2661  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Little Surprised! on: April 09, 2022, 02:45:30 AM
It could be that the market is exhausted, we have seen the price from mid to high $30,000 to $48,000 so that is a huge jump already. And so investors could have been selling at proportionate to get some profits. Nevertheless, the support is strong at $43,000 and it's not easy to be broken specially with some good news around like you mentioned. So I guess we should wait for the $50,000 threshold.
2662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 09, 2022, 01:35:42 AM
Why people is really that interested on whether this fight would be postponed again or not? Pretty much sure that they had make out some arrangements behind about those lawsuits and if we cant see any
information or news about it then much sure  that they dont really like for it to be known or exposed to the public and since there were no announcement in regarding on this issue then its better that we
should not stressed out ourselves whether this one would be a significant possible problem or not for it to affect the upcoming fight once again.

Don't get them wrong.

They just want an update. Not because they are seeking the real score and status of the fight, it means they are interested in the postponement. Others are just concerned because why those updates are not in public. Most people are looking forward to making the fight happen and since no news, after all, they become worried which is not actually wrong.

I doubt there will be any changes from now on as the fight is just a few weeks' sleep. Let's be positive that this time, Casimero will now be able to fight without any problems.

Yeah, I don't think that this will be cancelled because Casimero is not going to make it in this fight. This has been settled already and his team is doing everything they can. Casimero has been training based on his vlogs so no problem at all.

And it will be a total disaster for him in case the fight didn't proceed for unknown circumstances. He will be strip of the belt and maybe his career will take a back seat. So everything is on the line for him here.
2663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 09, 2022, 12:57:23 AM
^ Yeah, Inoue love to go toe to toe as well, that's why their style make this fight very interesting. Donaire will used his counter punching skills specially his left hook and we will see if Inoue can hold his chin against that or he will buckle down a bit if he felt the power of Donaire. On the other hard, if Inoue will land his straight right or even his jab which has power as well, we will see Donaire's respond.
2664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 08, 2022, 11:27:48 PM
Ok it Nick going to the semi-finals without breaking any sweat as Michael Mmoh withdraws due to a right adductor strain and he will be facing Opelka, so I guess this is where our bet will go. Nick still the favorite though, might be good to throw some money on Opelka, to pull an upset. Tiafoe and Isner playing currently.
2665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 08, 2022, 04:41:17 AM
I think crypto.com has already done it's share promoting bitcoin to athletes already and it's just a matter of time before any other companies and or sports athletes are going to pay and accept bitcoin and other cryptos.

So why not? athletes are good investors as well (not all of them), so maybe they are willing to accept it in the future because they know that chances are high crypto's are going to continue to rise in the future, so win-win for them.

As he progresses higher the spotlight intensifies along with the pressure and
expectations from other people. Managing that is important and having
the right people around is key.

Would Nadal eventually after retiring from playing become a sort of mentor to the
likes of Alcaraz or become part of his team fulltime?

Possible, I think we have seen throughout tennis history that a former player becomes a coach or mentor to someone and that someone become the top seed or at least reaches the pinnacle of his career at the number 1 spot.

So hopefully this can be true in the case of Alcaraz, having the Nadals on his back, it will be a good combination and a win-win situation.
2667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 08, 2022, 12:48:19 AM
Just try to analyze the age difference,
Murata 36 years old
GGG 39 years old.

not much of a difference, right?

I have pointed this out before that's why I don't understand why age is a factor and considered a disadvantage for GGG. 3 years gap is really nothing. They are both already past their prime.

GGG is also around 35-36 years old when he fights Canelo in his super-prime status but still, the latter struggle to beat the sh*t out of GGG.

Like I always said, Murata's only advantage is the homecourt and the full support of Japan's people on his back. GGG is a tough wall to defeat and having a strong moral is not enough as an advantage.
Having the crowd wont really be enough as we all know but the boost up because you are fighting in your home country plus having that support will really be giving out that emotion but wont be enough on beating GGG>

Its not surprising that people would really be looking for the factors specially on age because we know that it would really take some toll on boxers performance.
Cant blame them though but GGG could still fucked Murata on this fight without any doubts.

