Buy low sell high, this is the best strategy.
Do not look for over-complicated trading bots, strategy based on exotic indicators or some fancy Wall Street guru technical analysis.
Just buy low and sell high if you want to trade.
Only consider that trading is a job like all others. Be prepared to lose everyhting and ask yourself why only 5% of traders actually gain money while all the rest loses most of their starting sum.
Easy to say, hard to implement, it's the basic principle but nothing more than that. It's only theory, and it's hard to conduct in practice. I've traded for quite a while and was successful in most of my trades, managed to make a decent profit each time. However, most times can be unpredictable, and if you're not careful enough, you'll end up losing more in the process.
2662  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: August 11, 2021, 10:37:07 AM
My own motivation during this pandemic is only to earn from bitcoin, i have no longer able to go outside to earn money, the situation did not allow me, thats why i decided to totally earn from home. I think i will survive from now until three years next, but if the pandemic not gone soon, will be more people suffer and dont know what to do to earn.
World need big movement together to arise.
This is very important for most people, especially for people who want to survive in their lives because here now the times are difficult in every way and of course encouragement is needed so that you don't always think negatively and always be optimistic about living your life.
some countries have now started life with a new normal but there are still restrictions such as keeping a distance and still wearing masks but that's okay this is certainly a good start and hopefully this continues so that normal life can return and everyone can get back the life that has been taken as a result this pandemic
I don't really mind the restrictions, however, I'm noticing an increase in cases the past few weeks, and it's really concerning. Yesterday, we had approximately 4,200 new cases in Greece, the highest we ever had, with restrictions now being put locally. My main concern now is that if restrictions are being put now, in August, what's going to happen in a few months, during the winter?

I'm really hoping things don't take a turn for the worst, but it looks like we're going to have another lockdown soon.
2663  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always take profit on: August 11, 2021, 08:17:21 AM
Sometimes, it's best to sell them at an early stage, due to the hype they create when they first launch. I had two different tokens, which had some kind of value when they first launched, I decided to hold for a while, but then I forgot about them, their value was zeroed.
For most of the altcoins and tokens, I agree that taking profits as early as possible must be a good thing. IF we go for waiting then we will lose value and I have few coins and tokens which finally got delisted from exchanges hence now I am unable to encash them. So, taking profits time to time in this crypto space is more important.

Some people do argue like the December 2017 must be a right time to take profits for all bitcoin holders so that they could buy back by December 2018. In some sense, they are all right but being a long term holders, I never plan for long term/short term trading of my bitcoins.
Indeed. Selling it early will possibly give you profit. You might earn profit by selling it early but you can gain a small percentage on it. You need to have strategies and techniques on doing this especially market prices is not stable. Sometimes, it experiences downfall and sometimes market prices will boost and increase. If you want to wait until prices goes higher then make sure that the coins you are holding is worth the wait. Because sometimes other coins and tokens lose value and finally got delisted. If your not sure that those coins is good for long-term then selling it time to time in crypto space is very important.
The same thing also happened to me, a few weeks ago, when the Iron.Finance platform was hacked. I unstaked my coins and received a few Steel in return, it wasn't worth much at that point, but it was still worth something. I sold every single coin and the next day, its price had plummeted. It's best to sell quickly if some coins/tokens don't look too promising.
2664  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: August 10, 2021, 09:50:14 PM
This forum is a great place to make money many here earn money from signature promotions or gambling sites I make some money through literacy promotion and crypto trading you are right that there is no guarantee of how long the signature campaign will last so I have chosen to trade with the signature campaign. Every day comes a little bit of profit from trading which never disappoints me and is a good place to earn online.

Agree. This forum and the signature campaigns here have been a huge help to us; many of us have earned money, and I'd say it's a lot because the total amount I've earned in a month from this signature campaign is much more than the minimum wage earner in my country. In terms of trading, I do it as well, but I don't think it's for me because I'm losing money, which I understand is a part of the game, but I'm still learning from it. If I have more money to play with, I'll continue sooner. Trading is extremely risky, but if you understand the risks, you will be able to earn more.
This forum and the knowledge I've acquired through it is what enabled me to have a separate emergency/savings "account", aside from my bank account/payroll. I've made decent money through signature campaigns, some of which I still have, because I was holding them, while the knowledge I acquired here made me invest into mining a few years ago, which resulted in a great profit.

