2761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 26, 2016, 05:57:36 AM
Investing should be done if you want to make money and gambling if you want to lose money, that's how simple as it is you cannot do the same time with the same purpose otherwise you will end of with a loss.

Gambling is not for losing money, but it is made for enjoying your free time with your friends or family only sometimes with some fee. But we all want to recover those fee paid for the enjoyment and in that process we all are forget the fun part and only worry about the profit and finally may lose more money in gambling.

I agree gambling is for enjoying your money and you need to be wise as you are going to use your money for gambling.

But if you are going to be a good manager for both of it, gambling and investment. That is going to be a hobby and as well as profit.

Invest in gambling sites and you are going to get good profit.

Investing to online casinos is profitable granting that the casino has a well know credibility and a good reputation amongst gamblers and investors alike. You should also bear in mind that you may have some negative profit from time to time but if you are up for a longer period of time, you will eventually be on good profit due to house edge in your favor.

I want ask anyone if i give you 10 Btc what will you do. because i want investment but i have no any good idea to invest it (except gambling) but i don't like dambling. So i want ask you viewS.

In my views, For what what am I gonna with that amount maybe I will convert the 50% into a real money to invest in traditional business, then the remaining balance will be roll in trading, and some will hold on to keep for awhile.

Sound plan. If you are a good trader you can do well with trading altcoins and at the same time trading stocks or forex trading. The idea of trading all 10 btc with other cryptocurrency is no longer uncommon because we can even see 100+ btc being traded now in poloniex and much more. That 10 btc is good enough to earn at least 10% a day that would be .1 btc a day Smiley
2763  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 26, 2016, 04:49:25 AM
i am working full time at the moment and if i would get a job relating to bitcoin then i will be glad to join ,other than that it will be a hard choice to quit a job for bitcoin,if i would have known about bitcoin when it was released then i would jump into it without the blink of an eye but not right now.
I think if you have Jobs becoming freelancer in bitcoin is become great choice, because you can adds money from bitcoin and you still get salary from your job. It is more safe for you to getting double money from bitcoin and from your real job.
yes freelance is the best choice if planning to quit day job finding your passion and enjoying it then receiving bitcoin as payment so if you get steady income from that freelance you can find more and more because you will be getting more time in front of your own pc the comfort of working inside your house and no pressure coming from the boss we kept yelling when you are not done with your assignment hahaha.

The title of this question is quite vague - because you just can change the mode of your salary from fiat money to bitcoin and you pass the question by answering yes. However, what I understand with this question is that you are completely quitting your day job in exchange of bitcoin endeavor that will be more profitable and not working for it like your old day job. Hence, if you quit your existing day job and work as freelancer to earn bitcoin, then it is still a day job.
2764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 25, 2016, 07:52:31 AM
It will be surprising to see anyone hating bitcoin other than one that have lost bitcoin due to their carelessness. I think majority love bitcoin in reality and only few may hate but it is quite sure they will come back and use bitcoin in future.
most people still do not believe it and they actually do not understand the concept of bitcoin. I'm sure when we understand the workings and the concept of bitcoin then they will immediately fall in love to use bitcoin.

This is really true. I have some doubts about bitcoin before when it just launched and that is the reason why I joined bitcoin late. The moment I get a hold of bitcoins and use all of its features, that was the time I feel in love with bitcoins and will always keep getting more bitcoins at the moment. I just love bitcoin.
2765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: September 25, 2016, 07:49:44 AM
Do you gamble for fun or for profit?
I do gambling for profit and im not enjoy the entire games because i am always afraind of loosing money and i feel so nervous every time im trying to double my money and in the end i lost money and i don't know what to do im just like crying cow for me gambling is just for propfit and luckl.

Definitely gambling is always full of stress and when do it to make some profit than it is very hard to enjoy it and to have fun there, but I am not always get stressed even playing on online gambling because on various game I mostly play for fun only with sports betting I try to make some profit.

Indeed! Gambling is very stressful because the stake is big. When you put big you will get a chance to win big or lose big. That which stresses comes in. The way to combat these is to only play bankroll that you can afford to lose and never to expect on winning big and if you are lucky enough and win big, that is the time you celebrate and let emotions sink in Smiley
2766  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: September 25, 2016, 07:47:11 AM
Hello!

