2681  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Open old waller that is a KEY file on: December 25, 2020, 10:44:53 AM
thank you it was multi bit that was used is multi bit wallet bad ? is it a good idea to move it to a bitcoin core wallet ?

It's not bad, it's simply not maintained by the developers anymore, you won't be able to make any use of it at this point: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2293714.0

Bitcoin core is good, but if you want to stick with lightweight wallets then Electrum would be a better choice.
2682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Private Key on Blockchain on: December 25, 2020, 10:06:18 AM
Thank you for your super fast response! So I just did as described step by step on the other hand where do I find my BTC addresses which were previously on Blockchain?

On the addresses tab, you should have a list with all your addresses:

If you don't have that tab page, go to the "View" menu and select "Show addresses".

If the addresses don't match, then you must've used the wrong derivation path as explained in the 4th step from the guide I gave above.
2683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Private Key on Blockchain on: December 25, 2020, 09:42:39 AM
AFAIK, it's not possible to view your private keys on Blockchain.com unless the addresses were imported. So if you want to export them, you'll have to use your 12 words seed in Electrum:

1. Verify and then install Electrum: https://electrum.org/#download
2. Follow this guide: https://blog.blockonomics.co/how-to-restore-blockchain-com-wallet-into-electrum-f593ec79ab3d
3. Go to the "addresses" tab in Electrum, right-click the address you want > private key > type your password and you're good to go.
2684  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance bonus code on: December 25, 2020, 09:06:30 AM
I already made an account. Don't know if I can still add such a code?

And I'd like to have 20% myself ;-)

EDIT: maybe there is also a deposit bonus or something?

Since it's a new account, you can probably try reaching out to the support and ask them if they could add it for you manually. It's not guaranteed to work but it's worth trying. I know that some services allow that.
2685  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Help recovering Bitcoin from old Json wallet? (blockchain info android wallet) on: December 25, 2020, 08:31:57 AM
Have you tried running their decryption tool? This should work: https://github.com/blockchain/my-wallet-backup-decryption-tool/releases

Download the my-wallet-backup-decrypt-win64.zip (if you're on windows) go offline, unzip it, and then run the executable file.

Once you manage to get the private keys, install Electrum and sweep them there.

If the above solution doesn't work for you, and you're willing to pay a 20% fee, you can reach out to WalletRecoveryServices. It shouldn't be difficult for them to recover the wallet since you already know the password.
2686  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Help: A list of LocalBitcoin alternatives (P2P marketplaces) on: December 24, 2020, 07:01:02 PM
In addition to the above, I'd suggest removing swapngo as well. The site is pretty dead. It only has one offer and a few users and the bitcoin price has clearly not been updated for a very long time.
2687  Economy / Reputation / Re: Isn't bitcoinermatt abusing the merit system? on: December 19, 2020, 12:38:45 PM
Something strange is definitely going on ?

OmegaStarScream did some research a while back ,  certainly looks like merit trading between 2 alts at least ?

It does: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=2651642

Not sure why the email is not showing in the unedited version of his post but it can still be found in google's search results:

2688  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Increasing transaction fee for already sent btc on: December 18, 2020, 05:11:59 PM
Before increasing the fee you may want to see the  priority of that  transaction in the mempool.  Use for this https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/xxxxxx where xxxxx is transaction ID (txid). If the fee is reasonable you still may try    to accelerate transaction  by using either   Antpool's or ViaBTC's accelerator.

The mentioned sites are filled with bots. He doesn't have a chance to submit his transaction, not with the current mempool state anyway.

2690  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: December 18, 2020, 01:11:45 PM
Paypal doesńt even have 2FA.
They are amateurs, and i dont trust them.
why keeping  money there, thats giving them credit

They do have 2FA actually but that's no reason to keep your money there. Just like you shouldn't keep your bitcoin inside exchanges (regardless of the security measurements they have).
2691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a bitcoin profit tool/calculator/app? on: December 18, 2020, 12:11:44 PM
Any decent portfolio tracking app should do what you're looking for[1]. If you find these options to be a bit "overkill" then you should probably use something like this[2] instead.

