2742  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: October 22, 2019, 03:34:21 PM
As you can see from the diagram above, the are over 4 billion active internet users, and surely most of them don't have spare money to invest in Bitcoin. But what they can do is claiming the faucet on freebitco.in. It won't make them rich, but at least they can be proud to be Bitcoin holders. Regardless of the amount, for some it's a psychological thing, which makes you feel better overall.

Even the one who are earning good, it is not possible for them spare money from their job and business and invest in bitcoins. If anyone think faucet amount is too low , they could join any bounty etc and do some skill to get some satoshi.

When i came to know about bitcoins, the first thing i did was faucets from FreeBitco.in and that was my first satoshi. I kept on doing a lot of faucets in the beginning. Many of those faucet site have ended or i have forgot about them, but i still have my account FreeBitco.in and i do login it sometimes and it takes me in the sweet memories of the past.

For those who are new in bitcoins and no extra money to buy bitcoins, faucets are blessing for them.

2743  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Campaigns causing lifeless posts in Gambling section on: October 22, 2019, 03:06:58 PM
That kind of posts happens when a signature campaign requires x amount of post in the gambling section whereas these users don't even know what gambling is, posting nonsense just for the requirements.
So if you don't know what to post in the gambling section, just don't participate in signature campaigns that requires it.

I will further add that if anyone is not involved in gambling, he should not apply in gambling related signatures because this will only add to spam. How can anyone contribute to the gambling section (other then this site is good and this is bad), when he have no knowledge about the gambling. Maybe that's another reason why gambling discussion thread is more like a trash.

Another problem is that most of the campaigns and the long lasting ones are relate to gambling. I think more than 60% of the campaigns are for the promotion of gambling sites and there is not much choice.

I would like to re-enter here as i be watching this interesting case all the way through. Coming back to the presumption of innocence, I would say that doubt remains even after plagiarism & more accounts were found. You had a good 10 days trail, but nothing found which can make the doubt into reality.

According to the definition, this case should be closed now.

You probably missed some of the information in the comments.

The facts are undeniable: a group of accounts is connected through the use of the same wallets, through merit, through the same behavior and vocabulary. There are undeniable facts about bounty cheating and merit abuse.

And we ourselves see the lies and deceit that come from be.open: a few days ago he said that accounts sne.su and more^power were stolen, and now he says that he gave (as a gift) them to his friend (the owner of the account farm Bonanzabits/Prod/Kutkh), do you like it when you are being deceived?

Maybe i have missed some information but what about the other DT eyes, they are not being convinced.
lovesmayfamilis has also removed her tag, and your feedback does not matter much unless you become a DT member.
I do not see any further progress on it, unless you dig out something more.
2745  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Double Check Bitcointalk Username Before Download or Invest to Avoid Virus/Scam on: October 22, 2019, 05:55:41 AM
Another way to check if the profile is real or not , is that you can see the details of the users. Normally you will see zero coins, no merit and very less activity for the fake profiles and it will most probably be a Newbie.

Anyways your decision has already been taken.  Smiley  Good Luck
The decision made is hasty and erroneous, and does not take into account the circumstances I have provided here. Tnx.

ps I consider the topic title to be offensive and untrue, it casts a shadow on my reputation a priori. Please change it from affirmative to interrogative. Otherwise, after the explanations I have already made, this statement turns into slander.

Update: limit from now is only 10 posts / day

That will now officially tighten the screws. For people who don't listen what manager says., now it's written in the Rules
I would also suggest to update the OP as well, with this new limit so everyone knows about it Smiley
2748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 21, 2019, 04:55:11 PM
But still considering South Africa was still the number 3 team in tests I thought there would be a good competition. Now the thing is if number 3 team is losing from number 1 so miserably is there any kind of competition left in cricket? On Indian pitches Indians are like monster they can eat up the whole world XI all alone I think.
The ranking is just bull shit, just look at the last T20 series in Pakistan, they were the no one T20 team and Srilanka was ranked number seven and they destroyed Pakistan in all the matches and white washed the series. South Africa is having trouble with their batting line up after the retirement of their star players and they were not able to replace any of the players.

No the ranking shows the correct trend and performance of the team. Sometimes a team can preform less than their previous history, but most of the time ranking does matter.

