If I recall correctly, mybitcoin.com users got 49% of their coins back (I was one of the stupid people who trusted some bitcoins to them, by the way).

As the name of it sounds (my)bitcoin - the owners goal was to claim every bitcoin in the world as his hence (my)bitcoin and ended up almost doing it.   Bruce wagner (the owner of it)  would eventually run off with btc booty and go to pataya to spend on booze and little boys it turns out.

I'm looking for someone who can create a way for someone to simply submit say a first name into a field on webpage and have it populate with the name they submitted and a new bitcoin address generated and  attached to that name submitted. That is it for the programming aspect.

Ideally, I would like to find to exchange equity/% of share of service in exchange for the coding. I can explain the idea further upon contact! Thanks for reading!

WOW!   There's always one like you on any forum.    Please note, I'm asking for help recovering my BTC, and not for analysis of how "cut out" for bitcoin one is.  How affluent I am, and how I use my funds is is my own personal choice.   I'm not independently wealthy but loosing $2200 would not put an idea in my head to destroy the walls in my house.  I guess some of us are doing better then others, but then again who am I to say anything.  I'm just a guy requesting help ...

BTW:  Insensitive comments tend to make people loose faith in community.  That coupled with loss of funds might drive not only me but other investors out of the bitcoin realm.

On behalf of the bitcoin community we apologize for Aahzman remarks!  Cheesy

Says it hasn't shown up and its been 2 weeks!  what could have gone wrong?

We both have screenshots  of his client with his bitcoin address and my blockchain wallet transaction to that payment address any ideas?

Only thing I can think of is his blockchain hasn't caught up in his client?

My 80 year old father got a email from Bill Gates the other day asking for all the same info, except for the picture. He thought bill Gates was really sending him money, I told him they were going to steal his identity.

The Drama!  Grin

Probably one of my favorite forum quotes:

If Bitcoin was backed by drama the price would be stratospheric.

Haha great quote!  Grin  Maybe, there is a direct correlation to Bitcoin Drama to the price/valuation of Bitcoin economy as a whole.
