2781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Using Onboard GPU for normal Work while mining with and AMD GPU? on: March 06, 2014, 04:01:45 AM
@QuadraQ: I was also receiving the same error, then I had to use the dummy plug. Try it out. I made them myself, its very evry easy.  You just need the VGA-DVI adapter and three 68 ohm resistors, which are easily available from radioshack or eBay and they're dirt cheap.

Make sure to follow the instructions in proper order, step-by-step.
2782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: cgminer: --scrypt unrecognized option, not getting any h/s on: March 05, 2014, 12:33:23 PM
Also, how do I mine on the CPU then? I see no option? Why does it not automatically mine on CPU?

To mine on CPU, you need pooler's CPU miner. cgminer won't mine with CPU.

You've got my attention. Will switch to you soon once my scrypt ASIC miners arrive.

2789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next evolution of Altcoins on: March 05, 2014, 08:03:38 AM
- Darkcoin :
=> Super secure hashing algorithm: 11 rounds of scientific hashing functions (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd, echo
=> Power efficient : I get 3 times higher hashing rate compared to scrypt and consuming half my usual power (1180W instead of 2420W on Scrypt mining)
    => Difficulty adjusts every block

You forgot to mention anonymous blockchain transactions

1) Yes, a few altcoins (And of course Bitcoins too)
2) BTC in Nov 2013 and Alts in Dec 2013
3) Yes

4) Have had some luck mining alt coins in early stages and trading them for BTC later when prices go up. No benefit other than this.
5) I will go with "B" the kind which gains value based on "quality"

6) Yes, that would be wonderful
7) Answer is yes, so this question doesn't imply

8 ) Really hate 'copycat' coins unless they offer something that BTC/LTC do not offer. Like faster transactions, anonymity etc.
9) That's definitely possible
10) Too early to comment without concrete info

Haha, yeah. I guess so.

Glad I didn't have anything there except the giveaway satoshis I received from OP.
It was a good addictive game though.

I was just going to shout that.
So how long before we declare it a scam?

edit:
Is there anyone who has emailed them and successfully received a refund?
2800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My Lightning-fast Mining Speeds :D on: March 03, 2014, 03:18:16 PM
What's the slowest hashrate you can mine at? Can you get 1 hash per second on an ancient computer?

I think anything is possible with hard work and determination  Tongue
