1821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is launching a new project during bear market a good idea?? 🤔 on: March 09, 2023, 09:04:40 PM
I've seen alot of projects did so well during the bull market, but now I'm wondering is bear market will affect the progress of a new project...
I don't know about your project as well as I have yet researched about it.

In general, bear market is toughest time as investors have their net-loss and their mentality can be very weak, sensitive and stressful. With such negative conditions, they are less likely or nearly impossible to think of investing more. Maybe many of them no longer have capital to use for investment in new projects. With those people, you can not attract them to join your new project.

Bear market is for builders and we have some lessons that a good team can build up good projects in bear market that will gain great success in a next bull market. A most classic lesson from 2020 bull run is Axie Infinity.

Yes, those projects are currently not yet making any noises but let's see if it can withstand the current season because bear season is the time where the coins and projects will be heavily tested and mostly will be filtered out especially the ones that doesn't have any utility or is not that appealing to the investors. But if ever those coins will survive the season, then there will be a fruitful season up next when the bull starts, just like Axie.
1822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: March 09, 2023, 07:49:32 PM
The Odds has been out in different gambling platforms. Currently, Ryan Garcia has 3.15 ODDS and Tank Davis has 1.32 ODDS. It's obvious that Ryan Garcia is the underdog in this fight, they are both strong and they are both undefeated but someone will get 1 in their both 0 losses. As a bettor and also a fan of boxing, Tank Davis has the upperhand wherein his K.O. rate is so high and his explosiveness is unreal but we cannot underestimate Ryan Garcia because he became pretty famous because of his speed and courage.

As for where will I put my bet between Ryan and Tank, I still not decided and I still researching for me to have conviction on who will I choose. I'll just make sure that the money that I will put is the money that I can give to the platform where I will not any emotional discomfort even I lose the bet.

Tank has been campaigning in 3 divisions already and became a champion at 130. Although Tank's opponents are mostly cherry-picked and exploited which is normal as he was carefully handled by Mayweather before, Kingry's level of opposition makes no difference. So overall, Tank has the edge when it comes to experience and better opponents.

I am liking of a Tank by KO/TKO. But I won't probably bet since I want these 2 cherry-pickers to fight in a blood bath after years of ignoring the top tiers of their division. And hopefully, the winner will be ready to face the real dogs of their divisions; Shakur, Haney, Loma, Lopez, Taylor, Caterall, Prograis, Matias, etc.

If only Tank was managed by other promotions, he could've won more challenging and worthy opponents that will also give him a much higher income than what he had in his recent fights. I know that Floyd just wanted to give his boxer his own name and helped him to be known but Tank is not 28 years old yet he didn't had the chance to be a regular champion. In this fight, this is his chance to give himself another lift into the limelight to fight the higher dogs which will make him more nearer to undisputed title holder.
1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 09, 2023, 07:16:48 PM
But some people didn't see it that way because for them, Inoue is taking a shortcut because he is now fighting Fulton directly on his debut at super-bantamweight when it is indeed normal already as it's not Inoue who did it first. Besides, he is favored by the governing bodies because of what he achieved at bantamweight, now he is just taking advantage of it.

Don't know why other people say that Naoya Inoue takes a shortcut when it's obvious that no one from lower rankings in the Super Bantamweight can match Inoue.

Isn't the fact that Inoue is unbeatable at the bantamweight division and no one from there can even come close to his level, is not enough to convince those people that he is already qualified to face a champion at the Super Bantamweight which is a much better fight to see than organizing a debut fight for him against a considered not even contender.

I want to ask those people who considered Naoya Inoue as taking a shortcut, aside from facing WBC and WBO champion Stephen Fulton and WBA and IBF champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev, who else in the Super Bantamweight is a good match for Naoya Inoue that is worthy to watch and make sense to organize?
We will see that, if Inoue is beaten in this weight class then most higher-seeds boxers in the super bantamweight division will want a piece of him. They will try, obviously. But I doubt, he will be beaten that far if ever it happens. The weight is not that far and I bet his chin is sturdy enough to take them.

Regarding the shortcut, no, I don't think so too. There's not enough competition in his former weight class anymore and he had all the belts so I guess that's living proof of it. What will he do there? Get old and be beaten someday? Whoever said he did cut corners, that's just foolish.
I like how wise his camp is, keep on moving forward, that should be the goal. Break records.