I've got a few coins on the side and I'd like to make them work.
Which gambling site do you advise me to invest in the bankroll?
since i never trust at any bitcoin site for investment but still some of there are better site to invest like moneypot and just dice . they return your investment with profit .

Would they return your investment money with profit even after you loose your money ? Casinos are like gambling right? so gambling is very risky and winning chances are very low so don't waste your money in casinos, invest your money in trading from where you can get some profit.

I don't know what you mean but if you are talking about investing to casinos, you are also risking but you are not gambling because you are an investor to this company. Although there comes a time that you will be on a negative profit when some players will be very lucky or there are lucky whales playing with very big bankroll.
2767  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: September 25, 2016, 07:44:42 AM
10 btc is big amount for me, I would hold some of my bitcoins in my wallet and wait for prices to raise up, because that's the less risky way to earn bitcoins  Cheesy

I would like to add to that - you may also offer your bitcoins for loans and earn big loan interest in poloniex or other similar sites. This way, you are also earning few bitcoins than just holding it for a longer period of time. That is just my thoughts though because that is what I am doing now with a portion of my bitcoins.
2768  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2.5 Years in Bitcoin and still holding. on: September 25, 2016, 07:42:35 AM
If i were you, i will release the bitcoin and sell it all, exchange it into fiat. Because the price of bitcoin for now is already good and you can earn a good profit from it.
Very smart move but i think his still holding his bitcoin thinking that bitcoin price will increase that too much or it will maximize this year we all hoping that waiting this to happen but if i were him also i'm going to exchange website exchange my bitcoin into real cash and or make a trade for other crypto-currency.

It really depends to a person on  how  he manage his bitcoins ,some may sell as of  the current price of bitcoin and some would  intend to keep a longer more and waiting for their  target price to sell their bitcoins. All of us  have difference on when and what price of bitcoin in the time we bought it and   all of us have the aim on gaining  profit thats why  some may sell for 10% profit and some  are  waiting for  more 100%-200% for sure which those people  who holds for longer of years now.

That is right. Every person has his/her own strategy in managing its assets or bitcoin. In my case, I have a portion of my overall bitcoin that I won't spend for decades to come. I just have them offer for loans in poloniex. So, regardless of present and future prices, I just hold it because I have big hope that its price will be really big decades from now.
2769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: September 25, 2016, 07:35:32 AM
its not easy to make a profit by gambling. but easy to lose your money.  Cheesy
because gambling is risky.

Casino games are designed for making money from customers, the house edge tells, they are not donators to us.
good point mate if they want to give away their money maybe they will create charity house but the casino house design to earn and there no easy one to suck from their system, just wait for your luck though.
in my opinion casino are not a trusted 50-50% profit loss because about 99% people loss their money in the casino while luck remain 50% average to win and loss . it means no one can make money ever from casino .

People lose because of gamblers ruin theorem - in a game between two players (gamblers and casino in our case) the one with bigger bankroll has proportionally bigger chances to win. Gamblers who don't stop on profit will eventually lose everything.

Online or break and mortar Casinos will always win not that they have much bigger bankroll than their players (which they all should have to cater many players on their casino), they win because of what we called the house edge and not because they have bigger bankroll. This is what I know or maybe missing something.
2770  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 25, 2016, 07:32:47 AM
I already did this! What is better - working in constrction company 8 hours or sitting in home and writing stupids on the front of your screen.. just ask guy with dirty uniform how much he earn per hour.. for few posts on Bitcointalk you can't earn that!

I beg to disagree. Signature campaign should not be use as your main source of income. You are comparing construction worker to posting here in bitcointalk - for your information, I am now in a signature campaign and my monthly earning is just enough to pay for my internet bill (although I am not using it to pay for my internet bill because I just use my income here to trading altcoins) but I know you get my point, right?
2771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: September 25, 2016, 07:29:39 AM
gambling is a very interesting game, because on the other hand we get satisfaction When win and win on the other hand we also get money.

the strategy that I use is very easy.

