2761  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet address and the mistake some might make on: July 20, 2022, 11:48:42 PM
That is why Is only advisable to copy and paste and still check due to clipboard issue.
Even if you check them there is malware that after you check and click the send button it changes automatically without notice be careful of that always keep your device clean or find an alternative way to avoid clipboard malware.

Most of the wallets right now have QR so if you are going to send to someone instead of asking him for his address and manually typing them ask him for a QR code it would be easier and you are far from Clipboard malware.
2762  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Google Ads Updates its Policy towards Crypto on: July 20, 2022, 11:37:42 PM
This is bad news to those scammers and hackers who usually abuse the free $100 ads credit from Google.

Another thing that I noticed is that other countries don't have this policy how about the other countries?
Like Russia, this is unfair unless if they totally blocked all Russian people to Google?
2763  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: firmware mix and match between antminer s19 and s19 pro on: July 20, 2022, 10:59:49 PM
how do you know which firmware version you want to use .

For example the S19 has 2 firmware. One for miners before May 2021 and one for after October 15, 2021.

So what's the way to know which version u should be putting . I looked on the bitmain site and can't find the answer to that question

anyone know ?

Have you tried to read their firmware description it should explain which firmware you should flash.

Check this image below it was from the Bitmain firmware description for s19

Do not worry about flashing it to the most recent firmware you can able to revert it back by flashing it through SD card and only revert it back if you experienced some issue.
2764  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freebitcoin Incorrect login details on: July 20, 2022, 12:28:01 PM
It's very likely they detected your accounts as multiple accounts since you used the same line, and it's against their terms. This is what they say;

It's weird I can't even find these terms on their website I have an old account on them and tried to check every corner of their website but I can't find this term.

I tried to log in today but my old password seems also does not work. So I decided to reset it and then I receive a different random password to log in and it works just fine.

@soyfifi I think, try to reset it first before contacting them it might also work for you.
2765  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Difference between S17 and S17pro? on: July 20, 2022, 11:13:58 AM
If you talking about s17 and s17 pro they look the same but they are not totally the same if you check carefully the circuit and some parts are not the same if you want to compare them I think these two links below are worth reading.

- Antminer S17 and Antminer s17 pro List of Spare Parts.

Also, both of them have unique programs if you mix them it won't work.
2766  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Help on: July 19, 2022, 11:53:54 PM
I'm not sure why I got it the first time since I didn't see the network status which was hidden by the screen as I said above and didn't check it (and I don't remember when it was precisely so I can't look at the logs) but when I try to broadcast a tx without a working internet connection I get this infamous "semi-cryptic error message" then it must be a pretty common case unfortunately as reported by the issue 5815 quoted by o_e_l_e_o https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/5815

Honestly, I never experienced that error I usually disable the connection of my Electrum for the offline transactions. Why not make a new transaction again and disconnect your laptop/PC to the internet while creating a transaction(for synced balance) under send tab let us see if the error comes up with disconnected internet.

Then if the error comes up then it is related to the network issue internet or the server/node.
You can try to ping google to test your internet and connect to other servers/nodes it should solve this case.
2767  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase One - Zero trade fees? on: July 19, 2022, 11:06:48 PM
I think this is just for the marketing strategy to attract other traders to switch to Coinbase it is just likely the same as other exchanges doing. If you remember the FTX exchange which is no trading fees before and free withdrawal.

I am not a Coinbase user, but I thought Coinbase Pro and Coinbase.com has been merged. I checked Coinbase pro on Coinmarketcap and it is now named Coinbase exchange.

Never heard that they are going to merge I have the Coinbase app but currently, it's not yet pro. If you search a bit on Google the result only leads you to a guide on how to transfer funds from Coinbase to pro and nothing else. So merging between that two is fake news.
2768  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freebitcoin Incorrect login details on: July 19, 2022, 10:47:14 PM
Freebitco is a faucet and a gambling site, why using it for investing? That is wrong.

He might be attracted to this

Code:
EARN INTEREST ON YOUR DEPOSITS
Deposit BTC in your FreeBitco.in wallet and we'll give you 4.08% annual interest on your balance, compounded daily.

