Yeah that's true because I wouldn't blame the referee because he was not favouring any side, that's just the game of football either you win, draw or you lose so perhaps the match was a fair game, however Chelsea wining was actually expected because irrespective of how strong a team is playing with two man down is seriously going to affect them so perhaps the red card issued to Tottenham player and the injured one disorganized the team strategy by playing with short two so however Chelsea on the other hand was very fast to utilize the opportunity to break the record that Tottenham Hotspur has been maintaining since the season started of not losing match. Tottenham Hotspur has given Manchester City the privilege of becoming the first on the premier League table and possibility of Manchester City losing match will be very low because they will put in there possible best to maintain the number one on the premier League table in other to become the champion again. Finally Chelsea proved a whole lot of people wrong by securing a big win against Tottenham, It wasn't Tottenham's fault though because they had red card and injury incident, so Chelsea collectively didn't sleep on their efforts, they utilized their chance and converted it to goals that secured a clear 3 points for them and a shift ahead on the premier League stand. Newcastle couldn't do much against Dortmund away or at home, perhaps it's the experience that counts and understanding how UCL games work that counts for experience.
My thoughts - When Dortmund suffered a heavy Bundesliga defeat by the Germans and Newcastle were able to win over Arsenal this week then thought their UCL clash would be interesting in terms of goals against each other, but it was never predicted that Newcastle would be brought to their knees by Dortmund.
Barcelona's defeat was actually surprising for Shakhtar who only won narrowly but Barcelona were unable to reply to the goal for the same position, actually Barcelona's points are safe at the moment with 9 points but they will meet Porto that will be difficult even though they have won away with a score of 1-0 it will still be worrying for Xavi because however Shakhtar Donets can catch the points if they win again in the next match.
With the way Newcastle played against Arsenal I felt they could have their revenge against Dortmund but was wrong because Borrussia Dortmund channeled all the anger and embarrassement from the lose against Bayern Munich to this match, thought Newcastle tried they Dominated the game but couldn't convert the chances they had, however Dortmund created better chances and utilized them well, they could scored more but only managed to score 2 goals, Newcastle are gradually missing their chances of Qualifying for the next round. Sometimes in football things doesn't actually work the way we think, Carlo Ancelotti boys played a very good game just that luck wasn't on their side at all, they played with so much energy but they couldn't beat Rayo Vallecano and besides Vallecano's boys were very impressive in their defense hence making it difficult for Madrid to sail through.

The thing about Lyon is that they had one of the all time best runs in all of France history and then they are so bad that they may drop. It's not even same with Leicester who won the premier league title and now they are gone to championship, that's a big shocker too and did not expected them to get that worse, but Lyon is doing even worse right now. They won something like 9 in a row or something, they may actually have a bigger win streak than PSG at this moment, that is something huge and you need to build a club that can be sustainable when you do that.
How could you have one of the longest streaks of wins, and then end up with being so bad that people are expecting you to eventually relegate? That feels like a big deal. I think it's clear that they are going to end up with a bad result, they need to do a lot better. Can't say what they did with all the money they had, but it's gone, that's for sure and that's why they can't get better.
It would be very bad to see Lyon relegated this season, because they used to be a very tough team but currently they've been performing very poor and it's gotten worst because they find it very difficult to win against smaller teams they should be winning easily even at their home ground, they're currently at the very bottom of the league and they really have to be consistent in about 3 to 4 matches to leave the relegation zone, but I doubt if they would cause they're the only team that's yet to win a match. Honestly Tottenham's defeat was completely unexpected, before I never thought that the team that is now on the rise could be defeated with disappointing statistics by a team that was almost in the degeradation zone with all the problems of the downturn. I don't know what are the reasons and problems experienced by Tottenham in this match but it is certainly very embarrassing if they have to lose against Chelsea at home.
The fatal mistake experienced by Tottenham in my opinion was because two of their players were red carded, it was a strong reason why the score at the end of the match was very far away because obviously their strength was not balanced if 9 people had to fight 11 people. And also yes, the problem and the impact is not only the confidence of the players who have dropped but obviously the confidence of the fans will also definitely decrease because on the other hand the prestige of the club has been humiliated at home. A very bad and disappointing result, in this match Tottenham was really far from luck, and I hope Ange will soon be able to restore the confidence and consistency of his squad for the next few matches.
The defeat of Tottenham at home by Chelse could be seen as one case of squad depth. Im very happy to tell that if camavinga has made longterm deal with real madrid. Real Madrid have announced that Eduardo Camavinga has signed a new contract with the club running until 2029.
The Frenchman's previous deal ran until 2027 but Los Blancos have been keen to tie their most valuable assets down to new long-term deals. After real madrid has been also announcing the new deal for some players last months and another news is coming. Camavinga is a great player. His real position was a midfielder but since he can't compete with some midfielders and he try to play as a defender. he was still playing properly even in the position that makes him feel not confidence with it. Securing his signature has become the main target caused by camavinga was a potential player for the future. I hope he can develop himself even better in real madrid. Sometimes, ancellotti needs to give him a chance to play as a midfielder as well along with tchouameni. A nice deal from real madrid. IMO, Felix is a player who has great ambition, he wants to prove that he deserves to be a top player. what he showed with Barcelona, far from when he played with Chelsea. Yes even with a player's efforts, the coach still makes the decision of whom to retain, all based on his personal view of the game and sometimes this decision will in turn make players who are so much eager to do more during the last minutes of the game to loose their chance of making a difference but regardless, a player who has made and impact in a match will always be remembered for that impact made. They don't even have a clear pattern that leads to goal they just out there doing it anyway they like it. Against Manchester City, Manchester City created same chance over and over for Erling Haaland until he finally scored that same goal which we saw on of them headers cleared and saved by Andrea Onana.
Manchester United can do better, I know they have more important challenges but the players should be thoughtful. Manchester United fans want this positive results back to back. Thats not a difficult thing to do Yeah?!