1. don't be too selfish when your first gambling win
2. always clear thinking
3. no rash
4. always looking for loopholes

As long as you have a system with you that you regularly follow and proven effective to you then just follow it. That is really my parameter, when I see system that works for me, I will stick to it no matter what other people are saying. I am just curious in your fourth step: 4. always looking for loopholes can you elaborate it more? thanks!
2772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets on: September 25, 2016, 07:26:26 AM
Is it really true that if someone want to earn big from gambling he need to make a higher bets? Yes he can also loose but if he is lucky enough he can earn big amounts too. People can not make profits with lower bet amounts like .05 etc. you need a higher amounts bets.
0.05 is little big you can also do 0.1 martingale which is so risky i saw a guy won like 50 btc by doing this and some other 1 btc bet low payout he made some and he already withdraw it after he made some profit

We heard stories about gamblers win big with small amount of bankroll. I even experienced this one before - my bankroll was just 0.002 btc and I made it to 0.26+ btc in a day. However, because of greed, I never stop and continue playing and lost it all. I should have stop and cashout. Well, I learned a good lesson that day.

You can become rich even from a penny if you are lucky enough. It's all about taking the risks and accepting the lost. Higher bank rolls won't do anything but make you lose even more most of the time.

When you have a system that you are strictly following and it will be coupled with luck during the time you are start betting, then you will profit big for sure. Having big bankroll is good when you know what you are doing - if you play it only with one session then you have big chances of losing it all compared to dividing it into sessions.
2773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 25, 2016, 07:22:43 AM
Its very enjoying and you want to keep doing it, of course its depending on the game but I think the game is making you addicted.
It stays fun for hours so you stay playing it hours after each other.
Yeah thats what i think too, i really enjoy playing in gambling and the thought that you can win makes you more excited regardless of how much you lose thats why its addicting.
I also experience that same feeling too, because the more you are near to win the more it is getting exciting, but when I notice that the game is just giving me hope to win but the truth is I can never win and lose all my money is not really good in feeling. And then I just realize that I need to know some other stuffs that makes me entertain without any risk.
people will always to expect a win and win situation no matter what , that's the wrong thought. but everytime you do gamble you will just back to thinking the same yeah after your winning you think you will get another win, but the house edge beat you as always. only a little piece of fun you get when you gamble so it's not part of why gambling make you addicted i guess.

Casino wins when gamblers tends to be very emotional. The moment the gambler is very emotional with his/her betting, that is the start of that gambler being beaten by casino - the more gambler gets excited of the winning and think he/she will win more if he/she bets more, then the reality kicks in, and the house edge will prevail.
2774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: September 25, 2016, 07:14:19 AM
A smart way is to manage the bankroll properly. It needs experience and its difficult as well since emotions get in the way. Of course it is their hard earned money - and in that case you should never gamble at all. Still a smart method is to cash out while still on a winning streak.
controlling yourself that's right mate withdraw while you are in winning streak then move away that's how you can win
with the house if you stay for little more you will be tempted to gamble again and lose everything.
There are many people who make a living off of the gambling industry; if there weren't people who profited, then there would be no gambling industry at all.  The key to being a successful gambler is to only wager on events when the odds are in your favor.  That requires a working knowledge of probability. Learn the math and gamble like the house does. They win and so could you!

This is a good advice. However, reaching to that point - having that knowledge and skill like the professional gamblers, is not that easy. We need to have many experiences, tests, and many losing and winning sessions in order to get to that level. Of course, we need to also be so lucky in order to be successful with gambling.
2775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 25, 2016, 07:11:29 AM
the only people who hates bitcoin are the late adopters and banks.
but i don't think its too late for them, they still can buy more this time as its expected to rise still in the future.
I don't understand why some of you are saying Banks hate Bitcoin, I mean they are not losing anything from people using BTC. They are owned by Billionaires people don't really care about BTC that much. Also people use bank transactions in order to convert their BTC into Fiat. So can anyone please tell me why are you saying banks are affected by Bitcoin?

I agree. From what I see it, the more bitcoin will be more successful, the banks will get a portion of the success as well because there will really people that will exchange bitcoins to fiat money. The more the economy is healthy and people are getting richer, the more banks will flourished as well - regardless the source of people from getting rich.

2777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gamble small amount i win and when i gamble big i loose. on: September 25, 2016, 07:04:57 AM
Gambling with small amounts is nice but I think its good to try it with big amounts, of course its never sure you will win because its not for nothing called gambling.
You can lose but also win its all in gambling, its risky.
I think sticking with small bets is a good idea, you'll have much more fun. of course in the end you'll lose but you will have so much fun.

Some people can lose big amounts of money without even realizing it until later, all because playing with small bets for a long time, so it's very important to always keep track of your money and never wager more than you can willingly allow to lose.

