2742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wanted TRISTAN D'AGOSTA of Poloniex.com is cheater on: January 06, 2018, 05:09:55 AM
why are the

xdn
xcn
bbr

withdrawals with held for months and no reply to support tickets on this issue for months either??

2743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex Preparing for an Exit Scam! DO _NOT_ SEND COINS THERE! on: January 06, 2018, 04:46:12 AM
XDN
XCN
BBR

all confiscated on polo

they have closed the wallets and will not allow withdrawal for months

I think we need to locate the owners full name and address and bring forth legal action against him for financial losses.

Damn that really sucks. Sorry to hear about that. The name of the owner is Tristan D'Agosta:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=817310.0

He goes by the moniker Busoni, and you gotta love his Trust Rating. Probably why he stopped posting here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=420836.0

For the record, they released about half of my money so far, but only after I added this gem to my support ticket:

"Can't you at least have the courtesy to explain to me why you are making my life a living hell?

You don't understand the depths of the direness of my financial problems right now. Why are you compounding them without explanation? What's going on over there? Federal investigation? Exit scam? Both??? Why not a PEEP from you guys despite the fact that your Support section says that you will notify customers within 24 hours after receiving a support ticket? That's obviously untrue and a lie and legally actionable. I've screenshotted all of your rules and I will demonstrate in court how you violated your own Terms of Service by refusing to release my funds or at least address the reasoning why you aren't releasing them."

So yes, threatening legal action is seemingly the only way to get their attention. They're still sitting on several hundred dollars worth of my coins though.

I know people with 100's of thousands of dollars trapped there.

they need to re open for withdrawal bbr, xdn and xcn else this page will stay on page 1.

Glad they released some of your funds

I have no idea why people choose waves in this list... if this votes exists ofcourse. But anyway some project is good like byteball and komodo.

I agree komodo and byteball are for me better ..but why do you not like waves? do you have a specific reason for this?
2747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Litecoin is dying! on: January 05, 2018, 08:11:25 PM
litecoin is one of the only other solid projects here.

It is not going anywhere and when all the ico scam coins are revealed for what they are the investors will move back to real projects like this.
2748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think privacy coins are intended to allow tax evasion? on: January 05, 2018, 05:26:32 PM
governments will simply wise up soon and forget capital gains and income tax and just slap VAT and other unavoidable pay as you use taxes on everything ... best way

2749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase not adding Ripple on: January 05, 2018, 05:25:07 PM
everyone knows they will only add POW distributed coins ... no ico scam tokens unless they had a broad POW phase too

Hi Graham,
I'm a very old BeeCoiner here despite my newbie account (someone stole my original one).
I'm experiencing a problem with my BeeCoin wallet. I have a wallet.dat file a bit big (almost 50MB) maybe because being staking for long time it's full of thousands and thousands of micro transactions.
Opening this wallet file my BeeCoin-qt app is working very laggly with high cpu usage, showing very often "not responding".
Anyway it seems to work properly staking the coins and receiving transactions for it.
With an empty wallet.dat file the BeeCoin-qt works smoothly.
I tried to recreate the wallet.dat file dumping the private keys (dumpprivkey) and importing them in a new wallet (importprivkey) but the result seems to be the same (the new wallet.dat file got also big).
Then I wanted to move all the coins to a new empty wallet transfering all the coins but I could see I cannot do it in one time (even counting off the fees).
Trying to move them little by little it seems it allows me to transfer (per time) approx half of the coins I have in my wallet.
Even the fact that some coins are staking and cannot be tranfered is making the things more complicated.
Is maybe there a problem in the wallet that cannot transfer all the coins to a new wallet?
I think it would be the best solution to have a slim wallet file with not so many transactions inside.
What can I do? Do you have any suggestion?
Thank you very much in advance for you precious support.
Ottavio.

hmm yeah i have seen this issue before with the old whitecoin wallet...

is there coin control here with beecoin

graham will know better than me but there is a way to solve this it ... i know it can be fixed
2751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: January 05, 2018, 05:18:09 PM
Early supporter of this coin as far as minor investor but I have to admit I haven't used the site yet.  I am a serious eBayer with the same account since 1998 and thousands of sales there.  If the BitBay experience could be the same kind of experience as eBay it would be awesome.  Any thoughts on this?

That is where we are headed. However remember this is like a combination of local bitcoins, craigs list, alibaba, ebay, freelancer, barteronly all in one! It's because of the versatility of the unbreakable contracts. The advantage we have over ebay is no fees, no escrow, etc.

The drawback for now is it's desktop software but we are very interested in a web interface. This requires a rewrite of Halo in JavaScript. With the continued success of the coin it's becoming more realistic.

The desktop software itself is pretty powerful the templates are meant to be as few clicks as possible. Also someone has worked on a bitmessage relay server to speed up messaging. And someone also built some electrumx nodes for fast connection to the network. So the user experience will continue to improve.

I'm almost done with my next template which will make it more user friendly to buy/sell. It has a shipping calculator (only useful for estimating larger packages). It also has auctions and even reverse auctions (where sellers bid for buyers). And so forth.

Do we have any javascript people on the team now?
2752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening with XRP and TRON ? on: January 05, 2018, 03:39:46 PM
lol at people who actually believe that MARKET CAP is real for these kind of projects.

when a few people hold the vast majority of the tokens it is easy to collude and make the caps look huge.

2753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: January 05, 2018, 03:37:31 PM
does wallet version 8 function 100% correctly or is there need to upgrade to wallet version 9?
2754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]CureCoin - CURECOIN TEAM HAS TAKEN RANK 1 ON FOLDING@HOME!!! on: January 05, 2018, 03:36:12 PM
I think there was a beta test back in August but I don't know what happened with that. I asked how that was going back in October but never heard anything. I can't seem to log in to the curecoin.net forum or reset my password either but maybe there is some more info over there.

So is this the project volk is referring to? i thought we were getting snapshot and those cure coin wallets got sigmaX

Is this the project our developer here has been working on or some other project that is getting released that now is not related directly to cure coin?
2755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple co-founder now richer than google founders on: January 05, 2018, 02:47:15 PM
LOL please get serious

how dumb are most people here

If he tried to cash out a tiny % of his stash ripple would = 0 satoshi

Same goes for a MOST of the over inflated shit like ada tron and every other huge ico turd in the top 20

These over inflated dirt bucket projects are nothing but a bunch of noobs and fools giving their btc away for shit like this.

2756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS are the NEXT BIG THING? Add your Valid suggestion here now >>>>> POLL on: January 05, 2018, 02:44:28 PM
This thread is very helpful to understand how many people here definite of what an ideal coin.

Thank you this is totally correct.

Those in the OP and perhaps merely a handful only of other projects are the only REAL valid crypto projects. The rest are merely start ups that could not raise there funds in any other way except through crypto fomo.

Eventually there will only be need of perhaps 50 REAL crypto projects the rest are just general services that can be built on any of the real crypto projects.
2757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP ICOs with a working product on: January 05, 2018, 02:42:12 PM
there is in reality no reason for any of them to exist

all can be acheived with btc or one of the main cryptos

there are only a handful of real crypto projects the rest are start ups that could on get money off crypto fomo
