Hey guys, did anyone some research on validity of this project? I still dont know if it could turn into scam, Im thinking about investing but would like to see something that makes it more legit. Is there any summary or overview made by some third party on Rise project or team?
3 good escrows, working testnet, referral system and good development on github with everyday commits. I can say this is legit project. In anyway if this will be scam you can return your money by escrows

Hey everyone. I feel partially responsible for what feels like kind of an acrimonious exchange going on right now on this thread with the Rise team and ICOCountdown. I had no desire to precipitate such a thing at all. And I don't think anything positive will come from it.
I had envisioned a private dialogue between the two parties resulting perhaps in a new sense of understanding and a resolution of what I had perceived to be an unfortunate small cloud. Clearly, there were other factors I was not aware of at the time at work. Things are often more complicated than they appear on the surface.
At this point, I would recommend that we suspend the back and off and go back to just discussing the project itself.
Both sides have had their say. Neither is likely to convince the other. I believe we should move on. If people still have concerns or doubts they are free to communicate directly with the devs. But, again, I see no point in a protracted public back and forth. I had no desire to provoke such an outcome. If I can help to stop it here before it gains too much momentum, I would like to do that.
It is not your fault it is the company records that came out of it: https://companycheck.co.uk/director/908104773/MR-CORMAC-STUART-LUCKING/companiesDo not feel bad, but it is more damning evidence. Check the data for yourself and you will see. Lol your facts is so stupid and I will ignore you all time from This moment. You can open company and dissolved it in the next day because dissolve means "close down or dismiss (an assembly or official body)." This is not mean anything else. And when you want to reorganize your company you also need to dissolve ii if you want to join to a buyer company or dissolve it to separate this company on 2 small companies.

Guy's ICOcountdown wanted us to pay him 4.5 btc to be on his site and we didn't accept his offer. He's trying to ruin a good project here and using any means he can. Rise team is totally transparent. The lead dev Justin is entertaining the idea of a google hangout in which he'll be speaking at a crypto meetup. As project manager of this coin I'll continue to uphold my duties in every way I can for the benefit of Rise. To see what is real, this is our real time organisation platform where you can keep tabs on what is happening at all times development wise. https://risevisionfoundation.atlassian.net/secure/Dashboard.jspaOur chat is open, all of us can be contacted and are willing to talk with anyone. Good decision. Icocountdown now only want money and is trying to FUD all project to get paid from them.... Don!t trust this scammer anymore ....

seems like you are rly stupid and trying to FUD this project as said above your facts don't proof anything at all this is my proof that you are not right