These thing must be considered  by  some gamblers out there which  usually claims that they are  just betting  on small amount in able  not to be broke  in the end. Therefore they are expecting already that they would lose in the end and  in situation that  they are playing   in everyday basis then  even those small amounts would pile up and  in  the long run it would be also  a huge amount therefore it doesnt matter  if you bet big  or small in the start , the result would be still the same.

gambling is all about losing in the end. that is why you should always try to stay in the middle and never reach the end otherwise you will end up losing. and the only reason why people try to continue betting with smaller amounts is the they want to try and prolonge this middle period when they are still winning.

This is true. When you play on for a longer period of time, you increase yourself expose to house edge. What this means is that, at the end of the day, the casino will eventually win at least 1% if their house edge is 1%. No matter what you do or any other gamblers in that matter, casinos will win with at least 1% sooner or later.
2778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: September 25, 2016, 07:02:08 AM
It's not much fun loosing money but i still play for just the short entertainment gambling provides.
If you are playing purely hoping for profit every time then it sounds like you are getting in too deep and need to pull up a little.

There are some professional gamblers around but it must be a stressful occupation.
that is true , gambling are entertaining no matter you win or lost ,
people just take too serious action on their losts ,
make gambling as an income and being addicted are somthing that you should avoid to ,
just be an occasional gambler who want o have fun only.

Gambling must be treated that way only just for entertainment as you said aiming for profits and becoming addicted to it are the things that we must avoid when we are playing gambling. But as we all know no matter how we treat it the result would be still the same and that's losing money.
you can make gambling as your occasional hobby instead an income ,
first of all you need a stable income (more than what you need) have a permanent work ,
because i noticed that most loser gambler come from an unemployed ,
if you have already the requirement above you are good to go to gamble for fun without have to worry being addicted.
That is a very risky hobby, but anyway if you will only look at that way then you will be good. Just remember that once you play beyond the limits you will be at risk to experience the worst effect in gambling.

Correct, the word hobby means you are  playing  always since its a hobby which you would  have  higher chance on  being a gambling addict and with that you  are already risking your money  to loss in the end thats why  its not ideal to play gambling most of the time  or shall we say on daily basis.

For me, it is really ok if you just treat gambling as a hobby. The only wrong with this is when you already gamble every single day and you even missed some of your important meetings and work. Well, being addicted to gambling started as a hobby and then it becomes a daily habit and to gambling addiction already.
2779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 25, 2016, 06:58:27 AM
not worse , but i guess it's equal to gambling if you do trading without doing any research. investment and trading also are two different thing. the point are investment aren't pure gamble , so people should prefer to choose to do invest instead gamble , pretty clear choice.
I agree with this , trading without research about coin is same like gambling . But , it's more better than gambling because in trading it has lot of choices you can choose for coin (when you sell it on the right time , I think is gambling because it's depends on luck for sell it on the right time).
For me , I choose trading than gambling because I can control my money on trading.

This is definitely true. You can control your money in trading - you can set how much would you like to profit and the amount you will set that you can take the loss. When you just do on exchange, you will only lost or profit when you make a sell or if in margin, buy and sell. The only thing you will lost when you hold it for a long time is when the coin will going to down and no longer in operation.
2780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 25, 2016, 06:55:28 AM
the more rich i would be, the more i would gamble Wink
gambling is FUN.

FUN for richies!

This is true and the best way to approach gambling. You must only gamble for fun and not aiming for big profits because if you do the latter you will be having real hard time reaching that goal because of the casino house edge. If however, you are only playing for fun and only gamble money that you can afford to lose - whether you win or lost, you achieve your real reason why you gamble - entertainment.

I am also agreed with this gambling is not to get rich because it is a way to have fun, gambling have a lot of fun and entertainment so we were than that is nice way to have fun with some amount, with huge bankroll it is easy to get recover so quickly.

Even with a huge bankroll, if your do not have a good luck, you will end up losing. There are rich people who think that way and they all end up losing and bankrupt. It is not bad to gamble but it should only be done sparingly. The richer you are, the more you will gamble is a very bad idea.

I totally agree with this. If you are successful and became rich with your system or strategy in gambling, you should only increase your bankroll in proportionate to your current money. Never ever increase without calculating your present money and make it sure that you are only gambling money in proportionate to your old bankroll management amount.
