In the second half though Brighton were better and dominated but Chelsea defended very well even their counterattacks managed to make Brighton lose concentration which made them have to be punished with a penalty.
It shows Chelsea performance is quite good even though until the whole match they are still quite bad but in this match Chelsea deserve to be given praise especially for the 3 points they get.
I don’t agree with this because this Chelsea side has shown a massive improvement than the way they performed last season under low class coach Potter. You can tell from their matches against EPL big 6, this team have really held some big 6 teams to a classy draw and some crazy wins over them, just that there are still some errors to be corrected before they're start doing very well as required. Yes, we should know the team is rebuilding and they’ll falter in some matches but that’s part of the process, In the game against Brighton they were pretty playing better till the Red Card incidence which involved a key man in the team’s midfield, that disrupt their play and they struggled of course, but then they still won the 3points which is the most important thing, despite playing with a man down, one of their key players for that matter. |

Yes, I agree that Napoli's chances of being in the top 4 are still very wide open with many matches remaining in this Serie A. It's just that their journey to be able to do that will not be as smooth as last season, yes there will be a lot of obstacles they will face to make it happen. Last season, we saw their striking differences and can be the toughest club in Serie A. But this season is much different, they are still struggling and they have to change coaches when their new coach has not passed the half of the season. But then again, their chances of being in the top 4 are still wide open.
Napoli made a very wrong choice at the beginning of this season by letting go of Spalletti and they're paying for it currently cause the replacement they go for Spalletti was no where close to leading them to defeat their title and I don't blame the new coach for conceding a defeat at home against Inter, cause he inherited a team that was getting low on confidence level and would need time to impact his own philosophy into his team. Intermilan really showed there class in the game, though Napoli's defense was able to keep them from scoring but the couldn't maintain a strong defence line althrough the first half of the game, Intermilan dominated them a gave them little chances to get a goal, this season they're the strongest in the league and most likely to win the Serie A trophy, I believe with the rate of their consistent performance against big teams they'll be successful in winning the trophy. |

No one doubts that Bayern Munich can win their postponed match against Union Berlin, in terms of quality Bayern Munich is much better.
However, it is still too early to say anything about the title, this season is still quite long and indeed Leverkusen's draw against Dortmund is profitable for Bayern Munich to be able to replace Leverkusen at the top of the Bundesliga standings.
Leverkusen's draw against Dortmund was very fair for both teams, even though Leverkusen played better in this match, it must be admitted that Dortmund's defense worked very well in this match.
And this is a match between 2 top Bundesliga teams so of course it's fierce and it's only natural that the result is a draw, that's fair enough for both teams.
Well the thing is that, now that Bayern Munich have discovered that they've got a very tough rival(Leverkusen)that could put an end to their Dominance in the Bundesliga liga, I don't think they would want to joke with any team, whether playing against a mediocre or tough opponent, and now Leverkusen have closed the gap by getting a draw I think I that would boost their confidence to remain consistent and get past Leverkusen. Leverkusen to grown in the Bundesliga to become a threat to every team and even the league giants Bayern Munich, all thans to their manager Xabi Alonso and his good philosophy, well Dortmund really tried to get a draw against them, it shows how serious they're for the title race but anyways I think the main race for the title this season is between two teams, Bayern Munich and Leverkusen. |
