Yes, Real Madrid are one team that will be wanting to secure the league this season and yes, they are having a difficult time this season due to injuries but with the break from the UCL it’ll give them a good run for the league title and help them secure their spot well on top of the league, yes these Girona is one team trailing them but I think they won’t have the strength to match Real Madrid especially in terms of quality players and squad depth. Yesterday was really a feast of football.We saw a lot of goals in the matches and frankly they were all exciting.Twente failed to defeat Rotterdam who were down to 10 men. In the 45th minute Rotterdam, who were down to 10 men, managed to hold on to the match with goals from penalties in the second half.Twente could have even won the match if they hadn't managed to score in the last minute.
Feyenoord managed to beat their opponent Heracles with 4 goals away from home.We cannot say that the opponent was not very effective.Despite being away, Feyenoord dominated the match and won a comfortable victory.
Ajax started to recover slowly.Ajax hosted PEC Zwolle at home.Ajax managed to go 2-0 ahead with Brobbey's goals and left the match with a draw.They had a chance to win the match but they could not take advantage of it.It would have been better for them if they had won this match.Losing points in these matches is a bad result for them if they want to finish in the top 3.

Lewandowski definitely still wants to play in big competitions like the Champions League with Barcelona. So he will definitely not rush to move to any team when he currently has a good opportunity to play in the Champions League. Every European player always wants to play in the Champions League. Even some players who are in clubs that are relegated in their domestic leagues always move to better clubs that have a chance of getting into the Champions League. I think Lewandowski does too. He definitely still wants to play and achieve many things at his age, which is no longer young. 35 years old is actually not that old compared to Luka Modric at Real Madrid who is 38 years old. So I think Lewandowski will still be able to play European football for at least another 2 or 3 years. But I agree that this season Lewandowski is really not as good as in the previous season at Barcelona. I think it will be difficult for us to predict, especially since the draw for the round of 16 has not yet been held. even though the team from the Spanish League has 4 representatives, that doesn't mean the other teams will be easily defeated because there are only a few contestants in this competition. Even though it's not a good record, Manchester united can avoid defeat in this match because if their defense is not strong, Liverpool can certainly score goal in this match, but Onana performed better in this match by not conceding.
Unfortunately for Liverpool because last week they were able to lead the standing but they were not strong enough to maintain it. After watching the matches this week, I saw that many teams had swapped places with each other on the standing. Even in the lower teams, Everton is increasingly confident by winning consecutive match in the last 4 match which has kept them away from the relegation zone.
I won't really blame Liverpool for yesterday's match result against United. First, record has it that they've not really been much goal scorers against United at Anfield and technically, sometimes game results are in line with old time records. Also United lost their advancement to the UCL round of 16, and have also lost their last game against Bournemouth. They only needed to find a way to cover up those loopholes. They did good in that regard no doubt, at least they avoided another 3points shortage. For Liverpool, they've been good this season and still have possibilities to gaining more points so maybe the result wasn't expected but it shouldn't stop them from pushing to do better in subsequent games. Yes, the share of point isn't needed at this time but it just have to be made up for. They've got a battle for the top spot and they need not take chances. Their focus are in two trophies, so they have to keep their games in mind and not slack back again. |

Talking about the strongest performance at the moment, Leverkusen is the club with the strongest performance without being defeated, but if we talk about great clubs, Liverpool is part of one of the strong clubs in the UEL.
Leverkusen has achieved success from the first time the UEL match started until now and is still able to remain consistent without being defeated, even yesterday Leverkusen managed to secure another victory, beating Frankfurt.
So there is no doubt that we speculate that Leverkusen will be the strongest candidate to lift the UEL trophy this season and no matter which club does not qualify from the champions league, switching to the European league will not be able to stop Xabi's enthusiasm which has ensured that he will win the title in the Bundesliga and UEL.
Unless Sevilla does not qualify for the champions league and is eliminated from the European league, Leverkusen will definitely have a really strong challenger because we really understand that Sevilla is a very experienced club in the UEL and is even the club that has won the most titles in this competition.
I really can't wait for the next round to start to see which clubs will look really strong in the UEL this season.
At the moment, Leverkusen are seemingly the strongest team in the UEL, although they've got Liverpool too as a threat but judging by this season track record so far, they've been able to subdue all teams and have had a greater percentage of victories too. Currently, the have higher odds of lifting the trophy, even if Liverpool are Sevilla can still be a little hurdle in their journey. The two later teams are more experienced in the European tournament and Leverkusen are more strength filled to go into further stages in the competition. Their ability to do well in the normal league to is encouraging. Now it's possible that they've got eyes on both trophies and the chances are same. Their only setback in the league will be if Bayern Munich catches up and maintain the tempo as them. And for UEL, personally, I would vouch for them because the other teams are not necessarily a match to their ability to perform at a good range. |

If they sack Ten Hag and get a new coach they might not have the desired results. I think sacking him now is gambling because a new coach will have it start building the club from the beginning. And I also think that Manchester United will get the best coaches at the end of the season. So they should be patient with the coach till the end of the season and if Ten Hag can manage to get the support of the players they might end up getting a Champions League slot this season.
Many United fans keep blaming Onana for the poor results of the club because of his constant mistakes. But they fail to understand that a weak team will make the goalkeeper to be prone to errors. A weak midfield and defence will open up the goalkeeper to constant attacks which will affect his confidence. I think Onana will regain his form if the club fixes all its loopholes.
Manchester united board shouldn’t use the fact that they got out of the Champions League and sack Erik Ten Hag, the problem is not with the coach, moreover they faced alot of injury crisis and other Internal crisis that hindered their performance this season, also their are some lazy players in the team that's disrupting their performance and they’re the ones causing the whole issues for the manager and making his managerial role being threatened. If you noticed the squad united used in playing against Liverpool yesterday you'll notice that there's a big difference since most of those lazy players like Rashford, Martial, Lindelof and Bruno Fernandes were not involved, they might had lacked much experience but the played with passion and zeal to protect the team from losing to Liverpool, however Onana which majority claimed was the problem was the one who saved them mostly from losing in yesterday's match. |

Alot of teams would take advantage of the January window which is fast approaching, even Leverkusen too would want to add more strength to their squad to enable them challenge well for the title race, but the problem is not about bringing in players into the squad but signing the right players that would create a huge impact when they come in, not one that would be having difficulties adapting in return making the team lose matches. |