2750  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Withdrawal Complete "Transaction ID not Found" on: October 21, 2019, 02:35:26 AM
Hello

I withdrew FCT 16 Hours ago from Poloniex given the first transaction "0aa43bcc871be87b13a40375c0e6a143bbfa6760e209e56245dbabfd34cdfe8e"
and then the second transaction "83cbe6feebabd6c5e13c689c47e839692bb9bc73bfd165efd6e01f04c50f66c1" and my wallet didn't get credited. I sent ticket but no update or rather poor support. Please help me.

Ticket #2527020

With Regards

Since your issue happened only 16 hours ago, you need to be patience if you did not receive any reply from support. Also today is weekend, so i do not think they may help you. Don't expect them to reply immediately and solve your issue. You should wait 24-48 hours time after creating the support ticket.

MFahad!

48 hours have passed what's next now. As I'm writing this I sent the second ticket. This action is true or Should I take any other action?

Normally, you should not submit a 2nd ticket for the same issue, if your first ticket is in progress. It is better if you write in the same ticket and ask them to expedite the process.  Also i am not sure if 48 working hours are passed because Today is the first working day after the weekend. I hope you will get the reply from them anytime today.
2751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Rugby World Cup predictions on: October 20, 2019, 04:58:23 PM
One thing which make me surprise me is that the Semi finals are on next Sat/Sun. Why they are taking so many days for the semis ?

They want to maximize the TV viewership and in my opinion, it is not a bad thing. The number of viewers will be more during the weekends when compared to the weekdays. So they have the semifinals on Sat/Sun next week and the final on the Saturday the week after that. And it gives the teams enough time to prepare as well. During the 2015 world cup also they had a similar schedule.

I still think it is strange decision. We do not see such schedule in other sports like Fifa World cup etc. Teams do need times to practice but this much time is very uncommon.  They could have scheduled the two semifinals on Saturday and the final could be on the Sunday. There was no point to stretch the final to Friday (Now where is that viewership excuse, as friday is not a weekend).
2752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Rugby World Cup predictions on: October 20, 2019, 03:37:41 PM
The first one is Wales vs France, which I expect to be a very close match.

What  a drama in this bloody match. This is probably the best world cup match. France was winning by 19-13 but right at the depth Wales come back and won this match by 20-19. Lots of joy and tears at the end of the match. Heart broken for France today.

I should have made a bet on this match. But I was unlucky today and made a bet in favor of Japan. And they lost to South Africa by a very heavy margin. Now I think that I should have chosen Wales instead. Anyway.... may be I'll be lucky with the semi-finals. England will be taking on New Zealand and South Africa will be up against Wales. I'll go for Wales during the 2nd semi finals.

BTW..... todays match between Wales and France was unreal. No other world to describe that one. The red card to Sébastien Vahaamahina changed everything, and France was leading until then. After that they had to play with 14 men and lost the advantage to Wales. Congratulations to the Welsh players including Aaron Wainright and Ross Moriarty. They played like champions today.

Today was an entertaining day as I witness two of the best matches. Wales are really lucky to go through the semi finals. However Japan disappointed a bit as being a host nation , everyone was hoping they could do the impossible and beat the giant South Africa.

One thing which make me surprise me is that the Semi finals are on next Sat/Sun. Why they are taking so many days for the semis ?
2753  Other / Meta / Re: 10th anniversary Satoshi... on: October 19, 2019, 05:33:37 PM
This may sound strange, but theymos may use the Satoshi account to trick people into the tenth anniversary of the forum.
He has done a lot in April Fools so this trick will be amazing and it will make a lot of fuss.
I'd be highly disappointed if theymos would do this, and I expect the chance of this happening to be lower than the chance of adding KYC.

As far as I know, satoshi's account is locked to prevent it from ever being abused, until Satoshi proves ownership.

Even if there is any announcement of KYC on the 10th anniversary, it will be a temporary thing as mentioned by theymos.
What else can be a forum feature which is not the prank either  Huh

I have exactly 3 plans for the 10th anniversary:

 - Another thing which I will make public on Tuesday, probably. It's a temporary forum feature similar to past april fools things in some ways, though not a prank.

2754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 19, 2019, 05:06:39 PM
I think bidding on such matches is absolutely dangerous. There are no established teams or players. There is no record of how a certain player has played in certain situation. Moreover the teams could perform absolutely inverse of what they look like on paper. I think only people with a lot of money are gambling on such matches or maybe citizen of these countries themselves.

