1701  Economy / Speculation / Re: The real bottom is yet to come of BTC on: November 24, 2022, 09:13:20 PM
^^ We have been attempting to break $18,000 in the last couple of days and it seem we can't do it. People are going to sell and short bitcoin when they see that there is such attempt. So the range could still be in the $15,000-$18,000 till next month and I wouldn't be surprised if that will still be the norm till next year. Or at least we have another break out run to $20,000 at the start of the first quarter.

So yes, do DCA, or any strategy that you think is best for you as far as accumulating Bitcoin as it's current start. Prices are very low, still discounted and there are still a big chance that it can go lower. But at least with DCA, it's a win-win for us.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 24, 2022, 08:55:46 PM
I'm sure adjusting to 122 from 118 won't be a big problem and he can adjust easily to it. Not unless he will have the same health status as Casimero that struggles to catch the 118lbs at the target date although not unlikely to happen for Inoue.
Because it is the hardest thing in boxing, the adjustment of weight either above or below your usual weight and still maintain a good body condition is not that easy though. Many struggles on that phase just to make a fight.

True, there are boxers that also struggles when they move up in weight, they seems to look like overweight on the next division. And I guess that's what really separates legendary boxer to just ordinary boxers, because legendary boxers such as Pacquiao, Oscar Dela Hoya and Floyd can go up in weight and somewhat carry their power and win against natural boxers within that weight class. Hopefully Casimero and Inoue can go up without any problems at super bantamweight.

That also separates them from the ordinary boxers because the likes of Manny Pacquiao and the ones you named are truly born to be a boxer, it's like fate has already selected them that they will be a legendary boxer once they grew up and achieve a milestone that will separate them from the ordinary boxers. As the cases stated, it is truly difficult to jump from one division to another because in most cases, a boxer can climb the next weight class, but his power and skills won't be going with him. Unlike these legendary boxers, they made it so easy jumping through different weight class while defeating the champions.

Hopefully Casimero and Inoue can go up without any problems at super bantamweight.

We will find out about that soon. Casimero already made the move, Inoue will be up next when he is already finished collecting all the belts in bantamweight.

Yes, although this is just one jump from their 118 lbs that they supposed to fight, I don't see any problems from this two boxers to make it comfortable as super bantamweight. But as you have said, we will have to fight it out first.

Naoya is going to fight Butler as 118 lbs to unify the belt, yes that is good for us boxing fans. But what we really wanted to see is Naoya jumping to 122 lbs, a new division for him and together with Casimero shake it up a bit and make the division very competitive with those two going up. So it's a win-win for us boxing fans for next year and this division will be watch by experts and casual fans.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 24, 2022, 08:38:49 PM
But regardless, it was really good to see Manny and DK being chosen as his first exhibition opponent. So that's already a big money coming for him and maybe DK will still continue to fight in exhibition matches in the future, at least to earn some good money for him.
This will make him popular because he is fighting the only 8th time division world champion. Winning the fight is not necessary, but at least he just have to give his best to make it an entertaining one, it's just an exhibition game but it needs to be a clean fight where we will see a clear winner.

That's right apart from this the exhibition fight is for charity purposes.
I am a Pacman fan and I miss seeing him box again, for me seeing Pacman back in the ring is entertainment in itself.
After Pacman retires, Pacman fans will surely miss seeing him in the ring and in action again.
And I think for DK this fight will definitely boost his popularity on social media.
And what's more, this is a very rare opportunity for DK to fight one of the Pacman boxing legends.
I'm interested and can't wait to see how Pacman and DK will provide entertainment during this match.

Yes, but he really retired from professional boxer, and Manny Pacquiao is truly one of a kind boxer, a boxing specimen that we will not see maybe in the next 50 years, 8 division champ. Nevertheless when all the exhibition matches come into play, sooner that we think that as fans, we will see Manny again but this time it will just be like that, for fun and entertainment.

DK, on the other hand, won the sweepstakes when he was chosen by Manny, so for sure, it will boost his social media present. And who knows, fans of Manny might follow this Youtube star. Let's see who will be the judges and the referee here, we are definitely curious who is going to score it from the sideline.
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: November 24, 2022, 08:11:43 PM
Hype is necessary in order to sell the fight, so it's not something new, they can throw trash-talk against each other and that's just normal.

Yes you are right that mate it's obvious that Davis will be the more favorite in this fight because he is the champion and Garcia will be the underdog  but for me Davis will win in this match as we all know how he fight and also he is is undefeated in right now so it's a big advantage for him to win in fight as he can defeat Garcia easily by his power and good strategy.

