I guess the decrease in hashpower and the tight block time (60s) contributed to making it prone to forks lately. Right now crunchpool (p2pool) and coinsprofit are on two separate chains. I don't know on which chain Bleutrade or other exchanges are, but my personal wallet is on the same fork as crunchpool. I don't know why the explorer is offline (has it been like this for a long time?).
There is no "correct" chain per se, unless this is a malicious attack. We must all choose one chain and stick to it. Is angel_investor still around and supporting nycoin?
interesting, what about make a comparison beetwen 2 blockchains we know fork was September 5, found block where fork happened,or more easy both blockchains must be equals to back in time before of September 5 like to September 4.What about use a backup?Maybe somebody have a backup of September 4. good idea, only we need to know who is working on corrrect blockchain,but we could need a blockexplorer besides, a way of have one quiclkly is adding nycoin to multifacet, when they accept a new coin, they make his own explorer, only need a node with correct blockchain.If pool is correct then maybe we can use it to sync if there isnīt problem and pool is agree, after that all sync I could ask to multifaucet add NYcoin......, some idea about why forked blockchain on Sept 5 was? Y'know, there's an easy way to "Sign The Pledge." Instead of trying to keep up with the insane geyser of alt after alt after alt, just settle in with one or a few of them. I do not 100% disagree that altcoins can harm Bitcoin value and how the community is perceived by outsiders. I do disagree to cease the creation of altcoins. This is something quite impossible... lol. But definitely, a good initiative. Everyday new devs launch new coins with poor projects or objectives, pure speculaion. Instead of all this scam, we have coins like dogecoin that can be perfectly adapted to Internet sites, sources... a great way to accept payments and donations. But you have to admint that's really difficult to control all the people rigs and miners... and if they want they're going to continue mining... It is true but I think that each time less peoples will support them, Dogecoin is a True Coin,but today was launched a x13 ninja launch darkdogecoin it is after DOJE,BlackDogecoin,DarkDogecoin the fourth clonecoin launched, so it is a good opportunity to believe and support Zero Hour idea and stop all clones and coins after October 1 St 2014.Wich less coins Dogecoin could rise in value more quickly, I remember it in 250 sat or something like this some time ago.I think that low prices is due to so many coins in market. |