Hey look who it is. It's Mr ICOCountdown himself I am sure Alty will respond to you but I had asked a few of these questions myself way back before the ICO began and I can even answer these myself. I doubt you really did look into this very much. But I think my interest along with others helped prompt Alty to post this on the blog https://rise.vision/blog/post/why-real-estateI'll take a stab at this (off the top of my head) How will funds be delivered back to users? I remember this was a big legal issue. People would not be shareholders in a legal sense. It's just a bonus beyond the core Rise project which some people are having difficulty grasping. But a % would be converted back to btc and distributed among coin holders. Not a bad deal for doing nothing while the Rise team goes out and does all the heavy lifting. How will funds be dispersed fairly and openly. There will be some trust on this. But costs will be documented and transparent. But the fact they are providing something above the coin itself is great. Most people invest in a coin with nothing else as a bonus. Just relying on the value of the coin itself. Who will own the contracts to these houses? (Deeds)Legally it would be Rise or Acre or whatever they decide to use for the name. Again, coin holders aren't shareholders. Who will maintain and deliver these things accordingly. Alty is in charge of all these things, believe me real estate development is no small feat.Well I did some poking around (thank you) and dug up a bit of alty's background in real estate and I found this... however you're questioning other people without even talking about who you really are or what your background is and why you think you can make judgments? I think it's disgusting and a disservice to this community. This is probably one of the best projects of 2016 and you're messing up their chances of a bright future. One of the reasons you delisted Rise was because the testnet wasn't delivering coins (now they are). Waves is still listed on your site and they don't even have a testnet for crying out loud. Nothing like playing favorites. The main reason I was attracted to this project was because I personally invest in real estate. Anyway here are company records. Really? Or... maybe they were bought out? Maybe Alty can provide more info but just because a business is dissolved doesn't mean it's because something went bad. Look at the Assets and Liabilities and compare them. Being in the RE business myself, many companies are dissolved because of various things. Name changes and rebranding, getting bought out by another company, to name a few. Just to say they dissolved because something went bad shows your inexperience and lack of knowledge regarding business. The questions you have are valid. The problem is that you have no true desire to know the answers. Once a business is acquired there is no reason to dissolve a business. That would be the reason why it was running in the first place, to gain funds. Why would someone dissolve a liquid business? Protip: there aren't any. What you're saying is just wrong. It's done every single day. Let's explain it so everyone can understand: 1. FredCorp is a successful and growing business. 2. JoeCorp sees FredCorp as a potential threat or maybe they could benefit from their assets? hmmm 3. JoeCorp buys out the assets of FredCorp. 4. FredCorp is now dissolved and JoeCorp is bigger and stronger. 5. Previous owners of FredCorp are happy with their ROI after building it from the ground up and selling it to JoeCorp. The end! I think cheaters are scared now dont think they care so much! It's wonderful that dev blocked cheaters. Just look on raiblocks faucet, indonesia was first. lol. I'm curious the see how much PWRs we will received without cheatters :-). Thanks dev. I think at least are 500 cheaters or more! if so we will get another 3k power coins to ourself

I'm not asking to VERIFY that my name is correct, I'm asking to keep my address private, that's all!
Stop crying in the confirmation email was written "all data will be destroyed", why everybody has panic dev said only addresses will be published that's why: For transparency, all the addresses will be published together with the "cheater" ones (with reason attached) in our web page.
may be publish just powercoin address and only cheaters email addresses

To aakashsangwan: usually time zone changes by hours and not fractions (2:30am like you said), are you in a particular time zone? Anyway we can't change airdrop to accomodate one user, and it's not fair to start it again. To CryptoMaik: Decred has nothing to do with PowerCoin. Decred had even a non-graphical wallet hard to understand for beginners and more complex distribution, that slowed down everything. Comparing visits and posts is useless because most users were busy getting their spot instead of chatting in this thread. After a first quick check, we found many cheaters addresses, and SURPRISINGLY many left the default answer "What's the full name of PWR?" (xecuter), making us think probably there are paid cheaters who don't know even the name of the coin or very distracted users. For transparency, all the addresses will be published together with the "cheater" ones (with reason attached) in our web page. You can see here a small preview of multiple entries from the same user: You definitely should NOT publish the emails publicly. HUGE security hole, and people will rip you a new asshole for publishing a perfect list for spammers to target. If you are going to publish them (idiotic) you should let users withdraw from the airdrop. Totally not worth it to have your email published online. Also, pretty sure you are breaking privacy laws if you do so.[/font
Not a single email has been published, I don't know what are you talkingabout. Those were censored to show you what kind of people submit the entry, they will be removed from distribution. Rules were clear. Can you atleast re-open distribution so people who want 1 share of it can fairly get it? Once you have removed the spammers and banned them. For whom is asking about re-open the airdrop, we discussed about your request, and I will make it clear. Checking 2000 entry, emails and IP needs a bit of work, it's not something that we can do in a day, we've started and we've already found some "cheaters" like the email I've posted in my previous comment. We can make an example, that in a couple of days we finish to check all the entries, and we find out that 200 entries are fake. As we previously stated we will divide the coins from fake entries to whom have submitted a correct airdrop request. Re-open the Airdrop doesn't make anything fair, for 2 reasons, who has already made the request, can made another one and take more shares, and who will miss it again will ask to re-open it, since he finally gets the share. The Airdrop countdown was posted in advance to let people interested in it be ready for it, if someone missed it or join the Airdrop too late, it's not a reason why we can re-open it. Thank you Fully agreed with you