Mentally it could give him a boost, we know that athletes wanted to give a good show for their fans, specially if they hear the cheering, for sure Murata might come alive  in this fight.  Yeah, if GGG wake up in the right side of the bed, he could messed up Murata real bad in the first half of the match. Rounds 1-6 might be GGG and taking control of the match, and unless Murata can dig deeper and with the support of his fans, maybe he will make a comeback but he might fall short.
2668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thiel: Warren Buffett is a "sociopathic grandpa from Omaha" on: April 07, 2022, 11:20:01 PM
I think we should understand why this so called old traditional fart really anti-bitcoin. They have been in control and according to them, they made their billions using the old way. But now that bitcoin and the rest of the crypto market are challenging the status quo for what? 10 years and specially in the last 5 years or so, many investors are shifting to crypto and this grandpa wanted to keep the power they have been holding for years by attacking the market in the media. But so far they are not successful, on the contrary the more they attack the more crypto gets adopted, how ironic.
2669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance saves Sky Mavis, the creator of Axie Infinity after hack on: April 07, 2022, 03:59:26 AM
It's good to hear though that Binance is in the rescue of Axie after that hack.

And it's interesting that this is somewhat an inside job? Because that's really sad and there's no way that you are going to stop it if the criminals is inside.

But yeah this is a welcoming news because even our holders and traders of Axie in our local exchanges have lost money too in this hack.
2670  Economy / Economics / Re: Anonymous hacker's group fight against Russia on: April 07, 2022, 02:36:04 AM
I doubt that is going to be enough to stop the war, such promises could have been enough to stop the war from happening in the first place, but now that Putin has decided to cross the line then I think there is no way to stop this until Putin gets whatever he wants out of Ukraine, after all even if Ukraine does not join NATO now, Putin will want guarantees this will not happen anytime soon, and for that most likely he will want a government friendly to Russia to rule Ukraine.
They are making such effort against with Russia via cyberattacks and other exploits online but its true that it wont really be just enough on stopping the war but what they are doing is still commendable.

Peace talks is on the process and lets hope that this war would be over soon.Sanctions are already in left and right and other progressive events is happening on negative manner.
Lots of question do raise up on what would happen into the economy of RUssia if sanctions and cut off ties would be more that severe and lets see on what would happen.
Peace talks without a ceasefire in place at least to me seem to be incredibly problematic, since they make reaching an agreement incredibly hard, since not only soldiers keep dying but now there are accusations of war crimes against civilians which were perpetrated by the Russian army, so those events make negotiations more difficult and hardens the posture of both sides as both blame each other for those events, so I have lost any hope this war can be resolved through those peace talks any time soon.
Even myself that peacetalks shouldnt really last out for several meetings or negotiations which is something pointless on having these things but at least they have considered on having these negotiations or peacetalks which might really able to stop this war completely but it seems its a bit pointless or useless due to those things that you had mentioned above which is really indeed currently happening
which would really result into further mess and this would make this war wont end anytime soon.

Yeah, but it seems that Putin is firm so I doubt that the negotiations are going to last or will it be successful. And we all know that both sides doesn't trust each other so no point in a peace talk unless that there is someone in the middle that will brokered this deal.

As for the anonymous hackers, they've already proven how effective they are are far as cyber war is. So this might continue for a while, we may not even know it, but there could be some hackers within inside Russia as well who are helping their fellow anonymous hacking group to penetrate and disrupt Russia's cyber capabilities.
2671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: April 07, 2022, 01:55:50 AM
^^ Knock out artist though, doesn't look for an early knock out, it has to come and they don't want to force it otherwise they might get hit by one hail mary punch that will change the complexion of the fight.

So Ryan might be looking for a knockout, but it it doesn't come as expected, he needs to just play it and let Tagoe make that mistake that he can take Ryan's punch and then boom, perfect left hook.
2672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 07, 2022, 01:20:31 AM
I can't also believe that he's more famous than the monster Inoue himself, Murata is viewed as a hero in Japan. I can't know for sure why but my best guess would be that he gave honor to Japan when he acquired the gold medal in Olympics.

Naoya Inoue is a Bantamweight Champion where weight plays at 115 lb to 118 lb.

Ryota Murata is a MiddleWeight Champion where weight plays at 154 lb to 160 lb.

