I'm just happy that I didn't make the bet for a draw  

Initially, when I checked the score this afternoon, I was a happy to see the scorecard showing SA 15/2. I was thinking that rain washed away the morring sessions and was expecting that rain and bad weather would wipe out few more sessions resulting in a draw. That's when I saw the adjoining words "2nd innings".  

This is a terrible performance from South Africa.

Wow another game with follow on enforced. Love the way India is dominating and that too without actual bowling attack. South Africa has a long way to go to make their team perfect.
In second innings now they are now one wicket down.  

Quinton de Kock and Zubayr Hamza are back in the pavilion and both their stumps are rattled  . Elgar and their captain Faf du Plessis are in the crease and they are only batman that can take this team to a good total and if they are not able to do that the match will most probably get over by tomorrow, with the weather condition in Ranchi i am expecting the light will be a problem and the play is likely to stop within an hour like the past two days.

South Africa is struggling as they already lost a couple of wickets and luckily for them the match is stopped due to bad light, why is there a bad light in the area they are playing as we usually hear rain stopping the play most of time in India and this is the first time i am hearing bad light has stopped play hours before the scheduled stoppage and if there is rain in the next day and the entire day is washed out then South Africa can draw the match other than that i do not see a chance for them to prevent this defeat.

Already South Africa has lost the 2 wickets for 9 runs so it shows the current status of the South African team. I think they will not going to cross 200 runs mark so I hope the Indian team will be going to win the match with innings.

Klaasen just got out too. This feels like a T-20 match at this point. South Africa needs to reevaluate their strategies and replace majority of their team and name a new captain since Du plessis is doing a bad job currently though he is still an excellent batsman.

Yes obviously that was the first example that literally shook me and this is the second. I think if this is the case ICC should find a more appropriate way of ranking teams and providing ratings to them based on more recent performances taking span of 3 years is actually giving pretty falsified rankings moreover home matches should be given less weightage than away matches because teams do make favourable pitches for them in their countries.

Some have even decided to represent the smaller nations such as Netherlands (Roelof van der Merwe, Wesley Barresi, Stephan Myburgh). Even those who stayed behind in South Africa, such as Dale Steyn have been given a raw deal by the team management.

What I feel is that Pakistan needs a good talent showing consistency at batting. They already have a very good prospects in bowling but right now I feel that they are lacking in batting department a lot (in terms of T20) I mean. They need someone in middle order to hit some finishing runs.

I think they are OK in other formats but its just that in T20 they are currently struggling. I think they will change out a lot of things since T20 is just on the edge now.

No the ranking shows the correct trend and performance of the team. Sometimes a team can preform less than their previous history, but most of the time ranking does matter.

Actually team can perform less or more than their previous history but I think home and away matches should be given a separate weightage with away matches being given more weight. It's simply because every team is better at their home ground because they fabricate pitches according to them and it obviously gives them an added advantage so if a team wants to improve their ranking they would definitely play more matches at home than playing matches away isn't it?

The moment they landed in India they lost the balance and you need to find good players that are able to play a longer innings in this format, now a days everyone is a expert T20 player and not much of work is done to find talented test players, this series is gone and it will be a much competitive match when ODI and T20 starts but considering their dismal world cup performance i am not too confident but i am not loosing my hope.

TBH I think South Africa has lost many valuable players like Steyn, Amla, de Villiers and many more. They never really focused into trying some young talents. Now they are going through a point where they don't have much experienced players. Their WC19 show was a flop show, they are continuing the same flop show in Test format as well and we still have to see their show in T20WC as well.

Thats why its important to give youth some chances from time to time when they face a lower ranked teams. It develops them and slowly they also are able to get some international experience.

The selectors have to be blamed here as they are not able to replace young talents when these players were in the team and groom the young players and now it is hard to find consistent players and with every series they have to try new players and the transition will take a long time, Kagiso Rabada was a find from the youth tournaments and they should give a chance for young talents and see how they fair in the big leagues.

There is nothing left in the match now. It seems that India is playing with some third class team. There is no current in this team left. South Africa was top team when Hansie Cronje was their captain. There is a decline in their performance ever since.

They would like to forget about the series as soon as possible but it will not be easy because they will have to answer a lot of question to their people in South Africa when they go back.
