I average about 2 addresses a second due to having to check the balance against my Insight server, some times more depending on response time.
Scanned so far, billions, I haven't kept track.
At 2 per second and only 31.5 million seconds per year, it'll be about 200 million checks in 3 years. Not so much, and indeed, very unlikely to find a double. Extremely unlikely. Impossible, I dare say I've read before that brain wallets are very insecure, when enough people use it, it becomes inevitable to have simple passwords, and brute-forcing you can find either one of them. Finding thousands though is a LOT! How aren't these people all getting robbed? |

I am holding for the past 30 days but I'm not feeling good about it as the price has increased by $80 in just 1 day. I hope it remains stable from now on or the least I can expect is that it doesn't drop. There aren't many buyers now who are ready to invest watching the price rise.
It could also get more people to join, hoping to jump on for a quick profit. You just can't know how much higher it will go. I sold some 0.1 BTC amounts a few times the past weeks, it keeps going up higher. That's just my luck, when I buy it goes the other way. |

It took ~20 hours on three n1-highcpu-16 machines on Google Compute. Each one did ~50 passwords per second, 150 total.
It cost around $38 overall.
At this rate it would take up to 4 years to crack the Third password. At $38 for 20 hours it's clearly not worth it. Here is a small password hint: If you divide the number of UPPERCASE letters by the number of lowercase letters you get an integer.