Obviously we are thinking that Davis is favorite and more likely to be the winner of this match.  But we should not underestimate Ryan Garcia for he has proven himself to his previous opponents.  Besides his height and reach advantage (Ryan Garcia) is huge which can be the key factor in Ryan winning the fight.  Look at the height difference, a 10 cm difference , (168cm Davis, 178cm Garcia), and the 3 cm reach difference (175cm Davis, 178 cm Ryan)  is enough for Ryan to execute his outside fighting style.  If Davis is unable to fend off the jobs, straight and hooked of Ryan Garcia, and if Ryan maintains the distance between them, we might see Davis kissing the canvas if ever Davis can't absorb strong punches of Ryan.

Ryan Garcia talking about Davis's unable to reach him makes sense because of his reach and height advantage and if Ryan plays it smart of keeping Davis at bay with his job and straight punches together with his footwork and lateral movements.

That is the keyword there, play "smart" against Davis, meaning he has to used all the physical advantage that he had, like height and reach and make it very hard for Davis to come inside because that's how Davis knocking out his opponent out, getting closer and then boom, quick punch, end of the fight.

So Ryan should make the fight in the middle of the ring as well, then uses his jab more often to let Davis feel it and make him uncomfortable. And as the saying goes, style makes fight and this one is one classic example of it.
1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: November 23, 2022, 05:04:45 PM
After the tweets of Elon musk, the market response in very good manner. So it’s seems the market is back to the good form now. It’s essential to hold for some days, till the market responds is good and affirmative by most of the traders. Stock market is entirely different from the crypto market. Because the maximum profit from crypto was the dream to stock market. Stock market has a slow growth and crypto currency had cumulative growth in short period of time. So the response of market of crypto currency is aggressive one.

Yeah, but still the price is just above $16,000 so there's nothing to celebrate from Elon's tweet and maybe this is just temporary or it could be another trap.

Hold or better yet why not buy in this current price. Stock is different but we are somewhat correlate with it, actually all financial and traditional market is still correlated with crypto, we are just very volatile as compare to them. So we will have to wait, it's going to be a long and hard grind for us till we see the next bull run in couple of years.

I've missed him getting into the ring as well and that's why seeing him go back to his major craft in his early days is a good thing. After the presidential election, a lot have said that he should focus on his current post as a government official but then he just can't resist doing other things that he's done before and one of them is boxing. For DK, it's an advantage to him that he's able to have time and even box with Manny Pacquiao on this charity match.

Not just an advantage but it is an honor too to fight the one and only 8-Division World Champion and the legendary Manny Pacquiao, not all famous fighters and boxers can have the chance to box with a legendary boxer in the ring. Which also made me curious about DK Yoo, out of all famous fighters or boxers in South Korea, why him? Is he really that famous to attract audience apart from Manny Pacquiao himself?

I speculate that he is really famous in South Korea, or at least a lot of followers in his social media that Manny readily accepts to fight him this December. Or maybe he is connected that he has somewhat known Manny or at least very close to the Pacquiao to be able to secure a fight with him in his first exhibition match.

So yeah, take it as a honor and opportunity to be with in the ring with the legendary boxer. Not al have the privilege during Manny's professional career.

1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: November 23, 2022, 03:13:01 AM
I might be more interested about new casinos showing their proof of money because they have no reputation. Old and well known casino companies have a name and reputation to protect, therefore they would not want to tarnish their image by withholding or delaying payments. I think most of these renown gambling companies have enough funds and financial backup to carryout their financial obligations effectively.

I would suggest gamblers stick to gambling companies that have built a good reputation in this forum. You can also ensure that you carryout a proper financial checks by all available means before you deal with any casino. But more importantly, don't deposit or keep large amount of money in your casino account/wallet.
While it is true that new casinos will be more at risk of facing some financial difficulties and as such it is more important for them to do something like this, we must not forget that the reason we are even thinking about asking for information like this is because exchanges which had good reputations are showing with their actions they are not worthy of their reputations, so if at some point casinos begin to do this it would be nice to know that information from casinos with good reputations as well.

It could be a trick that these exchanges have been running, even top tier exchanges might have problems in the future. Binance started a movement, proof of reserves, but I haven't follow if they have proved that they have the money to back it up 1:1 or if other exchanges have follow their lead.

For gambling casinos, if might be different though, we've seen how they know how to protect their investment and their bankroll. So I doubt that they will go bankrupt and that they can't pay their regular or average gambler to whales.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: November 20, 2022, 03:28:22 AM
I think its better for OP to lock this thread, we have the latest Tank fight discussion, and it's again a different Garcia after the fight we can open the thread again to continue to discuss the Ryan Garcia - Tank Davis fight, The Hector Luis Garcia obviously is a cherry-picked fight but the guy is undefeated and can hold against tough opponents/

Gervonta Davis VS Hector Luis Garcia SAT, JAN 07, 2023

It does mean that Ryan Garcia vs. Davis is not finalized correct?