I'm planning to make a thread explaining how I got here, and how I've managed to earn what I currently hold.
2665  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Polio on: August 10, 2021, 03:46:53 PM
The most logical thing to think about is this "if the polio is not caused by the virus, then the vaccines will be ineffective... But the vaccines had been effectve for a time now and eradicated the polio... sooooooooo"

I think he's starting from the premise that all vaccines are ineffective. He's hoping to prove that vaccines have never been effective in the past, therefore the Covid vaccine is useless, too.
However... the proof has failed quite dramatically on his first try, Polio. Perhaps next he'll fail to prove why the smallpox vaccine is ineffective. Or he might go even bigger, and fail to prove that life expectancy hasn't increased dramatically around the world since the advent of modern medicine. Let's wait and see.
It won't be the first time he's been presented with the life expectancy argument. He just thinks he's right no matter what you say. Honestly, it's frustrating to see such a large amount of people believing in stupid arguments like these.

Thanks to vaccines and modern medicine, life expectancy has risen dramatically, let's also keep in mind how often it would be for babies to die after birth.
2666  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: August 10, 2021, 09:38:48 AM
Have you checked out Revolut? I've seen that it works in Europe, and they offer both a virtual card and a physical one. The physical card issuing costs approximately 10 euros, if I remember correctly, and is delivered to your house within a week. I'm using it myself and never had any issue.

Hey Ultegra134,

I have, but they currently do not allow BTC to be transferred from external wallets.

Coinbase allows it however their debit card is classified as a credit card when checking the BIN.

Thank you
I've only used them for euro transfers, I know you can purchase BTC through them though. If what you're saying is true, you'll have to transfer to an exchange and then withdraw to Revolut, it's too much of a hassle. Have you tried the Binance debit card? What exactly do you want to use it for, I haven't really understood what you're aiming for.
2667  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: August 10, 2021, 08:40:51 AM

That goes along with all vaccines, they do not have 100% efficacy, however, they can certainly assist you in case you get infected, chances are, you'll avoid hospitalization and/or a ventilator. Masks should continue being mandatory, especially indoors, for both vaccinated and unvaccinated people.

More bullshit.  You people just pull anything which sounds like it will help you agenda straight out of your butts.  No wonder people don't trust you.

Here's a Google Translate from this article:  https://www.maariv.co.il/corona/corona-israel/Article-855728

Quote
The director of Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem, Dr. Kobi Habib, spoke today (Tuesday) with Anat Davidov on her program "Where's the Money" on 103FM and addressed the differences between the current wave of illness and previous waves: "The third wave had a significant load in a short time, which did not happen this time. Most of our patients are adults over the age of 70 but not only that, over 90% of them are vaccinated. "

Dr. Habib said that he opened another corona ward at the hospital after the first one began to fill up: The jump is significant, something that has not happened to us for several weeks. "

He said that at this stage the situation is still under the control of the health system, "hospitals are far from collapsing, but the situation is getting worse. The infection rate today is over 1.3, which means that if nothing is done now, the situation will continue to worsen.

The carnage starts after the mass injections start.  It's more and more clear that 'Delta' = 'adverse reaction to the injection.'  I said a year ago that this is what they would do.  The breathless mainstream media fear-mongering about 'overloaded hospitals' has remained a constant for the last year and a half.  What's changed is that now there really are people in the hospitals rather than the ghost-ship hospitals which citizen journalists were finding all over.

You do realize that you are talking crap all the time, right? Virus mutations are something that is natural and is bound to happen, with or without vaccines. The new strains may reduce their efficacy, in order to prevent new infections, but, the majority of patients remained mild, thanks to the vaccine.