It is on the first page of Freebitco.in and I think what they invest is the fun token and only use Freebitco.in because you can able to play there with that token or your case is the same as this one Freebitco.in Scam!!

It would be better if you can discuss this in their thread and provide some proof. I can't even seem to find any terms from freebitco.in which we don't know the reason for accounts removal.
2769  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Anyone have the Ebang Ebit manage tool pls? on: July 19, 2022, 10:31:40 PM
It seems that ebang website is currently under attack or might have hosting issue because I can't able to go through with their website I used archive.org to check only the download URL of that software which is this.

Code:
https://ebang.oss-cn-hongkong.aliyuncs.com/EbitMinerMiniV1.0.3.5EN.zip

The problem is that the link is also dead or it seems they remove it.

Why not try to use other managing tools like Minerstat, Awesomeminer and hiveOS. They do support ebang units and support almost all ASIC models.
2770  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Cant verify the signature on: July 19, 2022, 12:19:30 PM
If you have a problem with the lookup server when trying to search the fingerprint from the link above you can try this guide below

- Open Command prompt as administrator
- then send this command
Code:
gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys 6694D8DE7BE8EE5631BED9502BD5824B7F9470E6
- Open Kleopatra and paste this below on the notepad
- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/spesmilo/electrum/master/pubkeys/ThomasV.asc
- Then you can now start verifying the downloaded electrum 4.2.2

If this still does not work read more from this below for other alternatives

2771  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How to choose a hash board repair tool on: July 19, 2022, 11:55:59 AM
There's no easy to use unless you are skilled all tools needed for repairing hashboard are BGA hotair, Soldering iron, soldering lead, solder paste, Multimeter, test fixture and hashboard code editor.

I would like to suggest you if you want to learn about repairing hashboard then only one website that I know this one https://www.zeusbtc.com/ASIC-Miner-Repair/
All tools you need are I think included in their PDF guides.
2772  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A concise guide to not getting "phished" on: July 18, 2022, 11:57:56 PM
Also, avoid clicking websites there is a well-known phishing attack before the URL is actually the same as the real one like Punny code domains.
Read more about this here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5184169.0

Spoofed URL is another technique that the URL or link looks the same but if you actually check the character one by one the one is different. Always check the URL and better always bookmark the legit one to avoid future phishing attacks.
2773  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for feedback on Bitcoin Trading Simulator App on: July 18, 2022, 11:27:08 PM
The statement is completely true. The app is free to download and use.

One can remove ads and access features *immediately* by subscribing but all functionality is possible without paying a dime.

You certainly don't have to pay us anything and we don't claim to teach you how to trade, but rather provided a simulated environment so people can practice/try trading before spending real money.

I have stock iPhone 6 but it seems it does not support only Iphone 6s above can able to install this simulator app.

So you mean people who want to use your Simulator for free can able to access all features but it has annoying ads?
It's just like on Android games you can only earn or can continue to play their game if you watch some ads or answer some surveys. And paid one is by removing the ads?

Are these reviews from AppleStore are real?

Sorry but for me, I can't trust this app and actually there are lots of online trading tools or apps that you can able to use for free.
2774  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Help on: July 18, 2022, 10:55:59 PM
That's sad for users, they deserve a really more user-friendly and explicit message when a tx broadcast fails because of a connection failure IMO. The "Not connected" status is displayed on the bottom of the main screen of Electrum but unfortunately the screen for sending transactions covers it when it pops up. So I don't think the average Joe understands a network failure has happened when he get this message. If the network status is displayed I suppose it could be quite easily checked before or after the raising of this error and a more understandable error message could be written consequently.

There is another post on Github with the same issue he keeps repeating and the issue solve https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/5317
But I think it is a server issue and maybe the server you are connected to, might be down which is why you get this error "BestEffortRequestFailed".

Based on what I understand about this error your wallet is trying to request data from the node/server as best effort but it still fails due to many reasons like hosting issue or the server you are connected to, currently under DDOS attacks. So I suggest try to connect to other servers.
2775  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any good CPA crypto networks or offers? on: July 17, 2022, 11:53:33 PM
Why not use affpaying.com and offervault.com to find those network that pays well it's all categorized with reviews. There are lots of CPA offers that are good for Crypto traffic.

