggets team is healthy, and they have the home court advantage. So, I think being an underdog presents a huge opportunity for the bettors.

The Suns have gotten better because of KD, but honestly, I believe their starters will be worn out in this series and since Durant is already an injury prone player, so I don't trust them.

Yeah Denver is getting oddly disrespected a little.  They still have home court advantage.  I think Suns are the trendy pick once they landed Durant.  I'm betting on Denver to start the series.  It's going to be a tough cover for the Suns trying to cover jokic.  I like the over in this as well.  Think it won't be much of a defensive battle.  Beat offense wins this series.

For me, the Phoenix Suns are just overrated because of Kevin Durant's presence with the team but I won't argue with that even if the bookies will list them as the favorites to win this whole series because that will be a nice present for us bettors and personally, I surely would love to take full advantage of the juicy odds while the Denver Nuggets are still the underdogs on their lists.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: April 29, 2023, 05:46:34 PM
The biggest issue in boxing nowadays is corruption. It is obvious that it is not easy to make fights between rival networks and promotions. But it should've been doable at times if only these sanctioning bodies are capable of strictly enforcing their rules.

If a mandatory is announced which includes a deadline, the sanctioning body should issue a purse bid if no agreement within the deadline. If the champion is not interested then he should be stripped of his belt and let ranked #1 and #2 make a deal and pursue a bid if necessary. It is that simple. However, these sanctioning bodies especially the WBA and WBC are too money-oriented which is why they do not want to pressure these big networks, powerful promoters, and boxing stars. The IBF is probably the most reliable although currently, it seems like it is also heading into the WBA and WBC direction.

In terms of Crawford vs Spence, there's no issue on networks and promotions anymore because Crawford himself left Bob Arum's roof just to increase the chances of fighting Spence because he already knew that while he's still with Arum, the fight is practically hard to materialize. But even after what Crawford did, he was just toyed by the opposite camp.

And then we got this mandatory WBA mandatory title defense fight for Spence vs Thurman but instead of fighting at 147, Spence took it to the next weight class where he got no belts to defend and what's funny is he even got an approval from the WBA to move the fight at 154. Now what? Spence himself obtained an advantage on that because there's no pressure at all to materialize the fight because he can't be stripped of the belts at 154 as there was no belts in the first place in that weight class.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 29, 2023, 05:11:38 PM

As I previously pointed out, if the Lakers won't do something to aggressively contain Desmond Bane and Ja Morant, in Game 6, Memphis has a chance to tie the series and force a deciding Game 7 back at the Memphis home court which will be critical for the Lakers.

And guess what, here in Game 6 which is currently in Halftime, the Lakers are doing a good job containing both Bane and Morant and surprisingly these 2 Memphis Gunners just finished with 5 and 7 points respectively before halftime. Both also not showing a good stroke at their field goal attempts and having a bad night. Who knows though that they might be able to bounce back in the second half.

The Lakers are now up at 17 points. The score is 59-42 at halftime.

The Lakers indeed performed well in containing two of the offensive weapons of Grizzlies, the visiting team literally had a hard time because the Lakers defense was so tight that they couldn't have any good spot most of the time and the Lakers even forced them to mostly shoot from the outside as they couldn't find a way to steer clear inside the paint. And then when the 3rd quarter ends, the Grizzlies already gave up from chasing the Lakers and accepted that they failed on their run.

Sacramento Kings vs GS Warriors -7 @ 1.91
Memphis Grizzlies vs Los Angeles Lakers -4.5 @ 1.91

What do you expect my friend, that the famous crypto whale Elon Musk will promote something for everybody's gain? That just impossible to happen and quite too muck to ask.
And surely you already had some doubts even before about this motive and why he is doing all this while being mysterious in the same place, but you still chose to ride with the hype with the hopes that Elon Musk got a good plan for the sake of mankind.
1675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 28, 2023, 12:57:45 PM
Boston won and sent the Hawks home for the year. That leaves the Celtics matching up with the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the playoffs. That sort of feels like the eastern conference finals to me as I don’t think the Knicks or Heat are going to be able to beat whoever wins between the Celtics and 76ers.

Heat is underestimated too when they are fighting against Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis got injured and off on some games but still heat dominates them with or without Giannis on Bucks. Butler is a monster once he is very healthy wile his team mates is now contributing properly to help him.
Also, an underrated team because the Heat wasn't that hard to defeat and Jimmy was not that explosive in the regular games and was not really unstoppable. But when the playoff commenced after clinching a spot and defeated the #1 seed in the East which is the Bucks in the first round, their odds to win the championship increased radically just because of that. In the next phase, they will be tested again by the Knicks.