Don't forget that his weight might be more fitting at super-bantamweight because of what happened recently on the weigh-in, he needed some more time because his weight exceeded from what is needed. So, in that case, he might be more dangerous in this weight class if it turns out true that this is his natural weight.

And for that shortcut thing that became an issue now, where are they when Canelo fought Kovalev directly? Does that also mean that he took a shortcut? These folks who kept on telling that Inoue was handed a shortcut should know the facts and how does this industry works. That's quite normal for such boxers who are talented enough to defeat a much stronger guys even if it's in the upper division, as long as they are confident enough, they can always do it considering that they had a good run lately.
1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 09, 2023, 05:35:55 PM
Now the Lakers are in the play-in tournament and we never expected this one to happen in their last games with Westbrook as soon as they released him, they managed to play well even without Lebron. AD is doing well these past few games and they are coming to get that number 6 slot if they continue to win in their next games as well. They can really do well even when they are only a few stars on the court and seems like AD is finding his right rhythm while playing today even though he injured his nose but he continues to dominate the game.

Honestly, I didn't expect the Lakers to win anything during LeBron's absence, but now they have 7 wins in their last 10 games, and that's surprising. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but they've been doing really well since getting rid of Westbrook. However, it's too early for them to relax because there are 16 more games left until the end of the regular season, and they're not even guaranteed a Play-in Tournament or Playoff spot yet.

Yes, there's no need for them to cut some slack because they are still in a dangerous spot and a loss can definitely make their standings change again as they are still tied with the Pelicans, then there's the Thunder below them and ready to get their places if they will make some mistakes in their upcoming games.

But I think the Lakers can somehow manage their next five games, D'Lo might be back again on the hardwood this Friday to help the Lakers face the Toronto Raptors. No James, no problem as long as the remaining roster is healthy, they already proved that and will do it again.
1825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: March 08, 2023, 09:14:30 PM
Yoshino might have beaten Nakatani by TKO but he will be facing probably the quickest hand speed and footwork in boxing right now.

If Haney will win over Loma and won't move up in weight, imagine how big the fight will be between him and Shakur. Tank and Kingry can only watch and envy because they don't dare to be great. Cheesy
Then there's also a chance Shakur can win via TKO against Yoshino because he can make Yoshino can't fight with him due to different level of technicalities. Shakur is smart, but he just lack of power.

But this could be his chance to win a knockout? And maybe why they chosen Yoshino to be their opponent and let him travel to the US. Perhaps they want Shakur to go and score a statement win via knockout in his hometown.

It could be, Shakur's ratio might be 47% and got a much lower ratio than the Japanese but I cannot really include that as basis because the latter is more of a local boxer to me because all of his fight are being held inside Japan, hence why most of his title are labeled as Asia Pacific. I'm more inclined that there's a good reason why Shakur's camp chose Yoshino and that is to highlight his debut.

I think both of Tank and Garcia know if they're not good enough to beat Loma or Haney, but at least they fight with each other to fulfill the hope from boxing fans and after that they will high likely move to the next weight.

Both will have to move up to 140, Tank and Garcia, but it seems that it might be Tank who's more willing to fight Shakur though as Stevenson has been calling his name for a while now.

As of now, the upcoming undisputed champion is not yet due to any mandatory fights, whether if it's Loma or Haney. And in the recent talks before the Loma-Haney fight was established, Haney wanted Shakur because in his own words, he wanted a much interesting fight.

Atlanta Hawks -3.5 , Clippers -3.5 at Cavaliers -2
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 08, 2023, 07:41:29 PM

If the Lakers successfully got through with healthy the Warriors, I bet they could also find a way to defeat the starless Grizzlies as Ja Morant is now out for the rest of the season.

Lakers manage to beat the Grizzlies at home, a different Memphis when Ja is not playing not sure what happened to them, they are not playing with good chemistry unlike before when Ja is resting they are capable of winning games.

The other two games didn't materialise as both Warriors and favorites did not cover the spread, worse with the
Warriors, as they lose the game, lots of turnovers in the final quarter the rally did not succeed and OKC beat
to defend the home crowd.

