I don't think anyone is claiming that SA is ONLY presenting evidence, but they ARE presenting evidence.
Interest in bitcoin, or interest in seeing a scammer get his come-upance, either way they sure seem interested in the matter at hand, to all btc users benefit.

I'm not saying it wouldn't if it is true. I hope the community would quickly realize we need someone else or something else representing Bitcoin. But the fact you turn a blind eye to all the terrible things being said by SA members just shows you aren't paying attention. |

Also, Bruce was heavily promoting MyBitcoin on his show. While he claimed that friends and family lost bitcoins when MBC ceased operations, we only have HIS word for that. He was also heavily involved in the BitCoin 'Police', and was able to steer the investigation in whatever direction he wanted. We also only have HIS word that a report was filed with the FBI.
It seems like a classic scam to me.
If I lived in the US, I would be filing an immediate report with the police. I hope US bitcoin users who lost money do file reports.

Well, it is kind of... interesting that the user " bbit" here, who uses a.... posting style that highly resembles Bruce, and who posted here indicating that he was.... part of the OnlyOneTV show, was the person posting press releases on behalf of mybitcoin. Strange... nope, just because I enjoyed Onlyonetv doesn't mean I'm Bruce. The mybitcoin press release was copy and paste into the forum. |

And this week we find page after page after page of incriminating evidence pointing to Bruce being a serial fraudster. It seriously never ends. The funny part is that we have provided more value than 90% of the posters here just by identifying REALLY OBVIOUS scammers, and we don't even care about the future of bitcoins. SA clearly does the following: 1.) accuse people on forums without any context to anything ( mix and match pieces of suppose "evidence" and provides a "guilty" verdict as if they are an internet court ) 2.) get blow back from the forum members from that forum for the shit the provide. 3.) gather everyone back at SA with screenshots and say "look what they did" and get sympathy for their troll cause. 4.) Forum gets flooded with moronic postings about the same shit in point 1. 5.) Attack other forum members and claim they are doing good. repeat over again ...Trolls like you have no credibility and bring nothing to table Bitch Again, you dismiss at hand any of the actual evidence that this entire thing is based upon. It just sounds like you are either fluffing for your "boy" or just retarded. no the difference is I'm not a troll - I don't pretend to be some "internet court" where I can just go around convicting someone and accusing someone. I never said the evidence might not be true but I don't go around spousing it is - SA isn't simply presenting the evidence they are convicting which borders on or is defemation/libel . If you actually check the SA thread, you will find some water-tight correlations based on facts and evidence - either from Bruce, or the people he scammed, or from court records. I've always long suspected this was the case happening on this forum. If you aren't familiar with them here is what I'm talking about: http://forums.somethingawful.com/They are "trolls" who troll each other regarding funny shit and the like but they once in awhile take up causes that attack other people as we've seen today. I think there should something on a "users status" on this forum that signals the member is associated with SA ( as we do with scammer labels) so other forum members know who they are dealing with ( in a good or bad way ). If this isn't done I think we are setting a bad precedence for the future of this forum and yes Bitcoin in general. At the very least create a sticky that lets people know who are current forum members and their affiliation to this group. I know making such a request will bring them out in full force but it's a risk I'm willing to take That is ridiculous, in so many ways. We have our 1st somethingaweful Troll, folks! We should just "sticky" this thread they are going to come out in full force! |