Quote
And since Celtics and 76ers will be a close fight. I’m assuming that whoever win will be on great stress and fatigue that can affect their performance for the conference finals.
Judging the Celtics performance against the Hawks, they weren't that impressive to me and because of that, I think that a healthy Sixers can eliminate them.
1676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Little Bitcoin investment becoming something else on: April 27, 2023, 08:20:28 PM
HODL.

Four letters but could really change your life if you become consistent with it. And while holding, DCA. Three letters but also one of the best strategies that can be combined with holding.

You decide.

We've decided already and we're doing it because of how we experienced it in the market. There's no regret on my part.
You would definitely regret if you do sell cheap. We are still on a bear market i should say or onto that consolidation part on which bull run is still bound to happen in next years.
Therefore it would really be just that sensible that we should really be that accumulating while its still cheap because if you do make yourself get left behind
then you might be ending up on whining just because you had missed out on buying while its still down.
I guess we're no longer in the bear market but the chance of going and transitioning into bull run is higher.

Well, on this matter, to each their own. If OP or someone out there has made a profit, they can sell anytime they want especially now the price is getting higher.

But for sure that many will feel that there's more to this increase and it won't stop from there.

Yes, of course, it's in our discretion what we do in our coin because in the first place, that is our coin.

Now if the OP chose to sell it then we can't really blame her because she has her own reasons and needs as a young mother who probably got an infant to feed at this point. As she mentioned, she might have already regretted that she's still holding it until now as there are some risks that the price will fall in the next few weeks.

But looking at the market right now, the price has increased 11 percent since last month and this might be an early sign that the bull is coming. Although, there's still no guarantee about it as what we can only do is to speculate to about it.
1677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 27, 2023, 07:53:27 PM

I very much agree on your statement mate, perhaps Ryan Garcia could be more lethal and dangerous in the upper division rather than forcing his own weight to fit in 135. But before all of that, he should try and improve his fighting style first because even if he can survive a few fights against the lower ranks, he will still find himself in the very same position where he can't really touch the champions because he lacks something. It's time for him to move-on and learn the lesson that was taught to him, and equip it to be a better boxer in his new journey.

If he didn't lose that last fight he wouldn't think to get to the upper weight class because he was feeling comfortable there with his speed but when he fought Davis, he realized that his past opponents were just a joke. now that he realized he needed to get up there, he should also train as much as he can to get back his honor and gain some momentum to bounce back again. He is such a charismatic boxer unlike anybody else and he can sell his fights easily, he just needs to give some more, especially in his defensive strategies.

I'd say even if he win that one, that will be his last fight at 135 because his weight was already a problem to him in that division. In-fact, he already had two fights prior his fight versus Gervonta Davis and I believe that the sole reason why Ryan Garcia came back in lightweight was to settle their rivalry with each other that has been going on for years now.

But again, if not because of his defeat versus Tank, he will not be learning his lesson that his movement and defense is not that good enough in-front of the experts in the division. Actually, he already had the same scenario where Luke Campbell exposed him but he let his head to grow bigger because despite that fact, he won the fight.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 27, 2023, 06:46:12 AM

However, Lakers had their easiest series as well, so from here on out it is not going to be like this, they will lose probably. Warriors was another example, they do know how to beat the other team but they failed, they could have done a lot better and they failed at the road game. I feel like Lakers are good because of that, they may make mistakes, but not losing games so that matters a lot.

Nothing is easy, my friend. On paper, the Memphis Grizzlies were the favorites to win the series. The Lakers were lucky to win one on the road, but it's not over until it's over. If Memphis is able to win game 6, it will be a different story in game 7, as they will be playing on their home court. Therefore, the Lakers should give everything they have to ensure a win in game 6.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 26, 2023, 12:40:31 PM
^  Yup...  The guy's young, he's practically still a kid as far as his fight age goes because from what I know, he didn't really have any tough matches against fighers that are in his level.  I think he should toughen up and fight more of the top guys in his weight class.
Definitely, he will do that once he comes back from his vacation. If he considers his loss as inspiration, he will try to push his limits and become better. So, maybe the next time he fights Davis in the ring, he will be a better Ryan Garcia.

Anyway, I'm a bit disappointed.  I really thought Garcia was gonna take the match to the late rounds.  I expected him to be more durable than what he showed up there...  :/  And because I had a small bet on Davis to win via decision.  Lol.  Cheesy Cheesy
I didn't expect the fight to go 12 rounds since both fighters are heavy punchers, and a KO was highly anticipated instead of a judges' decision.