Maybe the news about Ja Morant has affected them. However, we must also understand that the Lakers have improved despite not having Lebron James. That's just part of the game, and the most important thing is for Memphis to retain their playoff position. This team has already underestimated their opponents, and it would be a shame if they miss the playoffs.

As for Morant, he is fine in the West, remember?

That statement has become a meme now even before his issues with that live feed he got on his Instagram. Now, Ja Morant has been a laughing stock because of what he did but even though what he did was serious, I pity him because he is still a kid after all and he's just in a wrong environment which influenced him a lot that led him into this mess.

The Grizzlies efforts are now wasted because after all what they poured through just to get the team safe in the standings, they are now again in a miserable position because Ja Morant is out for the whole season and might get heavier punishment once he will be found guilty by the NBA, Nike and Denver PD as they all both launched their own investigation to find out the whole truth.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: March 08, 2023, 06:37:06 PM
I'm expecting that to happen, so aside from the marketing these two fighters are already throwing
trash talks online so what more once they already facing each other in their presscon.

Let's see if how they will use this venue to attract more fans to support the upcoming fight and how they will bring or
add excitement with those below the belt trash talks.

This fight will not need a mega promotion tour from the promoters as this is one of the most awaited fights in this sport. Last time I've checked, this will be held in T-mobile arena in Vegas so tickets for this fight will be a bit expensive but hardcore boxing fans will still patronize this one because they knew that they will get their money's worth as both fighters are in their prime.

Trash talking and social media will definitely help a lot in promoting this fight though as Ryan Garcia is very good at it lol.

Yes, there is indeed no need to add another factor to attract more people to watch the fight because this fight has already been marinated enough throughout the time as both boxers are already talking back-and-forth online for years already, so it's safe to assume that there will be a large flock of people on the given date to watch the said fight.

I'm even confident enough to say that the press conference is not really needed to market it more but it's unavoidable as it is already a tradition in the sport especially if it's a big fight with a magnitude like this.
1829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 08, 2023, 04:08:55 PM

Yes, that is totally possible. I also got a feeling that this fight can indeed outrun the first two gates mentioned, $10 Million is not that huge considering that both names that will be participating this fight are famous and both camps for sure got their own huge bases who will support them through PPV and live gates.

It's either they are a hater of Inoue or they are still not that convinced that Naoya Inoue is just so good, hence why he managed to unify all the belts at 118.

Now that he is campaigning at 122 and is going against a champion directly, Fulton should be tight in his defense just to make sure that Inoue's punches cannot get through because if he is careless, then it's safe to assume that we will see another fight that will end in TKO/KO. But I guess, that's not likely to happen because Fulton is not that kind of boxer.

I think right now, there's nobody at 122 that is interesting enough to watch against Inoue. Well of course, except Fulton and Murodjon.
1830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 07, 2023, 08:17:37 PM
I think GSW is lowkey still a great team, people are sleeping on them even right now. They are the team that won it all last year, that is why I believe that we shouldn't really expect them to lose right away neither. They had some injury issues all season long which kept them low, but if they are in the playoffs, then they are contenders, of course with the condition that they stay healthy. I personally see a team that has curry, klay, poole, dray all on the same team with some decent role players not really that bad, they are quite good actually. Suns is good, Mavs are good, but GSW will definitely be good too.

They manage to stay afloat even with all the injuries they suffered this year. That is quite impressive. They could have a chance to repeat what they have done last year. They also were not on the top of the ranking last year but were able to win it all. But it will be harder to duplicate that right now since Durant is also in the West now with the Suns. The Warriors are still a contender, but it will be harder to win now.

KD was a big part of the team. It's disappointing to see him moving to another team. But they still can make it without him. It's a minor adjustment. Time to show he is not the reason why GSW will fail. There's Wiggins to fill the position. Against OKC, I prefer GSW after all SGA still is not around as well. Hopefully, they'll win.  If Poole performs badly still just like the last time, then he really has some issues to fix.

Let's just expect the unexpected, so that we won't get surprised if there's some twist along the season. It may be an injury or some personal issues, we really don't know.

But talking about the Warriors current situation, it's best not to underestimate them for now because it's still to early for us to judge their performance. We all know about them and this is not the first regular season where they didn't perform well yet when it comes to the playoffs, we always saw a different Warriors, so different from the regular games. And that's why they are different from the rest.

