As with most things using bitcoin, it is too volatile a market for big companies to get involved in.
1683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin: Series C. on: February 06, 2015, 08:07:30 PM
It's all good people accepting Bitcoin, but actually being of use is more than being a poor mans NFC payment system.  This is an actual currency that can be used and sent globally.  Millions of USD worth of BTC can be sent around the world for a few cents, why do we need Western Union and the rest? It's a complete revolution, but it is being used to buy stuff online, when really, a credit card suffices for that.

I try! ok tonight 1.FC Köln at 2.3 against Stuttgart.
I am tempted by Augsburg away to bottom of the table Dortmund too, but will give it a miss as I can't jusdge if they have picked up after Christmas yet from 1 decent result at the weekend..

I somehow think Augsburg Dortmund game will end up as a draw! I think Dortmund picked up their game...but draw sounds most likely outcome to me! GL! Smiley
I missed your post, it should have been a draw, but there defence just stopped for a few seconds! It was like they let Augsburg score! Then again they couldn't equalize against 10 men, so they deserved to lose.

Schalke look great value tonight at 2.893, I am betting on them.
This is a good chance to back Gladbach for everyone, given my form in the last week!

Drifting down again, I miss 2013. What will give this price a kick?
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: leancuisine's Sports Picks (489 wins - 210 losses - 51 draws) on: February 04, 2015, 06:20:42 AM
I have Boston Bruins ML for today, must be crazy  Grin
That's a good bet at -130 odds, I just don't see the Toronto Maple Leafs beating the Bruins at home. Tongue
Whoops, meant the Maple Leafs vs Nashville Predators game. Tongue

Mixed up Nashville for Boston. Wink

Nashville currently winning 2-0 too.
Did you bet correctly but post wrong? It's best when you bet wrong and win whilst thinking you lost!
1690  Economy / Gambling / Re: Football and NFL betting this weekend. on: February 04, 2015, 06:10:13 AM
It's an English week in Germany I.e. they have midweek league games.
I'll be backing Wolfsburg at frankfurt at 1.89
And Hanover at home to Mainz at 2.3
Wolfsburg look good after demolishing Bayern and Frankfurt falling to bits against Freiberg.
Mainz looked great at the weekend, but away from home is a different story unfortunately. Odds against for Hanover looks good.
3 draws from 4 games, I lose again, in a bit of a slump now.

I think he is a foreign prince, he just needs our money for a short while, then he will give us more in return, sounds legit!
1692  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short now = make lots of money? on: February 03, 2015, 06:10:50 PM
Hi,

I have no experience short selling but I debate shorting now. Good idea? Anyone with experience? BTC seems overbought...
`

When you short with leverage and the market is moving on you, you will lose all your capital. If you shorted on January 24th, you would have lost 38$ per BTC x your leverage in 3 days.
Just don't leverage with Bitcoin, it is too volatile, it is just waiting to bankrupt people if they over-leverage.  Currencies are perfect for leverage normally, CHF aside!

You mean BTMFATH! Well it's easy to say afterwards, you could have bought the all time high at $300 and done very nicely for yourself.
1694  Economy / Gambling / Re: The truth about Dooglus and his pawn Arrogant. on: February 03, 2015, 06:06:30 PM

I wrote a PM to Arrogant where asked him about my ratings on his site. For now my site is Provably Fair has chat, and Dooglus rate is unfair for that moment. Realizing that Arrogant is Dooglus pawn and that Dooglus will not change his ratings (although to be honest it has long had to do so after understood there is no cheating on my site), and only one thing Dooglus could do what else would even he do to stop us is to withdraw his last money from the balance on my site. So I have changed withdraw rules as chat was added (before PMing Arrogant). It takes about 5 minutes after PM to Arrogant and Dooglus withdrew his money. And what do you think this is also a coincidence? They are both  are trying to spoil by all the ways. And after all this we still have to pay a competitor. I do not know where does this world, but it hurts me to watch that on your forum such people are in great authority.
I realized that only yesterday when I started this conversation. Who needs proof and private messages please PM me, I can not do as these dishonest people and advertise the privates. I am sorry for my english..,

I've been to Just-Dice lately also.  And it is very much what looks to be your classic den of thieves/con artists reminiscent of the earlier coin chat.  We have Dooglus, with his supposedly untarnished reputation, accompanied by a few stoolpigeons.  Arrogant, BayAreaCoins, Klye, and some of the other mods and players, are not much more than pump-a-dumpers and con artists grouping together.  Anyone buying into the whole Clam pump-a-dump is probably not going to like how this could end up.  Remember the last alt-coin Dooglus supported was Doge-coin.
How do you work that out? How can someone steal or con you out of money on JD? I am actually interested to here, because it isn't p2p and unlike say MCX, there is no market to pump and or dump.

finex holding 240

There is still hope

Well, if you're trading on hope I have one advice.

SELL and don't trade anymore.

everything is waiting for the next bull blitzkrieg.

more than 1 year without one Sad
True but it might be more difficult this time with more people leveraged shorting the hell out of it.

They will come up with a way to kick the can down the road, I'm not worried!
Interest free bonds for example.
1698  Economy / Economics / Re: What if there never was QE? on: February 03, 2015, 12:14:22 PM
Stronger deflation, banks would have gone bankrupt, the world would go on.
Instead of facing the problems of the world economy, QE just pushed everything back until everything collapses. At least the rich got richer though, so it's all good!

1700  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoBitco.in - Super Bowl Weekend Specials! on: February 01, 2015, 09:12:32 PM
Here's another example of a prop we are offering!
A two point conversion made                        +365 / 4.65
No two point conversion made / attempted      -460 / 1.22

See more props at https://www.casinobitco.in/super-bowl-props

Right now we are taking wagers up to 20 btc on the game, during the day we will go as high as 50 btc! Bet with confidence on the Super Bowl at https://www.casinobitco.in/sportsbook/nfl
1.22 for no 2 point conversion made seems long, it's about 50/50 if it is made, so a 41% chance of someone trying a 2 pointer, Seattle have 0.1 attempts per game and NE also 0.1 attempts per game. Might have to bet here.
Quick confirmation question, what happens if a 2 point conversion attempt is returned for a 2 pointer at the other end, is that a conversion made?
