1. It depends where you're from, but if you're from the EU, UK, or US I'd recommend going with Coinbase. It's one of the oldest and most reputable platforms out there. You should still make sure to withdraw your funds to a non-custodial wallet afterward (A trezor or a Ledger device since you're buying a large amount). 2. Not much, and I wouldn't recommend doing it either. You're basically giving full control over your funds when you do that. 3. Not really for investing, but if you want to educate yourself about trading and the crypto world in general: CoinBureau and Benjamin Cowen.

This is the platform's latest update (from yesterday): Update 02-11-2022 - BTCpop will be back online around March 1st, 2022. It will most likely have 5 days of missing data and we will be adjusting members accounts on an individual basis. There will be no new updates until Feb. 25, 2022
If they give another excuse on the next update, I'd be very concerned. It's already been a month since they shut down and told their users that it would only take 7-10 days.

-snip-
It must be a technical issue with the site you sent the funds to. You should contact their support instead.
It's worth mentioning that some services require a certain amount of confirmations before crediting the bitcoin, so if your transaction has less than 6 confirmations, that could be the reason.

Although I find that the 30% is a bit harsh especially when they're planning to apply it to gifting as well, I still think that's a better decision than we were expecting since they were originally going to ban it. And none of it is surprising anyway considering that there are talks about launching the digital rupee.

The problem here is that you want to receive payments for a custom token, so you won't be able to use the services you mentioned even if you wanted to since they don't offer that option. I did some research and I found this[1] (MyCryptoCheckout). It's a third-party service though and apparently, you can add a custom token but you'll have to pay for it. It's only available for WordPress however, so unless you have that, you probably can't make use of it. The alternative would be to run your own node and do the coding yourself but that's far from being a simple task. [1] https://wordpress.org/plugins/mycryptocheckout/

You probably shouldn't use an address from an exchange because if you ever decide to change it and the manager asks you for proof of ownership, you won't be able to provide that since you can't sign a message from it. Use a non-custodial wallet like Electrum instead.

No, not as far as I know. It's probably due to laws and regulations they have to follow I would assume? They all require KYC if you reach a certain limit so (and I could be wrong) asking you for an email address for example instead of your phone number would just make it easier for people to bypass these restrictions.

Bitcoin ATMs[1] could be a good way as well. The fees are obviously a bit higher compared to the methods you mentioned, but it is still a good solution if you want to avoid verifying your identity. EDIT: I see that you just added the ATMs, so to answer your question, yes. There are a lot of ATMs that don't require KYC, you just need a phone number to use them. I don't think there are ATMs without cameras though since that's always going to be needed for increasing the user's limits (if they want to) or to scan the buyer's QR code and send him the funds.
If you really want to compete with CMC, a nice-looking UI won't cut it so in addition to what has been said above: 1. The data: I'm not sure where you're pulling the data from, but if you're getting them from any other competitor, it's definitely not the way. You will have to extract that directly from the exchanges. 2. Improving the search function: I understand why would Bitcoin cash show when I write "Bitcoin" but the other way around? It shouldn't work that way. 2. Missing features: There are a lot of features missing from your site, people would only switch to an alternative if it's better. Work on supporting the different blockchains, add more exchanges both CEXes and DEXes. 4. New features: Add the most reputable (open source) wallets for the coins listed there, add withdrawal fees for exchanges you have listed ( https://withdrawalfees.com/) 5. Fix the bugs: To mention a few: when searching and pressing {ENTER} I get an error message showing the file where the problem is (AbstractRouteCollection.php). The exchanges page is also leading nowhere.

What is it that you want to advertise though? Assuming that it's a service/platform that people would actually want to use:
- Ads: You could buy some slots from reputable sites. Not necessarily something as big as CMC or Coingecko, a smaller site like Etherscan should cost you about 1500$ a week or so. - BitcoinPRBuzz.com: It's good to gain some exposure on sites with a lot of readers (would cost you about the same as the above). - Referral system: This would encourage your users to advertise the service. - Renting avatars and personal texts: I realize that bounty campaigns (social media and signatures) could cost a lot, so this could be a good and cheaper alternative.

As I previously stated before, I see no reason why it wouldn't work. I remember linking a card with my Skrill account with a Paysera card that had a different address, a few years back. All I had to do was the normal procedure - verify it by checking the card statement. So although I can't guarantee it would work with Neteller, I think that you should give it a shot since you're out of solutions. Besides, the card does not cost that much. You can also try to send or withdraw the funds to your Wise bank account in case the card doesn't work.