That will tell us why Murata is more famous than Inoue. The upper the weight class, especially a Title Holder, the famous they will be.

Murata's WBA Super Middleweight Title was a vacant title previously held by Canelo Alvarez. That's also one of the reasons why Murata is more recognized and popular compared to other boxers in Japan.

I think it is also that Murata has been in the game for so long now, he has traveled and fight in the US way before we even heard about Inoue even campaigning in the States. Nevertheless, Inoue could be the next Japanese boxing superstar no doubt about that.

So this is still very interesting match, and although GGG is the favorite, Murata is a good fighter in his own right.

15-year-old tennis player Michael Kouame slaps opponent at the net after losing in ITF Juniors tournament in Accra. This is very rare to happen in tennis. There is no clear information on what reason the player slapped the opponent. This should not happen and should be heavily punished. Doing such act at this young age is really a bad approach towards the game.

15-year-old tennis player slaps opponent

Damn, I watched the video so it's not clear as to what really happen in the game that might have tempted Kouame to slap his opponent. I haven't seen this kind of disrespect to an opponent physically. There is verbal abuse and that is very common. But for the customary handshake and then you gave your opponent a slap? he should be punished by all cost by ITF here.
2674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 06, 2022, 06:44:18 AM
Of course, it's a more difficult period to make a profit, but I think the harder you work, the better it will be. With what I've been through, it's not that difficult as there will still be small opportunities for you to invest and make profits, but I find it more effective than farming stable coins. It's really stable and profitable. They have a much better interest rate than the bank, and I always advise my friends not to bank when investment channels become difficult, simply learn more to have more opportunities.

Well there are speculators that can still make a decent profit in a bear market because they have the experience. But for the majority who wanted to try, it's going to be a difficult path for them. So they have to be very careful in this bear market. Others might just continue to accumulate in the cycle and buy cheap altcoins and they for sell later when we are in a bull run.
2675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 06, 2022, 05:44:36 AM
Big things to come in the future from Alcaraz! He's capable of playing a physical game and has great technique as well! Just hope he can stay injury free. Few years ago, Hyeon Chung was the hottest prospect and he won the next gen finals as well like Alcaraz, but just couldn't shake off injuries and now he's become obscure. Hopefully, not the same case with Alcaraz.

Alcaraz is a big talent but we have a lot of young talented players out there, so we will need to wait and see who will really breakthrough and start winning grandslams. Till date, I don't really see anybody (except for maybe Medvedev) who will able to dominate the field in a similar way as Djokovic, Nadal or Federed did.

I agree that Medvedev was the only one so far who did standout amongst the young generation of tennis player that will replace the old guard. But so far, he has faltered, recently in this tournament wherein Alcaraz is the winner. So all the attention has shifted to Alcaraz as there are too much hype around him but he was able to back it up with a huge win in Miami.
2676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: April 06, 2022, 02:19:24 AM
^^ Thurman is just lurking in the shadows, he just come back from a long layoff and for me his latest win against a balloon up Barrios is not that impressive. He needs to fight quality fighters fight in the division before he can fight for the belt again. So right now, it's Spence, Crawford and Ugas as the top dog and maybe they should fight each other first and then Thurman builds up his resume again before he can fight anyone of them.

Maybe Thurman can fight the loser between Ugas and Spence instead of having a rematch, the winner can move forward and face

Crawford, this would be a good chance for Thurman to aim for the belt if he wins, then waiting for the loser again, then challenge the

overall belt holder. Just a wild opinion though, but for now, everyone's eye is on this upcoming fight. A winner takes all fights that will

add a good hypes to the winner's resume and accomplishments.

But Thurman doesn't have any bargaining power right now, he doesn't have a belt and just coming back from a long layoff and just won against un-rank Barrios.

So money wise it is not a safe bet for whoever win in this match. So they should really aim for the next belt holder which is Crawford to unify all the belts in this division and of course to make more money.
2677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 06, 2022, 01:22:17 AM
Ok, watch this press conference to announce the fight:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhEbVTqBGu0

As you can see there's already a heated argument between the two, hehehe. Yeah, and this is going to be a war, winner becoming the undisputed champion.