By the way, it is also worth noting that GPII is now back with the Warriors, although he is not yet to be seen as of now but it's expected the he will be joining them once the playoffs will commence. GPII will be one of their keys when it comes to the Warriors defense, and let's not forget the Jordan Poole playoffs version.

Although the purchase is small but you won't blame me as it's a first timer situation and in addition to the fact that the funds are not available enough for me

OP, no one is blaming you or going to blame you for buying a few SATs. You do not need to be ashamed of the Bitcoin you purchased, no matter how little it is,  and IMO, you must not listen to or see the advice of anyone on the amount you should invest in Bitcoin. Invest what you can afford to lose and hold your SATs in a safe wallet. Keep accumulating if you have money that you think is for nothing else but your Bitcoin investment. You said the fund is not very available for you, and I hope you also don't intend to borrow to invest in bitcoin?

The last phrase is a big no, no matter how likely and big the profits are in the future because even if holding these coins for a long-time bases is good, it doesn't erase the fact that these coins are so volatile that it can move in an unexpected manner and it doesn't guarantee us profits at all. That is why we keep on hearing and saying that "we should only invest what we can afford to lose" because that's how you keep your finances and investments manageable. I hope we're clear about that OP, taking a small step at a time is never a bad idea, you should be patient enough about your investments.

Suns -5.5 @1.96 vs Bulls

Suns -5.5 at Pelicans ML

Sacramento Kings -5.5 vs New Orleans Pelicans

Talo sila sa last run nila versus Minnesota Timberwolves, kaya malamang sa malamang, mag ba-bounce back ito ngayong araw.
1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 06, 2023, 09:12:48 PM
That's right, Inoue is not your ordinary boxer who's is easy to predict and evident to see his limits. Currently, there's no boxer that managed to unlock Inoue's weakness and Donaire was the only boxer who actually gave him a good toe-to-toe fight but even that fight wasn't enough to show his weakness and up until now, it's still a mystery and it will be an expensive move by any boxer just to know what is it.

For weakness of Inoue to unfold, he just needs to fight a better boxer than he is.  He may be dominated the bantamweight division, but I do not think that he will do the same in the super bantamweight.  Super Bantamweight is a different division and there are several known boxers that can possibly defeat Inoue in this division.  The boxer in this division have heavier punches and more resistance to blows or punches, and since Inoue is taking a shortcut, he probably doesn't know the extent of the punching power of this division.

Again with this shortcut thing Grin

Really? Why do people keep on insisting that Inoue did a much easier path that directs him to the championship fight when in-fact he earned it because he managed to unify all the belts at 118 and then there's this WBO who gave him a super-champion title which mandates that he can fight directly with Fulton and not Murodjon.

Did you honestly expect that Inoue and the other guys who did a successful run in their previous division to start at the bottom? That's a perk, not a shortcut. They earned it.
I also think it is odd people are referring to what is happening in this way when this is not the case, the four major boxing associations made a deal that if a boxer is able to unify all the belts and that boxer wants to move up a division then they will immediately give that fighter a chance to fight for a title on that new division, this is why Usyk was able to fight Joshua after becoming the undisputed at the cruiserweight division, so this is not even a favor that is being made to Inoue, this is just part of the standard procedure that any fighter will receive if they show they can completely dominate their current division.

Another lucky bet worth sharing.

I'm having a good night, and it was the fourth quarter that really gave me this win. As for the second game, I'm still hoping that it will result in a low-scoring game, as these are both great teams. I doubt Franklin would be able to generate lots of points in the 3-point area, since Ginebra has lots of players who could guard him. If not JB, I like Malonzon to defend him.
1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: March 05, 2023, 10:01:14 AM
I don't think he can get either a rematch with Vargas or Figueroa, it will all be the same results.

He needs to go back down again and try to rejuvenate his career, at least fight someone decent or cherry pick so that he will have this confidence back.
Actually Magsayo get defeated with the same way, where he was use a lot stamina in the early rounds and slowly get beaten in the late rounds. He still not able to find a way to beat a boxer with reach advantage, Magsayo shouldn't only looking to win via knock out since top boxers will have a tough chin.

It's really bad to see Magsayo have lost his last 2 fights, it will not easy for him to comeback since he might depressed with this result.