You can also check this thread below for other affiliate and CPA networks.

2776  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon t2t 26t on: July 16, 2022, 11:51:58 PM
What do you mean it doesn't work? Do you mean the miner is running but not mining or no hashrate?

To troubleshoot your problem you must post the whole logs here and don't forget to put them inside the code tag or use pastebin.com and share it here.

Also, read the common problems and solutions from Innosilicon support.
2777  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is bi-finance.tech a scam? on: July 16, 2022, 11:27:42 PM
I guess it's called a "bot", anyway I posted a comment to a video on a youtube channel relating to finances. There was a reply saying "I'm glad you liked my video, go to my whatsapp #" .  So I fell for it thinking it really was the guy from the channel wanting to talk to me, the replyer even had the guy's picture as avatar. Told me gave this info to channel subscribers and then took me through the whole process to sign up. Back and forth with screen prints, and I invested 100 dollars, the minimum. After the 36 hours sure enough I got 5% return. Then showed how to withdraw and that went fine, then reinvested and was off and rolling. But when I tried to withdraw a few days later they said I could only withdraw once in the beginner plan ($100 - $5000), but the other plans I could withdraw all the time. Well, that's when I asked the whatsapp person if they really were "so and so" from the youtube and they said "yeah man it's me." Then I said send me a video to prove it, they got upset, no video and I deleted/blocked them. Then I found this forum and you all gave me the truth. Again thanks to all.

So you can able to withdraw but only once which is obvious that the scammer is trying to attract you with profit to push yourself again to invest.
There is no investment site where you can actually earn money almost investment sites and cloud mining sites are 99% scams.

Don't trust anyone if you only found that guy in youtube comments and want to talk to you through other contacts outside youtube it's obvious that he has a plan for you. Since you already have an account here on the forum always ask here if you found another site that you don't know so that other users here will give advice and tell you if the site is legit or a scam.
2778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My wallet has Been Hacked. i need your help guyz. on: July 16, 2022, 11:10:33 PM
That's pretty bad you can't able to do anything if your BNB is automatically sent to someone's address every time you funded it for transferring your tokens you have nothing to do.
Unless if you are faster than the bot make a transaction right away after you sent bnb to that wallet.

Or better wait for a few weeks and maybe the bot will stop sending them automatically.

Have you exposed your private key to someone or other websites?

There is nothing we can do if someone already has access to your private key and set a bot to automatically send funds to the hacker's address. What you can only do is wait for a few weeks or months until the hacker's bot is stop running.

OP, take a look at this thread to know if your device is indeed infected with clipboard malware and how to move your coins safely in such case:

I never heard someone has been infected with clipboard malware using a phone Android or IOS. So I guess someone already has access to his private key and uses a script to run and automatically send funds to another wallet.
2779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why am unable to connect? on: July 15, 2022, 11:48:02 PM
I found the old version 5.12 RC2 and v5.13-rc4 on Github I tried to use it seems both of them working but after creating a new wallet it stuck to generate new addresses.

So there is nothing we can do since it is an old version and Bitcoin.com stopped maintaining it.

Are there any other options?

The only option is to import your backup to another wallet as suggested above and it seems that their wallet is generating with BIP39 so you should get the same addresses after you imported it to Electrum.

Take note it's not safe to use a wallet that is generated from another wallet so I suggest you instead of importing them to Electrum extract all private keys from https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ offline mode and sweep all private keys to your new wallet(Make a new wallet with Electrum).
2780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why am unable to connect? on: July 15, 2022, 02:05:42 PM
Are you sure that the wallet is from Bitcoin.com?

I can't seem to find an installer for Windows 10 from Bitcoin.com they only have two options IOS and an Android app.

So it's weird that you have a Windows version of Bitcoin.com wallet.

Since you mention above that you have a backup seed why not try to install the bitcoin.com app to another device(Try on your phone) and import the backup seed?
You can follow this guide "Restore Bitcoin.com Wallet Guide"