Similar to the influenza virus, which is having a new dose administered every year, the Covid-19 vaccine will probably need a new dose to cover the newer variants, for the reasons I explained before. Even though this article isn't 100% a valid source, it's still pointing out that vaccines have helped with Covid-19, but you are just pointing out what you want.

It would also be wise to look at the statistics, via Worldometers. USA alone yesterday, had over 100,000 cases, with 300 deaths, while a few months ago, USA would have a couple of thousands of deaths per day.
2668  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: August 10, 2021, 07:56:54 AM
I have heard a lot of opinions ... many are pro vaccine but also many are against it ...
And some don't even believe there is a real vaccine ... What about you ?

There are divided opinios on effectivness of vaccination and some incidents reported in US where people got infected despite vaccination but I think vaccine ( all vaccines with no exception) can not totally protect you from convid-19 specially delta viruus which is latest version of covid-19  and speads very fast but still vaccine protects you from adversities of it, I mean from hospitaliaztion and ventilator. We should  continue using Masks until world becomes totally  free from this pandemic.

At least we will be able to put off our masks when all this is finally over, but how does one downgrade from the vaccine if he wants to?

Mandatory masks are ok; mandatory jabs, mmmmm  Roll Eyes

Again, I'm happy that the vaccine is helping elderly people protecting them and preventing hospitalisation, but it is just not for ALL.

I get what you're saying, but vaccinations are the safest and fastest way to get out of this situation, anyone who is healthy should get the vaccine.
2669  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: August 10, 2021, 07:33:44 AM
I was looking ways to move to another nation (I am not really amazingly happy in my nation but turns out other nations all have their own problems). And meanwhile I found a guy who wrote a whole page worth of ecommerce jobs that you can do, basically products that you can sell, from ebay to etsy to many different places, mainly instagram as well.

You can buy very very cheap jewellery (not the diamond stuff, just stuff you can sell for $10) and sell them online at an instagram shop basically, 3d printing, making soap, selling shirts you designed, selling old stuff online for others, making some art and selling that, wood cargin and burning and sell on etsy, I can keep counting but basically just have a room in your house for online business and you can spend maybe 20k-30k on capital and then do maybe 20 different business and hope to make more money with them, meanwhile grow each other with the help of each other as well.
The internet and social media provide immense opportunities, you can literally sell almost everything. A few years ago, I would obtain bicycle parts from various foreign websites and then proceed to sell them through national forums and Facebook groups (Marketplace didn't exist back then), I sold every single bit I bought for reselling. On top of that, I would also sell on eBay, if I wasn't able to sell locally.

On the other hand, it required quite a bit of research when buying these parts, but I never got disappointed.
yeah right, There are many opportunities especially in the sales part. Finding the right niche to sell can bring very decent amount of profits, but you really need to pay attention with what are those potential niche that have huge audiences that will follow  you and support you, buyers interest would give you that earnings you are aiming for.

Not just that but also online services and trading, those also a good source of online earnings if you manage to find the right venue and the right business.
Certainly not an easy way to find the correct niche, you'll need a lot of experience and knowledge on your subject. In my case, I was actively cycling for more than 5-6 years and was paying attention on the market, thus, I knew what kind of parts would easily sell and could turn into profit. However, it's not something I could do 24/7, since it wasn't stable enough, there were times that I couldn't find anything interesting to flip for profit.

Hello,

I hope you are well.

I was wondering if anyone knew a company that issued an actual debit card please? (Verified using the BIN)

I am based in the UK.

Any help would be great.

P.S. Apologies for posting in this thread but I thought it would be most relevant, rather than create a new thread.

Thank you

2671  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: August 09, 2021, 09:52:15 AM
In my country because of pandemic, food prices increased some percentage but not doubled. Although many people have difficulty caused of this pandemic and every areas implements lockdowns, others may capable to buy foods at the current price. Mostly, meat  always the number one to increase the price depends on the availability of supply in the market. Hopefully this pandemic will end soon so that we can go back to our normal life and to recover our economy.

