Hi BitMaxz, I washed the hashboards again with cellulosic thinner before installing them and interestingly I didn't get 0 asic error on the hashboard, it read 44 asic but I got a heat sensor error. and i reset the device and after reset i got 0 asic error again

Why could something like this happen? I couldn't get the code because I reset it

So every time you clean it with thinner it works again but after reset it is gone. There might something on the hashboard that needs to replace or remove. I suggest check the test points from this guide below and if you have multimeter you must check the voltage value of test points if they are normal.

1802  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon A1166 continuously reboots BOOTBY 0x10.80028DD4 [solved] on: January 29, 2023, 11:36:12 PM
Have you tried to access the miner through a mobile browser?
Seems you tried almost all possible solutions but it didn't work maybe the PC you are using blocking the Pie Chart?

So try the Chrome browser on mobile and access the dashboard again then update here if it's just your PC preventing the Pie chart to load.
1803  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: firmware with configurable frequency for antminer s9? on: January 29, 2023, 11:23:14 PM
Hi guys, I am currently making an S9 radiator haha

I will need a firmware with immersion version for the run without fan (that easy to find) on the other hand I have a particular request, is there a firmware with a reduction by chip temp?

Example if I lower the extractor with its potentiometer, as the chip will heat up (example set at 85°c) the miner will lower its frequency to come back to the target temperature?

Thanks in advance

Vnish or Braiins OS firmware has this feature called auto-tunning you can also manually set the frequency/power of every chip on the hashboard.

Here's what it looks like

But auto-tunning is awesome it automatically reduces the frequency of overheating chips until it turns green or low temp.
1804  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Repairing Antminer S9j on: January 27, 2023, 11:52:53 PM
That's a good choice if the seller accepts your deal but most of the sellers if you buy at that price they do not refund or partially refund you are lucky if the seller accepts it.

About repairing it you can repair it ZeusBTC has some guide for repairing the s9 hashboard but not the whole unit.
And about replacing Hashboard on the s9 series it doesn't need to match like power or serial it is not the same as the 17 series above that requires hashboard editor to match EEPROM data like serial number and power.

About the wire, you can replace it with the same gauge or above to make sure there is no power lost or sometimes it can lead to a short circuit, or if it is replaced with a higher gauge wire it won't easily melt.
1805  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: T17+ 0 asic found on: January 27, 2023, 11:34:49 PM
Now it's reading fine now all ASIC are alive it means that your hashboard has a problem
About the soc init error it is due to incompatibility because replacing a hashboard always required a tool called Hashboard code editor/ EEPROM editor.
All hashboard should match or should be the same like power, frequencies, and serial numbers.

Since you don't have a Hashboard code editor I suggest burn a BraiinsOS and boot it into that miner to test if all hashboard is working fine. Braiins OS can bypass it even if they do have different EEPROM data.
1806  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Perdida de Th/s en el Pool on: January 27, 2023, 11:06:10 PM
Have you tried to monitor your all units sometimes hash rate drop due to overheating Bitmain units automatically increase or reduce the frequency and fan of the hashboard depending on their temp?

Better use a monitoring tool to find out what exactly happens to your miners, Bitmain has free monitoring tools that you can check here "MAnagement tools"

Sometimes the pool is down If I were you try switching to another Sha256 pool so that you can check if it's due to the pool server.

You can try ViaBTC pool or try any other pools from this link https://miningpoolstats.stream/
1807  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does Coinbase commerce work? Reason why I want to know inside on: January 27, 2023, 10:53:46 PM
Have you read the Faqs? Read them here https://www.coinbase.com/commerce/faq

According to them, their Coinbase commerce is non-custodial and it generates a 12-word seed backup. So it is a non-custodial or fully decentralized payment gateway even if you are not KYC verified you can withdraw the amount to another wallet.

And I tried to read the faqs but it seems Coinbase commerce doesn't require KYC verification.
1808  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Connecting to a node? on: January 27, 2023, 12:22:14 AM
If you just want to connect to her node just go to tools then network and uncheck the select server automatically then you can type manually the server or node you want to connect to.