Upgrading Chrome did the trick. I appreciate the help!

I used the site few hours ago to refill my paytm balance and I have had no issue in the web version from my phone. It's working fine here. There are more services like this and you can try them this time.

I realize that but I had balance in my Bitrefill account. I didn't want to use something else.

Any reason why you don't like using the mobile app? I tend to find it more continent  Wink

I've used the app before actually, and I found it to be very glitchy. I checked Google play before posting this thread, and I noticed that they haven't updated the app since over a year, so I didn't bother..
2693  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paying on Alibaba.com with Bitcoin?? on: December 14, 2020, 06:26:36 PM
Thanks for all those details. But what I can see Coinsbee taking a 10% fee for Visa and Master cards. Which is a very large amount for a small business.  Also, their service provider's review is horrible on Trustpilot.
But I appreciate your help. Hope will get a way.

According to this page[1], Alibaba accepts payments through WebMoney as well. If that's the case, then you can take a look at these sites[2]. If the fees are too high for you, try to check Paxful, LBC, or the forums. I'm sure you will find better rates.

2694  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Neteller and Skrill dont support BTC anymore? on: December 13, 2020, 05:50:51 PM
I haven't used Neteller for a while and I used to make bitcoin deposits back then via BitPay, which is the worst payment gateway in my opininion (kyc, high fees,  wallets compatibility...).
I checked the list of sanctioned countries, luckily, my country isn't one of them. Knowing that this list keeps changing makes me wonder what will happen if you make a deposit then your country becomes restricted: Do these sanctions have a retroactive effect which may lead to banning your account?

No. AFAIK, the deposited funds will go straight to your account balance which you then can use to send to other users. If your country gets banned, you can still use these funds but just not deposit anymore. At least, that's how I remember it.
2695  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paying on Alibaba.com with Bitcoin?? on: December 12, 2020, 08:41:54 AM
Do they allow small orders or there is a minimum? Because I'm not sure about Alibaba but I know that these cards[1][2] work fine on AliExpress. I used them multiple times. And if you need a larger denomination, I suggest you write to them, they might be able to get you 250-500 USD cards.

I personally haven't got any serious problems with the cards before, but I would still suggest checking these reviews first (Coinsbee's card supplier)[3].

It's hard to suggest other solutions when we don't know where are you from, but maybe you could check GetSpendl or order a Paysera card (if you know someone with a European address).

https://github.com/someone235/btc-forks-balance
https://forkdrop.io/using-forkdrop-suite-to-find-my-coins

أعتقد أن البرنامج الثاني يدعم عملات أكثر لكنه صعب التثبيت بعض الشيء.
2698  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Neteller and Skrill dont support BTC anymore? on: December 11, 2020, 10:02:51 AM
AFAIK, the "crypto service" that is being referred to above (and which has been implemented not a long time ago), and the ability to deposit bitcoin to your account are two different things. The latter has been around for a very long time and if it's the one you're pointing to, then IIRC, this has something to do with the fact that they're using BitPay. Are you from one of these countries?: https://support.bitpay.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000123366-Why-can-t-I-use-BitPay-s-services-in-my-country
2699  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitrefill on mobile on: December 11, 2020, 09:45:38 AM
I've been trying to access Bitrefill from my phone for a couple of days now but I couldn't manage to do so...I'm having different errors each time I try to log in:

- Invalid PIN (even though my password is correct).
- Cannot read property 'message' of null.
- Captcha error (when there is no captcha to solve)

Anyone facing the same issue? (I'm not using the phone app, just trying to access the site from the phone).

i'm using now https://1inch.exchange/ i already used it with bigger amount and it works fine. it's decentralized exchange and i advice anyone to avoid all centralized exchange sites especially HitBTC.com, maybe it's not scam, but it's worst exchange site i ever used.

You probably shouldn't use it for big amounts though. If you haven't read the terms of service, you should. There are many banned countries.

I realize that 1inch is a DEX aggregator and you're trading directly from your wallet, but that's still something you should take into consideration if you don't want to have any issues later on.
