2761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it technically possible to ban Bitcoin in a particular country? on: September 06, 2017, 08:46:26 AM
Let's say the Chinese government decides to ban Bitcoin. Is it technically possible without shutting down their Internet?

Definitely. When someone tries to make a Bitcoin transaction internet must be used, even with those desktop wallets. All China has to do is ban all online wallets and just disable desktop wallets from being able to use wifi and work some magic with day roaming which would make it unable to access bitcoin wallets with.

Don't think this will ever happen though.
2762  Economy / Lending / Looking for Advice on: September 06, 2017, 06:52:23 AM
Hello Lenders!

I am looking to start up my own lending thread, mostly for loans below 0.1 BTC, the problem is I have no idea what to do. I've had a couple of questions about this, and was hoping people could help me out and/or give me advice.

1. I am not trusted on this forum, so should I be holding collateral, or should I contact a trusted escrow to hold it for me. If your a trusted escrow, who is interested in helping me out, post here. Maybe we can work on something long term.

2. What is counted as valid collateral? Is it a good idea to allow people to use BTT accounts as collateral?

3. Is it same to give no collateral loans to trusted members?

4. Who covers transaction fees?

Wish me luck, hoping to start my thread in around 1 month.
2763  Economy / Goods / Re: [FOR SALE] 2x Apple Iphone 7 Unlocked 128GB [450$ Each] on: September 06, 2017, 06:40:44 AM

Quoted for image, save the people some effort from clicking on the links.

This is the total opposite of the guy who was offering the iPhone 7 for $350 USD. Just have a one question:
Can you power on the phones to see if the phones actually work?

Good luck selling these, I would recommend selling these on auctions, since I am pretty sure you can get a better price for those, maybe around 600 USD, but dont take my word for it.

2764  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin or other coins on: September 06, 2017, 06:32:21 AM
what make bitcoin better and incomparable to the other cryptocoins  ?

Bitcoin is the oldest crypto currency and it also offers decentralisations, which was unheard of before bitcoin was introduced. Decentralisation was what bitcoin really blow up and it was a different way of thinking which caught a lot of interest from people.

Once bitcoin blew up, it just kept snowballing and now one bitcoin is around 4k. The more expensive something gets, the more attention it receives.

2766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 05, 2017, 10:24:32 PM
What If Bitcoin is banned in your country will you still use it?

If you use it how will you? How will you exchange it and how will you completely use it as you do before.

Don't really think this is possible since there is just no point in banning Bitcoin. The countries that ban bitcoin would just be crippling themselves and their economy. Most countries would just tax Bitcoin instead of taxing it.
2767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can one trace a stollen btc? on: September 05, 2017, 09:57:56 PM
It's too hard to track stolen Bitcoin, especially nowadays. He has probably put it through a mixer a couple of times and when you just track the address it's empty.

Keep your bitcoin safer next time and use hardware wallets as they are almost impossible to crack.
2768  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a bounty manager on: September 05, 2017, 09:44:57 PM

2769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I made my first purchase of bitcoin. too little too late :( on: September 05, 2017, 08:37:31 AM

I guess I am too late to the train but I made a small purchase of a fraction of bitcoin lol. I am not rich by any means. Hope this is a good decision lol Wish me luck. Where do you think BTC will be in next 2-4 years?

An actual great idea. The price recently dropped 1k to 4k and now it is one of the lowest Bitcoin has been since the huge rise happened after segwit. What was the exact price you bought it for?

I 2-3 years I see bitcoin as a currency that is used everywhere on the internet, but with still little to no real life application. I think the price might reach 10,000 then and I am holding for that.
2770  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [Cheapest]Aged Reddit Account Shop[AutoBuy]Vouched! on: September 05, 2017, 05:35:53 AM
Have received a 9 year old aged Reddit account. Here is my review.

They are what they say they are, aged Reddit accounts. The account I received is 9 years old, and has 1 karma. Certainly worth the $2 he is selling them for, but not if your looking for high karma accounts.
2771  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason for bitcoin prices to fall? on: September 05, 2017, 02:59:47 AM
What is the reason for bitcoin prices to fall, is it because of negative news from China about the ICO ban making bitcoin prices fall?
Will bitcoin prices go back to $2000?

The news about icos being banned in china definitely impacted the prices, but I don't think that the fact of that alone would drop the price by almost 1K in one day. A lot of people probably didn't know about this anyways.