It should be the IP: port of her node after typing it close it then check the circle on the bottom right corner if it's green or red. If it's red it means it's not connected or there might be a connection problem but if it's green it means it's connected.
1809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Drag and drop tool for backtests on: January 27, 2023, 12:09:44 AM
Are you planning to produce a drag-and-drop trading backtesting tool?

It's exciting but the problem is how secure and safe your software is. Right now, people can't easily trust any software out there due to malware and viruses or software that includes spyware unless you are one of the trusted people here or since it's free if you can put a fully open-source code into Github and let people/developers decide if your backtesting tool is safe.

And the good thing is if you put it on Github, maybe some traders out there that know more about strategies can pull requests to share some script/code that you can add/patch to your project.
1810  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Willing to know more on: January 26, 2023, 11:49:52 PM
~snip~

Why did you link a Cloud mining site here since you are a newbie I suggest you remove the link that includes cryptolinks to hashing24 that website is obviously a scam look at the first description they said they have been involved in crypto since 2012 but look at the whois their domain was registered 2016.

Are you promoting the website? If I were you remove the anchor text a link that hiding from your post so that no one will click it here on the forum.

@DaNNy001

Actually, mining Bitcoin only needs ASIC units it is PlugNPlay the only problem is your electricity rate if you have a cheap power rate then go for mining but if your current electricity rate is expensive don't buy a unit.

and I would like you to read this before you start buying units. First time/Small miner reference for getting started.
1811  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CoinCapMarket.com is phishing of coinmarketcap.com on: January 26, 2023, 11:24:40 PM
Accessing this site gives me this

So Kaspersky detected it has expired certificate.

My Kaspersky does not allow me to access the website and adding from stompix post above how does your friend access the website?

If your friend trying to withdraw something from that website and the website is asking to deposit a small amount as a fee to withdraw BTC then that's obvious it's a scam.
1812  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: My antminer T15 is in infinite loop. read! on: January 26, 2023, 10:17:11 PM
still with the same error.. it seems that it does not mine without the PSU fans.. in the hashboards it appears "暂无数据!"

You don't have any other choice but to replace the fan because when you disconnect the other fans it runs normally but the logs show the fan is lost so it's not mining.

If you have a fan and extra PSU you can easily troubleshoot this issue without them for troubleshooting you are thinking it can fix in other ways.

If you don't have any technical knowledge or experience to repair units I'd suggest you hire a technician near your area there is a list on zeusBTC for repair centers and maybe one center is near in your area.
1813  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S19J says network error but I am connecting to it remotely? on: January 26, 2023, 09:57:43 PM
I have the same issue.

I verified my miner isn't using the same IP as another device. I've set the miner's IP statically. I can log in to the miner (UI means ethernet port works). I've tried 5+ different mining pools (nicehash Foundry etc). I can Ping these mining pools. I'm still getting Fatal Error: network connection lost! What gives!!!

Have you tried to replace the ethernet cable? Do it first and also try to turn off the router and the ISP modem for 5 minutes and turn it on again.

If still doesn't work there is something blocking your miner to connect online like I said changing DNS should fix the issue but if it doesn't work maybe your internet is very slow.

Also, try to use the Bitmain tool that has a tool to scan viruses to make sure your unit is clean. Check the link below
- https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036086773-BITMAIN-Antivirus-Software-Instructions

And SD card flashing if still didn't work

1814  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: T17+ 0 asic found on: January 26, 2023, 09:42:29 PM
The first logs shows that the 3rd hashboard is 0 ASIC there might be a connection issue between the control board and the 3rd hashboard.

The 2nd logs the 1st hashboard is 0 ASIC and possibly a connection issue.

