2681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Guide and Giveaway] Mining Protoshares on Digital Ocean and Giveaway too! on: November 06, 2013, 04:27:05 PM
I have been mining for ages but still haven't got anything!
Is there a x64 client for windows anywhere?  I guess I'll keep plugging away.

If any kind souls want to help out, just not having an empty transactions screen would be nice!

I have always used Lieferando in the past, but in the future I will definitely be using Lieferservice!
I need to get used to the small values, 0.04BTC for a pizza, is that cheap or expensive?!

For heavens sake, please give him the usual caveat of 'what your prepared to loose' etc

Not sure if this is trolling or not.

Everyone who has ever bought Bitcoins on an exchange (and not sold out) is now in profit...

More than bitstamp and gox put together!
2687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did this forum turn uberbullish? on: November 05, 2013, 01:39:10 PM
well we are constantly rising, that seems like a bull market, so we should be bullish!
At $248, we are closing in on the ATH, if you can't be überbullish now, when can you?
2688  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 04, 2013, 07:40:19 PM
I'd give anything to see Bitstamp leading.

You'd give anything to see Bitstamp leading??? Really!?
2689  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 04, 2013, 04:18:59 PM
bitcoin.de is at the equivilent of $236 now.  As it is a marketplace there is no delay for deposits, hopefully this is leading the way!
It usually trades just under the bitstamp price in my experience
2690  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: November 04, 2013, 02:58:36 PM
As an aside from the constant negative talk, I was wondering if you think the ongoing rise in BTCs price is a good or bad thing for neo and bee.
It would be better if it was happening after you started taking deposits obviously, but you have raised a higher $/€ amount than anticipated...
2691  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: November 03, 2013, 06:00:34 PM
I agree somewhat with what ex trader says, but I think it's also worth noting that most people aren't or weren't aware that if they all go to the bank to withdraw all their money at the same time, the bank will not be able to pay them. Also they didn't know that by just keeping money in the bank, they were at risk of having it seized.
In the case of neobee, if the currency backing their deposit completely fails, they will lose their money.  I don't think it will happen, I doubt many here do, and surely anyone depositing won't either, or they shouldn't deposit.
2692  Economy / Economics / Re: CloudHashing - HashRack - Cex.io on: October 31, 2013, 02:40:27 PM
The investment isn't the same as buying a ASIC.  If I buy a 1TH/s miner for $2000 (where does it cost $2000?), assuming I keep it, I need to make up the 2000€ to be in profit.
If I put $2000 into cloud mining, I would get about 100GH/s, but I can immediately trade out tomorrow.  It is more akin to when people buy a miner, mine for a short period until the difficulty is about to rise, then sell the miner (a good idea).

I guess it will always be worth watching the future miners $/(GH/S) so that you know when to sell or buy
2693  Economy / Economics / Re: CloudHashing - HashRack - Cex.io on: October 31, 2013, 01:03:36 PM
The price per GH has gone up 20% over the last week!
Surely the game here is to buy, take profit and sell before the reduction in price per GH cancels out your profit.  If you buy in shortly after a difficulty rise then it seems quite possible that it'll work out profitable.
2694  Economy / Economics / Re: UK - Silver / Gold Bullion. on: October 31, 2013, 09:52:56 AM
For Silver due to VAT you are best off getting it from abroad.
In Germany VAT is 7% of silver coins until the end of 2013, after that it goes up to 20%.

So hang on a minute . . . all this drama is about DONATIONS??? come on the litecoin devs recently collected 20k LTC or something for a client update, and you lot are carrying on about a couple grand worth that got donated in 2012, the guy is evidently working on microcash and intends to release it, and the money has already been donated anyway.

Honestly wtf. Pathetic.

End of the day, Realsolid has come out with a great exchange and must be loaded now.  The initial 5000 Fees netted him 500 bitcoins and the next 45000 should get him at least 18,000 more!  It wouldn't be a great act of charity to pay back the people who helped him out in his time of need...
2696  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: October 26, 2013, 09:17:03 PM
Nice update.  Is everything still running on schedule?
Will you really have your first customers in 4 months time?!

I'm looking forward to the global brand announcement, it could be a game changer.
2697  Economy / Economics / Re: Perfect Altcoin? on: October 25, 2013, 06:29:09 PM
I think something of increasing importance is that mining it does something useful.  Right now we have so much energy being wasted mining bitcoin, when nothing is achieved by mining )other than a capital gain).  Primecoin is a good example that something of use could be done with this mining power, but I tend to think something better could be done.

I am surprised that SETI didn't jump on it a while ago and make their project a coin (unless I missed something and that actually has happened).
2698  Economy / Speculation / Re: Less risk now then ever to buy Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2013, 06:22:38 PM
Does anyone think that it will never be this high or higher again?  I guess almost everyone here assumes it will be $200 again at some point, so don't worry about catching the very bottom, unless you are highly leveraged!
2699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chances of $150 again on: October 25, 2013, 08:49:04 AM
The market is less volatile than it was, now that the market cap is higher.
I think some major news would be needed to move us back to $100, otherwise the bounces will be back down to $170 or so (IMO)
2700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy Fee Shares on: October 25, 2013, 08:43:06 AM
It seems like a good idea and I would like to buy some, but they just aren't as tradeable as I would like.
The MCXfees trade like a coin so I don't need to mess around moving btc around, I guess that is why so few Cryptsy fees have been sold...