Here in my country, the only food item which witnessed an increase in price is chicken. Other items have remained largely stable - other meats, fruits, vegetables.etc. And here we import most of the foodstuff and therefore if there was a global increase in food prices, then it should be first felt here. But I am yet to notice any such thing. However, as a result of the crude oil prices going up, overall the retail prices are increasing everywhere. And if your national currency is weak, then it will amplify the impact.
I'm not really keeping track of prices in the long term, I do observe them when I'm shopping but not monitoring them. However, here in Greece, I've noticed an increase in price in snacks (Chips etc.) and beverages (Soft drinks, tea etc.) and a few other hygiene related stuff (a few shampoos' I noticed). It's really frustrating that now with the pandemic and the quarantine measures, that prices are increasing instead of decreasing.

At the same time, wages have gone down, while the job market is hideous and full of exploitation.

2673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always take profit on: August 08, 2021, 10:27:32 AM
I learn from my experience how bad my way when trading or receiving from bounty campaign and airdrop project, always hold and never try to sell and get profit until all my coin assets holding not have value. I think with trading better to sell when raise higher price and take profit above 5% or 10% without waiting until 100%. This better way if got little profit than have hold later without unknow when our assets back to higher price again.
I didn't have the same experience when holding tokens. Sometimes, it's best to sell them at an early stage, due to the hype they create when they first launch. Additional income can be obtained if the person really intends to do it, I personally am now involved in selling used goods through Facebook, anything can be sold as long as it matches the buyer, as for the items I sell ranging from electronic equipment, helmets, motorcycles and many more, as long as there is a will there is a way.
With the advance of social networks, almost everything can be sold online, fast with no hassle. Facebook Marketplace has received a lot of attention the past few years and is now one of the main tools if you're willing to sell something. On top of that, there are many groups and pages for selling and buying items.

When I moved out, I sold multiple old car parts and electronic devices I no longer used, which I never thought they would be sold so fast.
2675  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: August 08, 2021, 09:39:02 AM
The signature campaign they managing took not 2-3-4 weeks ot get paid but it is 7-8 months to be precise so yeah that is 2 months in totality in which some of the participants are asking about that and yet @lightlord does not even comply to anything instead going online and blinded the participants with  a bonus for the late payments amounting small percent of one week and not the total 7-8 weeks lol.
so whatever he faces in real life yet he must be aware that people here is also needing their money from engaging in his business.
I do agree that it is quite late, lightlord has been known to pay out very late, later than it should be, but can you ever say he doesn't pay? He does pay every single time, it is just very very late. So, anyone who joins this signature campaign or stays in usually knows that they will be paid, but very late, and they join knowing that.

I am not saying that this is okay, I am not saying that it should be fine to pay late, it should be paid right on time just like every other place, but I also think that this is not a proper signature campaign that everyone joins with full heart anyway, this is like the place you go to for in between situations, your last signature campaign ended? You are looking for a new one? Well get this one meanwhile and then you can end up with a new one and carry this until that day. In this case, being paid is enough, since it is a very tiny amount that they are paying as well, it is never a problem for me.
I do get what you're saying, Bitvest is the second campaign I'm participating after being inactive, with the first one only lasted 10 days. It does need quite a few posts to achieve a decent pay, but I don't really mind that. It's a stable campaign that has been going for years and I believe will be active in the future. I acknowledge that Lightlord delays the payments, but as long as I get paid, I'm okay, since I'm not really using that money in the meantime.
2676  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: August 08, 2021, 08:47:43 AM
My country is faced with Cryptocurrencies regulations and Centralized exchanges are not allowed to transact with banks directly so, I offer a kind of humanitarian services by paying Bitcoin enthusiasts in my community in fiats with my Bank account and you could term it OTC Trading that's the only source of income for me online currently. I'm open to more as I'm not well skilled in Digital technologies to offer a valuable service in the service board. For now I'm very comfortable with the little income I get from there.
Most countries have regulations when importing money from abroad, which is an indirect way of imposing taxation. My country, Greece, doesn't have a direct way of taxing cryptocurrency, however, I have a few thousand dollars worth of cryptocurrency, but it won't that simple to deposit such amount to my bank account, I'll definitely lose 20-24% in taxes.
My country's is different, we use Binance P2P to acquire Bitcoin and trading there is similar to daily bank to bank payment. Transaction reference is done without giving the purpose which it's meant for. So, there are no hidden charges attached.
There is an indirect way to avoid having a deposit from Binance or similar exchanges, through Revolut or other international banking services, such as N26. However, the issue is that I'd be asked to justify on where and how I got such amount of money coming from abroad. Possibly, you could get away with various transactions of lower amounts, below 500 Euros each for instance, but I haven't tried to be honest.