Do you mind to try to replace the 3rd hashboard from your first device and take the working hashboard from your 2nd device and let see if the issue is just a connection or if it's hashboard issue then update here.
1815  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance P2P - any experience/opinions? on: January 26, 2023, 12:19:50 AM
I know I'm probably overthinking this, but isn't that a problem? Screenshots are easy to fake (right-click, inspect, change code etc). You could make hundreds of successful trades as a seller, but if one scammer gets Binance to decide in their favour based on fake screenshot - that could put you in negative. So I guess it all boils down to how good/effective Binance resolution system is.

Yes, they can fake screenshots but you can also send your videos or screenshots as proof that you didn't receive it and provide more data like bank transactions pulled out from your bank account or I think Binance support will request data from your bank account to check if you actually receive a transaction or not. And take note this is their top priority fake images are not allowed and only you to decide if you allow this transaction or report it.
And honestly, all your question that you need is already on Binance why not explore their support area and faqs?

Check this one "All You Need to Know About the Binance P2P Appeals Process"

I sell there but I never experienced such an issue yet I don't just randomly sell to anyone there I only sell to someone with 98% positive reviews to make sure I'm dealing with trusted buyer.
1816  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: My antminer T15 is in infinite loop. read! on: January 25, 2023, 11:47:43 PM
New discovery!.. I opened the PSU and removed one of the fans from it and it turned on normally too... can I say that the problem is in the PSU? Is there any kind of fix? apparently the PSU is not holding up .. when the start miner. it restarts again..

Possible it could be PSU but without some tools like a power meter where you can see how much wattage is the miner pulling
and you can monitor the power and compare it with or without the fan.

But if it's a PSU maybe the PSU can't provide enough power which is why the miner didn't work while all fans are connected.
How about removing one of the hashboard temporarily and let see if it will run normally?  If it's run normally then try to pull the kernel logs again and post it here(and possible it's PSU issue).
1817  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: avalon 1246 no internet on: January 25, 2023, 11:31:26 PM
Hi there,
Does your browser show you the charts? (piecharts and linecharts) Not mine.
If so, what browser are you using and what firmware is installed?

I thought your problem is solved. Anyway, have you tried my suggestion from my previous posts in your thread? If it didn't work and the problem is still there make sure that you always do a factory reset every time you flash the unit.

And actually, you have a different unit but try to change your network settings from DHCP to static using the same IP but this time add DNS(Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS) maybe the Pie chart is not built-in but requesting data somewhere online.
1818  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: I am selling Antminer S 19 XP 134TH. What is more profitable ? on: January 25, 2023, 02:56:47 PM
I think that's the only miner that is currently the most profitable according to Whattomine with $0.1/Kwh.

For now, I can't suggest if it's better to buy Bitcoin to hold it for a long time or Stay mining since you said you lost access to cheap electricity it won't make any profit but still depends on how expensive your current electricity rate is.

Do you mind telling us the current electricity rate in your area?

If it's too expensive or above $0.13 per Kwh then it won't make any profit.
You can also hold the miner and wait for this machine's price to increase in value to resell them at a high price or hold the unit for a few months until we see the price of Bitcoin rise again until mining with this unit is profitable again.
1819  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I might be wrong about this but I need to know on: January 25, 2023, 02:03:59 PM
I guess your brother didn't know exactly how to mine Bitcoin he might be talking about renting a hash rate on Nicehash or from Miningrigrentals and pointed to any pools like Nicehash to convert your hash rate to BTC. Meaning the hash rate you bought is from GPU mining and Nicehash paid you with Bitcoin.

There are very few that currently legit cloud mining but almost all are scams. Miningrigrentals and Nicehash and the one that Bitmain promoted before I don't remember exactly what the website is but I think they don't offer hashrate anymore because the slots are full.

Be careful what your brother said the only way to mine Bitcoin is to have ASIC units that support SHA256 algo if he give you some details and redirect you to another link with unknown cloud mining site then that's 100% scam.
1820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTCrecover help on: January 24, 2023, 11:58:20 PM
You can recover that missing characters but 5 missing characters take more than a year or maybe decades.
And BTCrecovery is not the only tool you can use to find the missing phrases you can also use the Finderouter recovery tool check the link below.

You can speed up the process if you have a good rig with GPUs.