That is correct, I'm under the notion that once Davis win against Hector Luis Garcia, Ryan will be his next opponent. Although our big question is why Davis need a tune up fight that is close to his fight with KingRy in May. Maybe the May date might be push a little bit further to give time for Tank Davis to recover and train for Ryan Garcia. And I understand the confusion because he will be fighting boxers with the same last name. But Davis can boast that he beat both of them later.

Ryan Garcia will also have another match before this highly anticipate fight between Davis right? I’m not sure though but it can be a good preparation for their big fight. Anyway, Davis seems to be the favorite here looking at the numbers but it can’t tell the result, we know that both of then are undefeated and great, so this up coming fight is really exciting, Ryan Garcia should start preparing now and look for good strategies to beat Davis. I’ll go for Ryan on this match, against the odds.

I'm not aware that Ryan will also have a tune up fight before the Davis clash.

And that is why it's a surprised to most boxing fans here that Davis will have another Garcia in his calendar. Nevertheless, it shows confusion as it was just days before they announced a Ryan Garcia fight is almost done or have been sealed already. And then Hector Garcia came into the picture.

I know that Davis has some problems with the law, and with that, are they anticipating that he will be found guilty, that's why they push for the Hector Garcia fight first?
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: November 20, 2022, 02:28:50 AM
Hello guys, as an attempt to protect new or old users on this forum , I think its mandatory for gambling sites to show proof of money they are holding in reserves  . Unless casinos converts all deposits to a stablecoin , excluding UST hahahah , from year to date most of them should be running on a loss as most utilized crypto coins are down by atleast 65% and that includes Bitcoin .

There will be more and more accusations  created to existing and also new casinos.

Goodluck,Be safe and smart out there!!

Some of them have been in the business for maybe around 9-10 years, others are new like 2 years.

However, it's not like this is a exchange wherein you don't know where your money is, in casino's you know that when you lost, your money is going inside of them. And there's no such thing as casino's being liquidated, I haven't heard of casino's losing big time in a day to a gambler. I think this is only applicable to cypto exchange though for me. Casino is a different story, even in offline casinos, those are raking like billions every day.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambling addict? on: November 20, 2022, 02:02:31 AM
I would say though that there are people who become addicted in the beginning, many succumbing to the thoughts of winning and winning big. But as gamblers mature overtime, some of us might realized that gambling is going to be very harmful for us in the end.

There could be signs in the beginning, but if we try to overcome it, sooner or later you will get rid of this vices.

And so like that rest of the others, I was also a gambling addict in my past life, but in the last 5 - 7 years or so, learn to control my self, listen to the people, those who love us and and shift our priority.
1712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cristiano Ronaldo NFTs(CR7) be successful after its launch on Binance ? on: November 19, 2022, 09:31:32 AM
As for the partnership, I think it's a win win for both parties, even if CR7 is not really playing good as of late, he is still considered as one of the greatest football player of our generation so he can still attract his fans, whether crypto enthusiast or not, to maybe jump on the bandwagon in NFT for him.

At the same time, Binance and CZ will have their exposure again in the biggest sporting event that we have right now which is the World cup.

So for now, both are going to enjoy the fruits of their partnership.
1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis VS Hector Luis Garcia SAT, JAN 07, 2023 on: November 19, 2022, 08:41:48 AM
Ok so for Tank he will have a tune up first first before facing Ryan Garcia, I understand. Do he really need a tune up fight before Ryan?

And if I'm not mistaken Hector Luis Garcia is a career 130 lbs, so pretty much he is going up one division. And with that, it was a mismatch to begin with, Tank has been campaigning at 135-140 lbs. But very clever on the side of Davis to get a tune up fight first because his much anticipated fight with Ryan Garcia in May. He will be as least as active as he can be before that big fight.
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar bribed 8 players from Ecuador for the opening match on: November 19, 2022, 08:21:37 AM
Such a tournament is unacceptable.  Qatar needs to be penalized and disqualified.  If this news reflects the truth, Fifa should investigate it and give the necessary punishment to Qatar.  I wonder how much did those who bribed the opposing team players $ 7.4 million offer to have it in the world cup country?  Never before has a world cup been so poorly managed.

Qatar is the host, I don't think that the FIFA will penalized them in the current tournament, maybe after this is concluded, we can see those heavy penalties along the way for the Qatari team and those who are supposedly involved in this bribery if proven to be true.

And it's just a shame that the host country will do such a thing, in their home soil, and then Ecuador accepting it.

