I agreed with you that Bayern's showing in the DFB Pokal was disappointing. Nobody can explain why a team that always does well in the UCL and Bundesliga messes up against a third-division club. An underwhelming result makes me angry. Unfortunately, Bayern had a lot of bad luck and couldnt take advantage of the chances they had. Now they have to compete for the Bundesliga and UCL titles, which looks like a tough task since they havent been playing well lately. The change I thought would happen during Tuchel's time at Bayern hasnt happened. Actually, its been a failure. Personally, I think Tuchel needs to rethink his plans if Bayern wants to save the season and break the DFB Pokal curse.
This is really embarrassing to their fans cause they lost same trophy to Leipzig last season and based on their current form, it was very impossible for them to lose the match before the game started and the odds the bookies gave Saarbrucken was very high, who could believe that Bayern Munich that did the unexpected last week by scoring 8 goals against Darmstadt, would be eliminated DFB-Pokal tournament by a team that's not even in the Bundesliga, I believe the players would be so disappointed at themselves for being eliminated by a mediocre team. I really understand how talented Ivan Toney is at Brentford and I admit that this player has a quality playing style but unfortunately I dont believe that if he goes to Chelsea it will be better because a player talent will be determined by who the coach is, whereas Chelsea is currently in bad situation and whether Pochettino can retain Toney talent at Brentford when he moves to Chelsea.
It also makes sense if Brentford tries to give a slightly higher price because without this player this team would be very bad without maximum achievements.
Toney is a very good finisher last season he really helped Brentford to go far in the league, if not for his actions that got him banned I think they would had been in a better position than they're currently, however maybe he would had been in a better club because alot of clubs would had come in his demand especially Manchester united and Chelsea who were desperately in need of a good finisher like Toney this summer. It seems that Lance has found his game in recent games and started playing better, but they have to play away games against Arsenal and PSV, these will be difficult games and it will not be easy for them to get points in this match. Seriously, I am more disappointed in Manchester United that yesterday for the three goals it conceded against Newcastle because I never expected that to happen because the match was hosted at Old Trafford. You're right, If not for the fact that Intermilan are performing well currently I would've said that Juventus are most likely to win the Scudetto, their only focus is the Serie A tournament and while others are playing during the weekdays they would either be resting or training for weekend games and I believe they'll go far this season,Intermilan has to be very careful cause if they carelessly drop points they could be overtaken by Juventus in the 1st place. Chelsea performance is quite improving, I'm conversant with the Chelsea squad; they're inconsistent due to the integration of new players who are attempting to amalgamate together. These new players have faced challenges and are currently doing everything they can to showcase an amazing performance this season. I'm pleased that to see Myhailo Mudryk, Enzo Fernandez, and Moises Caicedo getting back on track, they're the future players of the Blues; they're truly working together to achieve tremendous achievements this season.
Currently they've improved and are doing very well when they meet some mediocre teams but they're not yet very consistent and I think the players have not really bonded well to communicate better on the pitch, and I believe that's one thing Pouchettino is working on currently, Chelsea fans should trust the process and know that sooner or later their team would start getting a better performance. Manchester United have hired and fired quite a lot of managers ever since Fergie retired, and looking at United's performances this season, it is easy to predict that Erik Ten Hag is going to go in the same way, he'd be fired sooner or later. Having said that, even if he is fired, that would not solve Manchester United's problems, they would still be struggling because the club has already lost its winning mentality and these days other clubs are no longer scared to play United, because they know that they can beat them. I don't know what Manchester United needs to do to get back to glory days, but i am pretty sure it would not happen anytime soon.
The only time Manchester United fans would seize being heart broken concerning their teams progress is when the Glaziers family stops being in control of the major affairs of the club, they're running the club poorly and investing less into it, which is affecting their performance on the pitch, another problem is that most of the executives at the board level are incompetent of handling their jobs properly and the Glaziers don't care so far they're receiving a fat dividend annually. The Spanish La Liga have just experienced 10 match weeks since the beginning of the season which means that there's a lot to play before we can be sure of who wins the Spanish title this season because there's chances of any of the top four teams in the league standings to end the season with the league trophy.
That being said, we can't shy away from the fact that Real Madrid has been the best team in the league since the start of the season and are very much in form at the the moment. Well I think you're right they still got about 28 matches left before the end of the league, so far Realmadrid is the best performing team they've beaten Barcelona in the 1st El Classico match to keep them in the first place, However if they try their best to be consistent for about the next 15-20 matches then they could stand a chance of winning the Laliga title this season, with the kind of forn they've got this season I don't think it would be very difficult for them remain consistent for a long time. If you noticed, last season they didn't put more effort in the domestic league, they performed better in the Champions league but were so unfortunate not to reach the finals, however they've strengthen their squad this season and are more active in the in the Laliga as well as the UCL games, left for me I think they're the most likely to win the match. |