From what I am witnessing for the past few years, the cricket betting industry has grown quite a bit, and not bets are being wagered on matches involving little known teams (even in tournaments such as the Women's Champions League Twenty20 Cricket Tournament of Nepal and the Shpageeza Cricket League of Afghanistan). And the biggest comedy is that in more than 90% of the cases, the people who are betting on these teams are Indians and not from the countries where these teams originate from.

Sports (Cricket in particular) Betting has become an industry these days and you will find bets even on the cricket league matches too. Since the introduction of crypto and bitcoin, betting has become easy for anyone. Previously you had to contact the bookie for the bets and it was not save too. Online betting has made every thing anonymous and impossible to track. Cricket is a game which is most popular in Asia and India and therefore you will find more bookies from this part of the world.

You should focus more on reading and do not create unnecessary threads for the information which is already there. Hope you enjoy the stay and journey here on this forum.
2757  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IMPORTANT NEWBIES ADVICE! For your own safety! on: October 19, 2019, 01:53:09 PM
NEVER LET UNKNOWN ENTITIES CONNECT TO YOUR PC WITH REMOTE CONTROL LIKE TEAM VIEWER.

Risks are enormous and could lead to total loss of your funds and/or compromise your data permanently.

Stay aware, stay safe.  Smiley

If you are smart enough, you will not let anyone scam you through team viewer if he is operating the screen in front of you. We should be knowing how to use the software correctly.
Even if you are using team viewer, you should have complete knowledge of it. There is one feature which is called "Unattended access" whereby you just give your partner one time password and the next time he can connect with you PC even if you are not on the PC. So never enable that option.
If you take proper precautions, then you will be safe.
2758  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of ponzi schemes bearing names relating to bitcoin on social media on: October 19, 2019, 01:41:28 PM
I will want to draw attention of newbies towards this scam on social media, the wide popularity of bitcoin is an advantage for criminals.
I got a message from an anonymous person on whatsapp offering me an opportunity to invest in bitcoin and earn twice your investment in no time, this guys confuses you with fake chat of others claiming to have been paid from the investment, which I knew where altered and I did the rightful thing by blocking the person.
I would like to call on newbies not to fall victim on social media in the name of investing in bitcoin
If you willing to invest in bitcoin you can get bitcoin wallet and go to an exchange where you can buy bitcoin and keep in your wallet, very easy.
Planning to double your money in a day through bitcoin on social media is at your own risk there is hardly such type of investment being genuine

Its not only limited to the Newbies but sometimes even the experienced in crypto fell for this scam. It is presented in such a way, that for a moment anyone would be tempted to double their money in no time, but these types of schemes are fraud.

I got a message from an anonymous person on whatsapp offering me an opportunity to invest in bitcoin and earn twice your investment in no time...

If someone contacted you through WhatsApp that means you were careless with your mobile phone number, just as you are careless with your e-mail that is displayed publicly through your profile. One of the most important steps is not to make such information public, otherwise you give anyone a chance to contact you and try to deceive you in any way.

Bad people use all possible methods to find their potential victims, and social networks, e-mails, mobile phones are ideal platforms for modern scams. Do not share such data publicly, do not trust unknown people who contact you to make money and you will be safe.

Getting a phone number is not too difficult for the like minded people. If you are a trader, you must have joined few whatsapp trading signal groups and your phone number is easily visible. Also people can send messages on random numbers hoping to get some victims.
2759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't run for merits! on: October 19, 2019, 11:20:51 AM
I think that mainly people who came here with wrong reasons are mainly trying to chase for merits. They desperately trying to get it because they need to rank up to earn money here. I often see people making very generic guides without putting any effort and they expect that someone will flow them with merits.
I can't say that I don't care about merits at all, but I really don't think much about it.
And in general, I got impression that some people over exaggerate forum stuff, like merits, trust system and etc. It's like they don't have life outside forum. But maybe I'm wrong...

Other than the rank up due to merits, you are considered a quality poster if you have a lot of merit or you are earning merit quite regularly. I don't know it is right thinking but this is the other reason why people are chasing merit. In case you have very good posts and you are not earning that much amount of merit, does it mean that you posts are not worth reading or you are been ignored. This is a long debate but merits are important here.

I think after writing a good post we should not expect it to get merit. A lot of expectations sometimes can make you lazy and disappointed. Keep contributing good and hope for the good.