Gamebet team has been on top of shit from day one and has communicated more extensively than any other crypto project I have gotten involved with. There may be better, but I am not aware of any (let me know if there are any, would be interested to take a look at them). There will always be small issues that come up, especially when they leave themselves so open to communication. This is great for the users and the credibility of the project/team, but opens them up to much more scrutiny than just about any other crypto project team. Small issues that no one would normally hear about are able to rise to the surface due to all the open comm lines. The Gamebet team is going to be paid back ten fold for their wide open communication once this thing hits its stride a few months after the new UI. New people will come in due to the success of the platform and then they will see the wide open communication that has gone on from day one which will just push this project higher faster.
Keep it up guys, this is enjoyable to watch unfold and to be a part of.
That's the spirit my friend! dont be so sure, we will see what happens in next months. Ive seen lots of abandoned projects that devs disappeard I don't see any abandoned project by hero member of bitcointalk like daily

RiSE amount just jumped down shitloads again!!! is the 20% already over, the extension? says 15% now
Yes, 20% was over as of 6AM EST this morning. We extended it for 24 hours. 15% will go until next Tuesday at 6AM EST, 10% for a week beyond that. Then no more bonus. I was more concerned maybe that bug that happened a couple days ago happened again when it went down to 15% as my total RISE went down i think almost 20% when i refreshed , who knows maybe there was some massive new investor, havnt checked yet. + 15 btc in a day from total 150 btc 10% https://blockchain.info/address/3466r4y8FuVUE6FHuCShshQkCYZY3xaqdG

you should try to direct msg Xypher on discord. If nothing else bring it up during the sunday meeting.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'm new to Discord but joined and tossed him a PM, . This is the message i get: "The Steam Wallet code you have entered has already been redeemed. If you have recently purchased this code, please contact the seller for further assistance." But i have not redeemed it. Waiting for feedback from business@gamebet.gg. The problem is that there is no way the dev will know if it is a faulty code or if you already redeemed it or if someone else redeemed it. If they give you a new code you will probably post it here that they did that and crypto being crypto there will be other similar claims tomorrow if some unscrupulous people think they can claim the same and get away with it. How will the devs be able to distinguish then? I doubt they will give you a new code for this reason as it will set a precedent. But you never know maybe they will take the chance and give you a new code. They have promised steam codes for the early investers as myself. Its not my fault they get shaddy not working codes from the site they got it from... i have received my code by email and it redeemed fine

New Team Members and ICO Update:ICO Update:The rise team has been very impressed by the trust placed in our project so far by way of investments. We've passed 150 btc in just over the first week, however there is still a long way to go before we could make Project Acre possible. 1250 btc and Project Acre kicks in as a bonus to Rise holders. We have high aspirations to make Rise into a cryptocurrency that is a cut above most other projects. The best projects are well funded and we are on the right tracks. In order to reward early investors and drastically increase our chances of getting even better funded we're going to extend the 0% bonus weeks by an extra 2 weeks. The 2 week extension will benefit everybody that invested beforehand by balancing things out, if everyone invested with a high bonus % then it's not really proportionate or advantageous for the early investors.... So, the extra 2 weeks of 0% will benefit early adopters. So... RISE ICO will now end on Friday 24th of June to coincide with the release of Rise Mainnet and all coins will be distributed to investors. To recap on how the ICO looks now, nothing has changed apart from an additional 2 weeks at 0%. This week is at 15% bonus. Next week with 10% bonus. Then 3 weeks of 0%. We'll update in due course our texts and videos to correspond with the new date. Again a big thank you for all the support and helping us get the Rise project off the ground, the community is growing and we have almost 600 registered users on the website and not to mention over 400 twitter followers! New Team Members:Nathanael Burchill : DeveloperNathanael is a Junior Developer, he's currently working at a Fortune 500 doing Enterprise Application Development in NodeJS, he's got a rapid ability to learn he will excel at solving complex back-end issues. It's currently at 0.00000155 Less than a penny.