That would make this fight very exciting to watch. Kambosos needs to collect one belt only to become an undisputed champion but Devin Haney is sure a tough opponent and he should stay focused like what he said in the conference. Kambosos looks so confident, I like that, it means he believes in himself that he can beat Haney although I think Haney is the favorite to win.

It will be an easier way for Kambosos to gain another title in case he'll win this fight but I'm sure that Devin Haney will do everything to defend his title so it will surely be a tough match. If we'll look at Haney's previous fights we could see how aggressive he is and that's something that Kambosos should be ready for.

George is good at taking out the strong points of his opponent and so is Haney. But it seems that Kambosos is prepared for what Haney will offer in this fight. Haney doesn't is not a good puncher, no power behind it at this weight class but he cover it with his technical abilities. On the other hand, George has the power, it was evident in the Teo Lopez fight. For me Lopez is one of the biggest puncher in this division but George was able to take that out from Lopez and then he himself dishes out one of the worst to a champion in this division. And now that he has the belt, everyone will go for his head including Haney but I think Kambosos will win this fight.
2678  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: April 06, 2022, 12:43:51 AM
This pump will run day after day as the Op described, which is $3 billion to start with. at one point this move will be the point at which BTC will rise above $50k this week. BTC is still holding $45k/$46k today if the close occurs at $46k there's a great chance that $50k will be reached.
This news is currently being discussed, especially on twitter. I'm sure they will be very serious about continuing to buy Bitcoin until their target is achieved. all of our hopes for bitcoin to break through the $50k price will surely come true soon.

Luna Foundation Guard (LFG)  is no doubt buying bitcoin continuously but this does not mean that they are the only ones pumping the price. Their buying orders are giving a big support in the market and retailers & other investors are also buying bitcoin. Bitcoin needs to cross the psychological resistance of 50,000$ and then we may see a big strong bullish momentum towards the all time high. Do Kwon decision of buying bitcoin in order to back up the UST has suddenly shifted the market back on the bull phase and we avoided the bear market for the time being.

True, but we can't discount the fact that when they released this in public, the price seems to pump, from lower $30,000 to almost $50,000 right now. I will not call this a bull run though, we haven't break the big psychological barrier of $50,000. Maybe if it will be broken and then the run continues, perhaps the bulls is back. But be very cautious as well as there could be some entities riding this and trying to manipulate it from behind.
2679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 04, 2022, 01:43:33 AM
If I just say something about your discussions, Donaire has been a champion, beat a lot of prime boxers, loses some including to Inoue, but it just shows that he is dedicated to his craft because he has reach the pinnacle of it.

So as far as dedication, there is no question about it, he is still motivated ever since his breakout win against Darchinyan. As for his social media, every boxer has an account with boxing and non-boxing followers. So it doesn't mean he is not dedicated just because all of his followers is non boxing fans.
2680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 04, 2022, 01:06:58 AM
Alcaraz has just win Miami Tournament! 2 set vs 0!
7-5 6-4
it was not easy on first set but at the end he is collecting a well deserved title.
It was not really hard to bet on him since the other match they have played has been clearly win by the Spanish.

The odds offered on Alcaraz winner against Ruud are not high, but the Spanish seems to be the favorite.
There is only one precedent between the two players.
About a year ago they played a game that ended with Alcaraz victory (6-2 6-4) even if it was another surface much more suited to his playing characteristics.

Personally I will try to play a bet during the "live" match hoping for a 10% more odds.
It is a risk (because I could also get 10% less) but it is worth it to maximize the final result.

Today the women tournament ends with the match between Osaka and Swiatek!
I have my idea of how the match will end, but I keep it to myself Wink

It was a great win by him, to get broken early in the 1st set and to break back later
and go on to win the set. The 2nd one was easier for him, breaking Ruud's first game
and it was not too much trouble.

The interesting thing well, one of them anyway was his calmness to serve out for the match,
it was like pure belief he was going to win.

All our bets were fulfilled, I'm sure Trofo picked up better odds on Alcaraz early in the 1st set
after he went 0-3 down!

Good win, yeah, he deserves this tournament, he has been playing solid like Swiatek. Just like what he did against Tsitisipas, down in the first set, was able to make a huge comeback. But this time, he was really calm and know what to do in the first set as he didn't want to and playing catch up again.

And the score was enough to hit the -3.5 handicap so I'm very a happy camper right now.