I think this was due to bitcoin reaching 5k and then dropping due to people selling all of their bitcoin at that price.
2772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese government banned all of ICOs on: September 05, 2017, 02:17:55 AM
Looks like the Chinese government is getting more and more strict especially with cryptocurrencies and since there is an element of scam in these icos, that is probably why they banned it. This is good though, since we will see less scam icos, and scam icos would be more afraid due to the strict rules made by the chinese goverment.

I think icos need to be more regulated, right now they look like an easy scam method.
2773  Economy / Services / Re: Expansion of my current website www.gorafflin.com on: September 04, 2017, 10:51:46 PM
Do you mean make the raffle prize, bitcoins or you buy the ticket WI h raffles? If you made the prize Bitcoin, that would just be some sort of jackpot game, but if you made a payment option Bitcoins, that could definitely work.

It would be fairly easy to implement and all you would have to do is get a wallet and then tell them to send the btc there. You can then set up something to check what transactions have been sent there.
2774  Economy / Services / Re: 🔥Offering Professional Marketing Services🔥[Competitive Rates]🔥[Open]🔥 on: September 04, 2017, 12:12:27 AM

2775  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I told my brothers and cousins about signature campaigns. on: September 03, 2017, 11:30:38 PM
I told my brothers and cousins about signature campaigns and how I've been making money off of them. If I let some of them use my computer under a different account would this be bad?

I can imagine that some of the campaigns could get mad if you have multiple accounts on the same computer and think you're a spammer or something like that. I mean, I guess they could tell that I'm not by the content that I post, but maybe that isn't enough. If my brother uses the same computer as me it could look like the same person under two accounts since we have the same IP address. Should I just tell them no then?

The rules indicate that you are allowed to have multiple accounts from a single ip address, but you have to register those accounts, on different ip addresses. I think you can use accounts on the same computer anyway, since the mods will never reveal your IP addresses.

Mind your spam though, campaign managers won't care about them being from the same address, but they definitely will care about spam.
2776  Economy / Reputation / Re: my negative was deserved ? on: September 03, 2017, 09:53:20 PM
how i can recover my trust back?

I don't think you can.  Lauda deems account sales as untrustworthy.
soo my account is finish now ?i want used in campaign but nobody accepted negative account
soo iff me buy a car stolen me make prison?i am sure not
soo bought account not deserve negative
maybe this account was reall owner saler why not ?me pay good money for account i not deerve negative

You deserve a negative, because you are an account seller. These sales, do exactly what lauda said. They promote bad behavior, such as spam and scams.

Your obviously an account farmer, and not a good quality one, looking at your post quality. Leave this forum and practice on your English, then make your own account and you can post.

2778  Economy / Goods / Re: Unlimited 4G LTE Hotspot Devices on: September 03, 2017, 10:53:48 AM
I think I may be interested in this product, but my location makes it hard for me to buy one.

I am located in Australia and we certainly don't have the Sprint network here, is there anyway you could work some magic and make a unlimited hotspot device for Australia, I would definitely be interested.

2779  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Developing an crypto exchange. on: September 02, 2017, 10:46:44 AM
"Diary of a exchange coder"
I would read that. Keep up on the coding and let's see where this exchange goes and maybe it will turn out super well. I doubt your going to finish coding a whole exchange in 40 days though, but best of luck.

When you are finished, be sure to send me a link to your exchange and I'll be happy to do some beta testing.
2780  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for partner about media campaign of blockchain project on: September 02, 2017, 10:39:22 AM
Hello everyone,  Cheesy
Our project is going to launch on timeline. We welcome partners about media campaign.
Now, we invite you #blockchain & cryptocurrency enthusiast   to join a blockchain solution to discuss,Thank you. Please feel free to leave message or contact me via linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ella-dong-176a35133/  or Skype: innerseashine.
Great thanks for everyone in advance.
Meanwhile, is there any experience about media campaign for present blockchain marketing? or how to marketing before ICO? Wink

Hello, I am guessing you are starting up a new coin through this ico stage and you are stuck on marketing for your new coin. I would first recommend you start up an Ann thread for your ico, like other icos.

From then on you can start thinking about bounty campaign and marketing for your project, which I will be able to help with you, no problem.

Anyways, drop some more details, would love to know more.