We will see but this is another controversy surrounding the World cup and I think this is big news.
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance, BitMEX and KuCoin have delisted FTX Token pairs from their crypto excha on: November 18, 2022, 09:10:09 AM
I think by now it's obvious that this exchanges doesn't want to touch anything that has FTX on it.

That exchanges has collapsed and so it's token, so just to be sure, this exchanges doesn't have to have problems in that past until FTX has sorted this messed (I doubt thought that they can fix everything).

And with that, really sorry for those holders because their money is gone already.
1716  Economy / Speculation / Re: Generational Buying Period is On-Going on: November 18, 2022, 08:33:19 AM
There is a limit to how much we can buy, that is the only problem most of us are facing. I mean I cannot buy 10 million dollars worth of bitcoin because I do not even have 10k dollars let alone 10 million. Which means we buy as much as we can afford, but as long as those whales do not get in, we can't really do much about it.

Just focus on what we can do with our money and then the rest is let’s all hope that bitcoin will be picked up by the whales again and people would start to buy bitcoin in tens of millions, even a few millions to profit, that way we would be doing a lot better and the price would go up too because of all the bulk purchases making the market go up very fast and creating hype for everyone.

I wouldn't call it a limit though, I guess it's just how much you can buy with your budget. Work around it, grind everyday, but the reward will be worth in the future.

And so it could be like less than $100 per month, just because that is the only amount we can allot to buying Bitcoin, and it should only be BTC, not shitcoin or meme coin or some altcoin. WE should just focus on buying Bitcoin as this point, in whatever way we can, as I have said DCA, or maybe if you have our Christmas bonus already, maybe you can try as little as 10% and then HODL.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: November 18, 2022, 07:50:55 AM
^^ That's part of it I guess, no one wants to accept the blame for a fight to not happening as big as this one. But at least we have heard the side of Crawford, maybe it's just half truth or wait, I'm still interested to hear though as who is that hedge fund manager willing to offer them guaranteed money of $50 million, maybe it's just a bluff on his end, hehehehe.

But yeah, December 10, we shall see if Avanesyan is really good as advertised by Crawford as an opponent. Or will it be just an easy fight for him and then his critics will go after him for taking an easy route.

You got some point but I don't think that Crawford was indeed bluffing when he told Al that there's someone out there who is willing to fund the fight, he won't be doing that just for the sake of pressuring Al and the latter is quite smart too and won't believe a single word without a proof. Crawford might have said all those words to save himself from the blaming game.

It's an open secret in the boxing industry that Al Haymon is very powerful and mysterious entity in boxing. And in his revelation, someone whisper to him, and this guy is under PBC that he needs to be careful on dealing with Al since he has no manager or someone that knows the ins and outs of boxing. And that he might be taking advantage of Al. And basically that's what happen, with no guarantee money. And that's why Crawford pitch that he knows rich personality willing to give both him and Spence $50 million, just a matter of how much they are going to split it up. But Al says no, and obviously Crawford didn't agree as well and that is why he is going to fight Avanesyan this December and then Spence moving forward with in house money fight with One Time Thurman.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: November 18, 2022, 07:23:43 AM
I will also go with Tank here, and he is used to fight tall fighters, so I doubt that there is an advantage of Ryan in terms of height and reach. And this fight can really end in a knock out.

And like what Ryan said in the past, he wanted Davis because he will get the respect in this division. And since the Crawford vs Spence has died down, this could be the next biggest fight, hype has build up even before the actual announcement of the fight date. And it's good the the network has sit down and talk, , Showtime will handle the telecast, but it is available on DAZN, but the PPV sales are separated.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have Lucky Casino? on: November 18, 2022, 03:21:35 AM
I treat all casino's the same, whether online or offline, of course there are casino's that became my favorite, perhaps because of the customer service and I haven't had any issues as far as withdrawal, and maybe I could call it my lucky casino.

But then again, this could fall on the superstitious belief, as gambler is know to have that kind of mentality, favorite colors, numbers, signs etc, and this could also include our favorite casinos.
1720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is here to stay. on: November 17, 2022, 09:44:25 AM
Despite all of the drama with FTX:

This is just part of the whole equation, and I doubt that it will have a long last effect on the market.

And mind you, crypto or at least bitcoin has been dead many times and yet it still continue to thrives.

-Apple pay added USDC support
providing  an easy on-ramp for 500mil+
-Gaming juggernauts like Riot games are building in web 3.
-Billion dollar brands are incoming to the space.

Crypto is here to stay.

Just so happen that this positive news has been overshadowed lately by the FTX collapsed. And still the market is around $16,500 per BTC. But as I have said, there's no need to panic as we will eventually bounce back. Crypto definitely will remain, it's one of the biggest assets of the financial world and it's too big too fall, in my opinion.