Some people do not agree with the scorecards, as it seems like the gap is very big. Too bad for Magsayo, as he got deducted twice for score violations, but overall, his performance was not convincing, and Figueroa deserves to win. Magsayo needs to train more and probably change his boxing style, as his career is slowly going down.

What an ugly game between the Clippers and the Kings, Sacramento took a double digit lead by the Clippers comes back and take a 1 point lead. Then Sabonis sinking FT to take back and then Paul George missing the 3 in the last seconds that could have give them the W.

So still winless for the Clippers since acquiring Westbrook although he had a good game again as a Clipper and he was dare to shoot a 3 and made 1.

Clippers now down to 8th spot, as the Wolves won over the Lakers tonight, surpassing them.

But it's evident enough that Westbrook improved and did well enough to help the team keep afloat but they still failed because PG didn't make it as that was their only chance to break their lose streak or should I say curse? Their next match-up is again against a team who is that easy to defeat, it's the #2 seed in the West, Grizzlies. It will be a big challenge for them again.

But who knows, maybe if Donaire gets the majority of the belts and then only the WBO belt is missing, then maybe a unification fight is inevitable. So let's see, Donaire has a few more fights in him, at least if he wins he should aim for another belt in this division.

Correct. The unification fight is the only way now for Nonito Donaire Jr. to face Jason Moloney in the future.

That's it if both boxers will able to achieve their respective target of getting the belts, the WBC title for Donaire, and the WBO title for Moloney. But anyhow, Donaire seems just ready for whoever he will face in the future because his time is running out now. As long as he keeps continuing to win, that's what matters.

Once he loses a fight from now on at this point of his career, I'm sure he will now retire.

He has consecutive losses so it's time for him to break the code. I hope he won't retire this early and aim for more belts because lots of supporters are still rooting for him. His goal before was to follow in the footsteps of Manny so quitting if ever he will lose another fight will be unreasonable. Since he's facing family issues nowadays, I hope he won't get distracted and would stay focused on his training since he only has a little time left.

Not consecutive because Donaire has been able to make a statement and defeat two boxers by a KO, that was after Donaire fought Inoue for the first time. His last 2 defeats were made by Inoue but not consecutive. So, back to the topic, hopefully Donaire can still make a name in the boxing industry and be a champion once again before he thinks about retirement.

Based on the recent past with Benavidez and the wins by Plant, I don't think it will be an easy win fight for Benavidez and he could also lose to Plant following he used cocaine in his fights before which is against the rule. I'd place a bet on Caleb Plant as he signed this contract and came ahead to fight out, and I believe that passion pays off so if Benavidez loses to Plant, it'll prove that he used to win his matches due to his drug addiction.

I agree though, but I don't now what is in the system of David right now as he has been bursting with confidence him and his father are really getting into Caleb and they wanted to win a knockout.

And David said that he wanted to go as high as cruiserweight division,

Quote
“So right now, I definitely want to go up to 175,” said Benavidez to Fight Hub TV during a recent interview. “I know I can win the belt at 175.”

I think it’s definitely very possible but right now, my sights are on 68. I want to be unified world champion at 68, go up to 75 and I think it definitely could be a possibility, cruiserweight.”

But it will already be difficult to fight at 75 with Beterbiev and Bivol, he has history with Bivol though as they used to be sparring partners in the past. But let's see first if he can deliver what he has been saying in this fight against Caleb Plant.

Hmm, he might be asking too much here, as the expression goes, "biting more than you can chew". He should stay first at 168 lbs and see how his career with go here, it could be his perfect weight, his height and age are good for this class.

If he goes to 175 lbs, not only those two Russians, but maybe those rank boxers could be different to beat as it is their natural weight.

So what's more if he is targeting CW, I think this is due to Jack Badou winning against Makabu that this super middleweight thinks they can jump as high as CW, in my opinion.

We can't really stop him if he sees himself at 175 or as high as 200 but he should know that not everything is attainable even if you're someone that talented is talented enough, no matter what he do, David Benavidez is still a human being with limits. He should explore this current division first and it is just too early for him to say that things because he haven't proved himself yet and become a champion.

Suns -5.5 @1.96 vs Bulls

Suns -5.5 at Pelicans ML