The so called vaccine is nothing more than a larger scale Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment
We always knew that be the case, 30% of all vaccinated received a placebo.

Citation needed really bad

placebo are only placed in clinical trials, not for the roll out of any drugs/vaccine made.  Wink

If you to stupid to operate a quote button you in desperate need of a vaccine  and not a placebo.
Alternatively you can watch an hour long interview with Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of mRNA vaccine technology.
Inventing the thing he knows thing or two about it.
https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/censored-dark-horse-podcast-bret-weinstein-robert-malone-inventor-mrna-vaccine-technology/
I know that for a fact, that no matter how many of your theories are proven false, you'll still support them. If you spent a few minutes doing some research, you'd find that Robert Malone, ISN'T the inventor of mRNA vaccine technology.

Still, just because that article you posted supports your conspiracy claims, you'll simply believe it.

2678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: August 08, 2021, 06:27:53 AM
No, he won't regret that for the rest of his life. He will regret it temporarily but he won't bring that forever, he might bring that for a long time but I doubt that he's going to regret that forever.
He's going to remember how reckless he was and that's for sure.

That's just money, you can earn money but if you lose your health because you can't live a normal life anymore, that's bigger than the money you lose. Losing big money is not good, but we can always move on and live our life, try to improve our life financially by working hard, and be positive going forward.

There are gamblers who lose a lot of money due to addiction, but eventually, they beat the addiction and live a normal life, some people even still able to return in gambling but more responsible.
I won't say "that's just money". We don't know how he worked hard for that but it's also his fault for gambling that amount within a quick time frame.
The impact mentally that it has given will be there but if he wants to recover, he shouldn't let that disappoint put him into that situation forever since there's still a way to recover it through working and other legitimate means.
Of course it's not just money, 20.000 pounds is at least 2-3 years of work here, taking into account the difference in wages between countries. It's a huge amount of money to lose in just night, it's more than 1/2 of the average annual salary in the UK.

I find it ridiculous that someone risked so much money in gambling.
2679  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is COVID-19 cure possible? on: August 08, 2021, 05:01:04 AM
The best would be to have a light medicine that helps our body to fight the corona virus and makes sure we don't have a severe case. If we can reduce the infection to a mild case with almost no symptoms and 0% fatality rate than we would have already won. Because once everybody had corona we would be immune for the next 12 months. There is a risk that the virus could mutate every year like with the flu, but if we limit its spreading at the beginning it won't be as severe.
What you've said can be accomplished with being vaccinated. It's simple, even if you get infected, if you are fully vaccinated, chances are that you won't have any serious symptoms. Vaccines are a preventing measure, which can also assist in case you get infected. It's currently our most effective weapon against the pandemic.

Didn't expect you to post a valid source to back your claims. Just another WordPress conspiracy website. I did some research and couldn't find any sources to back your claim that Polio was caused by arsenic poison. Polio was caused by a virus, whether you believe it or not. On top of that, I couldn't find anywhere that the vaccines were tested in orphans.

Yes, the Cutter incident was real, and occurred due to a defective vaccine batch which contained a live virus, but thanks to the vaccine, the disease was contained.

Your so-called article, shows no scientific evidence and is pure nonsense.
